#pikachu #anime #sniffer #here we are with a very nice combination angle #something i would consider both an anime and a sniffer #pikachu is also simultaneously overrated and underrated at the same time #like okay. pikachu is so easy to just see as the pokémon mascot. i think there's a lot of arguments that pikachu is overrated #just because it's the mascot and you see it everywhere. but here's the thing. here's the trick to liking pikachu more #have or know of a really good pikachu OC that you think of every time you see pikachu. for example‚ a pmd character #they're easy examples bc pikachu is playable in every pmd game. then‚ you'll always associate pikachu with that pokémon #and every time you see pikachu‚ you go. holy shit. it's [name of character]#and you start to like it way more. that's what i did. it worked for me #now i love pikachu and i think it's great. every time i get something with pikachu on it because that's 99% of the pokémon merch #that exists on the planet‚ i go. hehe. it is merch of The Character

A Stop For A Drink

Second art to this series! (Yes I’m making it a series I wanna draw more of them)

After drawing this part, I really wanted to write a fanfiction based off of this, I’m not a writer if at all but I’m so curious! Anyways they take a stop to get a drink and Gary just wants this to be done with already. (Probably because they’re still on their way to the location idk where I haven’t decided yet + they’re taking forever) It was a hot day too so he let it slide.

Days have been becoming colder for us southern hemisphere people so make sure you take care of yourself and warm up! As for the northern ones stay hydrated and enjoy your summer breaks! I forgot to say last post but happy pride month and I’ll catch you guys next time, smell ya later!

I would describe my reaction to Natlan as disappointed but unsurprised. I will say the one positive thing I’ve noticed is there’s more people speaking out in an orderly fashion and less push back against the people speaking out. Not to say there isn’t push back there definitely is, but the conversation feels less like rabid dogs going at each other. Part of this I think is due in part to the fact that many people (like myself) expected this and were prepared this time around, but also people’s flimsy arguments are crumpling. “Just wait till Natlan” arguments can’t be passed around anymore. Chinese fans are also complaining, so you can’t even make that argument anymore.

I don’t know if any of this will get Hoyo to recall anything but god we can dream. However, it’s still nice though to see the backlash.

#on a more personal note #the deisgn are just bad even by genshin standards #they’re weirdly modern #and they don’t match with the rest of the world of genshin #and they’re bland #like i really got no personality noted from anyone #even the archon was like… ok she’s firey??#but i could’ve made that assumption based on the whole pyro archon thing #they looked liked they tried to make pokémon trainers #and failed miserably #and it’s weird to me bc genshin usually takes a modern fantasy approach to designing #but i saw no fantasy in these designs beyond animal features #like if i’m being really honest i feel like genshin’s character deisgns are getting worse #bc even fontaine was very hit or miss for me #ik everyone loved fontaine and it’s characters but i was across the board underwhelmed #and it’s funny bc the harbiringer designs feel like fever dream #like this can’t be made by the same company #genhin impact #genshin #txt #natlan

I am so hyped for part two of this dlc. Scarlet and Violet has proven that I will absolutely play and love a jankey broken game if the story is good. Plus they have knocked it out of the park with the legends for this gen. Like this is just an (I'm assuming)tiny, fuzzy, balding, roomba turtle with a beard. What's not to love?

(I have no idea how it moves, I'm really hoping for that good kingambit scoot tho)

An opinion.

I think that Lysandre should’ve been more offputting and creepy in the anime. I know there’s this whole meme about how game Lysandre rants about his plans to commit genocide in excruciating detail while everyone just stands there and lets it happen, but anime Lysandre just sat there and fucked around until the rushed as hell Kalos crisis arc. Aside from his association with Team Flare and maybe Sycamore not liking him, you might not have realized he was completely evil and not just misguided if his game and manga counterparts weren’t evil. His plans should’ve been foreshadowed more. Maybe he’s shown manipulating Alain in a really obvious way. Maybe he acts weird around Ash specifically and doesn’t blink when he’s looking at the kid. Maybe one character other than Sycamore (preferably a focal one) points out that he’s kinda scary and they don’t really like him or trust him.

Anyways, leave your thoughts down below.

#I also think that Ash should’ve had more to do during the Kalos crisis.#My boy got kidnapped to be used as a weapon of mass destruction and then he just shrugs it off and follows Alain around like a duckling #Not only did Lysandre not need him AT ALL outside of being a cool new toy but he doesn’t even get to contribute in a meaningful way #Give Lysandre a real reason to need him for the evil plan and justify his presence.
