Thank you sweet friend. 💙😭 I wanna sit with you in person and dry off and warm up.

I just need to lean on Jesus, to let Him dry me of pain and worry and confusion and restore me with His Spirit. His Love warms us. We're allowed and welcomed to rest in Him. He will wipe each tear.

You don't have to force yourself to bounce back so quickly. I read something recently that said "when you come in from a rainstorm, you don't expect yourself to be dry and warm right away", and it really resonated with me. It's okay to take time to dry off and warm up. Take the time you need to process what happened to you.

Meet Vanilla! 😊

So grateful to God for blessing me with this precious little bird! <3 (And for all He's blessing me with through her.)

My precious little silkie serama Lusa rests in peace now in her Maker's care. I miss her, grateful for all the moments and blessings, and now I've adopted this lovely hen to care for in her memory.

Vanilla is very sweet, friendly, and chatty, with the most adorable little squeak and I bolder personality than I'd expected lol. She wants to meet my other chickens, her new sisters, already, and she seems very kind. And doesn't her coloration look like vanilla ice-cream? 😊

She lost her mate recently, so we both miss someone dear to us. I'm thankful too that as I'm going through another difficult time and as she settles in we can find comfort in each other, and in our Creator.

It's a beautiful blessing to be reminded and shown how to lean on Jesus in these moments as this hen leans on me. <3 As I rest together with my new bird and pray and thank the Lord, the Holy Spirit is teaching me gratitude, trust and peace among other lessons, and I know we're both cared for and blessed.

Awww they're so cute, thanks so much for drawing them! I love seeing your Whisper design, the tail marking is so neat! :D He's gotten so big, he was just a kit not long ago and now he's taller than Whis 😭

And I love the little plant speech bubble, that is adorable and so pretty looking! She's telling him all about herbs :)) And seeing as it's an interest of his that he never got the opportunity to pursue Whisper is enjoying the random crash course :D his shyness has gotten in the way of asking Shadowsight to train him but I can imagine Whis encouraging him to go for it.

God wants you to trust Him. He wants you to expect something good for your future. If you're in a tough circumstance, expect it to change. If you're in a good circumstance today, expect it to get even better! God is a God of hope and He's soooo good to us!

Dear God, thank You for another day to lean on You. Even when life’s a whirlwind, I know You’re right there, holding me steady. Help me think, speak, and act in ways that show others who You are. Please give me the strength to face whatever comes my way and the wisdom to turn to You, no matter what. Fill my heart with thankfulness because I know You’re good, no matter what I see around me. As I move through today, remind me to trust Your plan and find joy knowing You are always with me. Amen.

PRAYER FOR TODAY Father God, I’m leaning on the truth of what You’ve spoken over my life. When everything around me feels upside down, I’m choosing to look beyond the mess and catch sight of Your bigger picture—a place where peace stands strong and righteousness wins every time. Thank You for those quiet moments that remind me You’re working, even when I can’t see it. Help me stay steady and move forward today, knowing You’re weaving all things together for good, and Your plan never fails. Amen.
