1 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,
7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
(Psalms 8, ESV)

If you need me I'll be chewing on the fact that, yes, the other eight uses are in Exodus and are about the Tabernacle tapestries and in the New Testament our bodies are called the temple of the Lord

Here’s more of psalm 109
9: Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10: Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11: Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

The Lord finishes what He started
‭Psalms 138:7-8 MSG‬
[7-8] When I walk into the thick of trouble, keep me alive in the angry turmoil. With one hand strike my foes, With your other hand save me. Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don’t quit on me now.

Psalm 138:7-8 (NKJV) - Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Here's my art piece for day 12 of the bawktober event, quilt, featuring my precious Lusa. 😊 I was excited for this prompt, and praying about what to draw (and I knew early on I wanted to include this Verse which is one of my favorite comfort Scriptures); when Lusa and I were blessed with this...
My precious Lusa sleeps in my bed while she recovers from a sickness -which God is miraculously healing her from. ❤️ Every night I tuck her into a cat-bed nest next to my pillow. That night -it was right before the day of the prompt- Lusa seemed to be having trouble getting comfortable, which often happens due to her weakness. Concerned, I prayed for her, asking that that God may give her peace and rest and praying the words of this very Verse over both of us. I woke up much later and checked on her to find her sound asleep with her head tucked under her wing- a restful position for chickens and one she hadn't had the strength to get into for several days prior. I drew her with her sing tucked peacefully beneath her wing, in gratitude for the peace God provided for my baby. It was such a beautiful little miracle and a special blessing I thank Jesus for.

"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans; it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."
