Broad Generalization/Assumption

The folks that appreciate the Robins understand the fuckin Herculean labor of self-reinvention. For one reason or another, we've all had to claw our way out of something bad to something better (or at least not worse). Every person I talk to irl that identifies with the Robins has a trunk load of trauma and a mausoleum of skeletons.

We all look to stories about heroes to be inspired, to see that anyone is capable of greatness. Our hearts were broken when we found ourselves.

What´s the worst thing someone who has a the most big and gorgeous vehicle can have? Not being able to use it on winter because learn to drive with snow on the road is dangerous.

And what´s worse than that? That Doc´s new invention made it have more walks (and flies) than you would do in a normal year.

But against all probabilities, Heatwave really wanted to drive that thing, not because it was a gift from the other timeline they end up by accident, not because he wanted to impress (ok, just a little bit), not because he wanted Kade to shut up, but because he was ashamed, he, being a similar vehicle, wasn´t able to drive it, like, how it was possible? He was a firetruck and most of the functions were the same, why it was so hard to be the one on the flywheel?

“Heatwave! Look at this!” Boulder called from the comm link, sending to Heatwave´s visor a… really? “Is so cute! Don´t you think?”

“Yeah, pretty cute” Heatwave lied, he wasn´t the one who melted for a kitten with big eyes and a bow, but for him it was easy to lie just with his voice than with all the body, and didn´t have the spark to tell Boulder otherwise “Watcha doing?”

“Oh, nothing special, just relaxing, Blades passed me the photo, she found it on a forum.”

“A what?”

“A forum! I thought you already knew what it was.”

“Ah, pfft, course, I just didn´t understand the first time” He was lying again.

“Hm…”

“Believe me, why are you doubting?”

“Because you make me doubt a lot.”

“In what sense?” Heatwave asked in a serious and worried tone.

“In the sense where I just discovered you were lying, again.”

“Wha- Pfft- what made you say that?” Heatwave tried this time to relax his way of talk, accidentally using an awkward tone.

“Heatwave, are you really listening to yourself?”

“…No.”

“See?” Boulder replied definitely more relaxed than their partner, “admit it, you can´t lie to me.”

“No, I can´t, ahg” Heatwave sighed in frustration, squeezing his fingers on the flywheel “why it is so hard to lie to you?”

“Nah, the problem is you, you´re a bad liar” Boulder replied with soft hums that imitated a little laughing “a really bad one.”

“Yeah, yeah, there´s no need to repeat it” Heatwave said evasive, Boulder just chuckled on the comm link.

“Well, I´ll leave you, see you tonight?”

Heatwave is not feeling really okay today, but that´s not an obstacle for him! It never was and will never be! He passed through worst things and yet, nothing had putted him on rest or stopped, he could with a truck and he could handle with more... right?

hi honey!! i love your blog sm, and it's motivated me a lot. i see so many guides to glow up, or be more productive, etc, and what i really need is to re-invent myself. i just don't know where to start and how to push myself to actually change.

a good place to start when u wanna reinvent yourself and understanding and finding out who do you wanna become. after you've decided, give yourself permission to become that, bcuz u dont have to be tied down to one thing, your allowed to change and be whoever you wanna be. once you've given yourself permission i would go about it in affirmations so that then i can change the way i think -> to how the new version thinks.

the art of re-invention

you can change yourself whenever you want.

if you don't like yourself? change that.

the first step to this, is your mindset. change your mindset. how do you want to be perceived? perceive yourself that way; think of yourself that way.

think as if you can be whatever you want. you tell yourself you're ugly-- you become ugly. you tell yourself you're beautiful-- you become beautiful.

the same way some of you guys use the term: "feed yourself delusions" is literally my point. change the way you perceive yourself, feed yourself the things you want people to think when they look at you.

i didn't like the way i was naïve and how i didn't know how to say no. so i changed that about me. i started learning how to say no. i changed my mindset of thinking that people would spread rumors, or get mad at me for saying no when they ask for my homework answers.

you're sad because you think they won't like you? darling there are 8 trillion people roaming the earth? you're scared of that person and they're friend group of most likely 7-8 assholes? please; grow up and glow up because they never will.

if you don't like the way you are perceived then make small changes towards that, change the way you do the hair if you want, maybe even your make up style, the way you communicate.

remember this: i don't chase, i attract. what belongs to me, will simply find me. you remember that, you're the hottest person. literally thats all it takes.

this is because when you are desperate, and chasing you are perceived as weak, when you don't care and understand that what really and truly will help you and what god wants for you will happen and all will be right in the end. (or whatever you believe in; i believe in god.)

whatever it is you choose to do, remember the fact that it is a switch, it's basically a power that ANYONE (including you) holds, that they can turn the switch on and get to work and become the person they want to become.
