The Hall of Amazing Men: Branscombe Richmond

A new admission to the Hall of Amazing Men, Branscombe Richmond is best known for being an actor where he played Lorenzo Lamas’s friend, the Lando Calrissian-like sharpie Dallas Sixkiller, or as Moki, the smartmouth Hawaiian friend of Magnum, P.I. But behind the camera, as a tough as nails stunt coordinator and stuntman, Branscombe Richmond created and developed nearly all the eccentric and eye catching events in the TV series American Gladiators: Atlasphere (the one where people roll around in giant balls), Powerball (done simply because they needed a sport that could be created cheaply because they ran out of money for development) and all the various ones where musclemen shoot tennis balls at people, and where you have to avoid muscular women by jumping on a bungee cord. I don’t think it would be inaccurate to say that with his development (on a really thin budget, no less) of memorable, eye catching sports and events that, with his stunt training he knew could be done safely enough so that even kinda-sporty housewives from Illinois could do them without injury, Branscombe Richmond created American Gladiators. He turned an idea into a realized, practical show that can be done – I don’t think it is inaccurate at all to call him the uncredited creator of American Gladiators.

In his career as a stuntman, Branscombe Richmond, meanwhile, is another one of those faces that shows up over and over playing evil henchmen, members of motorcycle gangs in rough biker bars the hero brawls with karate (if there’s ever a rough scummy biker bar out there, you can bet Branscomb Richmond is in it), and hordes of nunchaku wielding ninja, to the point where if you are, like me, an 80s-90s action aficionado, his face makes you go “oh, hey…it’s that guy!” Can you really call yourself an action fan if you don’t start identifying “your” evil henchman? His IMDB page is mostly roles that are named “Gunman In Jeep,” "Biker #2," and "Terrifying Clown."  

If there is a Evil Henchman Hall of Fame, Brandscomb is there alongside the great Al Leung. You can spot his face as a henchman in Never Too Young to Die (with John Stamos), Action Jackson, Batman Returns, the Hidden, Iron Eagle III: Aces High (objectively the best one as it had Ms. Olympia Rachel McLish), and Star Trek III, where he was a Klingon henchman to Christopher Lloyd who almost got disintegrated and had to feed his disgusting slimy monster dog-salamander. It's comforting to know the profession of henching is alive and well 300 years in the future.

On television, Brandscomb Richmond was on every single cool show from the 80s: Tales of the Gold Monkey, TJ Hooker, Manimal, Airwolf, Knight Rider, Baywatch, and many times attempted to kill the A-Team, especially from motorcycles. Like Chiba, another stuntman-actor, Branscombe Richmond specialized in motorcycle stunts, and he was admitted to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2003. He is, to this day, the guest of honor at whatever motorcycle rally your embarrassing hick uncle attends. I have no evidence for this, but I have long suspected that the reason Richmond was hired to be Dallas Sixkiller in Renegade with Lorenzo Lamas was so they could get his unpaid advice on motorcycle stunts (much like how I have always suspected Warner Brothers hired Ben Affleck as Batman as a "backdoor" way to ask him to direct).

He also played the older brother of the Rock in the Scorpion King, which is an interesting choice because despite getting roles as American Indians (and being beloved in the American Indian community, who, as a whole, deeply love characters who are smartmouth, wiseass sharpies/scammers who get one over on everyone), Brandscome Richmond is in fact, like the Rock, of Hawaiian origin. His first major role in television, that of Moki in Magnum PI, was in fact Hawaiian.

Why are there so many Pacific Islanders in stuntman careers, MMA, and professional wrestling? The answer is surprisingly pedestrian. It’s because Pacific Islanders are a sizable ethnic population in Los Angeles, where movies and television are made, so if you need someone in L.A. that are tough as nails and can take a hit, a Samoan or Hawaiian is a good choice.

Happily, Branscombe Richmond is alive and well, mostly retired as a traditionally large Hawaiian family patriarch. He does occasional voice work, as Gibraltar in Apex Legends, a character physically based on him as well. I imagine he is relieved to be working in showbiz and no longer risking brain damage to do it.

DAMIAN WAYNE IS A GREEK TRAGEDY

When I say Damian al Ghul Wayne has almost all the ingredients of a classical Greek Tragedy, it is not an empty claim.

1. Tragic Hero: The hero facing his destiny with dignity. His virtuous character forms a bond with the audience, while his tragic flaw results in the audience’s fear for him, and his terrible punishment reveals a sense of pity.

Damian is the hero of his own story. In his mind, he was given a destiny, a standard to live up to. It came from his grandfather, as Hafid al Ghul, son of the Demon. It came from his mother, as her Alexander, with Talia deluding herself as Olympias. It came from his father, as the son of Batman.

He thought himself perfect on all those role, mighty ones they might be, heavy and overwhelming even, but he persevered in ways that should be impossible and ultimately achieved the pinnacle of a perfect heir for all of them.

2. Tragic Flaw: The human limitations of the hero or an error in judgement leading to the downfall. He attempts to escape from his destiny; however, he unknowingly runs toward it. His attempt leads him to his “damnation”.

But what he thought was perfection, was his downfall. For even if he was designed and raised to be perfect, those roles are fashioned by imperfect mortals. As the son of the Batman, he was all too much of a monster to even be treated as child, let alone a son. As the son of the Demon, he was too soft, kind, and all too human, to sit upon the al Ghul's immortal throne. As the great Alexander, he was deemed as a mere pawn, a victim of circumstance, and not a victor of his own fate.

He was set up for failure before his story even began.

3. Catastrophe: The horrible ending of the play: death, suicide, ruin etc. Upon the truth being revealed about Oedipus’ origin, Queen Jocasta commits suicide by hanging herself, Oedipus stabs his eyes with the pin on Jocasta’s dress and pleads to be exiled from the city.

And just like all tragedies, it ends up in death...so many deaths and sacrifices. Repeat and rinse, the cycle continues with each redeeming arc punctuated by his death or ruin.

And just like Sisyphus, one must imagine him to be happy. For how else could he endure these unending trials?

4. Central Belief of Destiny: The belief of the fact that the actions were preordained by the gods and the flaw was inevitable. Even though Oedipus attempts to flee from his preordained destiny, the belief in inevitable destiny becomes the reason for his destruction.

How else could he keep harking on to his destiny? Desperately clinging to it like a promise gold once he touched it like Midas' cursed hands? But no, everything he touches turns to dust, every height he scale would be pushed down reverting him back to his old bare bones of an unwanted worthless child from both side of his parents, even how much he tries to make things right. Every person or thing he treasured is another ammunition for plot purposes to make him more tragic than he already was.

Damian had tried to flee before, but fate always brings him back. Because Batman needs a Robin. But Bruce already has a Robin, doesn't he? Because Damian needs to be Robin? Just cause, who would he be then? When all those titles he earned has been discarded and thrashed in the light of Batman's justice?

And the only one title he could be proud of is always threatened to be taken away if he just as much cross an invisible line that keep on changing depending on whims of the doomed narrative.

5. The Chorus: Approximately twelve masked men, forming a specific group, make comments on the ongoing play by singing and dancing.

Due to its form of media, Damian has no twelve singing and dancing masked men. XD

BUT If I have a say on this, I'll give Damian his own set of bardic troupe narrating his life story, and maybe somehow DC writers would finally admit he was loved and wanted, and was never alone and actually have family, companions and friends along the way!

AND THAT IS WHY it makes more sense for writers to like and, or dare I say, even love Damian's character.

A lot of great fanfictioners in AO3 actually root for this little guy. So it's nice ✌️

It wasn't altogether surprising to the golden hedgehog that the attacks didn't have enough oomph on their own. She'd just snatched that move, unpracticed and mimicked as it was. It was a little rude of her, all things considered, to have pulled that sort of shenanigan on her counterpart. Oh no, watching the other pull off a successful follow-through on her attack? It gave her the precise idea on how to keep up the momentum in style herself; inspired by both that and the other's previous displays of swordsmanship. Chaos, too, why...

That's why, as those Neo-Kamehamehas erupted with newfound vigor as the dimensional barriers shattered; where Olympia had been was replaced with another golden visage of clone. No, the real deal was slamming shoes down to the floor and centering herself. It was going to take a lot of oomph, but with these, she had a clear image of what was needed, unlike her cribbed attack.

"Y'know, ya gave me a trip down memory lane, Sonic, so how's about--" Hand, pointing toward the metallic hedgehog, suddenly had bits of golden metal of it's own clamping down unto it. Sheathed in a new casing as light shone down the length of her arm, slamming pieces of armor onto her body and the flourish of cape erupting from her back. Helmet extending out over quills in brilliant hues of gold and multi-colored gems. Gauntleted hands clasping together as all-too-familiar for her grip forms; swinging out as an eruption of chaos energy made the blade itself.

"--I show ya a new one!" A flick of hand, slamming visor down over crimson eyes as she kicked off the floor and past the dissipating clones. Sword extended, erupting into brilliant golds in her approach as what was once just blade turned into an ever-expanding maelstrom of energy; growing in intensity as it went to cut through Sonic on her pass to meet up with the other Super Warrior.

Even sealed as she was, even taken into the depths of realms beyond worlds taking a smackdown that'd have most gods seeing more stars than a Walk of Fame, Sonic The Hedgehog wasn't even close to giving up the ghost, not when he's only just gotten this party started.

As the Neo-Kamehamehas approached, they bent and broke apart the closer they got to Sonic, flying apart in every direction as if unable to maintain its own integrity despite the sheer glut of counter-chaos approaching. Evidence enough that the Chaos Break was still sternly in effect. And while he's at it, the Hyper Metal Hedgehog was beginning to flood that prismatic prison with Scarlet energy of his own, trying to force the lock. Is he about to make a quick turnaround?

"As if!"

The Super Saiyan was already en route the instant it became clear that Olympia was about to get snagged by the same trick he did - fool him once, shame on him, but fool him twice? No dice. Gotenks spirited right past Olympia, Aura packed in tight against his body, changing from gold, white and blue into a sheath of iridescence, and with that protection he dove right inside his partner's personal blast.

Within the waves of light, that Kamehameha received an ocean of Life - lightning bursting out across its surface the further it got towards Sonic, the beam taking on a living shape as it recovered itself from its distortions - an Eternal Dragon.

The beast opened its roaring maw wide as it was propelled towards the bound badnik, and bit down catching him the second he should have burst free from the prism, shattering it like an egg, and blasting dark red flames upon him. All of a sudden, Sonic was heading far away to nowhere, fast.

As the flames weighed down, as he was pushing the jaws of the dragon apart with his hands and feet to keep from getting crushed, a deeper light had come into view from the throat of the monster - a light getting continuously brighter, until its source had split the flames apart with them surging past his body- Gotenks, laying out a punch so heavy against the other's head that the reverberations caused the dimensional walls touched by the Chaos Break to visibly crack apart.

"Dragon Fist."

The violet flames around the two continued to blaze past and against them, keeping Sonic's body from regenerating, or even recovering - it was like he was trapped in this stunned malaise, the next moments becoming a blur even to him, as the first punch was followed by another, another, kicks, palm strikes, heel strikes, again and again, numbering higher and higher without a single motion wasted. A Celestial Whirlwind had flowed from Gotenks' body, as he circled Sonic's body, iridescent breezes tracing each of his movements and following it with several copies of the same and previous actions.

The onslaught was ended with a kick to the head that shattered his Chaos Break, launching Metal out from the jaws of death, where the duplicate energy waves had finally hit him dead on. Gotenks was hoping Olympia has a follow through for that.

After ten thousand years, here's Olympia the Hedgehog in all her modern glory! Drawn once again by the spectacular Mint (@rgtag)! The girlypop is real and I'm so sorry she is!

Olympia can't help but snicker a bit more at the other's response, casually reclining back until she's staring up at the sky. It's definitely a lot nicer of an introduction than she expected after crash-landing somewhere after an unintentional universe-hop. Those usually go rather poorly, if not catastrophic. So just a nice respite was a good change of pace from the norm.

Still, ear twitches as Scourge asks how she pulled off the clone trick from before, propping herself up on her elbows as she mulls the question over. It wouldn't hurt, she thought, even if she saw the other do that quick burst of speed to keep Slash from eating (more) crayons.

"Oh, y'mean -" There's that slight fuzziness of high-speeds, as another Olympia is crouching down on the opposite side of Scourge as well. "- this one, yeah?"

Both looked to one another, giving a bit of a wave to show off just a smidgen before they continued.

"It's mostly a speed thing, though a lil' bit o' chaos energy goes a long way t' keep 'em stable. Really, there's just one o' me here, but with a dash of slowed time - not a lot - ya can more solidify 'em. The banter's the hardest part. Takes awhile t' be able to bounce off yourself, since ya gotta time everything for... well, everyone else."

The reclining Olympia vanishes, now, leaving just the squatting one grinning rather proudly of her display of speed.

If he wasn't so embarrassed by his own tendency to nervously gnaw on things, he'd probably chime in on the shared habit. Makes sense he supposes - most of the reason he still wears his gloves is to keep himself from chewing his claws down to dull nubs. (Perhaps this was where Slash got the habit from?)

He does let out a cackle as he imagines the scene in his head of the blue speedster chewing on a stick, perhaps because it clashed so much with his own tendency to put his counterparts on such pedestals.

"Eh, everyone's got their habits." He remarks after he composes himself, unconsciously brushing his nose with his thumb before resting his elbows on his knees.

...this is all going much smoother than he expected. He's starting to realize through his semi-dazed state that she has no reason to know who the hell he is besides some random hedgehog with a vague resemblance. Probably means she'd be more amenable to sharing certain information that she might otherwise, and there was one thing Olympia had done that had stuck with Scourge.

"...that whole clone thing ya did earlier, how'd you pull that off? Is it just a goin' fast enough deal or is there like... some trick to it?" The shorter speedster rolls an open hand as he asks this, piecing together the words as he goes along.

"Y'know, kinda got a bad track record wit' the whole 'researcher and/or scientist' thing. It's funny how many times it's happened, really."

Olympia couldn't have foreseen the other hiding herself amidst the hailstorm of meteors, especially so when it so perfectly happened because of Blaze using one of the hedgehog's own moves against her. There's that same excited little grin back on her face when the other reveals herself, at least, until the realization of what's about to surely hit her comes to mind.

"Wuh-oh--" She got out, just an instant before the explosion that propelled Blaze's legs into her head sent the hedgehog rocketing back down toward the earth; sword dissipating in her hand as she loses concentration on it.

There's a hiss of pain as the world spun, the glittering gold Olympia trying to regain her bearings as she's being sent plummeting. While she's got plenty of experience fighting in this form, at least compared to Blaze, she's really feeling her inexperience when it came to others of her general size and skill level with it. A glance downwards to the quickly approaching ground the two were falling toward-

She more felt it than realized. Exploiting the other's fear of heights felt a little uncouth, but it was either that or take the other's follow-up that would surely finish her off with just a singular Emerald fueling this transformation. A glance up at her, those crimson eyes locking with hers as that little smirk came onto her face.

That moment that drags on as said smirk moves while Olympia spoke. The sound of their descent perhaps drowning out the words, but not the intent as Olympia blips out of existence. A moment later, all of that downward momentum the feline had came to a sudden stop--

"Chaos Control." The words caught up, it seems, just in time for the hedgehog to begin spinning with Blaze in tow.

"Y' wanna get down? Here," she begins, as the two became a sideways tornado of golden speed from her rapid movement, "lemme give ya a hand!"

With that, she releases the tail, hurling Blaze back down the rest of the way toward the ground as several spheres of golden energy rocket after to pepper her down into the earth after the collision while Olympia recovers from her very recently obtained head trauma. She forgot how much it could hurt if something managed to get through the buffer the Super form gave her.

In the chaos of the encroaching firestorm the other was forced to contend with, not hair nor tail of the blazing feline could be spotted under the cover of smoke and fire. The pink flare had disappeared.

Seemingly so, at least, until that final swing of her sword unleashed waves of gold upon the remaining meteors in a brilliant explosion of chaos & fire... almost all bursting upon meeting it, save one fireball which suddenly maneuvered over the cascade of gold, avoiding it entirely as it continued it's trajectory towards the hedgehog.

Fireball uncurling & wreath flames spreading thin as Blaze unfolded herself from the ball she'd curled herself into, using one of the other's own trademarked techniques to mask her approach as a meteor.

Smirking at her face-to-face for just an instant before her body continued in the momentum of the spin-dash, flipping forwards right over the other's sword and, just as her legs crested at the uppermost point of the movement, unleashed a deafening boom as she triggered a condensed explosion to launch her legs like a shotgun blast- coming down upon the other in a devastating dual axe-kick. Intent on spiking Olympia straight downward towards the Earth, aura of fire bursting like a second sun in the sky as she blasted after her Launching herself like a spear seeking to skewer her.

... even if, as she's flying straight downward after that golden glow, from this great of a height they'd both flown to... she can't help but wince. Just an instant of apprehension amidst her pursuit.

That can make all the difference fighting at these speeds, though.

Goalkeeper and Olympic heroine: Ann-Katrin Berger is footballer of the year

Goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger receives a high award - and criticizes: "They no longer want players aged 33 in the European leagues."

From former cancer patient to penalty hero at the Olympics and now Germany's footballer of the year: goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger has won the vote organized by "Kicker" for the first time and is the successor to Alexandra Popp. "I never expected that and had to digest it first. It's a nice feeling," said the 33-year-old from the US club NJ/NY Gotham FC. "It's very rare for goalkeepers to win titles like that.

The only goalkeeper to receive this award so far was Silke Rottenberg in 1998. Second behind Berger (144 votes) was Giulia Gwinn from FC Bayern (71). Third place went to Lena Oberdorf (66), who moved from VfL Wolfsburg to Munich and was absent from the Olympics due to cruciate ligament surgery.

Berger had only been promoted to number one by interim national coach Horst Hrubesch at the Olympic Games in place of long-time regular goalkeeper Merle Frohms. He enabled the Swabian-born player to have a dream tournament - after very difficult times: Berger had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer twice in recent years - most recently in 2022 during the European Championships. Both times she was back on the pitch within a few months.

Berger had to overcome “many obstacles”

“Anne is not only a strong goalkeeper, but also an impressive personality who has had to overcome many adversities and has always fought her way back,” praised Hrubesch.

Berger says she experienced her "happy ending" at the Olympics: in the quarter-final against Canada, she saved two shots in the penalty shootout before taking the penalty herself and scoring. In the match for third place against the world champions from Spain, Berger saved a penalty from Alexia Putellas in the ninth minute of injury time. She thereby secured the German team a 1-0 win and the coveted bronze medal.

No guarantee of Wück’s regular place

"I just wanted to play football again. I knew I wasn't finished yet," said Berger. The former Chelsea FC, Paris Saint-Germain and Turbine Potsdam player combined the late appreciation with criticism: "You have to say it clearly - and I experienced it myself - they don't want players at the age of 33 in the European leagues. Then you're apparently no longer good enough." It's completely different for goalkeepers, but apparently that's the case in women's football.

Despite her late rise, Hrubesch's successor Christian Wück has left the question of who the future goalkeeper will be open. "For me there are two number ones," said the 51-year-old at his presentation on Friday in Frankfurt am Main. (dpa)

Notes:

The episode timestamps might not be totally accurate since I was watching this on a... ahem... legal website.

The timestamps are from when you could clearly and obviously see the shop signs. Like, Ziga's is visible from like episode one but couldn't be clearly read.

Some of the comics were just in shop windows and not really associated with a character so be careful. That is not a list of every comic the turtles have read. Like the Timely Times has only been in the background, not read by a particular turtle.

There were LOADS of shops where the shop name was in Chinese (or Japanese, I don't know) and so I couldn't list. Most of the shops by the Chinatown arch weren't in english. That's why even Murakami's shop isn't listed here. Because the actual shop name wasn't in english.

Lucy : So what does it make for us to be so reliable in these here parts of Greece?

Erza : Oh I don't know. I mean, Greece is okay. This is where the Olympics originated at, it's probably a home to the Gods of the Earth.

Lucy : Oh yeah, I know lot about Greece, ancient history, facts about the Gods of Greece, famous warriors like the Spartans, and Mount Olympus. But what about mythology?

Erza : Mythology? Oh yeah, Mythology, it's a great historical fact mythology is all about powers of the Gods, lot of warriors came to be in the name of Sparta and Olympia. But I think it's clearly satisfying that this is a wonderful paradise. But I think we will get along with this new profound ways of seeing the good ways of Olympus, I mean "Good ol days of Olympus".

Lucy : Olympus is, Olympus does. Mykonos and Santorini are great inspirations for Windmill Isle. But what does Greece have to do with the Mykonos and Santorini thing in the Sega Worlds. Something like Blue Coast or Water Palace Zone, I think those places are based on the islands of Mykonos and Santorini. You sure about Greece having weird suspicions of Kratos?

Erza : Kratos. Yeah, he's probably in greatest desires of going against the Gods.

Lucy : Hercules? The hero of Greece?

Erza : Such a fine pleasant way to care of things for the great hero of Greece himself. But he do cherish things for Meg.

Lucy : Hades?

Erza : Still thinking about Hercules after foiling his plans.

Lucy : Underworld?

Erza : Not as a good as always, but the Underworld is really a good place of Greece in Mythology. Now I've seen all the glorious details in all of Greece. Let's just that Greece is the wonderful that is the birthplace of the Olympics and the home of the Gods, as well as the Windmill Isle. Thinking about it. I just don't know why is it so hard to find the details about this world complaining the secrets of Greece? Is it something about the place of torment. Blades of Olympus, Chains of Olympus, and everything else Olympus has done something for Maybe Olympus can be the great source of the Gods. Greece has been pulling the strings when Zeus reign over mortals against the God of War himself Ares.

Lucy : Ares, what does Area know about God of War? I've seen Natsu playing that game when he was at the debut preview during the days of you being Clear Heart Force's elite. I've seen everything about playing a God of War stuff, but I thought Mars was the God of War, oh, that's the name of a planet.

Erza : Yeah, yeah. Same as ever. Well, Greek Yogurt and this Moussaka is quite delight. I find it tasty! It's really good with the textures and flavor, but I have a common sense that this iconic dish taste better like lasagna and more importantly, it's very exquisite and edible to eat.

Lucy : Maybe you are right, heck! Who knows maybe we can a little free time in this wonderful friendship of ours.

Happy : But what about the Underworld's second coolest place of all? I bet Greece's underworld second place could be Hades's locker room, or even his secret stash, or probably his room full of drips.

Erza : Well, yeah, you said that. I would probably tell jellal about this arc incident thing with Natsu going on. Hope he doesn't bite on my "Tail" feathers about this incident.

Lucy : Well, glad we are having this conservation so well, Erza. But never forgot to mention that the Underworld's deep abyss, AKA "Tartarus" or "Tartaros" as we call it--

Erza : Wait. "Tartarus?" What do you know about "Tartarus" or "Tartaros"?

Lucy : It's one of them places that Hades had in the abyss, it's used as a dungeon for tormenting and suffering for the wicked, eh? And it's also the name of the guild that we encounter.

[River Twygz Bed theme plays]

Erza : Tartaros? Guild? Dungeon? Torment? A place of suffering?

*Voices overlapping*

Erza : No...Not that place...Not that name...That name that...we had to suffer and I was lucky enough what would happen if we were slaved in Tartaros for all eternity or whatsoever. Not what happened after that She-devil Kyoka did this to us! I will never forget that.

Lucy : What? You don't remember Tartaros. Tartaros was the name of that guild who we face against, but in the end it turns out that Tartaros has now been sued by Hades for taking the name Tartaros, but let's just to be sure that it ended on all terms on legal cases with the copyrighted names, but thank heavens, I am so fed up with an overrated/underrated guild that tormented us like pieces of trash and garbage.

Happy : Yeah, it's one of the worst things that villains ever did to us, Erza. But...who are we trying to convince?

*the word "Convince" is echoed*

Erza : ....?

Lucy : Erza. Aren't you going to say anything?

Erza : ...(breathes heavily)

Lucy : Erza what's wrong?

Erza : I...Hate...them. Tartaros. Guild. Torment. Bad.

Kon’s been a hero for eight years now and has gotten it down to a science. His days of making naive mistakes are over. That is… until Tim Drake-Wayne throws a wrench in his plans. Or more accurately, a cake.

Supernova and Tim Drake-Wayne are caught getting into an argument at a charity gala, and it ends in buttercream property damage and headlines in the newspapers.

So the Justice League and the Waynes stage a fake friendship between Supernova and Tim Drake-Wayne as damage control. But can they convincingly play along after their long-standing petty hatred? Kon thinks Tim is a stuck-up rich brat, and Tim thinks Kon is a vain showboat. But along the way, Tim and Kon realize there is more to the other person then their previous impressions. Something alluring. And it threatens the tower of secrets the two boys are precariously balancing.

“Hey Timbo…” He drawled, and the man somehow stiffened up even more than he already was. Kon discreetly used his X-ray vision to check if Tim was actually a robot in disguise, but no, he was just an uptight human man. “Does your ass ever get sore from that stick you have jammed up it?”

“Does your jaw get sore from how often you run your mouth?” Tim retorted calmly and sipped on his champagne, cool as anything.

He was so perfectly composed and it only made Kon want to poke at him more — to see what it would take for him to crack.

“I’m invulnerable.” Kon reminded Tim. “It’s part of the Kryptonian package.”

“Does that package also include an incessant need for attention?”

i’m curious, what other games do you play? i play honkai star rail, wuthering waves, and before i played genshin impact and ff ever crisis.

I had to take step back from playing too many games because some of the dailies were becoming very time consuming. Not enough hours in the day to play all the games I want to. 🫠 So the only gachas I’m actively playing right now are Love & Deepspace, Honkai: Star Rail and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Having an auto battle option is so nice on my irl schedule. 🥲 I’m also actively playing the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV! :3

I’m a bit of a gacha addict… so other gachas that I’ve played in the past or ones that I’m on a break from include: Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis, Mister Love: Queen’s Choice, Mystic Messenger, Fate/Grand Order, Love Nikki, Shining Nikki, NU: carnival, Arknights, Azur Lane, Honkai 3rd Impact, Fire Emblem Heroes, Wuthering Waves, What in Hell is Bad?, Zen Zenless Zero, Gran Blue Fantasy, SiNoALICE, The Alchemist Code, Seven Knights Idle Adventure, Reverse: 1999, Dear Otome, Food Fantasy, Isekai: Slow Life, and Pokémon Go (does this count?)

Gachas aren’t the only game I play though. I have a wide collection of otome games in my backlog for switch/PC. Some of my favorite otomes include Bustafellows, Olympia Soirée, Collar x Malice, Variable Barricade, Nightshade, and Steam Prison. I also used to play a lot of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Stardew Valley, Sun Haven, and Sims. Cozy, immersive games like those were my go to during Covid.

Game that I’m looking forward to? INFINITY NIKKI!!

TL;DR. I play way too many games and need to focus on completing my backlog instead of buying more, haha 🙃 Not that I have been anyway. LNDS takes up all of my gacha/games budget. Expensive 3D husbandos…
