A while ago, I requested an artist I follow known as @nomorebrad if he could redesign a character I love.
This here is the character.
Tumblr media
His name his Wrench, he is from Power Rangers Dino charge, and I love him sm : )
Now’s here’s Nomorebrad’s redesign!
Tumblr media
Wrench is one of those characters that I love but have little to no fans/ fanart of him, so it was really nice of Nomorebrad to do this for me!
I’m planning to return the favor and draw something for him back once I’m able to! I currently am quite busy with art related matters 😅
I recommend you check them out!

Conversation
Wrench: You can't be in here!
Riley: Chase and I are gay and Shelby is black, so kicking us out would be a hate crime.
Chase: I'm only half-gay, but I think trees are born the same way as babies, so kicking me out would be kinda mean.

GUYS IM FUCKED UP as fuck AS FUCK DRUNK AS FUCK SO HERE IS SOME FUCKINF DRUNK HEADCANONS OF ALLL MY FAVOURITE CHARACTERS gahahagahahaahag
So I have this idea that the Deboss legion is actually a religious cult devoted to Deboss. Or atleats Deboss manipulates his followers into thinking that they are doing a good service. Like my original character Fae is this Ex Knight who was manipulated by Deboss and Chaos into thinking she is just some kind of messia of the deboss legion
Endolf and Dogold act like rivals but after the events of The fall of the deboss legion, Endolf Dogold and Aigaron all move in together and start their own life where they try to make sense of earth and how to live there. It's basically just them working through their cult trauma and re integrating themselves back into normality.

Lost In Time

Tumblr media
The sun dipped low on the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, casting elongated shadows across the war-torn battlefield. An oppressive tension hung thick in the air, almost palpable, as the remaining Power Rangers stood their ground against the city's latest monstrous threat. Your muscles ached with exertion as you fought with every ounce of strength you possessed, yet your mind kept drifting, unbidden, to Ivan—the brave and noble knight of the Dino Charge Rangers, whose presence always seemed to bolster your courage.
"Stay close!" Ivan's voice rang out, steady and commanding as he deftly deflected an attack aimed directly at you. His unwavering determination, evident in every move he made, gave you a renewed surge of strength. Yet today felt markedly different from your previous battles—an ominous feeling knotted in the pit of your stomach, a premonition you couldn't shake no matter how hard you tried to focus on the fight at hand.
As the battle raged on with increasing intensity, your eyes were drawn to Ivan time and time again. His movements were a mesmerizing dance of fluid grace and deadly precision, his fighting style so fierce it sent chills racing down your spine. You marveled at his skill, his dedication, his sheer presence on the battlefield. Then, in a heart-stopping split second that seemed to stretch into eternity, the creature lunged with unexpected speed—and everything changed in the blink of an eye.
"Ivan!" The scream tore from your throat, raw and desperate, as your heart plummeted to your feet. You watched in horror as he staggered backward, a deep, angry gash suddenly visible across his side. Time seemed to freeze, the sounds of battle fading to a dull roar in your ears as Ivan fell to his knees, crimson blood seeping through his fingers as he clutched at the wound. The world around you blurred and faded away, leaving only his pained expression etched into your vision with cruel clarity.
The other Rangers, their own battles momentarily forgotten, rushed to Ivan's side, their faces pale with shock and growing fear. "No! Ivan, stay with us!" Shelby's voice cracked with emotion, her usual cheerfulness replaced by raw panic. The team's unity, always a source of strength, now amplified the shared dread that coursed through you all.
You pushed through the chaos surrounding you, your heart pounding so fiercely you could feel it in your throat. Hot tears blurred your vision as you stumbled and fell to your knees beside Ivan's prone form. "Ivan, please!" you begged, your voice barely above a whisper, thick with emotion. "You can't leave us! We need you... I need you!"
Ivan's gaze found yours, his eyes filled with a complex mix of pain, regret, and an unwavering love that made your heart constrict painfully in your chest. "I... I fought for you all," he gasped, each word a visible struggle as he battled against the encroaching darkness. "For our future," he continued, his voice growing weaker with each passing second. "Promise me… you'll keep fighting. Promise me you won't let this be in vain."
You shook your head vehemently, refusing to accept the reality of what was unfolding before your eyes. "No!" you cried out, gripping his hand tightly in both of yours. "You're going to be okay! We'll get you help, just hold on a little longer! Please, Ivan, you have to fight!"
But even as the words left your lips, you could see the light in his eyes beginning to dim, the warmth of his hand slowly slipping away despite your desperate grip. The moment stretched like an eternity, each second an agonizing reminder of what you were losing. As the cruel realization finally struck home, a heart-wrenching sob escaped your lips, echoing across the now eerily quiet battlefield.
The Rangers gathered around in a tight circle, their faces wet with freely flowing tears. Tyler, always the strong one, clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white, anger and despair warring in his expression. "You can't do this, Ivan!" he shouted, his voice breaking. "Not like this! We need you... the team needs you!"
Ivan's breath grew increasingly shallow, each inhale a visible struggle, but he somehow managed to summon the strength for a weak smile. His gaze swept over each of you, lingering for a moment as if committing your faces to memory. "You all…" he whispered, the words barely audible, "are my family. My home. I believe in you... in all of you. Carry on our mission... protect the world... and remember..."
With those final, fragmented words, Ivan's eyes fluttered closed for the last time. A heavy, suffocating silence fell over the battlefield, broken only by the sound of muffled sobs and ragged breathing. The monster that had caused this immeasurable pain faded from thought, inconsequential in the wake of your overwhelming grief.
You collapsed against Ivan's still form, your heart shattered into a million pieces. "Ivan, please..." you cried, your voice choked and barely recognizable through your sorrow. "Don't leave me... don't leave us. We can't do this without you." But your pleas fell on deaf ears, the finality of the moment settling over you like a heavy shroud.
The other Rangers joined you on the ground, forming a protective circle around their fallen leader and friend. Tears flowed freely as they clung to one another, seeking comfort in their shared anguish. The bond that had been forged in the heat of countless battles now felt like a fragile thread, woven through with shared pain and an acute sense of loss.
As night fell, cloaking the battlefield in shadows, stars began to blink into existence overhead. They shone down with cold indifference, uncaring witnesses to your suffering. Yet in that moment of deepest despair, you made a silent vow to carry Ivan's indomitable spirit with you always. You would fight on, not just for the world, but for him—for his bravery, for his unwavering dedication, and for the love you had shared, however briefly.
Though Ivan was lost to you today, taken far too soon, you knew with unshakeable certainty that his memory would forever light your way, a beacon of hope and courage in even the darkest of times. And in that, at least, a small part of him would live on, continuing to guide and protect the world he had given everything to save.
“From my rotting body, flowers shall grow and I am in them, and that is eternity.” — Edvard Munch

Nobody asked me but I think the main reason Ninja Steel’s writing suffers is complete and utter lack of subtlety
I feel like all Power Rangers shows do this in some capacity, like it is a kids show, fair, but Ninja Steel way over-relies on the crutch of having characters just explain exactly what’s happening out loud
There’s this scene in Dino Charge in the episode When Logic Fails when Riley’s crawling through the vents, and in the room below he sees Fury and Wrench trying to power up the Ptera Charger while the indistinct glowing figure of Ivan is struggling to break free. They don’t undercut the tension of the scene by having Riley be like “Oh, no! It looks like there’s some kind of energy being emerging from Fury!” His reaction feels a lot more subdued and natural. And it is a genuinely tense scene, because it gives you questions that aren’t immediately answered in the next line of dialogue. Riley doesn’t know what the thing inside of Fury is, and neither does the viewer.
Another thing Ninja Steel does that I don’t think Dino Charge really did (at least, not as much) is where the lesson or moral of every single episode is just spelled out word for word in dialogue. Like in the episode where Preston gets his spell book and Princess Viera was like “Whatever you do, do NOT try to learn them out of order” and I was just like “Ohhhh nooooo, I wonder what he’s going to doooooo”
And then at the end he still needs to have it spelled (heh) out to him that you can’t get good at something by cutting corners and that to fix his mistakes he needs to go back and practice all the spells in proper order this time. The interpersonal conflict of most episodes can pretty much be summed up as
Person A: You know, you shouldn’t do X
Person B: Haha sure (does X anyway)
(X has disastrous consequences)
Person B: Person A, you were right. I shouldn’t have done X. I’m sorry.
Or else the lesson-leaner will be like “At first I thought X. But you showed me Y.” Like word for word
Not to use another Dino Charge example (I’m not actually sorry) but like in the episode where Keeper used the tennis balls to demonstrate to Riley how he and Chase are on different paths to the same goal, that was actually a cool moment. And then in the next episode Riley used that exact same metaphor with the marbles to represent Sledge, Poisandra, and Fury, it shows us how he remembered that lesson and how it affected him without it ever being explicitly spelled out.
In the Dino Charge season 1 finale when Tyler is falling out of Sledge’s crashing ship, he’s fully prepared to accept that he’s going down with Sledge, but then when his friends catch him in the Megazord, he’s like “I knew you guys would save me!” And you know what? The other Rangers never find out that he was lying. You’re just left with the implications of that to think through on your own. Subtlety does work in Power Rangers, and I think it’s the thing that elevates it from a dumb cheesy kids show to something that people of all ages can enjoy.

IOTA Reviews: Rocketear
Tumblr media
The Rocketeer is a 1991 Disney movie set in 1930's America where a test pilot gets a jetpack and uses it to fight Nazis and— Wait, what? “Rocketear”? Oh, damn it!
Let's get into the eleventh (chronologically the seventeenth) episode of Miraculous Ladybug's fourth season: Rocketear.
We start off with Carapace and Cat Noir struggling to hold back some T-Rexes brought back to life by a scientist Jurassic Park style. Seriously, they reference the movie in the same scene.
Tumblr media
Why wasn't this the plot of the episode again?
After managing to tame the dinosaurs with a whistle of all things, Ladybug notices something's wrong with Nino after he gives the Turtle Miraculous back to her. Apparently, he's wondering why Rena Rouge (who he knows is Alya) wasn't recruited with him today. Ladybug tells him that he was the only help she needed today. In reality, it's because Alya has adjusted to her new role of supporting Ladybug behind the scenes in her new form, Rena Furtive.
Tumblr media
And I'm not a fan of the new form. I get the camo, but it doesn't really help her blend in when her suit is bright blue. I think it's based off the arctic fox, but that animal is able to camouflage itself because it's fur matches the snowy environment. I'm sure a bright blue jumpsuit won't stand out when she tries to blend in at all. Also, the fact that Alya can just change her hero form gives even less excuses as to why Ladybug's new form is only when she uses her Lucky Charm.
Alya is struggling to keep this a secret from Nino because they don't have a lot of secrets in their relationship. Marinette says she can kind of get it because she had to keep her identity a secret from her friend and has to keep keeping her identity a secret from everyone else. Basically, she's telling Alya to suck it up because this is what being a superhero is.
So the next time she sees Nino, Alya tells him she's no longer Rena Rouge, but not about Rena Furtive, which troubles her. The very next scene shows Alya showing Marinette pictures she took of her new costume and asking her which version looks better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You could always try reviewing Akuma fights. I heard there's one blog that does it when they're not criticizing the famous director Thomas Astruc on social media.
Yeah, in case you can't tell, Alya was only able to rent her brain for a few episodes because she really doesn't seem as understanding about being a superhero as she was in earlier episodes. In episodes like “Optigami” and “Sentibubbler”, we saw Alya use more strategy and show discretion as Rena Rouge, seemingly taking her job more seriously, but then this episode just had to go and piss it all away. I also love how the first time the animators made Alya's skin the same when she's transformed is in a single frame for a joke.
Alya thankfully deletes the picture, but Nino overhears her talking about struggling to find more content for the Ladyblog, and decides to go to the movies with her to help take her mind off things. Nino, in turn, proceeds to give the same reaction to the in-universe Ladybug movie that Astruc gives to the PV.
Tumblr media
Apparently, that movie's already getting a sequel and it has a teaser. So was the sequel animated at the same time as the original like Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III?
Nino gets pissed the next movie in the Ladybug Cinematic Universe will feature Rena Rouge and not Carapace... even though Rena Rouge debuted first. The teaser then shows Rena Rouge falling for Cat Noir (yet another creative liberty taken by the writers or something Astruc's self-insert threw in himself), and takes it like it's the real thing. Dude, the first movie said Ladybug was afraid of cats, and the director yelled at the person it was based on for judging it. He clearly has a hard time distinguishing fiction from reality.
Alya leaves Nino early so she can go on patrol, but Nino sees Cat Noir heading out as well. He then watches a video on the Ladyblog where Alya praises Cat Noir which is totally not Astruc projecting or anything.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't know what your definition of a prince is, Alya, and I honestly don't want to know.
So Nino takes this as evidence that Alya is in love with Cat Noir and decides to tell Adrien, who naturally laughs him off. And just before you think we have an episode where Adrien plays the straight man, Adrien decides to visit Alya because he's afraid he accidentally charmed Alya.
Tumblr media
Yes, because Cat Noir is so charming, girls are just fighting over him, aren't they?
We then cut to a black and white film noir monologue by Nino (dressed like a detective with a fake mustache), who decides to spy on Alya. When Cat Noir asks Alya if she is attracted to him, she naturally laughs him off, though Cat Noir is thankfully a good sport about it, even giving her a hug to apologize. Unfortunately, Nino took this the wrong way.
The next day at school, Nino takes Adrien into his “office” (it's really an excuse to reuse the boiler room setpiece), and shows him the picture of the hug. Adrien says that Alya would never fall for Cat Noir because she's always dedicated to finding out the truth and telling her boyfriend everything. What's Nino's retort?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, several problems with this bit. First of all, why would Nino even tell Adrien any of this? What would it accomplish? Why not say all this to Alya while confronting her about her alleged unfaithfulness? Second, Ladybug didn't give Nino and Alya their Miraculous at the same time until it was an absolute emergency. She outright said in “Hero's Day” that she didn't have time to recruit Nino and Alya separately.
Ladybug: I'm sorry for what I'm about to do. I know I'm revealing your secret identities but I don't have time to find a good excuse to give them to you separately. Rena Rouge and Carapace, I need you both!
Nino and Alya kept their identities secret from each other until then, with Alya even keeping the fact she knew who Carapace was a secret as well. Nino didn't find out because “they don't hide anything from each other” (which I plan to talk about later).
Other than that, I actually liked Adrien in this scene. It was really investing to see him try to justify the whole secret identities rule while Nino blatantly said there was an exception. This is the kind of stuff I wanted to see when it came to Adrien doubting Ladybug, not him destroying things in his anger.
While Nino rants about how Cat Noir “stole” Alya from him, Shadowmoth sends an Akuma his way, turning him into Rocketear.
Tumblr media
And the design he has is just boring. It's just a blue jumpsuit with some black spots that look like teardrops, a teardrop-shaped head and a visor. I think the reason this season's been relying more on past Akumas and using more Sentimonsters is because DQ is terrible at character designs. I mean, compare this suit with Aigraon from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (his Power Rangers counterpart is Wrench from Dino Charge).
Tumblr media
The design does so much more with the teardrop motif, giving him a perpetually miserable face with tear lines going all over his body. Add that to a more diverse color scheme, and you have a much more visually stunning design. And this was created in real life, not rendered on a computer. I'm not sure if this is a budget thing or a laziness thing, but if it's the former, you really need to do better, animators.
The powers are meh, giving Nino the ability to fling explosive tears at enemies. It's a clever idea, and it makes sense he gets a power that parallels Cat Noir's, but I think maybe it would have been more interesting if he couldn't control the tears at all. Like, imagine if he was constantly crying like Blue Diamond, and with every tear he shed, Rocketeer could send it at whoever he felt was causing him misery, mainly Cat Noir, all while serving as a metaphor for people who blame others for their own personal issues. Better yet, make him look like the detective outfit Nino wore for the second act. It would have made him more unpredictable instead of making his tears generic projectile weapons.
Marinette and Alya see the fight and transform into Ladybug and Rena Furtive respectively, the former summoning her Lucky Charm, a projector. Is it just me, or has this been happening with Ladybug a lot recently?
Back to Rocketear, we get a good moment where Cat Noir intentionally lets the Akuma hit him so he can get a chance to resolve things diplomatically. See, this is a moment where Cat Noir's self-sacrificing nature feels heroic and not selfish like when he does it without Ladybug's permission to spite her. Unfortunately, it doesn't really go anywhere as Ladybug shows up and plays the recording Nino took (Alya found his phone earlier), while Rena Furtive uses her Mirage to give the audio to what actually happened that night.
Rena transforms back into Alya and embraces Rocketear, who apologizes to her for his behavior. And then he just... rejects Shadowmoth's power while looking like it wasn't that much effort.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At least when Chloe and Alya did it, we saw them struggling for a little longer. I guess maybe it's because Nino is motivated by his love for Alya, but I think it should have been fleshed out more. So Ladybug purifies the Akuma, gives Nino a Magical Charm, and Cat Noir is still unsure about his feelings for Ladybug at the moment, though they still pound it.
Back in his room, Adrien ponders why Alya and Nino get to know their identities while he and Ladybug can't, but Plagg points out it's because she's the Guardian. It's brief, but I do like seeing Adrien start to doubt Ladybug's judgment, and it looks like it'll foreshadow future episodes. This is a problem I've had since “Hero's Day”, and I'm glad the writers are finally acknowledging this double standard. I just hope they don't end up blaming Marinette for whatever happens later on.
Marinette, of course, apologizes for what happened between Alya and Nino, and I have to say... yeah, no. It's obviously Nino's fault here.
Nino really pushed personal boundaries in this episode, much like Marinette's friends in “Gang of Secrets”. Yes, honesty is a valuable trait, but sometimes, people have secrets they want to keep to themselves. Nino's idea of “not hiding anything from each other” is somewhat controlling, like he's demanding Alya tell him everything whether she wants to or not. The fact that he immediately assumed Alya was cheating on him without giving her freedom to make her own choices doesn't make him look good. Let's be honest, a more realistic outcome would be Alya choosing to break things off with Nino or at least lecture him about how she can do what she wants and keep the secrets she wants. But instead...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's how the episode ends.
Okay, Marinette just said she trusted Alya to make the right decision, but I highly doubt she meant this. Marinette strictly said Alya had to keep Rena Furtive a secret, and now she's telling Nino this despite the risk? The whole reason Marinette and Luka broke up was because Marinette had to keep her secrets from Luka, but now it's okay for Alya to be completely honest? How is this not a double standard?
This episode was just dull, and there’s not even much I can really say about it.. There were a handful of standout moments, and the stuff with Adrien was somewhat compelling, but Nino's behavior was just insufferable and dragged the episode down. The Akuma fight was weak, only lasting about four minutes at most, and while the Lucky Charm was more creative this time, the plot was just frustrating. It's really one of the weaker episodes this season.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch the better Rocketeer.

Ranger Rankings - Power Rangers Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge
Spoiler alert - these two were really great.
Premise - 4.5
The Energems give the team a reason to come together, and to stay together until everything's sorted. We've already had multiple dinosaur themed seasons, but this one really uses dinosaurs as a backdrop even moreso than Dino Thunder did, right up to the very end.
The mythology around the Energems evolves nicely, and it feels like something that's constantly important rather than just relevant when the plot demands it.
The museum setting works really well (although how many people need to work in a café at once?) and the idea of an intergalactic bounty hunter has been played with before, but these seasons really go in on that a bit more.
The only problem I have is that they could have been a little more serialised in the search for the Energems they didn't have, a la Operation Overdrive.
Character Dynamics - 4.5
This season's characters are all so good, I don't even know where to start. Everyone's totally different, and they take a little while to get to know one another and grow into their own. But they're all totally formed characters rather than just bullet point character traits, and they're all believable too.
Everyone has an arc, even people like Kendall who only really comes out of the cave when she needs to yell at people initially, and it doesn't feel like the story's weighted in anyone's favour particularly. Even Tyler, whose quest for his dad feels super-important, doesn't override everyone else's stories.
I just really love these idiots. They're all so good.
Sixth Ranger Arc - 4.5
If we just limit this to Ivan, then it's probably a 3.5 or something. He's great, but he does fade into the background a little every now and then after his initial arc. He gets some fun spotlights though, and I liked the relationship between him and Koda as men out of time.
But this season had the most Rangers ever on a team, so the entire series basically becomes a Sixth Ranger arc, because after Ivan and Phillip (who turn up in quick succession) there's James, Kendall, and Zenowing to take into account, and with each successive Ranger the team grows stronger and has even more interactions to balance.
Phillip's probably the least developed of them all - he has his initial arc of learning not to throw money and things and not to be a pompous ass, but after that he kind of just shows up as needed for Sentai footage. He's a good guy, but he does become a little faceless.
James' plotline takes its time to get going, but I liked his interplay with Tyler a lot. They actually had plausible reasons for him to go off and do his own thing too, I'm glad they took the time to explain his absences.
And Zenowing, who I thought would be daft, was actually a decent addition to the team. He's again totally different to everyone else, and he does have a role to play rather than just standing in the background.
Oh, and Kendall becoming a Ranger and just taking it in her stride and no one questioning her on it at all? Yeah, we like that.
Plot Development - 4
I'm proud of these seasons for having plots that thread through both Dino Charge and Super Dino Charge rather than just closing everything down at the end of one to start something new. Samurai did it too to an extent, whereas Megaforce you could basically cut down the middle. Dino Charge and Super Dino Charge really do feel like evolutions of one another.
The search for the Energems is a good impetus to keep everything going, and it presents good reasons for the villains to keep going after the Rangers specifically so they can take them back, rather than just attacking the Rangers because they're in the way.
If anything, there can sometimes be a few too many one-and-done episodes where the villains JUST go after the Rangers, which stalls the momentum somewhat, but you can't say that the threat doesn't escalate as the plot goes on. Compare where we start with where we end and it's such a huge difference.
Villains - 4.5
I don't think I've had as much fun with villains in a season since Lothor or Dai Shi.
Sledge could easily have become one-dimensional, but his relationships with everyone else on the ship kept him interesting. I never knew whether he was going to yell at Poisandra or kiss her.
Speaking of, Poisandra was hilarious. Again, she could have been far too one note, but they made her interesting in her own right by giving her her own plans, and Curio, while a tad bland, was a good straight man for her plots.
I did get a little bored of Fury by the end, but at least they kept him relevant by having him face off with other generals. It's nice when the good guys get along, but it's better when the bad guys don't. I also really liked Wrench, who wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty even though he was the tech guy.
I do think Dino Super Charge has the better villains though; Heckyl and Snide were a good pair, and Heckyl's eventual face turn was actually a nice surprise. The idea that he wasn't evil at all until the Dark Energem was well handled, and while his redemption arc came right at the last minute, it did feel complete and earned.
I also really liked Lord Arcanon and Singe; they ran the risk of being too little, too late, coming in with only like 8 episodes of a season left, but they had history with the other villains that made them relevant, and Arcanon's overblown sense of self-importance made him fun too.
Overall - 4.40
Hottest Ranger - Oh god, this one's far too hard. It's like a four-way tie between Tyler, Chase, Riley, and Koda, all for different reasons. Stick them in a blender and give me the perfect Ranger.
Notable Episodes:
When Logic Fails - A crystal maze-esque episode which shows off Riley's unique talents.
Wishing For A Hero - The Rangers make wishes that all go terribly, terribly wrong.
Love At First Fight - Mostly for Beauticruel's terrible accent.
Freaky Fightday - Body swap episode? Body swap episode.
Edge Of Extinction/End Of Extinction - World-wide Zord fights! Time travel! A black hole! A happy ending!
I'd also like to mention how good all four holiday specials were. They're all clip shows, but they have such good, fun set-ups that they're not a chore to watch like the holiday specials usually are. Trick Or Trial was especially good.

Many years ago, the Keeper of the energems had 10 disciples: Sledge, his fiancé Poisandra, Curio, Fury, Wrench, Singe, Zenowing, his twin Doomwing, Heckyl and Snide. After crash landing due to one of Arcanon’s henchmen, Guardian made each disciple responsible of one of the hosts of the energem. After bonding with an energem, once the ranger meets one of them they would know who to protect. Each went their own way knowing they would meet again one day.
