College Halloween Party (One Piece)
I had this idea a few nights ago and such and decided to try it out and see what is like. This is basically like an otome game where you get to choose the character you wish to date during Halloween. Who saves you? Who asks you to dance? I will add more characters as the years go on probably.
Halloween College Party
Halloween party was starting to get exciting as you sat in the corner eyeing everyone that passed by you. The Straw Hats as usual threw the loudest and wildest party inviting everyone that they could that you decided to play a little game and see if you could recognize those that had been invited.
But soon got bored as few faces were recognizable, the straw hats knew so many people and everyone was starting to blur together, and a few people were in heavy make up and costume you wouldnât even know who they were even if they knew you. You made your way to the snack table and nibbled on some hors d'oeuvres smiling as Franky was handing Soda to everyone.
He smiled at you recognizing your face and complimenting you on your costume as he was dressed in a schoolgirl uniform. You couldnât help but chuckle at his costume as he showed off to you what âSchool Girlâ would look and act like.
âAre you having fun?â he questioned you after a bit of short conversation.
âHmm Yeah,â you answered, âLuffy knows too many people though,â You commented watching Vivi walking in as middle eastern princess. It was fitting for the blue haired woman as she greeted Nami, and both of the girls disappeared into the kitchen. âI feel you guys invited the whole campus,â you half joked.
âWe might have,â Franky answered, âLuffy gave invitation to everyone even a few professors,â
Your eyes widen at the thought of a few strict professors coming into a college party dressed up in costume and walking around the drunken college students that they would have to lecture the next day. You glanced around quickly at the room full of people recognizing a few professors in the crowd. Smoker dressed in military outfit glaring at the students who walked past him and lecturing a few underage students. Benn was dressed as snipper as he was surrounded by a female student chatting with him and so on.
âI see,â You finally answered before walking away to another corner as you wanted to play your game again and see who recognized. You waved to Franky before walking to another corner finding Ussop recounting tales of his adventures in college.
You smiled taking a seat, finding comfort in the loud thumping music and watching the crowd go by, before a mysterious stranger sat by you.
Who would it be?

đ đ đ Ch6: The Battle of Claw Island The character's order sends them on a mission that leads them to discover that Lion's Arch is Zhaitan's next target. The character and the mentor leave for Claw Island to defend it, but the fortress is lost. From there, the order sends the character and Trahearne to gain an ally for retaking the island fortress. Each order has the choice between two potential allies:
Priory characters can make use of stolen dredge weaponry or get help from Carys and Tegwen.
Order of Whispers characters must decide whether to use a weapon made from Professor Gorr's research or to enlist the help of Benn Tenstrikes and his mercenaries.
Vigil characters chose either Fibharr or the competitive Charr: Snarl and Galina.
After bolstering the pact, Trahearne suggests visiting the Pale Tree to get her advice. She offers a vision of the future, taking the character and Trahearne to Orr. After returning from the vision, the pale tree gives the sword Caladbolg to Trahearne.
This sequence ends with defense of the character's order's headquarters, the creation of the unified Pact with Trahearne as its military commander, and the retaking of Claw Island.

"Open to Debate" Podcast: Should Ukraine Get Russiaâs Frozen Assets? -- Virtual Debate Taping September 19
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2638e235c9269407d83e5800402c97fa/1225cc184cb88345-25/s500x750/cb9b280e6ee6f190671e5c4313f6f2cc73120127.jpg)
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, economic sanctions were imposed on Russia by multiple countries, including the US and the EU. These sanctions targeted Russian individuals and entities, along with finance, aerospace, and other industry sectors. Consequently, certain assets located abroad were frozen and rendered inaccessible to Russians. Should they go to Ukraine? Those arguing yes say it would serve as a form of restitution for perceived aggressions and annexations, while also compensating for damages and economic disruptions. Those arguing no say it may overstep the bounds of international law and could set a concerning precedent, which would lead to escalated tensions and retaliatory actions.
On September 19, award-winning debate series Open to Debate (formerly known as Intelligence Squared U.S.) will tape a virtual debate on the question: âShould Ukraine Get Russiaâs Frozen Assets?â
Arguing âYESâ is former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers. Arguing âNOâ is Council on Foreign Relations director of international economics Benn Steil. Editorial Board Chair of the Financial Times Gillian Tett serves as guest moderator.
The debate will not be released widely until October 13 via public radio, video and the Open to Debate podcast.
Open to Debate addresses a fundamental problem in America: the extreme polarization of our nation and our politics. We are the nation's only nonpartisan, debate-driven media organization dedicated to bringing multiple viewpoints together for a constructive, balanced, respectful exchange of ideas. Open to Debate is a platform for intellectually curious and open-minded people to engage with others holding opposing views on complex issues. We know debate works to find common ground: On average, 32% of the Open to Debate audience changes their mind on contentious topics after hearing a debate. Thatâs the power of debate done right, and at scale, it can change the direction weâre headed in America. Open to Debate is broadcast as a weekly public radio program, carried on NPR stations including WNYC (#1 in the nation). Open to Debate is made available as a podcast, video series, and digital platform, and records episodes with live audiences nationwide. Visit opentodebate.org to become a member, access an archive of more than 220 debates, and attend live events.Â

Hard Not To Notice
 Requested: đ
ââď¸
Summary: Your roommate decides to take in your Sociology Professor after he gets locked out of his apartment and shenanigans ensue
Authorâs Note: So I did it. I know nobody asked for it, but I wrote Jamie Benn as a Professor as imagined in my dream. It is VERY VERY VERY long, like longer than I intended but I didnât really think it merited a second chapter -- Because I know me and a second chapter wouldâve turned into three and three to five and before you know it, itâs a whole thirty chapters. So, Iâm sorry. You get one exceptionally long, drawn out, hopefully not boring, Jamie Benn imagine. Yeah, thinking back on it, I probably shouldâve split it up -- but itâs too late. ENJOY!
P.S.: YNN stands for Your Nickname
P.P.S.: I have a cold, so I was drinking Hot Toddies and RosÊ, meaning there was alcohol in my system, when I wrote part of this.
Warning: (not super descriptive) smut, fluff, Jamie Benn as a University Professor, such a long chapter.
 masterlist
âIâm going to fail out of University...â you whined, frustrated by the lack of material that your brain was retaining, âIâm such an idiot!â
âRelax!â your roommate, Natasha, said, âyouâre probably thinking too much about Mr. Bennâ
 âOur Prof?â
âYeah,â she nudged, âI bet youâre having all kinds of fantasies about him teaching you a lesson...â
âWhat on Earth are you talking about Natasha?â you countered
âThe guy is hot! And heâs got authority over us? Double hot..â
 âHeâs our Professor...â
âAnd youâre legal, as long as itâs consensual whatâs the big deal?â
 âThe fact that itâs unethical...â
âPfft..â she brushed you off and you rolled your eyes, going back to your notes to try to study for your final exam tomorrow afternoon but you couldnât help thinking about why she thought you were thinking about Mr. Benn
âWhy would you say Iâm thinking about him anyway?â
âSimple.. youâre a virginâ she said matter-of-factly
âNatasha!â you laughed, slight shock in your tone
âWhat? Am I wrong?â she asked and you shook your head shyly, âsee. Listen, itâs fine. Every virgin has someone they fantasize about losing it to and are super obvious about it...â
 âWait, what do you mean?â
âDonât worry, guys are oblivious to literally everything. I hardly doubt heâs noticed. But that doesnât mean I havenâtâ
âHow am I obvious about it then?â
âFor one, your face goes beet red when you see him. Two, you try to avoid conversations about him in case you get a little too invested...â she wandered over to sit beside you, âthree, heâs a hot Professor. Forget being a virgin, anyone with eyes would fantasize about that man...â You noticed her eyes wander to a corner in the room and you could tell that she was thinking about him, so you went back to studying.
âItâs not like he notices us like that anyway,â you finally said, âweâre his students, heâs more.. decent than thatâ
âOh please,â Natasha rebutted, âguys arenât decent. None of them. Theyâre all looking for sex and theyâll drop all their morals and ethics to get itâ
 âDonât be so cynicalâ
âAll Iâm saying is that youâre hot and Iâm hot and we all know heâs hot, so whoâs to say he doesnât see us like that?â
âLetâs just study okay?â you pleaded
âI canât study here... too stuffy,â she giggled, âIâm going to the library...â
âGood luckâ you waved her out
âAnd to you, my loveâ she called back
Jamieâs P.O.V
âI love my job, I love my job, I love my job...â you repeated to yourself as you wrote the copies of the final exam, âI love my job, I -- I hate these stupid exams!â Your whole apartment building seemed to be blaring EDM music that night and you couldnât concentrate, it also didnât help that your roommate brought back what you were almost positive was a Sorority girl and the two of them were fucking like Gorillas.
âHey dude!â your roommate, Lawrence, busted out of his bedroom after hours of not making an appearance, âare we being too loud? Sorry.. but I canât say itâs going to get any quieter if you know what I mean...â
âItâs fine.. I think Iâd be better off at the library tonight anyway,â you admitted, âyou two can be as loud as you want...â Larry smiled in excitement before rushing back to his room and slamming the door. You headed out to your car, making sure you had everything you needed before you drove to the library
âAt least itâll be quietâ you thought to yourself. Once you got to the library, you searched for a table you could spread your papers out on and sat down.
âMr. Benn?â a voice whispered in front of you, forcing you to look up
âNatasha...â you quickly tried to cover your papers from her, âwhat are you doing here?â
âI came to study...â she said, still trying to keep her voice quiet, âwhat are you doing here?â
âLast minute exam stuff...â you confessed
âCouldnât you have done that in your apartment or your office? It wouldâve been way more privateâ
âApartment was too distracting and thereâs more space at one of these tables than at my desk. Iâm a tactile kind of guy. I like to hold the papers in my hands instead of writing everything on a computer, you know..?â
âI get that..â she said and you noticed her bite her lip, âlook if you need somewhere extra quiet, with a lot of space to spread out all of.. this, (Y/N) always manages to keep our apartment silent during finals. Youâre welcome to use it, Iâll just text her and let her knowâ
âThatâs nice of you to offer, Ms. Parker, but I think it might be inappropriateâ
âNonsense. Neither of us will be there. Iâll just give you my key, you go in and do your stuff and then thatâll be that...â You were just about to dismiss the offer again when you heard a loud crash behind you and you caved
âYou know what? I might have to take you up on your offer...â
âGreat, let me just text (YNN) to let her knowâ
 â(YNN)â
âMhmm. Itâs what I always call (Y/N),â Natasha said as she put her phone back in her pocket, âIâll see you tomorrow, Professor.â The words rolled off her tongue like venom and you knew that she would end up getting you in trouble one day.
âSo I may have done a thing...â Natasha texted
âWhat does that mean Nat..? What did you do?â you replied warily
âI ran into our beautiful Professor and he was desperate for some peace and quiet, so I offered up our apartment. Heâs on his way over now...â
 âExcuse you?â
âHe has my key. I told him youâd be out of there...â
 âTasha!â
 â(Y/N)...â
âWhere am I supposed to study?â
âOh hush youâve done enough studying. Come hang out with me and the girls at the barâ
âYou and the girls? You mean the Sorority chicks who canât stand the fact that I exist?â
âDonât be dramatic, they like you. They just havenât had a chance to really get to know you...â
 âMhm...â
 âIâm serious!â
 âFine, what bar?â
 âOâFinniganâsâ
âOf course... Iâll see you in like 10âł
 âLove you bye!â
You rolled your eyes and began rushing around your apartment. You definitely didnât feel like youâd studied enough but the last thing you felt comfortable with was struggling to study while your hunky Professor was in the other room. Just as you went to grab the door handle, you heard the rustling of keys and you knew you were about to come face to face with Mr. Benn.
â(Y/N).. Natasha said you wouldnât be here,â he stammered, âIâm sorryâ
âNo donât be, I was just on my way out, Mr. Bennâ you blushed
âOkay, well donât be out partying too late, youâve got an exam tomorrow...â he smiled, making your face heat up and your stomach flutter
âYou donât have to worry about me...â you said as you turned to leave, squeezing your eyes shut at your ridiculous words. When you got to the bar, you ordered a Vodka soda immediately
âSomeoneâs on edgeâ one of Tashaâs Sorority girls chimed
âNot on edge, just thought Iâd join the party..â
âThatâs my girl!â Tasha yelled, âbut I think we need shots. Lemon Drops, Tequila, Whiskey, Porn Stars!â You knew this would happen. Every night out with Natasha turned into an âIâll drink you under the table and ask for more shotsâ kinda thing which is why you had mastered the art of throwing back shots without actually throwing back shots. After a couple hours, your best friend was almost completely trashed and so were the other girls, so you called two Ăbers -- one to get the girls back to their Sorority house and the other to get you and your drunk roommate home. Getting everyone out of the bar was the biggest struggle but once they were in the respective cars, it was smooth sailing; you just hoped that Mr. Benn had gone home for both yours and Natashaâs sake.
âWell holy shit!â Natasha yelled when you opened the door to find your Sociology Professor doing squats against the wall, an immediate flush of heat ran through your body and you could tell he was caught off guard by Natashaâs words.
âWhat time is it?â he asked
âItâs almost 2 AM,â you answered, âwe thought youâd be gone by now...â
âYeah not working out and looking like a Greek God!â Natasha slurred slightly
âYeah, uhh, sorry. I find that any kind of exercise after long periods of sitting helps me think better but I should be on my way home...â
âNo, no itâs fine. You can, uhm.. you can take my bed. Itâs really too late to leave now and youâre probably tired. Iâll just get this one to bedâ you said, gesturing to Natasha, âand Iâll take the couchâ
âYou donât have to do that, I can sleep on the couchâ
âNo itâs okay, Iâve got shorter legs. Youâll be much comfier on an actual mattress than a makeshift one. And itâs just one night...â
 âIf youâre sure..â
âAbsolutely!â you smiled and helped your friend into her bed, trying to get her to stay quiet. Once you got her to sleep, you were able to grab some extra Pajamas and head over to the couch. You sighed heavily before changing into the comfy set of clothes and grabbing a blanket; falling asleep almost immediately. The next morning, the alarm on your phone rang in your ear and you raced to turn it off before it could wake anyone else up; You had a very particular exam ritual that needed no interruptions. First, wake up at 8 AM. Second, shower with steaming hot water. Third, banana smoothie. Fourth, moisturize. Fifth, pick outfit. Six, brush teeth. Seven, do makeup. Eight, figure out something to do with your pathetic excuse for hair -- always ultimately settling for au naturel; slightly wavy, but mostly straight with an elastic around your wrist in case you needed it off your neck. Nine, get dressed. Ten, cram before the exam. It was almost always a foolproof system. Except this time, your Professor was in your bedroom and you found yourself compelled to be as quiet as possible; especially when step five came into play.
You tried your best to sneak into your bedroom to grab a pair of light wash high-waisted skinny jeans, a loose fitted white v-neck and a lacy black bralette, nearly forgetting to grab underwear and a pair of socks. Once you had everything, you tip-toed to the bathroom to brush your teeth, do a little bit of makeup and start on your hair, looking it over in its wet state as if you were going to do anything other than just leave it down; quickly spraying some heat protectant and brushing it through. You made sure the door was completely closed and locked before you started blow drying, hoping that Mr. Benn was a heavy sleeper. You were surprised by how long your hair was getting. Once it was dry it hit just past the middle of your back and you got a little distracted by the feeling of it sweeping across your skin that you didnât hear Natasha wake up until she tried to open the bathroom door.
âI need to peeâ she whined
âIâm almost done, I just have to get dressed,â you replied, âjust give me like 10 minutesâ
âFive!â she countered and you agreed. You looked yourself over, making sure your outfit was okay; you wouldâve just gone in sweatpants since this was your only final of the day but your Mom had always believed that if you look good, you feel good. Which is why she always wore dresses on flights, even 14 hour ones across multiple time zones. Plus, you had to be prepared for the very real possibility that celebratory âwe finished Sociologyâ drinks would happen after the exam. So, you wore a light top and figure flattering jeans that made your waist look tiny, spraying a few dabs of your favourite perfume behind your ears, on your neck and on your wrists before throwing on white vans for comfort.
Jamieâs P.O.V
âMorning, girlsâ you greeted (Y/N) and Natasha
âMorning Mr. Bennâ Natasha said, popping blackberries in her mouth
âGood Morning,â (Y/N) said with a sweet smile and, for some reason, this was this first time you noticed how different the two really were, âalright! I am off, I think.. Tasha are you coming with me?â
 âHmm?â was Natashaâs only response
âWhy are you leaving so early? The exam isnât until the afternoon..â you asked
âUgh, she does this every examâ Natasha said, rolling her eyes, âshe thinks that she can cram every last molecule of information in before every exam. So sheâs up at like 6 AM getting ready and then is out of the apartment a solid three hours before the room is even readyâ
âThatâs not it exactly...â (Y/N) tried, âI just like to go over my flash cards and make sure Iâm as prepared as possible. That way, at least I know I studied enough and that if I fail then Iâll do better next time...â
âYou ever heard that saying âif you donât know it by now, you just donât know it?ââ Natasha asked snidely and you noticed (Y/N) narrow her eyes at her, making you laugh slightly
âDonât worry, youâll do great!â you tried to reassure her, noticing her straighten her posture, âyouâre one of my best students. Plus, I donât make my exams super difficult...â The smile she gave at your words lit something inside of you that worried you slightly. She was your student, at least for a couple more hours, you shouldnât be feeling this way toward her.
âGood to know,â she said with that same smile on her face, âIâm still gonna head to the library for a bit, just to clear my head a little. Tasha?â
âNah, Iâm good. Iâll stay here with our Professor...â
âOkay, you want me to bring you anything? Coffee, Tea, Croissant?â she giggled and Natasha replied by shaking her head, âMr. Benn?â
âJamie,â you corrected, âI think you can call me by my name after I just spent the night in your b-- apartment...â
âOkay.. Jamie, would you like me to pick you up anything?â
âNo Iâm fine, thank you thoughâ you smiled and she nodded before waving goodbye to you and Natasha.
âGuess itâs just the two of us, Jamieâ she whispered your name and leaned forward, purposefully pushing out her chest
âCall me Mr. Benn, please, Ms. Parker,â you replied, placing her key on the counter, âIâm actually going to get ready myself. I suggest you do the same.â You could tell by the look on her face as you turned away that she had never been rejected before and it confused the hell out of her.
Which actually made you extremely satisfied for some reason.
You were ready. You knew you were. But this was just part of your routine. You always had to cram before you took your final or else youâd only have yourself to blame if it all went horribly, terribly wrong. Though, youâd be lying if you said you werenât trying to get some distance between you and Mr. B-- you and Jamie before the exam started. You were one of the first to get to the classroom, preceded only by Autumn -- the epitome of a Teacherâs Pet. You walked straight to your regular seat, in the front row, and brought out some lined paper, an extra pen and pencil and an eraser, scrolling through Instagram as the rest of the class drifted in and claimed their seats when you saw a post from Natasha -- almost completely naked, with only underwear on and her arm covering her breasts -- and your body filled with anger. You hated when she did this and you knew, even before you read the caption, that she was looking for some kind of approval from somebody, anybody.
@yourfavouriterussianprincess: I think I look pretty good, donât you?
Before you replied, you decided to look through the comments; seeing a flood of, âyouâre beautiful,â âIâd do filthy things to you,â and, the one you always hated to see because it gave her such a huge ego boost, âIâve never seen anyone more beautiful than you.â You rolled your eyes and decided to send her a text
 âWhat the fuck, Natasha?â
 âWhat?â
 âYouâre posting nudes now?â
âIt was tasteful, I was coveredâ
âWhat happened? You said youâd never do that?â
âHe fucking rejected me (YNN), Mr. Benn. Our âclassy, gentlemanlyâ Sociology Prof. Rejected MEâ
âSo you took to Instagram to what? prove him wrong?â
âYes! I needed a bit of validation. Sue me!â Just as her text rang through, he walked through the door and you made eye contact with him, smiling awkwardly and he turned his gaze away from you
âAnd you tagged him in it! are you crazy? you could get him fired!!â
âRelax miss goodie goodie, heâs not gonna get fired. Itâs not like I said anything about him. I just wanted to make sure he saw what he was missing out on...â You were starting to get angry with her. It was like she didnât care that she was putting his career in jeopardy
âWhatever. Are you on your way? The exam starts soon and everyone is pretty much here...â
âDonât worry, Iâm like five minutes outâ
 âSo... see you in 15?â
âHar Har.â You rolled your eyes and put your phone on silent, sitting back in your chair and fidgeting with your pen.
âAlright everyone,â Jamie said, ânow, I know who you all are but unfortunately, itâs exam protocol for you to put your University IDs on your desk. So, if you could please grab those and put them in the left hand corner of your desks. Iâll come grab them and give them to you once youâve handed me your exam...â You leaned down to grab your wallet and you felt like someone was watching you, forcing you to snap back upright in your seat when you noticed Jamie staring at his phone and quickly putting it face down as Natasha came into the room. Shit, you thought to yourself, he saw it and after this exam she wouldnât be his student anymore...
âSorry Iâm late, Professor...â she said in a baby voice as she found her seat
âThatâs fine Ms. Parker, take a seat..â he said, clearing his throat as her eyes never left his, âAlright a few things before we start. I didnât have time to proof-read the exams last night so there might be some typos; if you find any, raise your hand and Iâll come see you. Since all the exams are different, I canât just write the corrections on the board, so itâs easier if I just come to each of you... Okay, you can start.. good luck everyone!â You opened your exam booklet and began reading the questions, listening to everyone frantically circling and scratching out their answers while Mr. Benn came to collect IDs. It wasnât long before half the class was raising their hands to call Jamie to their desk about this typo and that mistake and, while you had the same concerns, you figured it would save everyone a lot of time if you just wrote your corrections on a blank sheet of paper and brought it to him after the exam. You could hear some students getting increasingly frustrated even though they seemed to be whizzing through the exam but you had to stay focused on the papers in front of you. Autumn was one of the first to turn in her exam and she shot you a sarcastic smile which you immediately shook off but when you saw Natasha hand in her exam and glide her hand over Jamieâs arm before sauntering out, you got a flurry of butterflies in your stomach and you forced yourself to take a deep breath. One by one, the class began to empty and you found yourself getting more and more nervous, pushing your hair from one side to the other out of habit; when you looked up to check the time, you saw Jamie staring at you rather intensely and your eyes quickly snapped back to your paper.
You had two questions left on your exam but all you could think about was what he was thinking and why he was looking at you.
Jamieâs P.O.V
When you walked past to collect her ID, the smell of (Y/N)âs perfume permeated the air; leaving you in a bit of a daze. The rest of the students were constantly raising their hands to call you over to correct a question but not (Y/N) and you couldnât help but wonder why; there had to be typos on her exam. You figured youâd let her do whatever she was planning and focus on the students raising their hands. Eventually, there seemed to be a lull and you were able to sit down at your desk, where you were faced with the sexual advances that Natasha was clearly making by tagging you in a provocative Instagram photo.
âHereâs my exam, Mr. Bennâ Autumn smiled, handing her paper to you
âThank you, Autumn,â you replied, giving her back her ID, âhave a good break.â You looked back out to the rest of the class to see if anyone needed help when you noticed (Y/N) biting her lip and tracing her pen along her collarbone and just barely down her cleavage.
Holy fuck you thought to yourself, taking a harsh gulp that you hoped was silent enough for no one to notice but that didnât stop you from imagining what (Y/N)âs lips would taste like and the noises sheâd make as you kissed her neck.
âMr. Benn...â Natasha shook you out of your thoughts, âjust need my ID from you. I hope you liked what you saw today...â she slid her hand over your shoulder and down your arm before you stopped her, making her pout before she sauntered out of the classroom. You noticed (Y/N) take a deep breath and gather her hair to push it to the opposite side of her neck, revealing flushed skin underneath and your mind continued to wander. There was only one other student besides (Y/N) in the classroom and you could tell she was procrastinating.
âYou two finished?â you asked, stepping out from behind your desk just as (Y/N) stood up; almost running into her. Her (Y/E/C) eyes stared widely up at you and you licked your lips in anticipation. What was happening here?
âThanks Mr. Benn! It was a great semester. Have a good summerâ Tanner said as he raced out of the room, grabbing his ID off your desk.
âTake it easy Mr. Brown!â You smiled at (Y/N) who slowly handed you her exam.
âSo.. I had some things I thought Iâd save for after the exam...â she said and you cocked your eyebrow as you sat down at your desk. She leaned beside you, hair falling effortlessly off her shoulder, and started explaining what she had put on the separate sheet of paper but you were too distracted to really pay attention. As she finished, she tucked some hair behind her ear, âI just thought, with everyone raising their hands at once, this was a more effective way of pointing out corrections. Hopefully, it makes sense. I mean I think itâs clear but Iâm the one who wrote it so obviously I w--â she stopped suddenly when she looked at you and you realized that your mouth was gaping slightly
 âWow..â
âOh my gosh..â she said, covering her mouth, laughing lightly, âIâm probably creating so much more work for you. God, Iâm an idiot. I knew it... Iâm so sorryâ just as you were going to talk her down, her phone chimed and all her attention was drawn to it and she started toward the door; you had to stop her.
â(Y/N), waitâ you laid your hand flat against the door, stopping her from leaving, your chest pressed against her back so tightly you could feel her breathing
âMr. Benn...â she whispered, âI have to go now...â You dropped your hand from the door, worrying what it might look like to her and waited to see what she would do. When she chose not to move, you took the chance to run your index finger along the side of her exposed neck, slowly making your way up to her ear before you moved your mouth to her collarbone. You had just barely made contact with her skin when she turned the handle and opened the door, running out before you could stop her. Fuck, you thought to yourself, this wasnât good.
âDid you get this text that Autumn sent out to everyone? Are you going?â
âWhat? Oh yeah, I just saw that.. Sorry, something just kinda.. happened...â
âWhat does that mean? Are you okay?â
âYeah, no Iâm fine. Are you going?â
âTo Autumnâs thing? I mean, itâs at OâFinniganâs. She doesnât have a claim over the pub but I guess if she sees us we can join the table..?â
âYeah, sure. Sounds good. Iâll meet you there...â
 âIs everything okay?â
Was everything okay? Technically, yes. But how do you explain to your best friend that your hot Sociology Professor almost, kinda, sorta kissed your neck? Especially after he rejected her. Do you even tell her? Nothing had happened and itâs not like you had stopped him from doing anything but you couldnât think of where to even start.
âAbsolutely! Iâll be at the pub in like 15 minutes. Where are you?â
âIâll be there in 10.â Sure enough, you met Tasha there and saw Autumn with the rest of the Sociology class right by the bar. It was impossible to avoid them, so the two of you just decided to embrace them.
âShit, I canât believe he showed up!â Natasha pulled you aside, âhow do I look?â
âWho showed up? What are you talking about?â you asked, looking around until you found Jamie at the bar
âI honestly thought heâd be marking exams...â she said, fixing her dress and adjusting her bra to push up her boobs, âseriously, how do I look?â
âUhm.. you look great but are you sure--â you tried but she had already left to walk toward the group. You sighed and followed behind shortly after, trying your best to avoid Jamie because you were still unsure of what happened between the two of you; this would be the only time that you were grateful for Natashaâs need for validation. You headed to the bartender first before even grabbing a seat but after you got your drink, the only seat left was beside Jamie, so you reluctantly made your way to him.
âHi,â he said shyly, âcan we talk?â
âItâs not a gre--â you started before Tasha interrupted
âSo what was with all the typos Teach?â
âI think I was just really distracted last nightâ he confessed
âHopefully we all passedâ someone from the end of the table joked and everyone else laughed. A few hours later, some of your classmates had gone home, others were trying to create a dance floor and you were trying not to drink too much; to prevent yourself from doing anything too stupid. Tanner pulled you to the makeshift dance floor and you danced and laughed until every part of you hurt, running over to the bar to get another drink. You watched as the rest of the group went home and then you searched for Natasha, realizing she must have gone home as well, and you took out your phone to order an Ăber.
âDance with me?â you recognized Jamieâs voice in your ear and you agreed, only because everyone was gone. The song switched to something slow and Jamie took your hand in his, staring into your eyes before speaking, âI wanted to apologize for what happened earlierâ
âHmm..â you hummed, laying your head on his chest
 âI didnât mean to overstep...â
âYou didnât overstep,â you finally said, âI was just a little surprisedâ
âSurprised?â he asked, making you look up at him
âHonestly,â you started, âI didnât think you noticed me like that.. I just thought I was one of your students.â He smiled at you and let your head fall back on his chest
âYouâre hard not to noticeâ he whispered and you pulled your eyes back to meet his, staring intermittently at his lips while his hands gripped your waist tighter to pull you close to him, your chest heaving with want; Jamie leaned in to close the tension that had been there all night, since you left his classroom really, and pressed his soft lips against yours. You hesitantly kissed him back before wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders, feeling the tickle of his beard against your cheek.
âWanna get out of here?â he pulled back, breathless, but kept his forehead against yours. You nodded and he led you out of the bar, getting in one of the cabs already waiting out front. The whole ride to his apartment, you ran your fingers over the lines on his palm; mockingly reading his fortune
âSo this is your money line..â you giggled, âapparently, youâll run into great fortune later in life but until then youâll suffer financial uncertainty..â
 âWhoa.. darkâ he laughed
âAnd this is your life line...â you stroked the line that curved around his thumb, âitâs long. Which is good. That means youâll live like forever!â You smiled and looked up at him through your eyelashes, catching him staring and he smiled back at you
âLet me see yours,â he said, playfully grabbing your hand, âthis line here, is your heart line...â
âHmm..â you hummed with a small smile playing on your lips, âwhat does it say about me?â
âItâs curved, which means youâre... adventurous when it comes to love...â
âWell thatâs just not trueâ you admitted with a bright smile and Jamie looked back at you, capturing your eyes with his, placing both of his hands on either side of your face, stroking your cheek with his thumb; beginning to lean in for a kiss when the driver stopped the car and asked for payment.
You tried to be as quiet as possible when you got into Jamieâs apartment but the alcohol was starting to hit you and you just wanted him. You wanted him to strip you of the fabric covering your skin, you wanted him to press his lips against yours, you wanted him to let his hands roam freely around your body, you wanted him to push his body against yours, you wanted him to make you feel things youâd never felt before.
âLarry?!â Jamie called and you giggled before he pushed you up against the wall, âLarry, you here?â
âWhoâs Larry?â you laughed, running your fingers delicately up and down his forearms, and kicked off your shoes
âMy roommate. I donât want him walking in on us if heâs here...â he said and you nodded once, biting your bottom lip and snaking your hands behind his head while you waited if someone returned his answer. When no one did, you pulled Jamie down to kiss you and you felt his hands move down to your ass where his grip tightened just enough for you to let out a small scream.
âSorry,â you giggled, covering your mouth, âyou surprised me...â He brought his lips back to yours, quickly laying a kiss there before smiling against your lips, picking you up and taking you into his bedroom, kicking the door shut with his foot. You twirled your fingers in his hair while you laid gentle kisses along his jaw until he set you down in front of the bed. You moved your hands up and down his torso, feeling his toned body underneath, as you kissed him deeply and unbuttoned his shirt, pulling the hem out from where it was tucked and moving it off his shoulders. You reveled in his body for a minute before pushing yourself up onto your tip toes to kiss him passionately, your hands slowly caressing his body as they made their way to unbutton his jeans. His hands seemed to stop yours and he pulled his lips from yours; you opened your eyes and caught his just as he knelt before you, his large hands untucking your shirt from your jeans. You looked down at what he was doing as he nipped at your skin and unbuttoned your jeans, tugging at them slightly as he pulled them off, lifting each foot when the denim got to the floor and his eyes found yours as he made his way back up to remove your t-shirt.
âIâve always wondered what you looked like under all these clothes...â he smirked, moving your arms above your head so he could lift your shirt off, leaving you in just your lacy black bralette and black underwear. You instinctively covered your exposed body but Jamie shook his head, peeling your arms away before lifting your chin up so he could lean down to kiss you; deepening the kiss by wrapping his arms around your ass to lift you onto the mattress. He wrapped your legs around his waist to bring you as far back onto the mattress as possible, positioning your lower back on his pillows before stepping off the bed to push off his shoes and remove his jeans. Before too long, he was on top of you again, kissing and nipping at your lips, gripping your body tightly and grinding his hips into yours; you craved more but you werenât sure how honest you should be.
âJam-- Mr. Benn?â you reverted, causing him to stop his kisses, âmaybe we should slow down...â
âWhatâs wrong? Did I hurt you?â his face scrunched in concern and you raised your eyebrows before stroking his cheek
âNo, of course not!â you said, âIâm sorry, I just... think I have to tell you somethingâ
âGo for it...â his eyes bored into yours and you hesitated, hearing Natashaâs voice in your head
âHereâs a tip: guys already know when a girl is a virgin. Itâs something about the way she presents herself in bed... So when you do finally have sex, just donât tell the guy.â
â(Y/N)?â Jamie asked, snapping you out of your head
âIâm a virginâ you finally said, more blunt than you anticipated
âOh...â was Jamieâs only response and immediate regret filled your body, âthatâs okayâ
âI want to keep going...â you admitted, noticing the smile on his face return, âI just couldnât continue if I thought you thought I had.. more experience...â Without missing a beat, he found your lips and pressed his body close to yours, closing the last bit of space between the two of you.
âHmm wait...â he pulled away and you whined at the distance he created, âplease donât call me Mr. Benn..â you smiled at his request before pulling him back to your lips. His hands began to roam your body, slowly making their way down to your core as he nipped at the skin behind your ear and kissed your neck slowly. When his fingers reached into your underwear, one slipped inside you without hesitation and you moaned at the sudden sensation, lightly tugging on Jamieâs hair. You felt him nip at your neck quickly before making his way down to your chest and with each moan you let out, he pumped his finger faster inside of you.
âFuckâ you breathed, making Jamie quicken the pace of his finger before sitting up to adjust his position, falling back onto his shins and bringing you up with him, fingers still curled inside of you.
âTake this off...â he gestured to your bralette with a quick bite on his bottom lip and you removed the fabric quickly, revealing your peaked nipples, Jamieâs mouth moving to cover them just as quickly as his finger moved inside you and you let out a breathless moan; you needed him inside of you. You snaked your hand to the waistband of his briefs and pulled his face back to yours with your free hand to watch his face as you took him in your hand. He scrunched his face at you and you laughed
 âWhat?â
âLean back, let me take care of you...â He laid you back against his pillows, moving the hair out of your face before laying a kiss to your forehead; His hands gripped your hips tightly before pulling your underwear off. You could tell that he was hesitating, so you lined him up with your entrance and drove your hips up; the feeling of him finally inside you practically lifted you of the mattress and you let out a moan that you swore echoed through the entire apartment. His pace was faster than you thought heâd be and you were still trying to adjust to his size while he pumped in and out of you; your face contorting between pleasure and pain until Jamie finally slowed his movements. The slower his pace, the deeper his thrusts and the more pleasurable the experience. As he kissed your neck, you hummed at the feeling, making him nip at your collarbone and increase his speed slightly; a strew of curse words left Jamieâs lips as your hands roamed his body before stationing them just above his ass
âHarder...â you breathed and he obliged, his head falling to rest on your chest as he continued to thrust into you. It wasnât long after that Jamieâs pace became more and more sporadic, letting you know that he was close. You moaned into his ear as you felt his hand travel down your chest to your clit, circling his thumb as he pumped into you
âCum for me, babyâ he whispered in your ear as he continued his ministrations. You arched your back to create more friction and enhance the pleasure and before you knew it, you were seeing stars. Once he finished, he rolled off of you, laying on his side watching your chest rise and fall while you came down from your high; you turned to look at him, smiling and feeling your face flood with heat
âAre you blushing?â he asked, dumbfounded
 âMaybe...â you admitted
 âWhy?â
âI donât know..â you moved the sheet in front of your face to cover your blush
âIâm not your professor anymore...â he said, knowing thatâs probably what you were thinking about, and began tracing shapes on your shoulder
âThatâs probably for the best,â you smiled, turning your head to look at him, âI really hated your class...â You waited for his reaction and he just laughed before pulling you close to tickle you; causing you to laugh loudly
âOh yeah? That a fact?â he asked, tickling you and intermittently kissing your neck
âStop! Stop!â you laughed, telling him you had to get up and he just watched you put on his shirt and saunter out of his room.
Jamieâs P.O.V
(Y/N) made her way back into your bed and you couldnât believe that she hadnât just decided that sheâd made a terrible mistake and that she should leave. Instead, she curled up next to you and you basked in the smell of her perfume that had managed to last through the night. When she caught you staring at her, you could tell that she was a little concerned
 âIs something wrong?â
âNope, why would anything wrong?â you asked
âYouâre staring...â she smiled and tucked her head into your chest
âYouâre beautiful,â you blushed, âI couldnât help but stare.â The two of you laid awake for a while, her fingers roaming over your shoulders and yours tracing down her back, before both of you faded to sleep. The next morning, you woke up to an empty space beside you and you brought your hands to your head, thinking that she finally got sick of you.
âWhatâs wrong?â you heard her voice ring through the air, âhave a bad sleep Professor?â
 âYouâre still here?â
âOf course Iâm still here, weirdo,â she smiled, lifting her glass up to show you, âI just wanted something to drink.â
âCome here...â you lifted up the sheets to guide her back into you. She took a quick sip of her Orange Juice and set the cup on your nightstand before jumping under the covers with you. You kissed her neck quickly and pulled her close to you, ânow what did I say about calling me Professor...â
âNothing...â she giggled, âyou said not to call you Mr. Benn anymore...â
âSneakyâ you said, letting out a laugh. After a bit more teasing, you managed to convince her to stay in bed with you all day. And it was the best day youâd had in a long time.

#askaboutyourcrush You don't see, but I was laughing so loudly that I almost fell off my chair. The professor overheard our conversations at the university and asked what we were discussing so vigorously ... Now he is watching One Piece. How about a headcanons for three of your favorite old men? Love your blog đđ
ahh yay!!
i didn't know what type of headcanons so i just did some random sfw ones đđ
benn, garp, akainu mini sfw headcanons
description: benn, garp, and akainu (separate) mini/a few sfw headcanons
-he likes taking walks with you, whether it be sunset along the sea while the crew happily waits for you snd him to return, or hand in hand through the streets of whatever town the crew is docked in, or just strolling on the deck and eventually settling against bennâs chest while he leans on the railing
-when the water gets a bit rough he waits until heâs done whatever command shanks gave him, but most of the time he doesnât need to do anything because rough water is nothing for them, but benn will go and check on you or if you find him first heâll gesture you over snd keep his hand on the small of your back
- he lets you shave his stubble when it gets a little too long, you sit on the sink or counter while he stands between your legs with his hands on either side of your legs
-youâll fall asleep together in a regular enough position but when you wake up Garp is sprawled across you, sometimes his head ended up at the foot of the bed, sometimes heâs lying horizontally across you, sometimes heâs hugging you to him like a teddy bear and youâre suffocating
-and he drools in his sleep
-in private mostly he really likes feeding you, like insists on it, honestly itâs like heâs feeding a child, those crackers he has are always offered to you like you could be standing side by side listening to some other marine talk and Garp places a cracker in his mouth then lowers another cracker for you to take and the whole time your faces are just o_o cuz itâs so normal
-heâll randomly go up behind you and grab your hips to hoist you onto his shoulders then the two of you just walk around like that while he does his duties as a marine
-if he sees youâve fallen asleep in his office when you come to stay with him, heâll get up and drape his coat over you so you donât get cold
-his fear of someone attacking you to hurt him definitely exists, thatâs why he always waits for you to fall asleep before him, he always has multiple people accompany you somewhere if he canât leave work, if heâs going away for work heâll have a vice admiral check on you while other marines are stationed around you at all times
-he loves holding your hand, itâs one of his favorite forms of physical affection, your hand is just so small compared to his it gets completely enveloped by akainuâs and it gives him a slight sense of peace knowing youâre there (every few minutes heâll give your hand a squeeze and heâd really like it if you squeezed his back

Basically time travel in Ben 10 to my understanding was originally supposed to work 2ish ways
"this is my future unless I do something that changes that" which is why Ben 10,000 was basically a completely different character than he was during classic in ultimate(both Benn 10,000 and present Ben make a comment on this as well) due to Ben removing the Omnitrix in between Alien Force and classic, befriending Kevin as well as him going good, no longer being in possession of the original Omnitrix and Ben changing for the better after his first encountered with Ben 10,000.
"this was my future self and likely won't be any more unless I forget this encounter ever happened" this one is is due to Classic Ben ending up temporarily ending up in Ultimate before the ultimate Kevin Arc, however the only reason why present-day band doesn't remember this encounter was due to Classic Ben forgetting it ever happen thanks to Professor paradox.
However thanks to Omniverse classic future is the only future despite everyone being completely different characters than they were in classic Ben 10,000
OOF.
Yeah no I'm 100% going with the original with Ben and 10,000 being kind of two seperate people from different Timelines instead of a locked future.
Because fuck a locked future. And fuck that locked future especially!

Wedding Date Pt 4 - Tyler Seguin
Type: strangers-enemies-lovers, series
Requested: no
Warnings: swearing
Three weeks. Melissa made it three weeks in Dallas before she ran into any members of the Dallas Stars. Her brain, paranoid as it was, had convinced her it would be Tyler that she ran into. Everyone else she could skate by unnoticed, but not Tyler. Heâd tried to message her on Instagram a few times after the wedding, though he gave up after a couple of weeks when her messages remained short and detached or nonexistent.
It wasnât that she was uninterested; if anything, she was a little too interested in him. She also knew that he wasnât the type to do a relationship, and despite all of her joking that weekend of the wedding Melissa wasnât the type for a hookup. Kirsten was still pissed at her for ghosting him. Actually, pretty much everyone that had seen them together was upset.Â
Melissa strode out of a coffee shop and directly into what felt approximately like a brick wall. Said wall made a small âoofâ noise, like her shoulder had knocked the wind out of it, and she squinted up to see it was a person, not a wall. Most of the team should have still been out of the city; training camp wasnât due to begin for another month or so. Instead of being on vacation like a normal NHLer, however, Jordie Benn was standing in front of her. One of his hands came up to Melissaâs shoulder to steady her as she stumbled backward slightly. âYouâre Melissa. You were in that wedding Segs went to.â It was impressive that he had recognized her from one Instagram post, and Melissa knew that lying to him would get her nowhere.Â
âI am. How the hell do you know who I am?â She hadnât meant to sound so combative, but Jordie just laughed.Â
âSegs hasnât shut up about you for weeks. Plus, he posted those photos.â True. Heâd even tagged her in them, despite her best efforts to convince him not to. Sheâd been deleting follow requests on her private Instagram account ever since. âSegs was under the impression that you live outside DC, but Iâm gonna guess you moved?â He waited for Melissa to nod. Damn, he was good. âCâmon.â Jordie gestured at his car. âIâll bring you to my place to meet my wife. Make a friend your age, and maybe you can get her out of the house on occasion so that I can have baby time without her hovering over me?âÂ
Melissa laughed. She wouldnât normally just follow some random person, but this was Jordie. Tyler had talked about him that night he word-vomited and made her coffee, and he sounded like her kind of people. Plus, itâs hard to resist a bear of a man talking about wanting one-on-one time with his baby. âLead the way, then. Iâll never say no to friends and babies.âÂ
He led her to an SUV that didnât fit what Melissa expected him to drive at all. Sheâd almost expected a jacked-up truck or a Jeep. âHe hasnât shut up about you, you know.â Melissa fumbled with her seat belt when Jordie spoke again. Sure, heâd been messaging her, but she hadnât expected him to talk about her with his friends. Melissa didnât respond, and the pair fell silent as they drove to the outskirts of the city.Â
The outside of the Benn house looked cozy, mostly natural woods and an all-American type front yard. Melissa felt a jolt of nerves as Jordie pulled into the driveway, like it had finally hit her that she let some random stranger drive her to his house without a second thought. It was probably the dumbest thing sheâd ever done. âHey. I promise you and Jess will get along. And everybody loves babies, yeah?â He sounded like the older brother sheâd never had, and his voice was more reassuring than she expected.Â
Jordie led Melissa inside, calling out a quiet âbabe?â as he shut the front door. They walked down a long hallway into the kitchen, where a woman was shuffling coffee and a baby. âJess, I brought a friend of Segsâ home with me. Melissa just moved to the city, needs some female friends.â It was a little embarrassing to hear Jordie lay it all out there like that, but he was right. Melissa had been in the city for almost a month now, and sheâd yet to meet anyone outside of the other professors in her department. Introversion a million, Melissa zero.Â
âItâs nice to meet you, Melissa. Iâm Jess and this,â she bounced the baby on her hip slightly, âis Billie.â Billie made grabby hands at Melissa, and she laughed. Jess put out her other hand for Melissa to shake, and she gripped the other womanâs hand gratefully. Jordie slung an arm around Jessâ waist, pulling her in so he could plant a kiss on her forehead. Melissa made faces at Billie while Jordie whispered in his wifeâs ear, and Jess nodded. âYou up for burgers and drinks?â she asked. âWeâve moved Billie completely to baby food, so I can actually consume more than one drink a day now.â Melissa nodded in agreement. It would be stupid to pass up such a good opportunity to make a new friend. And one with a cute baby, no less.
They made their way out to the patio, when Jordie turned on the grill and Jess handed Billie over to Melissa. âSo,â the other woman said with a smirk, âyou and Tyler?â Melissa groaned. Not even ten minutes. She looked over at Jordie for help, practically begging him with her eyes to step in, but he leaned back against the railing of the patio like he wanted to know as well.
Melissa turned her gaze down to Billie and ran her fingers through the babyâs hair. âMy best friend Kirsten is his cousin. She got it into her head that Tyler and I both needed a good person to be in a relationship, and that meant we should be in a relationship with each other. She spent most of her wedding weekend trying to set us up, and that included putting us in the same hotel suite.â Jordie groaned in sympathy, muttering something about Tyler as a roommate. âWe got along really really well, actually. It was fun to talk to him. He made me laugh harder than any guy has been able to in a long time.â She smiled down at Billie gently. âThe night of the wedding he got me to dance with him, and then we went back to the hotel suite. We hooked up, it was awkward the next morning, and then I kinda ghosted him.â That was where it all went wrong, really. It was a pretty asshole thing on her part, and she knew it.Â
She didnât get a chance to continue before Jordie was stepping in. âHe doesnât even know youâre in the city, and heâd been talking about how much he wants to see you again. He talked about trying to get you to see him when the team plays in DC this season.â Melissaâs stomach dropped. She didnât see the judgement in either Bennâs faces when she looked up at them, though Jordieâs face still made her feel bad. He looked almost disappointed in her, and it hurt a surprising amount for someone she had literally just met. âHe really liked you too.â Melissa didnât have anything to say to that, and Jess quickly changed the subject.
It was nice to just sit and talk with Jess and Jordie, especially as the conversation moved to how theyâd met and stories about Jordieâs career. Hours passed as they sat there and talked, and Melissa and Jess managed to work through a bottle and a half of white wine together. For once she was relaxing and just enjoying the flow of conversation without the crutch of a familiar face alongside her.Â
She was still holding Billie when Tyler appeared. Billie giggled sleepily on Melissaâs shoulder as she swayed along to the country song playing softly on the patio, though Melissa froze when she saw Tyler staring at her in the doorway. âTyler,â she breathed. Her words broke the spell that held him in place, and Tyler strode back into the house without a word. âShit.â Melissa handed Billie back to Jessie and took off in Tylerâs direction. She could hear Jordie arguing with Tyler near the front door, and then a thud as Tyler threw the door open.Â
Jordie stared at Melissa as she ran past him and out the front door. She threw an apology at the larger man over her shoulder, though she didnât stop. Tyler was almost at his car. âTyler!â He didnât stop. If anything, it looked like he sped up. âTy, stop.â He froze at the sound of his nickname. Melissaâs breath came out slightly ragged when she finally reached him, taking in the set of his shoulders and the way the muscles in his neck clenched. âIâm sorry.â
Of all the things she could have said in that moment, it seemed like those were the worst words she could have chosen. âOh, youâre sorry?â Tyler whipped his head around. His eyes were angry, but there was more there. Frustration? Embarrassment? She couldnât place it. What are you sorry for, exactly? Sorry that you hooked up with me? Sorry that you ghosted me?â He gestured shortly at the house, where Jordie was standing outside with his arms crossed. âSorry that you showed up at my friendâs house after ignoring me for weeks, acting like nothing happened? Sorry for what, Melissa?â He was breathing heavily, arms spread out on either side of his body, and the guy standing in front of her was nothing like the Tyler sheâd seen on television or the one that had made her laugh so much over that weekend.Â
She didnât get a chance to say anything else. âI really donât want to talk to you right now.â Tyler jumped into his car and slammed the door shut before Melissa even got a chance to open her mouth.Â
âYou deserved that, you know.â Jordieâs voice sounded from beside Melissa. âIâm sure thatâs not what you want to hear, but you do.â Melissa looked over at the larger man to see him staring down at her with something akin to sympathy. âDoesnât mean I wonât help you fix it though. Youâve got friends in Jessi and I now, and Segs is one of my best buddies. Weâll help you work it out, if thatâs what you want.â Was that what she wanted? Tyler leaving her alone had been the goal, or at least sheâd thought it was, so why did him leaving bother her so much?
Jordie put a hand on Melissaâs shoulder when she nodded. âAlrighty then. Weâll start tomorrow. Iâm hosting a barbeque, and Segs will be there. For now, letâs get you home, yeah?âÂ

Throughout, very clearly shot with no obstructions, in a mixture of wides and closes, following the action well. I think it's shot from the front of the circle. Once or twice the camera falls but never during key moments, and is quickly fixed. No long blackouts. Audience energy is great. Virtually no dropouts, obstructions and spotlight washout. Filmed more centre than the preview recording by the same master; mix of wides, mediums and some closeups; very good capture of the sets and actor choreography. Both are worth watching. Action is followed well with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The first minute of the show is missing, and the next few minutes are a bit shaky with scattered blackouts, but after "The King of Broadway" it settles and the majority of the show is captured nicely. SPOILER: Before "Keep It Gay" started, when Roger says "What's the word?" someone from the audience shouted out "Gay" which sent the cast into a laughing fit. The Prom - Broadway - August 11, 2019 (Matinee) (Closing Night) (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Genet (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), Josh Lamon (Sheldon Saperstein), Becca Lee (Kaylee), Kalyn West (Shelby), Teddy Toye (Nick), Josh Franklin (Motel Clerk), Drew Redington (Kevin), Courtney Balan (Olivia Keating), Anthony Norman, Brittany Conigatti, Fernell Hogan, Jack Sippel, Jerusha Cavazos, Joomin Hwang, Mary Antonini, Shelby Finnie, Sheldon Henry, Vasthy Mompoint NOTES: Gift upon request. Unobstructed closing performance with the full cast! Starts in the beginning of "Changing Lives" and is a little washed out. For whatever reason my camera was mad at me and didn't want to focus in the beginning of Act One. It warmed up and got better, and to be honest I opted for wider shots because everyone was doing crazy things and I didn't want to miss anything. I stood up for all but one of the standing ovations and when I did so I have no idea what my camera did or what it was looking at. I would say sorry but it wouldn't be true. I'm just so damn proud of all of these people. Please do not post this bootleg publicly! The Prom - Broadway - February, 2019 (NYCG8R's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Josh Lamon (u/s Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Genet (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), David Josefsberg (u/s Sheldon Saperstein) NOTES: Excellent capture! Josh mistakenly mentions Alyssa in 'Tonight Belongs to You' despite not being meant to know her name at this point. The last three minutes of the show are from a different performance, during previews, with Brooks Ashmanskas as Barry and Josh Lamon as Sheldon, but it is a full video in total. The Prom - Broadway - March, 2019 (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Gabi Campo (u/s Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Isabelle McCalla (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Michael Potts (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Courtenay Collins (Mrs. Greene), David Josefsberg (u/s Sheldon Saperstein), Becca Lee (Kaylee), Susie Carroll (s/w Shelby), Teddy Toye (Nick), Drew Redington (Kevin), Courtney Balan (Olivia Keating) NOTES: This video starts at "Dance With You" and is super focused on Gabi. There are less heads in this than most of my videos and a railing that gets in the way occasionally, but they were mostly worked around. The cast as a whole is doing top notch work, though at times you can tell that Brooks and Izzy are just back from being sick. Overall this is a really great video of one of my favorite shows, and I'm really proud of myself for containing my crying at the end of act one. The Prom - Pre-Broadway / Atlanta - September 17, 2016 (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Caitlin Kinnunen (Emma Nolan), Brooks Ashmanskas (Barry Glickman), Anna Grace Barlow (Alyssa Greene), Beth Leavel (Dee Dee Allen), Christopher Sieber (Trent Oliver), Martin Moran (Mr. Hawkins), Angie Schworer (Angie), Josh Lamon (Sheldon Saperstein) NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the Pre-Broadway tryout. A really touching and funny new musical, led by a hilarious cast of Broadway veterans. A perfect mix of comedy and drama.

Reference:Â âSARS-CoV-2 elicits robust adaptive immune responses regardless of disease severityâ, The Lancet, juni 2021
3. Sundhedsstyrelsen placerer Covid-19 pü liste over dødelige sygdomme, trods dødelighed pü sølle 0.1%
The Lancet (juni 2021): âSARS-CoV-2 elicits robust adaptive immune responses regardless of disease severityâÂ
Allan Randrup fortĂŚller, at Coronapas bør bevares,Â

âMadeleine Holden, âThe Trouble with Epigenetics, the Trendy Topic of âInherited Traumaââ
The supernatural presence that haunts 124 Bluestone Road outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, should not be understood as a version of the supernatural presence that haunts Whitley Strieber's cabin in upstate New York. At the same time, however, it is a striking fact about Beloved that it presents itself as a ghost story, that its account of the past takes the form of an encounter with a ghost, a ghost who is, as Valerie Smith has said, âthe story of the past embodied.â And if one way to regard this ghost is (along the lines Iâve just suggested) as a figure for the way in which race can make the past present, another way to regard the ghost is as the figure for a certain anxiety about the very idea of race that is being called upon to perform this function. For while races are, no doubt, more real than âvisitors,â it isn't quite clear how much more or in what ways they are more real. To what extent, for example, are the races we believe in biological entities? Nothing is more common in American intellectual life today than the denial that racial identity is a biological phenomenon and the denunciation of such a biologism as racial essentialism. The race that antiessentialists believe in is a historical entity, not a biological one. In racial antiessentialism, the effort to imagine an identity that will connect people through history is replaced by the effort to imagine a history that will give people an identity.
If, then, we must not see the ghost in Beloved as a real (albeit biologically exotic) entity (like a visitor), we should not see her either as a figure for a real (and also biologically exotic) entity (like a race). She is a figure instead for a process, for history itself; Beloved is, in this respect, not only a historical but a historicist novel. It is historical in that it's about the historical past; itâs historicist in thatâsetting out to remember âthe disrememberedââit redescribes something we have never known as something we have forgotten and thus makes the historical past a part of our own experience. Itâs no accident that the year in which Communion and Beloved were published (1987) is also the year in which the University of California Press series The New Historicism was inaugurated or that the year in which Beloved won the Pulitzer Prize (1988) was the year in which Shakespearean Negotiationsâwritten by the editor of The New Historicism and beginning with the author's announcement of his âdesire to speak with the deadââwas also published. The ghost story, the story in which the dead speak, either like Beloved in a voice that's âlow and roughâ or like Shakespeare through âtextual traces,â is the privileged form of the new historicism.
If, in other words, the minimal condition of the historianâs activity is an interest in the past as an object of study, Stephen Greenblattâs account of the origins of his vocation (âI began with the desire to speak with the deadâ) and of the nature of that vocation (âliterature professors are salaried, middle-class shamansâ) both insist on a relation to the past (he calls it a âlinkâ) that goes beyond that minimal condition, and beyond also (itâs this going beyond that the model of the shaman is meant to indicate) various standard accounts of the continuity between past and present. Greenblatt is not, that is, interested in the kind of continuity offered by the claim that events in the past have caused conditions in the present or in the kind of continuity imagined in the idea that the past is enough like the present that we might learn from the past things that are useful in the present. Indeed, the interest proclaimed here has almost nothing to do with taking the past as an object of knowledgeâwhat he wants is to speak with the dead, âto re-create a conversation with them,â not to find out or explain what they did. And although he himself proclaims this ambition a failed one, from the standpoint of the heightened continuity that the new historicism requires, the terms of failure are even more satisfying than success would be: âEven when I came to understand that in my most intense moments of straining to listen all I could hear was my own voice, even then I did not abandon my desire. It was true that I could hear only my own voice, but my own voice was the voice of the dead.â If what you want is a âlinkâ with the dead that is better achieved by speaking with them than by studying them (which is achieved, that is to say, by understanding studying them as a way of speaking with them), then the discovery that what one hears when one hears the dead speak is actually the sound of one's âown voiceâ can't really count as a disappointment. âMy own voice was the voice of the deadâ; the link envisioned in conversation is only made stronger by the discovery that the conversation is with oneself. Continuity is turned into identity.
