It's the 20th anniversary of the PGSM Final Act Air Date in Japan! 🎉

PGSM Final Act aired on Sep 25, 2004 in Japan! Given the timezone difference, I've queued this to publish Sep 24, 2024 my time instead.

To celebrate, here's a re-upload of the transparent art I did 2 years ago in better quality thanks to Tumblr's site updates! Click on the picture for some surprises! Additionally, please have a Final Act Rei and Minako reunion hug that we were unjustly robbed of after the trauma of Act 47. 👍 It's not my best work since I had to rush to finish it, but I just had to get it out for the anniversary! Rei and Minako's story deserved a better conclusion!!!!

Now there are 2 last WIP that I need to finish for the Special Act anniversary...

consider... princess sailor moon and seiya. seiya seeing the person he loves become so violent and destructive and having an internal conflict. on one hand, that's usagi, her odango head. on the other hand, she could also be a force of destruction. the other starlights want to take her down. but seiya simply can't. this is still usagi tsukino, the person they love, the person who's late to school and can light up an entire room with her smile. seiya decides in the end, that's still usagi and they'll always be by her side and believe in her. because in the end, usagi would always come out on the other side.

In PGSM (the live-action series), Princess Sailor Moon is a form created when the spirit of Princess Serenity possess the regular Sailor Moon.

In this canon, Princess Serenity is actually pretty scary. She is the one who destroyed the Moon Kingdom in her grief over her lover Endymion's death (in the manga, she commits suicide in her grief but doesn't harm anyone else), and her restless spirit is still full of bitterness and rage in the present day. She is utterly ruthless in her objective to reunite with Endymion (now Mamoru Chiba).

In fact, Princess Sailor Moon is actually the ultimate antagonist of PGSM, not Queen Beryl or the Dark Kingdom in general. It's definitely an extremely interesting take on Princess Serenity. PGSM is known for being really creative with characterization in general and not being afraid to deviate from established canon.
