I thought about an AU where Lau is reincarnated in the present time but has his memories from the Qing Dynasty. He is one of the sons of the emperor and remembers he had to run away because he couldn’t be with the love of his life and that’s how he became a criminal too. 👀

Lau pointed at himself and approached the stranger who was reading people’s fortunes, he knew about this since his country believed in such practice but Lau didn’t got involved in such thing because he was no interested. Once again I am here to say I was robbed when Yana decided to draw Lau with short hair but I want another flashback about him. I know he was young when he reached the status he has but what about his past? What about when he was in China? What kind of family he had? Is he one of the sons of the emperor? Or is he a peasant? I guess it is up to me to fill in the gaps because I really want to portray him the way that seems more accurate since no one has ever delivered that kind of content to us. 🥺😖

NO one is online and I have been thinking what kind of lover would Lau like and how he would behave when he is kissed or touched. I think about this but I don’t know who would even love him but I am pretty sure he would love to have a lover. I actually thought about another reason why he ran away and he was supposed to run away with his lover but his lover never showed up and he had to board the ship to escape the kingdom and never go back. Imagine his lover had to leave him because the emperor found out and gave them some alternatives, “you disappear and will never go after my son” or “if you board that ship, we will find you both and kill you.” My mind is in the damn gutter and I have to chill before I go crazy and stupid.

Ciel raised a brow almost in curiosity. Whether to trust his business partner or not? Lau could just as easily have the Earl and his butler run around in circles if they decided to take him on his offer. He wasn’t certain if that was a risk he was willing to leave to chance. “I may think over your offer. Currently I am interested solely in expanding my company’s confectionery as a test to see how it fares overseas.” Slender hands followed suit in tasting his own tea. Sebastian had prepared a new tea in light of their guest; “Pearl Tea” as it was called. While he wasn’t fond of herbal teas, he would take such over nothing.

“Hm?” Ah. So he remembered. With his ability to prattle on about subjects to then not know what they were actually speaking about, Ciel was a tad hesitant one could say about retrieving the information he required. “I take it your source has a long time hand in the underground opium dwellings as you,” he questioned as he reached for the envelope and carefully opening it to read what was inside.

“I heard from some new immigrants from my country that exportation might be a way to help build the economy, that’s why a lot of them come here for job opportunities. Imagine the wonders that would do to your company and the people that might need a job to support themselves or families. It would be a win-win situation don’t you think?” Lau smiled at the Earl and finished drinking his tea and gently placed the cup down on the table then reclined himself on the couch. “Perhaps he has, getting information from trusted sources could be quite complicated but because I am in charge of the Qing Bang, they have to do some of the dirty work. Being the branch manager of Kong-Rong has its perks and getting valuable information to help you out is one of them.”
