Spanish-Style Mansion | Sims 2 Lot Download

This stunning Spanish-style mansion is the perfect multi-generational home for your sims that crave that sea-side lifestyle.

Take in the sunshine from the balcony, or pool, and enjoy curling up with a good book in any of the luxurious living-spaces.

It features 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, but the upstairs library could easily be combined with the sitting room downstairs and be turned into a 4th bedroom.

Isn’t this secluded balcony so pretty? It’s perfect for taking in seaside views, or relaxing after a busy day of work.

Here’s a view of the back of the home, surrounded by a privacy fence. You can also see hints of the flower gardens here. 

To the side of the house is a pool and outdoor dining area.

This home was built with the goal of enjoying the fresh air and beauty of nature as much as possible!

Here’s a close-up of the dining area. I can just imagine peaceful dinners out here at sunset. Sky-boxes and skylines really add to the ambience of the game. I use skies from iCad, and skylines from GreatCheeseCakePersona.

Are you ready to go inside? I’ve done some light decorating throughout, but kept it somewhat generic to allow you to customize it to your sim families tastes.

Here’s a top-down look at the floor-plan for the first and second floors. The arched “bell-tower” is directly above the Master Bathroom. It is not accessible, unless you want to do some remodeling.

The first floor (clockwise from left): Family room, Sitting room, Music room, Formal Dining Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room, Bathroom, and Garage.

The second floor (clockwise from left): Master Bedroom (option 2), Library/Study, Master Bathroom, Master Bedroom (option 1), Main Bathroom, Kid’s Bathroom, Kid’s Bedroom, and the Balcony patio.

It opens out onto the balcony: You’ll have to pardon the lighting a bit here. I love my lighting mod, but there are a few lines near the roof... And then there’s the issue with one of the flower pots (but the wall-placement lighting is 100% EA’s problem).

Have you heard of “The Perfect Plate”? To help the body to relax, the blood sugar needs to be balanced for a long period of time. Skipping meals, dieting, fasting,… all puts stress on the body and therefore stresses the nervous system. A LOT of people are walking around with an inflamed nervous system (most of us). This causes the body to hold onto water and everything starts to ache more, because our body is inflamed. The Perfect Plate concept is to have the following at every meal, timed at the same time every day: 1. A healthy fat or a healthy protein 2. A healthy starch (I always do gluten free, non GMO whenever possible) 3. A vegetable (raw or steamed) Optional: a small fruit portion This balanced “Perfect Plate” keeps the body full for a longer period of time, which helps to relax the body. When we know when our next meal is coming and we eat small balanced portions at regular intervals, then our body can relax and it knows that it doesn’t have to hoard food (and store it as fat). So the concept of “a perfect plate” helps the body to relax over time. Add in a few extra glasses of water (with a pinch of organic lemon juice) and your body will start to detox and get rid of excess fat. I’ve also been going to bed earlier and I’ve set sleep as a higher priority. I learned recently through my health coaching course that the mind LOVES spontaneity, but that the body NEEDS routine! So as a form of self love, I have been putting a lot of effort into having more routine for my body. So far, I have felt more energy and have had less aches and pains. My skin is more glowing and life feels happier. Small steps add up. 💪 Do one extra thing each week and it really starts to add up! The routine becomes manageable. Message me if you need help. Large White Farmhouse | Sims 2 Lot Download

So many of you loved my little white farmhouse a few years ago, that I thought you might also enjoy this larger white farmhouse.

It features a bigger garden plot than my original little white farmhouse had and an old abandoned orchard. (You will need to add sprinklers to this garden since I forgot to!)

I built this home a few years back for one of my children’s sim families, and just recently finished updating and redecorating it.

One of my favorite things about this house are all the porches and places to sit back and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. Flowers and gardens are my happy place, and maybe they’ll be soothing to your sims too.

Here’s the old swing set in the side-yard, with the orchard in the background.

Now let’s take a look at the floorplan. Right now this home is set up to be a 3 bedroom home, but the sewing room/Study could easily be remodeled into a 4th bedroom.

First Floor: Clockwise from left: kitchen, breakfast nook, bathroom, family room, living room, entry, formal dining room, and garage.

Second Floor: Clockwise from left: Sewing room/Study (optional bedroom), bathroom, kid’s bedroom 1, master suite with bathroom and office nook, hallway, and kid’s bedroom 2.

Basement: Workout area, cold storage/cellar (for all those fruits and veggies your garden will grow!), and laundry room.

- Feed regularly all year round but change the fertiliser according to the season. Use a high nitrogen feed specifically for citrus from mid spring through to September. During the winter, citrus plants benefit from a winter feed which is higher in phosphorous and potassium. This will help the plant to develop fruits.

- February is the ideal time to prune. You can gently re-shape your tree by about two thirds, where necessary. This will encourage new growth. You can also take out any twigs and shoots which are too close together. Watch out for leaf-drop. These trees are evergreen and should stay green for most of the year.  

- The fruits often first appear during late winter months and they will gradually swell until ripe for picking. It’s a good idea to restrict the number of fruits on a young plant to around four.
