Imagine...

I used to imagine the worst when something was coming up and I didn’t know what to expect. I figured it was better to prepare for the worst and not be disappointed, rather than expect the best and be upset if it didn’t happen.

Then I listened to someone much wiser than I. He pointed out that since we can’t predict the future, whatever scenario we’re creating, we’re making it up. In that case, why not visualize what we want to happen? The key is to put that out to the universe, then let it go. We can’t be attached to the outcome.

Sam and Cait are both attending the BAFTAs this Sunday. They were loving, attentive, and hands-on at the BAFTA event last November, looking like the couple we used to see. 

Considering Sam’s “We are together, and we do work together” declaration; their mutual support for their respective marathons; Sam and Eddie watching Cait’s marathon from her bed; Sam’s marathon selfie that he made sure Cait was in; their crazy tweetfest for Sam’s birthday (including his “Love you”), there’s no reason for me to imagine anything less. So here’s what I’m choosing to do:

I’m envisioning them acting like the married couple I believe they are. I’m seeing them arriving in the same car, Sam helping Cait out like the gentleman he is, and then walking the red carpet together openly and proudly with their arms wrapped around each other. I’m envisioning them sitting closely together at their table, as they did at the 2016 Golden Globes where Cait was a nominee.

The stars aligned to bring Sam and Cait together. May those same stars align again to bring them the freedom they deserve.

I have a positive mindset and hope for a good week! I need to manifest some positivity in my life after feeling stressed out about life and internship applications last week! woaaah. so the last few weeks have been a lot. university started, I moved out and into another city, met a lot of new people, made new friends and sooo much more. should I make a separate post about my first experiences at university?

also here’s a pic of the text I was reading for my introduction course for political sciences. it was about the history of democracy and the progress of democratisation and it was actually really interesting! it hasn’t been the longest but so far I’m really enjoying my studies and more importantly my new life🥰

Productivity Challenge

I woke up and now I’m gonna write this post while listening to Taylor Swift! I don’t listen to her often but I quite like the reputation album, it’s dark. I feel better. Mmm, still suprised about that. I was not okay for like several months, it’s weird to be feeling better.  I feel more connected to my inner world and less alone. Let’s go forward.

Day 36 - Monday (5.11.18). This was a slow, beginning of the week, day. I wrote a post here about previous week, did some divination, gave a lesson, wrote a post for a DnD rolegame(we had a little written session that week, a bit of social interaction), we celebrated my mother’s birthday by playing game machines. I like car races! Ahaha.

Day 37 - Tuesday. I went to the library and sighned up! Aaah, it’s great! Why haven’t I thought about that before? Tons of free books, and soon they’ll make a card with wich you can just go to any library in my city. Anyway, I have taken a grammar book for one of my students and one science book for me. Also I gave a lesson, prepared my whiteboard for a week, cleaned tables in my room and did a bit of organising on our messy kitchen. Wrote another DnD post, met with Akira, we’ve watched Little Witch Academia and had an amazing foggy walk, took some pictures too! Watched an episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Day 38 - Wednesday - Prepared lesson plans for my students, gave a lesson, read a book about botany, started a new challenge that I won’t talk about here, hehehe. Yoga, added new plans for November, practiced sketching and singing, meditated, runes.

Day 39 - Thursday - Three lessons, wrote down a dream, watched Supergirl and Deadpool 2(cool movie!), did a challenge thingy, yoga and exercises, talked to a friend on a phone, practiced drawing and  made a drawing of my second DnD character - Zankoku, I was quite pleased with it actually. Read 5 second rule book.

Day 40 - Friday - gave a lesson. Listend to NEVER ENOUGH by KELLY CLARKSON. IT’S AMAZING.

Watched AHS and Grey’s Anatomy, they were good. Met with Akira and we concluded the season of Bleach rolegame! Practiced singing and also did some therapy.

Day 41 - Saturday - Downloaded trancription table, finished reading Raven King and wrote my impressions in Me book, this book actually have impacted me more that I would’ve thought. It really helped me to come back to myself. Practiced sketching, revised witch traits, talked to a friend on a phone, had a therapy session and also did some mental/emotional work on myself that wasn’t related to therapy but was more about connecting with parts of myself and thinking,

Day 42 - Sunday. - rest day! Some archiving, reviewed the week, gave two lessons, devised some strategies for getting that future flat! Stressful! Watched Station 19, read Botany. I’ve also finished this season of Harlots! Aaah, I loove thiiis shoooow.

Half of the challenge (almost) done. hehe. Ah, it’s good, it’s good. I truly feel better. And stronger. Strong enough to live.Don’t know what future brings, but right now I feel good and I’m gonna cherish that. I’m ready to face the future again. Let’s do our best, Shikimori. The sun will rise, Nature will come, Magic awaits, Life is ahead.

I have limited space to lay flowers down in my town so I would need to go to yours or you can pick your flowers from my town’s beach :) $ Starters and saplings are 200bells each and bamboo is 1000bells each $ Depending on how many people ask, you may only be able to take 16 (a pocketful) of flowers at a time. If not many people ask then I’ll let you take a few trips to the station locker too. I’m not expecting bells for flowers, but I wont say no to a tip. If you have extra hybrids I would very much appreciate some as I am having a hard time farming them for some reason, Or a single piece of Amiibo-Exclusive furniture.

Las Ramblas Golf Society Results for w/c 5.11.18

On Monday myself and Lindsay Forbes were up against Bryan Neal and Liz Robertson in the final of the Pairs Match play Competition. What an epic encounter it turned out to be! With the lead going one way and then the other the standard of golf was quite remarkable. On the front nine alone there were seven birdies or nett birdies with Bryan also achieving a nett eagle on the 4th. We stood on the 18th green ‘all square’ and I had a ‘Diego Maradonna’ (a nasty 5 footer) of a putt to win the match. Under the pressure I missed it and so we had to play the hole two more times until there was a final outcome. After nearly five hours of mental exhaustion it all came down to the final putts! On the second time of asking Lindsay and I were relieved to take the title by just one shot! Whilst this drama was being played out the rest of our members took part in a ‘Counter Game’. Top of the shop, with 99 points, were John and Ellen Drakesmith, together with Pete Dunn and Nora Betts. Wednesday saw us compete in the third and final round of the Club championship medal competition (remember best two cards out of three to count). Winner on the day was John Shervell with a nett score of 71. Hats off to John who also took the overall 1st place with a nett total of 142. Second on the day was Hendrick Oldenziel with 74 on countback from Mike Mahony (oddly enough also with 74). Overall, in second place with a very commendable 144 was Pete Dunn who just edged out Brian Staines on 145. Our best gross score winner was Lindsay Forbes with 152 (been quite a week for him)! He might not thank me for mentioning it but after Bryan Neal’s heroics on the 4th on Monday, he carded 18 on it today! (Probably still tired). Mind you, he was followed closely by Alan Douglas with a 13 on the same hole (so what was his excuse?) In the words of Ol’ Blue Eyes ‘That’s Life’. Onto Friday’s ‘Armistice Day’ stableford. Many thanks  to Mick (The Grip) Reeves who, for the ninth year on the trot, and representing The British Legion out here in Spain, donated a number of ‘nearest the hole’ prizes. Of these, Benedicte Kruse came very close to getting a hole in one on the 6th. The final podium was made up of Trevor Pulleyblank  in 1st  place with 36 points, John Drakesmith 2nd with 35 and yours truly managed 3rd place with 34 points. So me and my best friend just finished watching a terrorist episode, we only watched one episode and i already feel like i don’t wanna leave the house its so insane i know you shouldn’t let them win or worry but its so hard not to. its made me think about so much and now that i live in the capital its very much a reality. anyways i think im gunna try get off to be as i have two days off and i wanna make the most of them :) i had a day off the other day and it was so lovely i just walked around london and toke a few phones ill post them soon

Jerusalem Day, Sunday, May 13

certainly there is a sacred atmosphere contained by Jerusalem that reflects upon the promise of a heavenly new Jerusalem and the rebirth of beautiful earth, which starts with the Temple of you and me, our hearts holding the Spirit within and illuminating in patience & kindness, in gentleness and peace. but still, to protect that which we treasure by not allowing fear to intimidate us. for we are free in Love, yet not free to sin. but thankfully grace holds us close as children of Light despite our weaknesses and our mistakes.

JERUSALEM: THEN (1967) AND NOW: PHOTOS FROM THE TEMPLE MOUNT!

In anticipation of upcoming Jerusalem Day (Sunday, May 13), which will mark fifty one years since the Israel Defense Forces liberated the Temple Mount and reunified Jerusalem in the 1967 Six Day War, we will be posting photos taken on the Temple Mount during the capture of the Mount by Israeli paratroopers, and in the hours and days following the the return of Israeli sovereignty to the Temple Mount after 1900 years.

Alongside these photos we will be posting contemporary photos taken over the past year of Jews visiting the Mount and praying at the place of the Holy Temple. Each set of photos tells a story of the return of a people to their most holy site.

The bottom photo shows IDF troops standing beneath the arches, keeping guard over the newly liberated Dome of the Rock.

The top photo shows Jewish worshipers looking through the arches toward the place of the Holy Temple, their hearts filled will prayer.
