In TT Pegasus Au, how do the Marinas react to Rodorio's sudden arrival at the Underwater Temple looking for Poseidon?

This is going to be a long one because I was inspired.

His first thought as he felt the vast cosmos approaching was that his god had finally fully awakened.

What else could it be? He had only felt a similar power when he heard the call of the sea and the ocean transported him to the underwater temple where his scale welcomed him with open arms.

But when the comet of cosmos descended from the heights he could see that whoever this person was, it was not his god.

The man in front of him with wild brown hair and red eyes. Covered in lustrous armour with gold and blue accents, looked nothing like the vessel of his god.

But with this cosmos there was no doubt, the being in front of him was a god. One that must have decided to attack the temple, taking advantage of the fact that Poseidon had not yet awakened.

Had he come to steal his god's armour or to kill as many members of the army as he could?

No matter what his intention, he would not allow it. This being's cosmos did not feel threatening, but they could not allow him to attack. If this being was willing to underestimate them and not kill them immediately he would teach him to not underestimate a Marine general.

He brought his lips to his flute and closed his eyes, giving everything he had to raise his cosmos to the maximum and perform the Dead End Symphony. If he clouded his senses and reduced the intensity of his cosmos he was confident that his fellow generals could kill this being if not at least force him to retreat.

But when he blew his flute nothing happened. The passage of air had been stopped and the immense cosmos of the enemy being hovered over him.

In fear he opened his eyes, the being was now in front of him having stopped his technique by simply blocking the exit hole with a finger.

He tried to call for help with his eyes looking at Sea Dragon but it seemed frozen in place as did the rest of the generals.

‘I am not your enemy child’ The being said, if it weren't because death was in front of him he might have been offended at being called kid.

‘I have just come to have a conversation with my grandfather-’

‘Grandfather?!’ He thought in panic.

‘And killing one of his generals would be a bad calling card. So don't make me kill you and that goes for you too’ The stranger finished looking over his shoulder at the rest of the generals.

‘You can breathe now’ Granted the stranger patting him on the shoulder.

Sorrento collapsed to his knees on the spot, the tinkling of his flute as it hit the floor overshadowed by his hyperventilation.

Without giving him a second glance the man headed for the central sanctuary without anyone trying to stop him.

From here it can go one of two ways:

Rodorio talks to Poseidon who helps him find HAdes but in return wants Rodorio to take his trident with him so that he is also present at his death.

Or:

The stranger stopped halfway up the steps. His immense cosmos that seemed to have calmed down again made the atmosphere oppressive.

‘Is it just you, the seven generals and a handful of soldiers?’ His question was directed at Sea Dragon.

‘That's right, not everyone who received the call has arrived yet.’ Sorrento had to applaud Sea Dragon for being able to find his voice to answer the question.

‘And the Ocean Protectors?’

Sorrento didn't know who these Ocean Protectors were, but he had a bad feeling.

Apparently Sea Dragon did know who they were. ‘They are out, preparing for the awakening of our god and guarding the armies of Athena.

‘’The three of them?’ The stranger looked surprised, the first time his face wasn't an eerie calm that threatened death to anyone who made a false move.

‘Yes, the three’ Sea Dragon confirmed.

That…was the wrong answer

If he had thought this being's cosmos was immense before, now it was as if the universe itself had made its presence known.

Whenever you left your family’s underwater cave, your father would always warn you of the dangers of leaving the safety of your home. It was, of course, something every merperson was warned about: to not travel into the depths of the ocean, or so much as pass the coral reef that bordered the edges of the region.

For every single merperson that disobeyed this rule disappeared without a trace.

You were unsure whether or not that meant they’d died, but it seemed that was the general consensus of the merfolk in your community. Even the king himself decided to create gravesites for those lost to the depths, as a way to commemorate their memory and contributions to the kingdom. What’s more is that the royal family decided to keep guards posted at the edges of the reef in order to prevent anything from coming in, as well as anyone from going out.

Most merfolk heeded these warnings without question – as the pressure of the water would have killed them anyway should they have traversed a little too deep. However, you – always the curious one – wondered what exactly happened to those who did decide to enter the endless blue and swim into the dark. While the others considered them to be foolish individuals, you thought them to be brave, courageous adventurers who wished to know more about what existed beyond the borders of your home.

But, in order to not upset your father – you couldn’t bear being the cause of his misery and grief – you stayed put. Always looking but never acting upon your desires.

And so you performed your usual daily tasks, collecting sea grass and other marine vegetation as food for your family. You’d swim along the coral reef, not going so far as to reach the outskirts of the kingdom; yet, just as you were about to pluck yet another piece of kelp from its roots, a dark shadow crossed over you from above.

By the time you turned around to see what it was, however, the shadow was gone – it had, like those who’d gone beyond the reef, disappeared without a trace.

As you swam to the very edge of the reef, miraculously evading any guards posted in the area, you looked out into the deep blue as it turned to black beneath your tail – never having realized before that your reef had stood on the edge of a precipice that overlooked a vast, endless abyss – unknowing and shrouded in mystery. You shivered, an indecisive feeling striking at your heart as you questioned whether or not to follow it – before you noticed the slightest movement in the dark below.

Fuck it, you thought to yourself as you embraced the vastness of the water and swam into the depths where light began to dwindle, wishing to know what exactly lived down there. You swam, and swam, and swam – feeling the pressure slowly but surely digging into your skin – a force that, despite the small discomfort, seemed to be pushing you further downward rather than ushering you back to the safety of your home, and a sense of freedom started to flood through you – because you had done something that was unthinkable, and you were alive. 

Yet, as you continued your journey into the abyss, you noticed movement just out of the periphery of your slowly diminishing vision, and you realized how what you’d done could be perceived as foolish – because you were not alone here; there were beings lurking in the dark that engulfed you – watching you as you traversed through the unknown – or at least, what was unknown to you.

“You’re an interesting little thing, aren’t you?” a voice from behind you hissed. “Not a care in the world for what could be lurking within the shadows – stalking their prey as you go about swimming in waters that aren’t yours." 

Your blood turned to ice as you slowly turned around to face the voice’s owner – only to find nothing as you’d gone too deep into the dark, just barely able to make out the tips of your fingers as you stretched your arms out in front of you. The voice chuckled, as though it could smell your fear.

“Where– where are you? Who are you?” you hesitantly asked the voice, only for it to answer – sounding from your right this time.

“Hm? So demanding,” the voice admonished you, “I should ask you what you’re doing in my waters.” It was behind you now, “tell me, how did you find yourself so far away from your home? Are you lost? At first, his outline suggested that he was a fellow merperson, but your eyes widened as he got closer – as he revealed his more reptilian nature. To start, he lacked the forked caudal fin usually possessed by merfolk, instead possessing one more pointed and snake-like – one that merged into a spinal fin that ran continuously along his much longer tail and back. The himbo, malewife, goofball -fication of percy jackson is such a crime by both the fans and riordan. It has made Mr not like percabeth as a couple because in all posts and in later books annabeth is such a girlboss, while Percy's dumb and can't fight his way out of a paperbag without her. All the posts are about how annabeth will be an architect and percy would love to be a trophy husband.

Even the humor in the books went from Percy's sharp wit and snark to 'my pancakes can't drown because I'm a son of poseidon.'

And now this recommendation letter bullshit.

Honestly now I'd wish percy just separated from annabeth (but they remain best friends.) He stays home with his family, becomes a camp counselor, helps young demigods, holds God's accountable and eventually becomes a social activist. (I also dislike him doing something marine biology related. It's clear he hates academics but he always wants to help people. Him helping demigods and mortals is such a wholesome profession for him.)

I fully agree with the first half of this, though I slightly disagree with part of the latter.

The later-series and fanon mischaracterization of Percy is at least a solid 50% ableism minimum, full stop. He's being warped into a very stereotyped ADHD character and the exact reason why he's being characterized as "dumb" is because of ableism. Percy is a very intelligent character! That's exactly why he's so in sync with Annabeth and they're such a strong duo! It's just generally Annabeth is more book/academically smart.

I disagree with where you say he hates academics - because that's one of the common misconceptions about his character. Percy doesn't hate learning or academic subjects! He's not even bad at them! We know explicitly that when he is in an accommodating environment he is interested in learning and gets significantly better grades! Percy only dislikes school because it is generally an environment that systematically he struggles with. It's literally just he has a learning disability (two, actually)! That's it! When his learning disability is accommodated for he does well! It's almost like that's what accommodations are all about! We know this from the first series! It's discussed pretty in-depth! Percy isn't a dumb character and he doesn't hate learning, he's just been let down by school systems so much that he's inherently distrustful of them. If they actually accommodate him though then he does just fine!

And that's exactly what CHB was all about and why New Rome University was supposed to be such a big thing for him! CHB is a learning environment geared for demigods. NRU is a demigod college. Both inherently imply an environment meant to cater to and accommodate students with ADHD and dyslexia! They are both systematically structured to be able to accommodate him! Heck, CHB and CJ even both address in the wider themes of the series a metaphor about how ADHD and dyslexia are commonly seen as childhood disabilities, and how it can be more difficult to find accommodations into adulthood because of that attitude but those disabilities don't just go away - that's why CHB is a summer camp but they talk about how demigods outside of CHB don't often fare well. The metaphor there is those who are not getting help or accommodations are struggling. Because that's how that works! This is a fully intentional metaphor from the first series! CHB is never framed as being perfect for demigods, because one of the entire central conflicts of the series is Percy and Luke going back and forth about this flawed system meant to help and support them but still letting people fall through the cracks. The "claim your kids by 13" thing is a metaphor about how acknowledging a child's disabilities (and possibly getting a diagnosis) earlier/as early as possible means they will have more time to learn and build up resources and support for themselves to be able to use later in life. One of CHB's major flaws is that it can accommodate demigods to a certain point, but it can only do so much before those demigods have to leave (the metaphor being accommodating school systems when those disabled students do not have any other forms of accommodations in their lives.)

And that's why Camp Jupiter was framed as being so revolutionary for Percy because it had an environment acknowledging that this is not just a childhood disability, adults with ADHD/dyslexia exist too and still need and deserve accommodations, AND is a place where those accommodations are available. That's why Camp Jupiter and NRU are treated as such special and important things to Percy, because it's essentially Percy being shown this type of thing can and does exist and it is available to him. It is an option he never thought was possible. Percy never thought he'd be able to go to college because he would not be able to go through school without accommodations, but NRU proves otherwise.

The part that's absolutely stupid is Rick then proceeded to retcon NRU so that apparently it's not a full college and Percy still has to take classes at normal mortal college which DEFEATS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF NRU EXISTING. Rick has fully retconned that demigods struggle past the ages of 16-18 when they're on their own (see above elaborated metaphors) and in doing so we have fully killed all symbolism in literally all of that. It's so stupid. And by having the plot of the CoTG trilogy entirely be that Percy is not actually allowed access to NRU in the first place because he is a son of Poseidon and has to do extra to even be accepted is stupid!

All that to say, I agree the marine biology feels like a huge cop-out and a disservice to his character by reducing him to just a son of Poseidon. The literal only reason why it's the default option people take for him is because oh, fish thing, fish guy. But I feel like everyone ignores the really obvious answer for what Percy would want to do which is - writing. Both his parents are writers/authors and he clearly admires that about them. Percy likes telling stories! He canonically is already a published author in-universe! That's what the books ARE in-universe! The first series fully exists in their universe and Percy is the author! This is explicit canonical information! Percy canonically has help physically writing it down (accommodations) but he is still the credited author! Percy is a writer! Already! Canonically! Why are we making him a marine biologist he already has a profession that ties into his character significantly more. Like you said, Percy likes helping people. That's what the books in-universe are supposed to be for! It's point blank at the beginning of the series! Book one! The thing everybody quotes all the time! The books exist because it is Percy trying to give advice to other demigods who don't know what's going on yet! It's Percy's writing down his experiences to help new demigods understand and contextualize their experiences so they can understand themselves better and figure out what's going on - WHICH IN ITSELF IS ALSO A METAPHOR ABOUT ADHD/DYSLEXIA! Because the core of the series has and always will be built around ADHD/dyslexia! Percy as a protagonist EXPLICITLY was created so that ADHD/dyslexic kids could see themselves as a hero!

Sorry that all was a very tangential rant but my point being: Absolutely. Percy in newer stuff in the franchise and in fanon is horrifically mischaracterized in ways that are functionally either fully ableist (shoutout TSATS for just outright claiming Percy is intentionally lazy and skips school out of disinterest, which is like the number one ableist attitude towards kids with learning disabilities) or a complete erasure of Percy's disabilities. Also I think he should be a writing major not a marine biologist.

This is a more difficult placement because Neptune rules over Pisces and Virgo over the 6th house so its opposition. Meaning that Neptune doesn’t feel good in the 6th which is why you could have difficulty focusing on daily activities or your routine. It could as well be difficult for them to find a job. You might find it hard to find motivation to complete even your daily tasks. You’re an animal lover and at least have a cat or a dog. You’ve came to this earth to heal others and try to protect the world wherever you can. Neptune in the 6th house aren’t such fans of routine, they might rather be spontaneous instead of creating a to do list. Its common for them to be lazy and not clean their room (can’t be angry with u at this one). Maybe you don’t have such a strong immune system & that’s why you often get ill, you might have the rarest allergies. General Information

Most people know Poseidon as the god of the ocean, but of course when looking at his epithets, he is the god of fathers/fatherhood, of the house, horses, earthquakes, and even the nurturing of plants.

His Family

He is married to Amphitrite, Queen of the Oceans. They have a son together Triton.

He is also known to be the father of Aeolus, of the winds, Despoena goddess of specific Arkadian Mysteries, and Proteus, an elderly god seal herder.

Some other offspring of note include: Charybdis the giantess whirlpool who is mothered by Gaia, Polyphemus the cyclops born of Sea Nymph Thoosa, and Thesus an Athenian hero born of Aithra.

His Symbols/Attributes

Obviously, the trident is His main symbol.

His sacred animals consisted of bulls, horses, and dolphins. Being the god of the ocean other sea creatures were also used in reference to Him.

Plants related to Him are pine trees and wild celery!

Poseidon & Myths

I’m someone who is big on how terrible Myth Literalism is. Poseidon is not his myths. No god is their myths.

Myths are stories that teach lessons, nothing more. He is not some terrible god or mean man. So imma get into my experience with Him!

Poseidon to Me

Poseidon has a very fatherly energy to Him, and I attribute that to His fatherly epithets as well as His many children.

At times His presence is very soft and gentle. Like a tender pat on the back for a job well done. A warm laugh of an enthused fatherly figure. Other times it can almost be suffocating. A tight chest pressure and weight on your shoulders, the gaze of a disappointed father.

However, He always means well.

Why pray to Poseidon?

Poseidon came to me while I was researching epithets, actually looking to see if there were any fatherly epithets. I was in the middle of combing through King Zeus’s epithets before I my brain focused on Poseidon. Writing Zeus’s list, all I could think about was checking Poseidon’s even though I wasn’t finished with my previous one. So I checked. Surprise surprise.

Since then I have consistently prayed to Him for things you’d ask a father for. Advice, comfort, just… His presence. All of which He provides. I live inland so I don’t see the ocean, but I spend plenty of time playing in rivers or lakes occasionally. I thank Him and King Zeus for the rain. I love horses, so I research them and learn about them. I thank Him purely for their beauty and existence.

Even if their domain doesn’t fully involve you, you can still worship a god. And it’s still so gratifying.

The Sims 4 - Olympians Gods Legacy Challenge

Based on the famous “Not So Berry” Legacy Challenge, the Olympian Gods Legacy Challenge follows an offspring where each generation is based on one of the Olympian gods from Greek Mythology. Each generation will have to complete careers, skills or goals based on myths of the gods in Greek mythology.

General Rules (Rules for all generations):

With the exception of the 'Hera' and 'Artemis' generations, each generation can be made with any gender

'freerealestate' will be allowed in the first house, after that avoid cheats

It is interesting that each generation has an object that refers to the generation's patron god.

It is not mandatory to use the name of the patron god as the name of the sim

I first came across this challenge by simmer CheetahAlyssa and wanted to put my own little spin on the creative idea she originally came up with :)

This challenge is SPECIFICALLY meant for base game meaning no extra add on mods or external cheats outside of the game's original programming are needed to participate.

Overall Rules:

The genders of the sims aren't specified to their referred God/Goddess. The challenge is based on personality rather than physical appearance, so have fun with creating your sims.

Autonomy must be switched ON. I recommend a long lifespan for your sims.

If your sims unfortunately pass during any time during the challenge before you can at least get the next heir ready, you automatically lose the challenge and have to start over (whats the point of a challenge if there's no challenge? Hehe)

Generation 1: Hestia "The Homemaker"  (Goddess of hearth/home)

You begin your origins as Hestia, the first born child of the titans Kronos and Rhea.

Household funds start at base game amount.

Must remain a virgin and can only have  one child through adoption. (The child must be adopted as either an infant or toddler).

Must like to cook and bake.

You must not have a job but earn money by selling food (via food stand, etc)

**BONUS: If you use a mod that requires more traits, then you can add the foodie and generous trait as well.

Used to life as the only child, you developed a love for the outdoors, and growing your own food from the ground. You spend your days surrounded by plants, the life of the country satisfies you more than the city.

Must have the traits loves outdoors, rancher, and green fiend

Must not have a job, but earn money by gardening.

Master gardening skill

Cannot marry.

Must have a child through a one night stand. Must not see the parent sim after pregnancy.

Relationship with child must be strict, and does not allow child to have contact with other sims.

Generation 3: Hera "The Queen B" (Goddess of Marriage/Women/Family)

You were destined to be at birth, and your mother gave you nothing but the best being the only child, but you grew up naive due to being so sheltered.

Rules:

Must start gameplay when you become a teen.

Must have the traits romantic, jealous, and snob traits.

Must fall in love as a teen with a noncommittal sim.

Marry your first love. (Partner must cheat during marriage and produce multiple children. A cheat can be used on partner for this purpose)

Have a bad relationship with your husband but never divorce or break up.

Must have a career as a style influencer, and reach the branch "trend setter".

Must have three children.

Must have bad relationship with third and last child, and kick them out during their teen years (this sim begins next generation)

**BONUS: If you use a mod that requires more traits, then you can add the high maintenance trait as well.

Must become a mermaid by eating kelp in the aspirations.

Must have the traits child of the ocean, romantic, hot-headed.

Must not have a job until you become a YA, but can earn money through fishing.

Get a career in Conservationist and branch in the Marine Biologist career once you become a YA.

Must fall in love and marry a mermaid.

Must have three children and all but one can be a mermaid. (If all three spawn as mermaid, you can change one to human by using a cheat. This child starts next generation)

Must have at least one child outside of your marriage.

Must master fitness and fishing skill before YA.

Must have the traits loner, socially awkward, and loyal.

Always dress in black

Fall in love with a sim that has the loves the outdoors trait.

Must befriend at least 3 ghosts, and have at least one high friendship.

Cannot have children, but can adopt one infant or toddler.

Must have good relationship with both spouse and child.

Must start as a YA.

Must have the non-commitment, romantic, and self assured trait.

Must have a career in politics and branch into politician.

Must marry a sim, but cheat throughout entire relationship and marriage and spawn children from each side relationship.

Must have three children with partner.

Finland acquires JDAM and SDB I weapon systems for its F-35 fighters

The Patria and the Finnish Defense Forces signed a service agreement to develop the capabilities of Finland's F-35 program, specifically purchases of JDAM and SDB I ammunition.

Major General Jari Mikkonen, Head of the Logistics Command of the Finnish Defense Forces (FDFLOGCOM) signed the contract for the acquisition of JDAM and SDB I ammunition for the F-35 multifunctional fighters on February 29, 2024. The Finnish Minister of Defense authorized the Logistics of the Defence Forces Command to conduct the acquisition.

The object of the acquisition is the JDAM and SDB I systems with related equipment and services in the years 2024–2030. The acquisition is referred to as the Total Package Approach (TPA), which means that, in addition to the JDAM and SDB I pumps, the acquisition includes transport sets of BRU-61 ammunition, training material, manuals, spare parts, accessories, transport services and manufacturer instructions, as well as training services and supplier support. Contains spare parts and support services for manufacturers and suppliers by 2030.

The acquisition contract is in dollars and its indexed maximum price is US$ 96.1 million. Purchase payments will take place during the years 2024-2030.

The acquisition will be carried out in accordance with the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procedure between the authorities of the USA and Finland, in which the Defense Forces Logistics Command will conclude the acquisition contract with the United States administration.

The JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) is a modular guidance kit for 500, 1,000 or 2,000 pound bombs of the Mark 80 series. In addition to a guidance kit, a fuse or sensor is installed in the pump, depending on the intended use. A bomb equipped with JDAM can perform precision attacks on fixed or mobile targets at short range.

The SDB I (Small Diameter Bomb I) is a glider pump capable of accurately hitting medium-range targets. Thanks to the relatively small size of the pump, a fighter is able to carry a larger number of SDB I bombs at a time.

Guided bombs and glider bombs are part of the weapons acquisition package that allows the Finnish Air Force to have the ability to support other Forces in combat activities. The weapons of the F-35 fighters from Finland will be acquired in stages until the year 2035. The phased implementation of the acquisition of weapons will make it possible to optimize the composition of weapons as the Finnish F-35 program progresses.

"Some of the types of weapons to be purchased can also be used with our current fleet of F/A-18 Hornet. Therefore, when we make the transition to the F-35, we will be able to profit from the skills and experience in systems acquired so far," said the Director of the F-35 Program, Colonel (retired), Henrik Elo.

Olympia Komninou, Griffon MagiMonster! Champion of Athena. Student in archaeology at the University of Athens. Passionate and cheerful, she seeks to learn more about herself through the many challenges she'll have to face. She loves hanging out and eating out. She has the ability to store an unlimited amount of weapons in her amulet.

Iris Griva, Cyclops MagiMonster! Champion of Hephaestus. Works full time as a disciple of Hephaestus in his workshop. Takes metalworking seriously. She doesn't really understand jokes or innuendo and tends to take expressions too literally. She is a good fighter despite being a support type of MagiMonster. She has the ability to create weapons from any material and can analyze power levels of any being or object with her single eye.

Eurydice Diamantopoulou, Siren MagiMonster! Champion of Apollo. She used to be a famous singer until she lost her voice in an accident. After an encounter with Apollo, she recovered the use of her voice but can only sing, not talk. In spite of her speech mutism, her prima donna attitude makes her hard to tolerate. She has the ability to charm and entrance any being with her appearance and voice and can predict the near or distant future with no distinction as to when the events will occur.

Iphigenia Elaphiaia, Ceryneian Hind MagiMonster! Champion of Artemis. A nymph, leader of Artemis' huntress. Formerly human, she allegedly used to be a veterinarian until she was turned into a nymph by Artemis' wrath. She lost all hopes of returning to a normal life. She has endless stamina and can travel long distances without ever being caught, but cannot fight unless she is touched by moonlight.

Myrto Dimopoulou, Satyr MagiMonster! Champion of Dionysus. An artist who performs a very complicated series of stories through theatre plays, bathroom graffitis, hidden mixtapes, etc. She loves the arts and thinks of art as the most fundamental aspect of life. Her positive outlook on life and zany attitude is often mocked and shunned, but under that goofy vibe, she is a force not to be messed with. She has the ability to create wine that can produce various effects, can entrance beings with "drunken illusions" that makes them believe they're part of a theatre play's story. She can also increase the effect of a ritual and provoke madness through it.

Ophelia Papadopoulou, Harpy MagiMonster! Champion of Hermes. A teenage runaway girl who serves the messenger god Hermes, her caretaker, with whom she agreed on a pact granting her a iota of his incredible speed for the sake of doing cool tricks, but he cursed her to have no sense of directions. Oops! She's a cheerful hothead who often acts impulsively. She has the ability of flight and can generate whirlwinds and storm winds. She also can snatch one item from someone without being noticed at all.

Myrina Çelik, Erymanthian Boar MagiMonster! Champion of Aphrodite. A martial artist and fitness model, managed by Aphrodite. She's quiet and always focused on the tasks she has to perform, and in fighting she acts on pure instinct. In spite of her intimidating gaze and her reputation as a quick-tempered warrior, she is surprisingly chill, friendly and supportive. She has the ability to resist the first 100 hits in a battle, can deal a devastating blow on her fifth consecutive strike and can destroy anything on her way when she charges with her shield.

Hesione Marinou, Cetus MagiMonster! Champion of Poseidon. A priestess of Poseidon who was raised as a sacrifice to the Cetus, but was spared after she proved her worth to the sea god. Motherly, devoted and of pacifist nature, she will always aid people facing the dangers of the tumultuous sea. If Poseidon asks her to do something, she will do as he asks without any hesitation out of sheer devotion. Despite claiming that she is satisfied with this puzzling situation, she secretly wishes of a human life. In addition to aquatic powers and super-strength, she has the ability to grow in size. Her powers strengthen considerably if she is in a body of water.

Vera Aggelatou, Pegasus MagiMonster! Despite not being a Champion, Poseidon took her under his wing, as her strength easily equals a champion. She is methodical and serious, focused entirely on whatever objective she needs to accomplish and on bettering herself. Originally fated to become the Griffon MagiMonster, her life turned upside down when Olympia unknowingly and unwillingly took her place. If Olympia can use any type of weapons possible, Vera chose to only use a single weapon type to fight with: the katana sword. She has the ability of flight, can infuse her weapon with lightning and can reflect attacks with a special type of parry.

Hyakinthi Kehaya, Scylla MagiMonster! One of the two Champions of Hera. Disgraced heir of a fashion empire, she became a warrior for Hera after a series of strange events where she proved her worth. She has a good sense of initiatives and a charismatic personality, but comes across as rather self-centered when she insists on taking the lead. She and Nia are a couple with an amazing synergy, blessed by Hera. She can only become a MagiMonster on land. She has the ability to create land on water bodies and alter water currents at will.

Nia, Charybdis MagiMonster! One of the two Champions of Hera. Her real name is Ourania Dellaporta and she was the heiress of a wealthy family, but her hatred for materialism led her to commit transgressions and leave civilization to become a witch on a strange island. Anti-social and careless, she can be cruel if pushed to the extremes. Her creative use of hydromancy makes her a powerful ally. She and Hyakinthi are a couple with an amazing synergy, blessed by Hera. She can only become a MagiMonster underwater. She has the ability to create whirlpools and to alter water currents at will.

Alcmene Alexaki, Nemean Lion MagiMonster! Champion of Zeus. Current titleholder of the Divine Victory. An olympic wrestler who always seeks to push the limits of her physical performances, no matter what. This causes her to perform incredible athletic feats, at the cost of her own health. She barely cares if she hurts herself. She's a woman of few words and it's almost impossible to be friends with her. But she cares. She cares a lot. She has an indestructible skin and the ability to cut through any armor.

Chrysantha Alpha, Mu, and Omega, Cerberus MagiMonster! Champion of Hades and Persephone. A shade whose soul split in three halves (nicknamed "heads") upon her mysterious death. Each head guards one of the domains of the Underworld: Alpha, kind but plain, guards Asphodel Meadows, Mu, serious and stricts, guards Tartarus and Omega, boisterous and reckless, guards Elysium Fields. She has the ability to be impassible when guarding a given place and to analyze where a soul will end up in the Underworld. Each head has a unique ability: Alpha can summon shades to fight, Mu can bind and inflict punishments when she witnesses a "crime" and Omega can summon the strength of heroic shades.

Chrysaorus the Knight of Seasons, Kykhreides MagiMonster! Champion of Demeter. A seemingly immortal dragon knight in charge of enforcing the Sacred Law. Never talks. Obeys Demeter no matter what. Her power set changes depending on the season. She has the ability to change an area's season for the duration of a battle. She also has the ability to give special properties to fruits and vegetables.

Pandora, Titan MagiMonster! Champion of Hestia. Crafted by the gods, she is nicknamed the original woman. For her wrongdoings, she has been unfairly punished: she has been made immortan and she carries the powers of the Titans. Locked in the basement of a Neko Maid Cafe in Athens, she slumbers for a century when she uses her powers beyond a certain limit. She possesses tremendous destructive powers capable of causing catastrophes and natural disasters. The only things that holds her back from completely destroying the world is her humanity.

Aínigma, Chimera MagiMonster! Not a Champion, but her strength equals one. She claims not being affiliated to any goddess and simply does as she wishes. Due to the very nature of her powers, no one knows who she really is. She has the ability to shapeshift into any animal she wants and to be an amalgamation of three different animals. She also has the ability to conceal her true identity.

Poor Ikki hasn't had time to get over the trauma that Felix caused him and now Rodorio will appear looking for Hades' soul inside Shun (What a scare awaits the unfortunate ones who are around him when they find him)

Fortunately, since Rodorio did not have time to deal with the problems of the marines, he did a quick interrogation and sent Kanon and Isaac to the sanctuary via meteor express, so they are aware of the situation and Camus decides to travel to Japan (dragging Isaac and Zareb with him) and Aleksandros joins because he doesn't want to have anything to do with the fight that is about to break out in the Sanctuary (and because he can exorcise Hades)

Poseidon agrees to help Rodorio find Hades on the condition that he make it a formal event (which means taking the rest of the generals with him which delays him)

If it weren't for the fact that he can almost taste Hades' last breath, Rodorio would have broken Poseidon's trident in his face.

And while we're at it, Pandora and Orphee also show up because Pandora wants to make sure Hades dies and punch Rodorio in the shin for destroying her castle.

There are going to be so many people in there that it is going to be chaos and Ikki now also has Pandora present to relive another trauma.

Hopefully no one (except Hades) will die.

Aloy, of course, would be the Wildcard

Gaia would play the role of both Igor and your first Navi character until Beta showed up

I haven't quite settled on what the mechanism of awakening to a Persona would involve in this AU, but they're summoned using a Focus. Second Awakenings would happen as part of the plot like in Persona 3 rather than at the completion of Social Links like in 5

Aloy - Mnemosyne

"The Titan Goddess of memory in Greek mythology. She was mother to the nine Muses and was often called on by bards and kings to aid them in remembering both poetry and history. "Twin brother to Artemis and one of Greek mythology's Twelve Olympians. "A huntsman of great renown in Greek myth, he was a hunting companion and friend to the goddess Artemis. His death came at her hands when she was tricked into shooting him with her bow. To honor his memory, she placed him in the heavens as the constellation that bears his name."

Hey, I'm writing a PJO fanfic, and I'm trying to come up with a nickname that can be given to Percy (ocean/Poseidon-related) that isn't Seaweed Brain. It's iconic, but personally, it makes me a little uncomfortable as someone who was also bullied for my (lack-of) intelligence. Do you have any suggestions?

Hm, this is difficult only because I am not someone who particularly uses petnames/nicknames often. I have considered what Percy might call other people (usually fish puns - like calling people different fish species as a pun based on something about them. Like flying fish for Jason, etc etc). I do think it's interesting that with how the series censors swears in-universe there is some implication that "Seaweed Brain" and "Wise Girl" may just be stand-ins for "Dumbass" and "Smartass" so you could potentially play off of that with Percy just having another cuss nickname but most potential ones with that don't fully solve your problem/still be negative-leaning though not necessarily related to his intelligence.

"Water Boy" i can see being one that people jokingly call him as like a teasing insult, a la Jason being called "Golden Boy/Weather Boy" or Nico being called "Death Boy." I personally like the hc of him taking up a job as a lifeguard in New Rome during college so maybe something related to that? Pop culture references - Aquaman, Ariel, Jaws, Aquamarine, any character from h2o, Baywatch, etc. Maybe superhero jokes along the lines of Jason's "blond superman" nickname.

I could see him getting little cutesy sea-themed nicknames particularly from Sally - starfish, cuttlefish (or "cuddlefish"), scallop, "lil barnacle" (if he's being clingy), "lil clamshell," pearl, etc etc. Tbh fish/aquatic/marine stuff in general is an easy one. Maybe even branching out to waterfowl and similar/other water-adjacent animals. Also anything based off his name itself is easy (just referring to him as "Jackson," Perce [pronounced "Purse"] - though he kind of already has "Percy" so shortening that further feels redundant, etc etc). Maybe anything specifically about him being the son of Poseidon, depending on who is saying it ("Mini-Poseidon" / "Lil' Poseidon" etc etc).

Edit: actually, addendum - any of the silly nicknames from 50% Off used on literally any character. Especially ones directed towards Rin.
