Hey y’all! Been a little bit since I posted.

Life has been busy, but I’m hoping to become more active again.

With Pride Month not too far away, I’m gearing up for some fun with it! I am a writer and a fiber artist. With that in mind, I’d love to be able to celebrate Pride and share some of that creativity!

If you would be interested in a crochet amigurumi plushie either with subtle pride or loud and proud pride colors, engage with my post a bit!

I’d love to hear what you all would think regarding which animals would best represent the queer community’s identity!

For example, I’m currently working on an asexual crochet hedgehog with an in between subtle and loud and proud design.

idk who needs to hear this but if you knit or crochet you do not need to stress about it all of the time. that defeats the purpose of having a hobby. yes sometimes i do projects that require learning new stitches and making several runs to the craft store and searching for a specific brand of yarn and counting stitches and recounting stitches. but i also have a blanket that i call my "idgaf blanket" and it's literally just a giant gloriously repetitive chain stitch blanket made of a conglomeration of whatever yarn i happen to have scraps of. my rules are no undoing for dropped stitches, no overthinking color patterns. for just this one project, i simply crochet it because i like the feeling of crocheting. sometimes i just need to work on my idgaf blanket and that's okay and when it's done i'm sure i'll appreciate it a lot more simply because it never gave me anxiety

Did I ever post pictures of all the pride flag variant kippot? I started of making the custom flags so I could get pictures and there were SO MANY and I LOVE that for us. Yes, we all stand under the rainbow, yes all non-cis genders are included under the trans pride flag, but also! It! Is! So! Good! To be seen for who you are and to have a way to identify people whose lived experience is close to your own. That's so good! It's so validating!

I MADE THIS!!! 😭 baby's first ever crocheted cardigan!!

i saw a picture of a trans flag cardigan and fell in love with it but there was no pattern and the maker wasn't selling anymore, so i basically decided to reverse engineer it from the picture, no pattern, just me vs god and BABY I DID IT
