When I brought mum to the food court, she can walk one round and finds nothing to eat. On the other hand, if I bought my meal to eat, she will think it look good and will want it too next time. From the same Korean/Japanese stall in Koufu (口福) Food Court, came the Teriyaki Chicken & Chicken Bento and Teriyaki Chicken & Saba Fish Bento for dinner.

A homemade Giardiniera recipe, also known as Italian Pickled Vegetables, is a classic condiment you can easily make yourself and the flavor is so much better than store-bought. It's a great way to preserve vegetables for later use and is perfect on sandwiches and burgers, on an antipasto platter, as a ready-made side dish or as a healthful snack!

I made terryaki chicken with noodles and ramen egg and pickled vegetables. With the leftover chicken, I made okonomoyaki, a japanese pancake. I still have pancake batter left for tomorrow.
The videos for these will be on my instagram: thegoththatbites and I'm considering starting up my food and recipe blog again.

When buying dinner, I always must ask mum what she would like to eat. I would then plan my own meal around hers. At the very least, I would be eating from the same stall or a different stall nearby. A Saba Fish Bento for mum while I took the Teriyaki Chicken & Saba Fish Bento.

PICKLED REFRIGERATOR VEGETABLES
“Have nothing in your houses that that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” – William Morris How exciting it is that spring is right around the corner?! It really made me reflect on the mountains we have moved over our…
