Wasn't gonna put in another ask so soon, but I've gotta know; how have Cosmo and Anti-Cosmo swapped courts so many times? What was it like the first (and maybe the last) time(s) it happened?

How? Due to their overwhelming magic of course!! Cosmo was the most powerful baby to be born in Fairyworld at the time. His emotional dysregulations was more than enough to trigger a swap.

Growing up, Anti-Cosmo had to help his counterpart control his outbursts and magic, just to make the swaps stop. He's the reason Cosmo hadn't fully destroyed Fairy World. As a result, these two are closely bonded in ways that no other Fairy or Anti-Fairy tend to be.

It's something their sons have in common.

Levi: C’mon-… Penny: You look even more like a ridiculous loser without your uniform on, by the way. Wren: Takes one to know one-.. who’re you dressed up as, Budget Barbie? Penny: Excuse me?! [Penny’s mouth hung open in shock, the audacity!] Penny: Uh, Levi. [Levi blinked as Penny addressed him, realising he probably ought to defend his girlfriend] Levi: At least she doesn’t look like a scrub. Wren: [scoffs] I’m the scrub? Pot kettle black, acting like that-.. both of you. Penny: [whispers] What is she talking about? Byrd: Even I know what that means. [Robin mightn’t have laughed if it weren’t for the look on Levi’s face, but he couldn’t help it] Penny: Oh sure, you can make a sound when it’s to laugh at someone else-.. prick! Levi: Let’s just go. Byrd: Bye, I guess. … Wren: Why would he wanna go out with someone so snooty? Byrd: Probably ‘cause she’s pretty. Robin: You think? Byrd: No! I love the idea that everything (positive) that Lila lies about somehow comes true for Marinette.

Lila lies about having connections to the queen of England? Suddenly, Marinette is getting regular commissions from the queen herself and forms quite the acquaintance-ship w the royal family.

Lila "is practically family" to an Italian mafia? Marinettes grandmother has quite an eccentric background, and through her, Marinette somehow manages to get a local Italian Mafia to pseudo-adopt her. (Only because she refused to actually be adopted, much to their disappointment)

Lila "went on tour" with Jagged Stone? Guess who wants his favorite designer to accompany him for his U.S. tour during the summer?

Oh, Lila says she acted in a movie for Graham de Vanily Films? Guess who ends up accidentally staring in a Graham de Vanily film?

I just want all the positive things that Lila lies about to happen to Marinette, who is sufficiently surprised every time (you'd think she'd be used to it by now), meanwhile, in the background, Lila gets progressively more pissed.

And the worst part? Every time she tries to upstage Marinette with something even bigger and grander than Marrinettes' own accomplishments? No matter how ridiculous, Marinette somehow ends up stumbling upon That. Exact. Opportunity.

It's incredibly frustrating.

You could say Marinette has some miraculous luck, despite how adamantly Tikki denies any involvement in these increasingly ridiculous turns of events.

All in all; Lila is frustrated, Marinette is frustrated, and Tikki is very amused (as are Adrien and Plagg, who watch this shit-show from the background).

so i have this au called "the mage's heir" where davy never gives simon up after lucy's death and, instead, makes the decision to raise him alone. and kinda does okay! davy is still all *snazzy piano riff* and shit, but in this verse, taking care of simon when he's small forces him to step away from his work and chill the fuck out a bit. at least for a little while. (simon winds up growing up into a signficiantly more arrogant and morally grey version of himself tho.)

i am so. upset. in bridge when maya says her profession is "assistant manager at wright & co. law offices". oh girl i am so sorry your family duties have caused you so much pain and i am so grateful you have phoenix to lean into when there's literally nothing left. but it is so heartbreaking. in the trilogy, in order, she's dealt with: her sister's murder, being framed for her sister's murder, being framed for dr. grey's murder by her own aunt, being kidnapped, and then being kidnapped possessed AND watching her own mother's murder while being framed for it. and pearl set it up unknowingly. who suffered more maya fey or jesus christ. of COURSE she's gonna lean into the ONLY safe connection she has left. the only person who she can trust to fight and save her no matter the situation, no matter what happens to her, phoenix would do ANYTHING for her, no strings attached, no higher priority than her that can override his concerns. yeah.
