every time I hear someone say “we should just get rid of physical shops and have everything online” I get a bit angry because

a) physical shops are important for those who don’t have access to a computer/ internet/ ect

b) those “weird” and “niche” shops I love so much don’t have the same vibe online, they turn into just another website

c) I hate paying for shipping

to those of you who are moving here from tiktok, from someone whos used both tiktok and tumbr for years...

1. DO NOT censor your posts

dont censor sex, abuse, suicide, dont censor it. we dont have censors like tiktok does, you wont be banned for talking about these things and tagging them properly helps people avoid them (also, we dont have shadowbanning here)

2. we dont really have an algorithm

you follow who you follow, and you see posts from who you follow or what you search. the 'for you page' is basically useless here. this also brings me to my next two points

3. dont crosstag

we get it, on tiktok you have to crosstag for reach, but thats not really a thing here. just tag your posts properly (also posters often leave more info about the post in the tags!! and when you reblog stuff you can leave your own notes in the tags, kind of like the old "repost comments" on tiktok)

4. dont expect to go viral/be famous

"viral" isnt really a thing on here (at least not for the average blogger). your posts will probably get 2-10 likes and you wont get nearly as many followers than on tiktok. thats just how tumblr is

5. blocking is your best friend

tiktok is VERY discussion based, and while tumblr is much more discussion based than other social medias, its still not a good place for ragebait/discourse. dont interact, itll make your experience worse in the end, just block and move on

6. you cant go into someone elses house and start rearranging their furniture

this is tumblr, not tiktok. dont diss old tumblr users for how they use the site or try to change them, thats like going into someone elses house and trying to rearrange their furniture. we've been here longer and we're familiar with the site and its culture, either find your niche, adapt, or find a different app

I thought about making an xmen blog but i have too many blogs and i dont care if it's on main at this point.

I hate astrology posters on this site now.

Because i feel these people have no reading comprehension. (And i misread something earlier,so i deleted it,that was on me. So apologies on my part)

But im done with tumblr astrology. Period. Even if its fun,i just can't stand the blatant bigotry in those circles. I've tolerated and let slide too much.

Im going to other actual legitimate sites and people for that from now on.

Because whew the bias n favoritism (and among many other things) on this site is full of yikes.

This post was about the problems in this particular part of tumblr. So if you're not willing to address the issues and live in "love n light" then you are contributing to the problem.

This post was calling out the issues i have actually observed and seen within the community. It is unfortunately full of fat phobic and lots of racism and terfs. To say otherwise is ignorant.

I love astrology as much as the next person. But do not come at me on my post that i made stating otherwise.

Take the criticism and do better. Thats all.

If your astrology "observations" have any of the following.

You are not an astrology reader. You are bias,projecting,and are a snake oil salesman. You need to stop. Immediately.

Sexuality: sexuality and orientation has NOTHING to do with astrology. Stop lying and stop wasting time for people. Let people figure themselves out. We dont need a tumblr "guru" to fucking tell us if we feel "gay enough"

Weight. This one pisses me off. Fatphobia is not cool. It's actually gross. And you astro babes need to check yourself before you post some crap talking about someone's weight. Which again has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHATEVER THE FUCKING STARS SAY!!!! and fyi. Fat people exist,in all signs n placements. Get tf over yourselves! Fat phobia i wont tolerate in any field especially the spiritual. You should be ashamed astro girlies.

Racism. This one should be fucking obvious but apparently it's not. Ugh

Disorders and or mental or medical problems and issues. No. No no. NO! only said persons doctors and health professionals and providers. And a brain doctor. Should be telling them how to help handle their needs. Not some fucking tumblr person. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER FUCKING PUT ANYTHING ABOUT SOMEONE'S MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS OR POTENTIAL DISABILITIES IN A FUCKING ASTRO POST! i immediately know you're full of crap when you do this. "Pisces are more likely to have x disorders" fuck off brenda. No they are not. Don't fucking do that. You could be harmful to someone by saying that. Haven't posted here in a hot minute. But i came here to say

Blade still deserves another movie or at least a series again.

Best scenario is we get an animated series. But that's a dream.

I dunno at this rate if we'll get another movie with how they keep fumbling both ali and wesley.

It makes me mad man. But also sad because both of them have every right to play the character but i genuinely feel people want a full movie with wesley again,if not just for one more time.

But anyways,we'll see i guess.

Also i genuinely don't want blades "daughter" (also since when did blade genuinely have a relationship,let alone a kid? And not be some dumb shit? Like Could we not do this shit again? Plz and have an actual stand alone black male lead movie that wasn't trying so hard? And pretending that they care when they dont. Plus even if he did in a comic run. Was its actually good or did yall just say that so you dont get "cancelled" online? Like i dont think blade is popular enough on his own, to even handle that kinda passing the mantle unlike xmen or avengers because of how much they oversell them. Like as much as i hate it. Its true. Blade is still kinda niche. And only now people seem to care because of the deadpool/wolverine movie. When blade fans have asked this for years and crickets. Because marvel just up n now decides because people are sick of superheroes they wanna bring in someone who legitimately has been trashed by critics or put on hold in the back burner. Like some people wanna act like they cared but they never did. But i digress. I still feel this movie should be made. But i worry the mcu is gonna ruin him. Which honestly i doubt they will even greenlight it becausemarvel is allergic to black superheroes standing on their own without a team and is ground lvl and street lvl. Relatable. And not used for political propaganda. Looking at you falcon cap. Black panther was only great because it was made with love during in the time it needed to be plus it had a black director, actors,lead,and crew mostly. Plus black panther's whole thing was different. Blade is not for children too. He's not a role model. He is a hero. But not a role model. He's dark,gritty,brooding at times,gruff,with a heart of gold. He's more of an antihero. But unlike the likes of wolverine,suddenly people have a problem with age when it's a black man. Dont think this is bias and racism from marvel studios. It is. Always has been. So yeah. But enough venting.)

I feel blade should be given another chance.
