Ratchet has no problem with marrying Pharma specifically, most of his issues are with the principle of forcing two mechs to marry each other... Though it's a loveless marriage, it works out okay, until Ratchet meets Drift, of course... I would actually like to think that he meets Drift through saving his life, just like in canon, but perhaps this time around Ratchet helps get him a job at the hospital later. There's already a bond there by the time Drift starts working, and they get close... Really, I just love the drama potential of Ratchet's colleagues being able to see Drift's coding in his sparkling...

It would be especially frustrating for Pharma if he thought he was in a cute little romance story about falling in love with the mech he was arranged to marry... Guess Ratchet didn't see it like that. When he tries to bring up that he knows Ratchet cheated on him, Ratchet didn't even try to really deny it, he just shrugged and told him that they're only married for the public. Residental lunatic needed an assistant and now they have awkward moments together cause they're both emotionally stunted. That's it that's the premise)

An exhausted animal sits in her little office at the end of the day, the door closed and a blanket around her shoulders. A moments peace usually wasted away by scribbling at reports and schematics. Experiments are more fun, well if you don't mind the rotten work that follows with it. She doesn't, not anymore at least, the blood washes down the drain at the end of the day anyways. There could be better ways at spending time than writing. Sleeping perhaps? Gods what those eyebags under her eyes would give just to get some fucking sleep. The lack of melatonin in Teyvat is a downright blasphemy. Big pharma and American healthcare had its wonderful little perks. Now she works for a man of many faces who you should probably never accept drugs from. Maybe when her courage arises to ask one of the more...softer? Segments for anything akin to horse tranquilizer then maybe. Zeta or Epsilon would probably help she thought, but when one listens the others will no doubtedly start asking as well. Damn Dottore and his connected consciousness. Wait would he help? The assistant tilted her head at the thought before shaking it indignantly. He has enough problems, his segments making up about twenty-four and himself making seventy-five of them. She's not going to be the one that breaks it to a hundred. Forcing her eyes awake and doubling down on the reports in front of her, the clock striking at five when she walks out of her own office and places the papers in a 'Done' folder outside of Dottore's office. A measured knock follows on the door to signify it's delivery, better than bothering him to tell him they're done. A couple segments passing by and nodding at her in greeting, Beta excitedly telling of his latest experiment. Delta notices the exhausted look in her eyes drags him away quickly, a thankful smile given from the assistant in turn. She retires to her office again and props her feet on her desk and leans back in the chair. Despite the futon next to the desk she knows if she falls asleep there she's waking up at 3am feeling like shit. Just for a moment, nobody will probably bother her. She leaves the blanket on the futon and falls asleep, embraced by the cold chill and the arms of the office chair.

POV Change:

A knock sounds at the door, Zandik stands at your office, wanting to go over some of the results from your report earlier. Hoping you haven't gone back to your quarters, or he could always bother you, it's not like you have anything better to do. After no response he checks to make sure your door is locked, surprisingly not. Opening the door slightly he lets out a soft sigh at your appearance. Arms crossed over your chest and head leaning onto your shoulder. He walks into your office quietly and debates waking you up for a moment. Most of his segments have been noticing your decreased energy as of late, a loss of weight as well. He frowns at the idea that you remind him of himself sometimes, though you're not a monster like he is. You've been distancing yourself again, most notably after the 4th anniversary of you appearing in Tevyat.

Should he ask how you're doing?

You'll probably just say you're fine and go back to working. A fools approach to a deer ready to flee at anything unknown. He gently lifts your glasses off your face and sets them on the desk.

Should he move you?

Would you wake up?

He tests his thoughts and leans down to lift up your legs and slides his other arm around the middle of your back. After making sure you don't wake up he moves you onto the futon, startling slightly when you shift around and curl in on your body. The warmth of your body seeps past his gloves and makes him retract his grip from prolonging it's welcome. He eyes the blanket and decides against covering you up, it's much more believable that you wouldn't if you moved yourself. He turns your chair, looks at the scene, and quickly and quietly removes himself from your office. Turning down the thermostat in hopes you wake up cold enough to move back to your own quarters.

Hours Later:

You wake up cold on the futon, looking around confused as your vision was blurred. Looking up to see your glasses setting on your desk, and office chair turned. It wouldn't be the first time you've moved half asleep. As you stood up you put on your glasses, slowly blinking to adjust from waking up you noticed something.

The stack of reports you finished earlier sitting neatly stapled and papercliped. Lying on your desk.

I finally had a Tarnma idea I might actually write. Most of them never go anywhere but this one is a mostly complete concept with beginning, middle, and end not just a few scenes.

It fudges the timeline a bit to have Tyrest occur before Pharma is pushed the final time that leads to Red Rust with some new flacoring of characters. He is still "famously Forged" and his location easily accessible in Autobot records as his posting isn't secret. Tyrest and Star Saber go to retrieve him, his consent not being a needed component. Tyrest does decide to wait until he is alone to do so.

The perfect time being when he has left Delphi to meet with Tarn for a delivery with the T-Cogs. The opener is literally Pharma freezing, and seeing a shadow of a larger mech in the approaching snow and slowly realizing it is not Tarn approaching or any of his team.

Then it immediately switches to an annoyed Tarn arriving at the meeting place to see Pharma absent and is ready to raise hell but notices a blinking through the powdering of snow and finds an online but uncalled comm unit that is Pharma's. This leads him to find a thrown open box of T-Cogs smeared lightly with Energon from the outside. It isn't immediately obvious with the fresh snow, but it is clear Pharma was met with someone unexpected, and there was some struggle before he was taken.

Tarn thinks that their deal may have been revealed and Pharma ambushed by his own, but that wouldn't make sense to leave valuable supplies behind. And if the Autobots were aware, then catching him relatively vulnerable would be more of a coup than Pharma who could have easily been snatched from Delphi without such a struggle.

Later, listening in on the Delphi frequencies it shows that Pharma has been listed as missing and that search parties are being sent out. Tarn feels a certain kind of way about this and prepares to investigate. He feels it is likely connected to him, and Pharma does know some that could potentially be risky, though nothing that would amount to a real leak. Plus, it feels like a slight for someone to be able to snatch his doctor unpunished. But then he gets a read on Black Shadow's signature, and that comes first.

Pharma eventually does make contact with Tarn, rushed and stranged over a quick message on the line he so rarely used. Kaon notes it is sent so quickly to avoid the time needed to be detected on a secure network. This intrigues Tarn as does the information attached. It is Overlord’s location and proof with a dated recording of his Spark signature. This is to lure him and his team to deal with Tyrest.

It last ditch effort by Pharma who is clinging to the need to do one thing right, desire to fuck over Tyrest/Overlord, a bit a vengeance, and certainty he won't survive long once Tyrest loses interests and "gifts" him to Overlord.

He attempted to contact the Autobots, but Prowl was currently possessed by Bombshell, and he was summarily dismissed, mocked, and told that it appears he was in good health after all befofe being hung up on. And he has to stop before he gets caught. He calculates that the DJD are the ones he can lure in the easiest and are the most likely to accept and respond to a message. Upon arrival, they are also the most likely to willingly take on Tyrest, given his very Functionist views and semi-alliance with Overlord, who was initially taken to experiment on One Percenter Sparks. If Pharma is lucky, he can escape on one of the ships there, and they'll kill each other.

I have a ton of ideas about backstory, a fun one I made for this fic that actually ties Pharma, Overlord, and Forestock together. As well as how Dai Atlus may have known some of Shockwave's Outliers, including Damus.

Government schools across the United States must “urgently” prepare to re-impose COVID-style policies on students and staff in response to an expected upcoming pandemic, warned a former high-ranking “public-health” bureaucrat in the Obama administration. Among the key measures: A push for mass vaccination.  

Writing in an article published last month in the left-wing outlet STAT News, the far-left former pandemic official offers wide-ranging advice to school district officials on how to prepare for COVID 2.0 – in this case, likely Bird Flu, or H5N1 Avian Influenza.

Dr. Mario Ramirez, former acting director of the Office of Pandemic and Emerging Threats within the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), warned that the H5N1 Avian Influenza could “jump to humans” in the near future. As such, schools must prepare to deal with it.

The warnings come as a front group for Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the World Economic Forum known as the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) just issued similar warnings.
