WATERCOLOR COMPARISON/REVIEW POST

!!!!PLEASE READ FIRST!!!!

these are MY PERSONAL OPINIONS and you can feel diffrently about these paints and i actually encourage that you voice your own opinions in the comments/reblogs. Same with brands that you yourself recommend. I am restricted in the paint brands i can get my hands on due to my location so i cannot speak for other countries really so i hope by this post may encourage other people to speak out about their favourite brands That being said please reblog this if you found it helpful i wanna help as much people to make an informed purchase since watercolor isnt cheap and it pains my heart when i people loose their money due to buying an overpriced shitty set

- this is based after usage on both very good watercolor paper (100% cotton 300g/m^2) AND a "decent" sketchbook (sakura/talens sketchbooks, which arent made for watercolor)

TO THE ACTUAL COMPARISON/REVIEW

1. WINSOR AND NEWTON - COTMAN (+one professional) Personally i feel like its one of the best options available for beginners and more advanced artists. Here where i live its one of the most easily available watercolors and i consider it the "safest" option It can be rather expensive with one half pan costing around 2.8~ euros and 8ml tubes going for around 4.8~ euros but i can assure you that they come a long way like most watercolors (and you can often find them cheaper) POINTS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT IF YOU BUY (PTTIAIYB) - you dont need to buy a full set unless it really comes out cheaper and you plan on using the full range of colors - i recomment buying tubes instead of halfpans if you are on a budget and want to take this seriously. it will get you far more paint especially if you manage to find them on sale. YOU CAN BUY HALF PANS SEPARATELY - if you dont have a box dont worry! make one yourself and tape the halfpans inside it with something like nano tape 2. RENESANS - EXTRA FINE WATERCOLOR This one is a mixed bag for me. The value is amazing as they cost ~1.3 euro per pan and are very pigmented but they are mostly only available in poland and are rather thick. I would say they are person specific and you should give them a try if you can PTTIAIYB - INTENSE AND EF ARE NOT THE SAME PAINTS there are no tubes for EF. only pans 3. SAKURA - KOI WATERCOLOR

if you have no other watercolor supplies and you plan on taking your set places this is a great place to start imo. you get everything you really need and its really nice. the watercolor can be a little grainy at times compared to COTMAN for example but its still very good Its a very good student grade watercolor if youre just starting out! (they will fade in sun after some time as they are not as lightfast as the brands above from my research) PTTIAIYB - if you finish a color refills are hard to get and are more expensive than what its worth. try finding a nice tubed paint that is similar instead :) 4. NEVSKAYA PALITRA - SONNET These are great paints in my opinion, very smooth and nice to paint with and you get a lot of paint in the set. They are student grade and some colors will fade after a year in the sun PTTIAIYB - these paints are russian and i know some people would rather not buy any russian products at all due to world events. from what i gathered the best substitudes for them are Ukrainian ROSA watercolors and paul rubens student grade colors [i was not aware of either of these existance before buying the SONNET watercolors] - no refills available from what i gathered 5. KURETAKE - GANSAI TAMBI Personally i dont vibe with these at all. they are hard to work with, they are weirdly glossy and come out patchy on less luxurious paper which i know is a pain to get cheaply. they arent very cheap either! >:[ but they are definetely special compared to other paints! if you like them maybe give me some tips! PTTIAIYB - only available in pans BUT you can buy them separately - pans are VERY BIG. might be hard and inconvenient if you 6. DERWENT - INKTENSE

I have the biggest love-hate relationship with these ever. On one hand they are something way diffrent than what any other watercolor can offer, they have some colors not available in other sets and are generally weird af BUT ON THE OTHER they are very hard to work with and dont really hold up on the promises made mostly the "pernament when dry" claim That is kinda bullshit ngl. even my swatches which have been drying for like 6 months at this point still lift up from the paper IMO unless you REALLY want them and get yourself educated on them DO NOT BUY. Especially if youre just starting out PTTIAIYB - get educated on pros and cons - technically NOT watercolor (rolls eyes)

Thank you so much for replying to all of the anons and non anons that you receive of people just ranting about the show, honestly you are the only one who opens up and answers other artist just delete them or don't answer (they are not obligated to do so), but again thank you.

To answer some of the questions:

1.- Who is Francine? She is the child of Freddy and Chica, and as far as I know (I don't follow much the lore of Freddy and Funtime Freddy show) she is powerful and magic and I think at first Eclipse wanted to use her, when he went and visited everyone at the other shows and when visiting Freddy and Funtime he noticed her and her magic seeing potential in her. As he left he promised Freddy to take care of her, but during the following months something about the mimic happened and funtime becoming evil (again i don't follow the show). When he came back funtime freddy and mimic were telling Eclipse to leave them continue with his plans and they won't interfere with their plans. So I think Eclipse/Davis scrapped the idea.

2.- the whole re writting of the universe? Yes it's still a thing, but during the week that Moon was away Sun tried approaching Golden, Funtime foxy and glamrock chica. Golden got rid of the magic of the star (meaning he remembers who is the actual villian) and with funtime foxy and glamrock chica I don't remember much because that episode was boring.

Yes ruin sun and moon will become something of an important character I think because he has appeared 2 times on the show and made appearances on the other shows.

I also feel that this isn't a "friends project" anymore and I can sense it in some voice lines of the VAs. I also feel like Davis is making whatever he wants without consultation, maybe he is but idk I don't work behind the scenes to actually see what's going on. Because when Sun went and saw Golden, Golden was so insisting that the star was created by magic and what not, when in previous episodes Moon has said that he created the star, and now there are multiple stars like the infinity stones from Avengers, they made a joke about that.

This is my personal hot take but I feel like the Actor april fool's video is just Davis being as raw as possible, but that's my take. And I agree Davis maybe bitter, because when there's some sort of drama regarding his precious show he will speak up and it's very formal and what not in his twitter long posts or google docs but when he attacks he knows where to hit, like how he has said some sort of criticism towards artists that are currently off the grid or that stopped watching of the sun and moon show because there's nothing else to it. The show has killed so many characters that the fanbase love, like for example bloodmoon they have their own cult following, or characters that we didn't experience that much, like KC where we only knew that he was reactivated, and he just had one, ONE EFFING outing to Kmart and bumped to Freddy and he changed, like what? Also they need to address what happened when the creator forced him to kill again, is he surpressing it? because that can't be good and I thought they were going to address it on the KC HAS A DARK SECRET or something they had as a title but no.

See as someone who studied all these things for the past 3 years and did my graduation dissertation on virtually the pretty same thing, about Military and Police Action and its affect on human rights around the world with a special focus on South Asia. Reading all these things do make me angry because people go and use such heavy terms to describe stuff which isn't at that level. This is my field of study and you better bet that I'm gonna go and criticize people for making statements which aren't true.

If you think that England is actually a police state then please go and spend some time in places like Afghanistan, go to mayanmar, heck go to parts of India even like Manipur which has been embroiled in a civil war between ethnic groups since the past two months. Those people live in police states, not someone living in Engalnd or the UK in general.

I am breaking my rule of not responding until the poll is done coz I dont want to assume anything but this piece is so much spot on.

You summed up Deruth in canon which is a person who is a coward, selfish, and borderline spineless even when things involved are the ones who supposedly love and cherish in his life. Like I dont begrudge anyone who wants a conflict-free life but that is not possible in human relationships and reality. Two major wonders of this fandom to me is how the hell he got married 2 times and begot children if this was his real personality. And be a political leader (whether he likes it or not) at that!

As I said, I wholeheartedly agree with your characterization of Deruth because he has been consistent and for his apologists out there, there are instances in canon which illustrates this.

I am convinced that he doesn’t like conflict or negative emotions and he reacts also very poorly when life upends his very privileged life, which also leads to a bit more extreme in my views of him.

As per your options

I said that I have my reservations about this because it puts Deruth in a sympathetic mode, which I am uncomfortable with because of his past and continuing actions and the feeling of the injustice of it all. It reminds me of those estranged parents placed in a vulnerable state and using that state as a ‘pass’ to ‘get their way’ aka force other people to do what they want so to speak despite their faults and mistakes. In my opinion, Og!Cale will be forced (as he was always been in his life) to acquiesce to a father who never stood by him because said father puts his personal comfort over him/his again, and again and again.

2. For this option, the result will vary depending on how og!Cale feels about their relationship if the said relationship is still existing at all. Again, doormat!og!Cale tends to blame himself unnecessarily because the moment to talk has been passed and way over.

3. Oh lord, it is Jour happening all over again. And we all know what happened after, don’t we? Also, give the kid a fucking break on his resting place. Anyone who spoils that resting place is bribed and a turncoat!

I think og!cale picked that nasty habit of distancing, opting for conflict-free things that turned him into a doormat of some sort. There I said it! I love this guy but he is an effing doormat to boot!

Sometimes, with Deruth, I don’t feel like we are talking about a grown adult – with spouses and children. He seems to lacking that unconditional love for his child that a lot of people attribute to him. If this is true, his bravado of family/familiar ties is certainly meaningless, a mask and lends more of him doing things for his own happiness.

We all know that Deruth is currently incapable of actually communicating with his son. For reference, I believe that he has a strained relationship and with minimal communication for almost a decade (starting from when he lost his mother (8-ish) to his in-universe age (being 18).

My question is, when do you think Deruth will have the guts to simply initiate an authentic, heartfelt and open convo with his kid? Keep in mind that in the real world, 18 yrs old is legal and people are capable of striking on their own and are not obliged to keep in touch with their parents., Let's imagine that this applies to new adult Og!cale. And yes, no KRS coming over for this poll (sorry).

I am tired of this review war thing. For the sake of transparency I only have like six followers and half of them are bots. You promote only your friends not other writers and that is fair enough its your tumblr. People go to ocappreciation if you want promotion on a general platform. Wait at my computer for the plaudits and then complain when. I don't get what I want. I would hate my audience to feel like they're obligated. I'm not obligated to update when somebody tells me to and they re not o ligated either to do anything. I dont kill a story I like writing or shelve a character because nobody's loving it. Yeah appreciation is great but when that's ALL it becomes about then I am outta here. I review BTW etc and its never effing enough which makes me feel this *small*

I have never once threatened to kill off a character or change a story because I’m not getting “what I want”. 

Yes, there are certain people whose posts I like and reblog more than others. Wanna know why? Because those people have invested time and effort into developing friendships with me. I’m way more likely to reblog a friend’s post or review a friend’s fic. It’s the same as IRL, you would do a lot more for a friend than you would for someone you don’t know as well.

Stop telling people they’re not allowed to be upset about a lack of feedback. It’s part of this toxic positivity bullshit where people have to grin and bear it because someone like you might go “but I get far less than you so why are you complaining”. It’s the same mentality as telling someone they have an easy life so they’re not allowed to have depression or anxiety because you’ve had it harder.

@poe-tato-dameron has easily the most popular Jaime/OC fic out there. Would I tell her not to complain if she felt that she wasn’t getting the amount of reviews she wanted? Would I say she didn’t have the right to complain because my GoT fics don’t get the amount of reviews that hers does? No, because everyone is entitled to their own feelings about their work.

You’re completely missing the point, which doesn’t surprise me because you’re not the first to read into actions as “having a temper tantrum”. It’s not about​ the expectation, and creators aren’t “selfish” for having those expectations. It’s about the fact that every damn time we say “hey can we get more acknowledgement of the hard work we put it”, people like you jump down our throats and say we’re being rude, we’re being ungrateful, and I’ve had it.

So *ahem* I have an announcement to make today. 2020 was a massively shit year for everyone involved but while yes my year was suckish for the most part in the beginning what made it all worth while was making the new friends I have today and love with my all my heart. I don’t know any of these people, but honestly my heart aches and longs for the day I can because goddammit I want to give them all the hugs I can, last year while looking simply to roleplay with I met my best friend @dont-tempt-me-frodo. We talked over ideas ran through a couple of them, while finding out about each other as well and worked on a few things until finally we are at the story we are at now and I couldn’t be prouder of myself or her! She is a brilliant mind, and I am so glad I stumbled upon her blog because she is the best friend I have ever had in years and yes you may see a lot of HER content on my wall because I enjoy hyping her content because she freaking deserves all the praise she can get, the way she writes is fucking phenomenal and until the day I cannot do so any longer I will hype this amazing, adorable, wonderful human being up! And if you have yet to read her stuff please, please please do! You will not regret it,

I also met another last year, her name I will not divulge simply because she doesn’t get on tumblr, she has one she just never uses it. Anyways, I met her when looking for a game of thrones group to talk to. I was one of the fans who hadn’t watched the end of game of thrones right away because I was already behind and was like the rest of the fandom and just wanted to cry because the ending was horrible but I met her in a group, and we became friends rather quickly as well, we fangirled over characters in shows, like Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings, we fangirled over people, like Keanu effing Reeves and Markiplier, we talked about pretty much everything and she and my friend who I gushed about above became apart of my sanity during 2020.

It may have been shit, but I found two of the greatest people to help me through that year and I hope I can remain friends with them for many more years.

So here’s to you two my lovelies and thank you for being there for me, thank you for dealing with my overly fangirling ass and jumping from stories to others and understanding me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing by me, you are the BEST internet friends I could EVER ask for!

So i heard that the total drama show is getting a new season or smthn and i wanted to send a heads up for anyone (sending it here bc u seem to have more followers than me) dont reblog from ch//r//ef (im p sure thats still their url, idk the other blogs they have) bc theyve drawn nsfw of like a majority of the cast (who are primarily anywhere between 15-20 years old) and has drawn numerous pieces of art depicting chris being assaulted in a sexualized way by a character that i believe is a teenager (dont quote me on that last part)

I know total drama (its coming back for 2 seasons on hbo max) and theres a lot of creeps in the fandom, every contestant is 14-18yrs (oldest being duncan who turned 18 during a season) the original writters should of been fired after the first season where they kept showing off the kids naked (as a humor thing but i stg its still nasty) of having the whole kiwi shots things be a semi plot driven thing. Not to mention how they treated mental illness or bipoc characters and the bestiality jokes.

Sorry for the rant, theres a lot wrong with tdi and its fandom.

Honey, back in my day I would have had to blacklist a whole lot of dA Sonic fanartists who had side accounts on FurAffinity. Lol

But aaannnyyyywaaayyy, my take on this is that, I dont give a damn. I'm not going to reblog the rule 34 stuff. I hate the stuff. And I cant reblog it anyway because of the ban. People wanna draw what they want to draw and write what they want to write. As long as they keep it far away from me it's no skin off my back. And if they have a totally tame piece of fan art that I like, I'm gonna reblog it. Simple as that. If it bothers you the unfollow button is right there..

Honestly some of the people who drew nsfw art we're still nicer people than some of the ones I've seen around here who only draw "morally pure" art. At least they don't go sending anon hate and threatening violence over an effing ship.  Though, I do admit that there were a fair amount of pompous assholes.  But that was pretty much it.  They still didn’t threaten to hurt people.  But I’m sure 99% of these “die by my blade” people would straight up run and cower if confronted off the net.

01x12 (part 1)

Season One Episode Twelve: Faith

A/N: Alright, a quick note. my computer is effed up. The updates may start to slow down unfortunately until I can figure out how to fix this mess but they’ll still come, I promise. I love hearing from you guys, so please keep the feedback coming! Let me know of any ideas you guys have for future episodes, storylines, ect and as always, please REBLOG if you enjoyed.

Summary: a hunt gone wrong, hospital beds, and another call to John.

`“What do you have those amped up to?” Sam asked as Dean rummaged through his trunk for the taser guns.

“100,000 volts,” Dean grinned, handing one to you and Sam and taking one for himself.

“Damn,” you commented, moving it around in your hands. You were careful with your

inspections and Dean filled his backpack up with any extra supplies you may need but truly, this was the one and only thing that could actually kill this thing.

“Yeah, I want this rawhead extra freakin’ crispy,” Dean mumbled and then looked at you, pointing the butt of his taser gun at you and dancing it between you and Sam. He was really only talking to you and you knew that. “Remember, you’ve only got one shot with these things, so you better make it count.”

“Yeah, I remember,” you mumbled with a little attitude laced in your voice at his reminder. You accidentally fire one of these prematurely once and you’ll never live it down. Dean closed the trunk to the Impala and you snuck your way into the old, creaky, house. It seemed to be abandoned for the most part, the floors hardly kept up with, garbage everywhere. You made your way to the basement, guns pointed and flashlights ready.

It was quiet until it wasn’t and there was a bang coming from one of the walls. All three of your flashlights instantly went to the noise and you crept closer to it. On the count of three, Dean pulled open the little door that you assumed led to a little crawlspace. You jumped when he opened it but relief flooded you when you saw it was two little kids.

One boy and one girl, shaking with their knees pulled to their chest. “Is it still here?” Sam asked, loosely looking over them for any obvious injuries. The boy nodded to his question and you gestured for them to stand up and get out of the crawlspace.

“Grab your sister’s hand. We’re gonna get you out of here,” Dean said. You put your hand on their backs, carefully walking them over to the stairs with Sam and Dean guarding your back. You and the kids made it to the landing but Sam’s groan was too loud in your ear and then there was a thud and some screaming and Sam tumbled down the stairs. “SAM!” You and Dean both called out for him. Dean shot his taser gun in the direction that he must have seen this thing but he missed.

Sam quickly got up and ran back up the stairs to you, tossing his taser gun at Dean. “Take this!” He ordered. Dean caught it easily, nodding towards you and his brother before you disappeared behind the corner and ran out of the house. Sam told you to stay put, guarding the entrance to the house while he secured the girls in the car.

You couldn’t hear much coming from the basement but you were anxiously waiting. Dean could handle himself was the mantra that you repeated over and over again while your leg shook in anticipation. “I’m gonna go back down there!” You called for Sam. He didn’t say anything, just waved a hand at you to give you the go ahead and you whipped around, running back down the stairs trying not to make too much noise but the second you saw Dean lying in the corner of the basement, unconscious, you ran.

You could feel a pulse on your fingertips but you didn’t know if it was his or just yours from your heart beating so quickly. He wouldn’t wake up, no matter how much you tried to shake him awake or slap his cheeks or begged him to. You knew you couldn’t carry him up the stairs alone and it felt like an eternity, you sitting there, checking for pulses on his neck and his wrists while crying out for Sam until he eventually showed up. He ran to your side, doing all the same steps that you just did until he grabbed him and helped you carry him to the car.

Getting the kids to safety was your first mission but it felt insignificant to you as you cradled Dean’s head in your lap in the front seat of the Impala. You tried not to cry now that you weren’t alone and you didn’t want to freak the kids out so you sniffled to yourself quietly until the kids got out of the car and then Sam and then Dean to take him into the hospital. It wasn’t until you were left alone in the car while Sam delivered him to the ER that you let yourself really, really cry. Like snot shooting out of your nose, not being able to tell the difference between snot and tears on the back of your hand, whole body shaking kind of cry. When you were done and your eyes were bloodshot and your nose was rosy, you went in to join Sam.

You and Sam were at the reception area, trying to figure out how to pay for this mess when the lady gave you a solemn look, “there doesn’t seem to be any insurance on file.” Sam mumbled a few words to himself, grabbing his wallet out of his pocket. He was just as shaken up as you, maybe even more but he was handling it much better. You hadn’t seen him cry but that didn’t mean he wasn’t and he handed the lady a credit card - stolen. “Okay, mister Berkovitz,” she said, reading the name on the card.

You looked over your shoulder at the policemen waiting, watching, staring at you. You pulled on Sam’s jacket after the lady went to run the card and made your way to the policemen. They gave you another solemn look and you were already tired of all the pity looks you were receiving from people. You wanted to be left alone. “We can, uh, finish this up later,” the policeman offered.

“No, it’s okay,” Sam told them, shoving his hands in his jacket pocket. “We were just taking a shortcut through the neighborhood and our windows were rolled down. We heard some screaming when we drove past the house, and we stopped and ran inside,” he explained the fake version of it all. The civilian version it.

“And found the kids in the basement?” The officer finished, you and Sam both nodded. “Well thank god that you did,” he said, offering you a proud smile. This was one of the more friendlier encounters with the police you’ve had in the past few years and you were disappointed that it was under such grave circumstances.

You heard a door opening from behind you and you excused yourself from the officers, Sam quickly following. The policemen yelled a thank you down the hall as you ran up to the doctor. “Is he-” You started but the doctor held out a hand, suggesting that you calm down. You took two deep breaths and then the doctor smiled.

“He’s resting,” he said.

“And?” You pushed.

“The electrocution triggered a heart attack - pretty massive, I’m afraid. His heart is damaged,” the doctor explained. You felt like your heart was damaged hearing that news. You felt Sam’s body tense up.

“How damaged?” Sam asked and you braced yourself for the worst news possible. You could see it in the doctor's eyes that that was coming. You wrapped your arm around Sam’s, leaning into him for comfort.

“We’ve done all that we can. We just need to try and keep him comfortable at this point but I’d give him a couple weeks at most, maybe a month,” he explained. You thought that you had cried all of your tears but more threatened to come. Your heart was pounding so hard in your chest you thought that you were going to vomit all of the doctor’s white coat.

“No. There’s gotta be more that you can do,” Sam protested, his face falling and there they were: the tears. “Some kind of treatment,” Sam suggested.

“We can’t work miracles. I really am sorry.” Your lips parted and you could feel the tears streaking down your face and you felt paralyzed in that hallway with that doctor but Sam pushed you off of him and pushed past the doctor and into Dean’s room where the TV was lightly humming.

When you entered the room, Dean was mumbling something about daytime TV with his raspy voice that cut deep into your skin and left you bruised. You popped up behind Sam, who sighed and let out a sharp exhale. “We talked to your doctor,” he said.

“That fabric softener teddy bear. I wanna hunt that little bitch down,” Dean said, pursing out his lips as he changed the channel of the TV.

“Dean,” you warned. He rolled his eyes, putting the remote down on his lap.

“Looks like you guys are gonna have to leave town without me,” he said bluntly.

“What are you talking about? We’re not gonna leave you here,” you said, stepping out from behind Sam’s back, getting braver and braver but it was hard to see him in this condition. It was heart wrenching.

“You better take care of that car,” he warned. “I swear I’ll haunt your ass.”

“I don’t think that’s funny,” Sam said and you agreed but you bit your lip to prevent yourself from smiling.

“Oh come on, it’s a little bit funny.” You couldn’t help but let out a little laugh and Sam smiled, looking down at his feet. The room fell silent then and Dean let out a sigh. “Look, Sammy, what can I say, man? It’s a dangerous gig and I drew the short straw. That’s it, end of story.”

“Don’t talk like that, alright? We’ve still got options,” Sam pleaded with his brother. You knew just as well as Dean that there were no options but Sam would play the devil’s advocate until Dean died. He would always beat the horse too thin. Pray for a miracle that would never come.

“What options? You got burial or cremation,” Dean deadpanned.

“Hey,” you warned, shooting him a glare. He licked his lips, raised his eyebrows at you apologetically and then sighed again.

“I know it’s not easy but I’m gonna die. And you can’t stop it,” Dean said. He was the first one to really say it out loud. In those words. Sam’s face was scrunched up and red and you saw the tears pooling in his eyelid but you knew he wouldn’t let them fall around Dean. You put your hand on his forearm briefly and then sat on the edge of Dean’s bed.

“Watch me.”

The next few days were spent searching the internet and calling everyone in John’s journals to figure out a way to fix this, but Sam wasn’t sleeping and he wasn’t crying and you felt like maybe he was holding back for you because even when you were hiding in the bathroom, waiting for him to do something while he was alone - there was nothing. You couldn’t even hear him crying in the shower.

You were perched on the edge of the bed, the laptop on your lap while Sam tried John’s phone. No answer. “Hey dad, it’s Sam. Uh… You probably won’t even get this, but, uh, it’s Dean,” he started, his voice shaking and cracking. You closed the laptop and pushed it to the side. “He’s sick and the doctors say there’s nothing they can do.” He paused, his face scrunching up in pain. “But hey,” he chuckled, “they don’t know the things we know, right? So don’t worry, cuz I’m, uh, gonna do whatever it takes to get him better.” Sam kept hitting his ankle that was crossed over his knee and playing with the frayed ends. “All right, just wanted you to know.” Sam hung up and you were angry at John for not answering and not being here and making Sam do this alone.

“Hey,” you whispered, putting your hand on his shoulder. He jumped at your touch, almost like he forgot that you were even there but he softened when he looked at your face. You gave him a weak smile. “We’ll fix this, okay?” You promised him. It wasn’t something you could promise or that you should have promised but you did it anyway to make him feel better.

He pushed off the bed and started to pace around the room, running his hands through his dirty hair. He looked like such a mess. You could almost see the anger building up inside of him on his face. The way he squeezed his eyes shut, the way his lips were tight against each other. Sam turned around and in one swift motion, he cleaned the table clean of all the magazines and take out menus that littered it.

You jumped to your feet and put your hands on his biceps, coaching him to look at you. Begging him to look you in the eyes. When he finally did, you gave him another weak smile. “Breathe, okay? Please?” You asked. Sam licked his lips and then took a deep breath, nodding at you but when he let it out, he shook his head and crashed his body into yours.

You wrapped your arms around him and he squeezed you so tight you thought your head was going to pop off but you didn’t mind because that was Sam and you were willing to hold him for as long as he needed or wanted you to but a knock at the door broke the moment.

You sat him down on the bed and got the door yourself. “Dean?” His skin was pale and he was sweating even though it was cold outside and his body was pressed against the doorframe. “What the hell are you doing here?” You scolded him for leaving but the smile on Sam’s face when he saw him, made you regret it.

“I checked myself out,” he smirked, limping into the room, holding himself up with the chair.

“Are you crazy?” Sam asked but his face was filled with relief and joy that his brother was here with him. You knew just how crazy it made him think about Dean in that hospital bed, alone, watching daytime TV that he hated.

“I wasn’t going to die in a hospital, especially where the nurses aren’t even hot,” he joked as you closed the door behind him and helped him sit down in the chair. Neither of you laughed at his joke, but Dean still thought it was funny and he chuckled.

“You know, this whole “I laugh in the face of death” thing is crap. I can see right through it,” Sam told him, trying to scold or be serious but he was still smiling a little bit.

“Yeah, whatever, dude,” Dean rolled his eyes and adjusted his jacket so that he was comfortable and you couldn’t imagine that he was but he was putting on a brave face despite the fact that he looked like he was dying. “Have you even slept? You look worse than me,” he teased.

“He hasn’t,” you answered for Dean but giving Sam a glare. You had been begging him the last few days to just get a few moments of sleep and you would do the research for him but he insisted on staying up until he found a solution for his brother. Even as you slept, you could feel his body stirring next to you.

“I’ve been scouring the internet for the last three days. Been calling every contact in dad’s journal,” Sam explained, sitting down on the bed across from his brother. You sat next to him, pulling out the laptop and opening it up. There weren’t many solutions out there, but the one that you had so far, was pulled up on the computer.

“For what?” Dean groaned, visibly uncomfortable.

“For a way to help you. One of dad’s friends, Joshua, he called me back. He told me about a guy in Nebraska, a specialist,” Sam explained. You pulled up all the reports of the guy that you could find online, up, spinning the computer to show Dean. All the articles you could find showed nothing but good things. This guy healing people from even the brink of death.

Dean scanned the screen and shook his head, “you guys aren’t gonna let me die in peace, are you?” He asked.

“We’re not gonna let you die, period. We’re going.”
