I forgot to post this before lol.

S.O.S Resurrection released last month. I was very happy that day. S.O.S has always been my favorite HOAA song,so having a remake of it whose quality equals recent DAGames/IRIS material is not only kind of a mini-dream come true but also puts a smile on my face. My baby has grown up to be a man. It makes me even more excited for HOAA: Resurrection and shows how far Will's music has evolved since 2018 (and that maybe,really,this remake album makes more sense to come out now than in 2019). I ended up doing it at the time. A test that turned into something more complete, so to speak.

First it was an exercise to practice drawing skeletons,more specifically, skulls. Trying to draw them less cartoonish,a little bit more realistic,and at the same time, make them expressive. I want to draw more Post-Explosion Goliath,and for that,I'll have to practice more on drawing skeletons.

Second was testing an interpretation of Goliath without the visor,specifically,with the IRIS embedded in his right eye. Despite knowing this information for 3 years, I don't think we've ever seen the Goliath without the visor before. I'm sure Will will show this image one day, but in the meantime, I wanted to try my rendition of this look.

In the end, I ended up choosing to use the skull exercise and make it something more complete. Which was the end result. I decided to play around with the colors and try to replicate the lyric video aesthetic. I think it turned out nice. 👍

And overall, this drawing turned out nice. I hope I can do a few more drawings with this guy before Resurrection comes out. (but I don't promise anything, tho)

Hear me out:

A Precure Au (For any or all seasons) in Which the public assumes they aren’t human.

They don’t know what these girls are, Fae, Changeling, Eldritch Horror, or something else, but you cannot tell me that these girls that look enchanting and could level buildings are anything remotely human.

Just give me a public that is Scared of Precures. Give me people leaving offerings not knowing what they want. Give me people confused at why the Precures are saving them. Give me people trying their best not to anger these beings. Give me people trying to investigate while their loved ones fear for them. Give me the Precures hearing how scared people are of them and not knowing what to do. Give me 14 year olds sad that their own family are scared of them, unable to tell their family it’s just them, it’s just your daughter who would never hurt you.

Or in the seasons where they’re less public, give me rumors about Fae nearby. Give me mandatory curfews set due to fear of weird sightings. Give me the Precures being essentially ghost stories haunting the town. Give me people comparing stories of glimpses of magical women, wondering why. Give me false accounts confusing the Precure. Give me fun ghost story nights in which people are making the Precure out to be scary beings, to the Precure. Give me horrible conspiracy theories about the Precure.

Give me a public that doesn’t know what the Precure are, but greatly fear their saviors, unknowing of the fact that they are afraid of a group of children who are full of love and care for the people and world around them.

wanted to start sharing some of my playlists cause they're getting to a point in pretty happy w them so I wanna start off with my one for the strawhats!

as the title suggests its still a huge work in progress but since it's also my only chronological/one you have to listen in order I also wanted to explain it a bit!

the first and second song from the opla ost are mainly to 'set the scene' so to speak, opening with 'my sails are set' which is set around post-arlong park which I feel perfectly captures the melancholy but also hopefullness nami (and almost all strawhats) was feeling about their past circumstances and joining Luffy. she is also the driving force of the ap arc which is the first major arc and what jumpstarts the rest of the plot.

'welcome to the grand line' moves both the story along to them being in the grand line aswell as establishing a more upbeat tone which is important for the next song.

now THIS IS where I start geeking out, for those who don't know, The Mechanisms are a steampunk concept band! following the story of a crew of immortal space pirates, each album having it's own storyline to it. 'our boy jack' is a revolutionary song against a corrupt monarch/government which I think first the alabasta/enies lobby saga so we'll. 'Jack' being Luffy and the song being from Zoro's POV. the references to fighting giants (little garden) being hunted (baroque works) drinking and sacrifice (dammit zoro) and having utter unwavering faith in the protagonist is just. so good to me. listen to The mechs, they're so good 😭.

'im going to be king of the pirates' is just another progression song tbh. I though it fit ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

these next three songs I put to represent the timeskip, 'get the band togeather' being the crew departing back to sabody/generally referencing how they were all doing their own thing for those two years but are now back with Luffy! 'planetary (GO!)' basically just being a high energy song hyping up their new adventures.

'wealth fame and power' title-wise carrying that same energy (and also another transitional song because the next one is just. such a huge tone shift)

now this one. THIS is the one I was most exited to add, if you don't listen to any other song PLEASE listen to this one. it's so dear to my heart I love it. 'Steamboat Shenanigans' is by another steampunk concept (/pantomime!!!) band I like called Steam Powered Giraffe. the scenario I imagine behind this is just, a purely domestic day on the thousand sunny. maybe a bit more Franky and Brook focused since the two main running motifs are music and the boat(/robotics behind it) itself. GOD it's just, such a fun song. makes you wanna smile and dance, I love it.

Okay, so I saw a thing mentioning how you could wag your butt as if you have a tail to kinda mimic the feeling and that's so smart!! For me, unless I'm super super super happy, wagging my butt is usually just a shaking-water-off-my-fur motion T-T Like, I've been feeling a tail behind me pretty consistently for years now, and when I'm really happy it wags and the feeling gets stronger, but wagging for me is an exclusively tail motion. There's no physical signs because just it's moving (and that's part of why wearing a tail feels weird for me, cause mine will be wagging but since I don't move my butt the tail doesn't move with me T-T ). But I might try that sometime to let my friends know my tail is wagging :3

Matt's grey suit? CHECK i love his suits leave me alone BUT I also love the little touch here like the WAY he's holding his cane, I've seen him hold it like this sometimes. My theory is it's when he's comfortable while moving and doesn't need a super tight grip on it cause he has a general idea of what's around or he has a good guide (AND JANE IS HERE SO IT FITS), and I have zero idea if this is the right reasoning, but either way you've got it drawn in here and that was a lovely touch.

I think his suit makes a good contrast to Jane here too which i LOVE, LOOK AT THOSE CONVERSE, hair down and relaxed and casual. As much as we see it in TRT (simply because that's where the plot leads), her getting to relax and just have a fun walk and be casual is not something she gets to do often. She's incredibly professional looking when meeting clients and then she's usually wearing cheaper, easy-to-dirty-up clothes when tracking in case she needs to crawl into down a grate cause half the time she's gotta chuck those clothes out. I genuinely enjoy seeing her like this in art, seeing her relaxed in clothes she might actually ENJOY wearing as opposed to necessity, seeing her happy and just chilling and getting a slice of Something Normal, especially with Matt who's kinda in the same boat (not style wise but just in Happy Normal Things territory).

Also,, what do you think happens to a naiad (or someone of naiad descent) when they stay out of water for too long? Do they get sick? Do they eventually die? Would only water heal them or could something else (eg. eating fish) at least "stabilize" them?

And how would rain affect them? Would they be able to spend more time out of water when it's raining? Or could they maybe even bend the rain to their will? Of course rain comes from the clouds/sky which is not in their domain,, but if the raindrops are low enough, could it work? :0

It's part of the reason why Penelope's smaller and has straight black hair :D As she was born a month early, it caught Periboea by surprise and she just went into the nearest creak :D (probably was mostly alone too)

It was calm at first before suddenly the current got fast and Penelope was swept away. Obviously terrifying. To say the least, some ducks brought her back :P (I really love the duck myth. It's neat and to have Penelope be associated with ducks while Helen is kind of associated with swans itches my brain just right >:D (Swans are bigger than ducks as well. like how I think of Helen and Penelope!) I like the thought of Odysseus "always thanking the ducks" whenever he sees them even while away. He gives them peas to eat and just gets happy when they fly overhead :'D

Penelope is a bit self-conscious about being born from a creek while her mom and most of her other siblings are from the river. (she's also the youngest and smaller.) Penelope was actually really worried about this and even kind of tried to not say that her water broke and was just like "hey, let's go here! No reason! :'D " because she wanted to get to the "better source of water" to give birth to Telemachus.

Odysseus: I can't believe you did that! >:( Penelope: HEy! Me and our son are fine!! The contractions didn't even start yet and we still made it to the river!!! And he'll be so strong, Odysseus! :D

Honestly they'd kind of "dry" out and just... really uncomfortable. I can imagine they kind of shed scales and just feel sick and unwell. Probably if you gave them a glass of water they'd rather dump it over their head :P Would eventually die if they don't get enough :'D If you marry a naiad-born person and don't have what they need, then you're a shit spouse. It is basically common knowledge, even for non-naiad born. Leda, for example, with Tyndarius, makes sure he has his "dips" in the water if she notices it's been a while or that he starts itching his skin. (Odysseus makes damn well sure she has enough water. Not only did he carve her a "nest" as a wedding bed, but he also has a pool with a canal that could go to the caves if she needed that's basically right outside their chamber :D Where she and Telemachus go a lot (especially during the suitors). He thought of EVERYTHING. It's seeing the bed and the pool where she realizes that this man truly loves her and that she loves him as well. She knew before that "she would be happy with him" and did love him but this is where she was hit with "omfg this is like the tales poets sing about. holy shit." )

Oh boy the RAIN >:)

Yes they can do SOOO much with it. It's actually a very joyous and playful time for most naiads and basically, everyone leaves their spots of water to just run around and play and dance. (and Helen and Pollux :P but uh...they do make it "sparky" so they only run around where there's no big body of water.) And it's actually another thing that naiads have over nereids as rain has no salt :P

It also helps with yeah, Helen and Pollux, as when these two get pretty emotional the clouds start to form. Helen likes to mess with people by giving them a "static shock" as it's funny and "minor". And she loves doing it to Penelope as she likes her reactions. When it rains or they're near water, Penelope kind of gets her revenge >:D (They love each other, they're just cousins)
