OOC POST, LORE DUMP

It is 21st century. Brothers Wittebane from one of the Connecticut Christian orphanages finally get adopted by Masha Delisle. Philip is exited to get "normal" life within a "proper" family, while Caleb doesnt look as happy about "another prison".

While brothers try to unpack their belongings Caleb sees a strange cloaked figure digging through the trash. Older brother runs after it, curious about who the mysterious person might be. Philip follows them only to stop Caleb and bring him back.

Brothers run through the portal door and enter the demon realm. Immediately after witches and demons see them having rounded ears they call for the guards, screaming in panic. Philip tries to drag Caleb back through the portal door, but it had already disappeared without a trace. So brothers are chased by the coven scouts untill they get rescued by non other than Evelyn, the mysterious trash-theif.

In the owl house two brothers meet Evelyn's aunt Lilith and little demon Queen. They are so exited to meet real humans in flesh and blood! But still, they ask for a favor to help them retrieve the Queens lost "Burger King" crown from the Conformatorium and promise to get brothers home right after that.

But after the first-day adventure Caleb is determined to stay in the Demon Realm. So Philip felt obligated to stay too. So that is how the story starts.

As it later turns out, everything regarding Humans and their realm is considered a great threat to all witches. So it is illegal to even say anything positive about "the round eared folk". Most of the "scary humanity" talk is spread by the tyranical empress Luzura - the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles.

Despite that both Brothers are able to attend Hexide, with the great help and understanding of principal Raine Wispers. There, Caleb befriends young Darius and Alador. Philip joins the "Terror gang" with Terra and Adrian with whom he happily terrorises the school.

For short: Wittebros and Luz switch places so now she’s the evil empress and the bros are modern day humans who entered the demon realm.
