I came across your story "Flypaper" about the superhero convention (Fun read! Highly recommend!) and I was just wondering if you had any other interaction headcanons that didn't make the final draft?
Oh thank you... and oh, yes. I didn't include him because I knew no one would know who he is, but I love one special, incredibly charming boy... King Off-Putting himself... Bruno :)
He is so very... uncomfortable to be around.
I had one line referencing Bruno and Danny in "Flypaper" but hhh... Dead Boy Duo, my beloved... I want them to be friends so bad, I want them to be sassy partners in the field, I want this with all my soul. They're brothers in spirit... Their moms have the same voice actor... Please, they would be so funny together.
I know there are oodles of fictional spy agencies in media, but I've always been a Bruno the Kid fan at heart. Ever since I first watched Danny Phantom, I've loved the idea of Globe getting in touch with Danny post-"Phantom Planet" and inviting him into the agency... Sometimes Bruno's villains canonically die instead of going to jail and I think Bruno and Danny would be a silly pair. Two "dead" (they got better!) cartoon boys goofing off and takin' names.
Specifically, Chick E. Love would have a flippin' field day burning holes in the Ghost Zone, unleashing wave after wave of ghosts into the world, and I just really want Bruno to do his "If I ever use a spy gadget the way it's intended I will die" schtick while Danny keeps dumping all the Fenton ghost-hunting gear on him...
I want the sassy boys to drive everyone up the wall. Bruno tolerated being bullied for about 5 seconds and then ruined that kid's life slkdjf. Cheerfully told Cy what he wanted to put on his tombstone. He does not mess around. I want Bruno to straight-up kill a man again and Danny to lose his mind.
Bruno is the boy who ran gleefully towards an electric fence with intent to climb it. He literally targeted HIMSELF with a missile in an attempt to win a chess game. I want the crossover joy of Danny throwing himself at everything that might kill Bruno and Bruno just Does Not Sweat It... Stupid.
[More under the cut]
Anyway yeah I have very normal feelings about "Dead Boy Walking" as an episode. Bruno's enemies pinning him down and injecting a terminal disease in his system... Bruno stumbling around until he hallucinates his best friend giving him self-care advice... Bruno quietly sitting down and staring into the void, separating himself from the ongoing conversation, instead of engaging in his usual banter... Boy crosses Australia on borrowed time, his legs give out beneath him at the worst moment, he's still wheezing about how he's going to do everything in his power to save others, just a little kid lying on the cold floor alone while Sydney gloats that he only has minutes left to live... His enemies making out over his unmoving body... I am so normal about this episode.
I just want Bruno and Danny to be friends :) I think they would vibe with each other even though they'd both want to bonk the other on the head. I so very badly want to see the first moment Danny realizes "Oh... Oh, this guy's, like... serious. He will kill people if I take my eyes off him." sldkfj Bruno's so intense and I love him. Danny is so tired and I love him. I want to see the first moment Bruno blearily wakes up to realize Danny just saved him from a ghost's revenge attack in the middle of the night. I love the Dead Boy Duo.
I only threw one line about these two hanging out in "Flypaper," but in my heart they spent the whole convention together because they're co-workers... they are buddies, your honor.
I do not think WordGirl would like Bruno at all because he comes off as a smarmy, know-it-all creep to those who aren't familiar with his sense of humor... Kid Math should not be left alone with him because he's very impressionable and Bruno is a terrible influence slkjdf.
Here's a little deleted scene I had:
I also had a loose draft for a scene of WordGirl and Super Why getting milkshakes with some other hero friends when Kid Math finds them again. WordGirl greets him like "Oh, how's your day going?" and Kid Math is just... very overwhelmed from his experience of interacting with two fast-paced sassy kids while he's still struggling to grasp the concept of superhero banter. Like. Bruno and Danny would destroy him. Blow his mind. There's no coming back from that.
So yeah, Bruno was definitely at the convention... I just didn't show him apart from that one-liner about him hanging out with Danny. "Flypaper" was really fun to write. I don't plan to do a crossover like this again any time soon, but the convention was a cool setting to explore and I'm glad you enjoyed! <3
One of my favorite stupid jokes in "Flypaper" is that Romeo was being a troublemaker in the daytime and WordGirl asked if he was "even allowed to do that" since he's supposed to be a "nighttime villain" in the PJ Masks lore... But tbh I watched a lot of Romeo clip compilations before this story and ?? apparently it's just a thing that Romeo regularly commits crime during the day and the PJ Masks literally hang back and wait until nightfall before they fight him?? That's SO funny to me.
(I also don't understand when the PJ Masks sleep and if anyone has the answer, please drop it in my inbox because I'd love to know but I also don't want to binge the series over this, ha ha)
I also wanted to make a joke about Alphapig being 5 years younger than the rest of the Super Readers because the amount I lost my mind when I saw that on the [unsourced] Super Why wiki was indescribable. POV: One of your friends is a princess, at least one is in college, and you're starting high school.
(I'm dying at the idea of three 10-year-olds running around Storybrook Village and there's a 5-year-old tagging along with them. The mental image of 7-year-old Whyatt taking a 3 or 4-year-old pig under his wing as his new friend... Such a good boy.)
After Tobey launched Romeo off his robot, I had WordGirl catch him, but I'd originally hoped to have Kick Buttowski catch him because I thought writing cool skateboard rescue mission would be fun. It seemed like it would just be shoving in an extra character who didn't need to be there, though, and it risked dragging down the scene with introductions and descriptions, but in my heart, Kick was at the convention too. Extreme.
I think another of my fave dumb jokes was just... WordGirl approaching the superhero panel she's supposed to speak on, she looks out into the crowd, but then she's like "Oh no the entire Paw Patrol are watching me, this is so much pressure."
Nothing to see here, just Baby Dog Squad taking notes... I still think about that randomly throughout the day and giggle. I love this 'fic.
#Danny Phantom#Bruno the Kid#WordGirl#Super Why#PJ Masks Romeo#Kid Math#Dead Boy Duo#Flypaper#I have seen the Paw Patrol movie twice with no show context and it's really good and I highly recommend tbh#It's a superhero movie but they get stuck in traffic / have breakdowns / get hurt by falling buildings it's so good#Opening scene is a guy disappointed to be saved by dogs and Chase is like 'You're in shock so I'm not gonna take that personally'#Not to be dramatic but Bruno/Leecy is literally my favorite OTP of all time... they love and support each other SO MUCH#Boy really waited two hours for her to arrive late to a concert and instead of complaining took her hand and bought her ice cream#He called and asked her to hack into secret gov't files and she was down without even knowing he's a spy... I love Leecy#I am so very normal about the series finale hooooooly cow#asks#Anon#ridwriting#Sassy kinderspy and co#Going ghost!#apparently art#Grammar queen#Arithmetic Lad#Main Phantom trio#Recommendation Wednesday#None of these is Wednesday#Read Mores are still glitchy if anyone was wondering :)

#23: “The Miraculous Ladybug Movie May Give You What You Want, but My Show Gives You What You Actually Need! You Don’t Work in Television, so You Wouldn’t Understand.”
I've been running this blog for almost three years at this point, and I've seen Astruc talk trash about various things while claiming his show is better, like Winx Club, Paw Patrol, Pokemon, and Pixar as a whole. I never thought I'd see Astruc act like his show was better than a movie based on his show though.
For those who don't know (and you'd be forgiven, seeing how Astruc has barely talked about it on his Twitter), there was recently a movie that hit theaters based on Miraculous Ladybug called Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie. Supposedly, it's meant to be a retelling of how Marinette and Adrien met as civilians and as heroes. While I haven't seen it, it seems to be getting good reception, with some saying it's better than the show it's based on.
Of course, Astruc had something to say about this.
Okay, I sort of get what he's trying to say here. It's hard to compare the experience of watching an hour and a half long movie and a TV show with five seasons under its belt, but at the same time, the way Astruc phrased it still made it seem like he was trying to say the show was the better option because it “gives you what you need”. Nobody was expecting the Love Square to be resolved in a few episodes. Most people at least wanted more stories about the two to be told that don't involve constant padding. Astruc also acts like the Love Square is the only draw for the series instead of, oh, I don't know, the superhero action? You're really telling me they couldn't have tried focusing more on that after resolving the Love Square? I'm just saying, if The Office can continue after Jim and Pam got together, you can at least try to actually write other stories after the Love Square becomes canon.
One user in particular had some things to say in response to Astruc's claims, and you can guess how well Astruc took that.
Again, nobody is saying that working in television is all sunshine and rainbows, Astruc, but just because someone isn't familiar with dealing with network constraints and test audiences, it doesn't mean that they're unable to provide any meaningful criticism.
Also, Astruc is once again using a psychology term, in this case, the Dunning-Kruger Effect, to act like he's smarter than the critics. This man took psychology as an elective in college, didn't he?
But then again, this is coming from someone who doesn't think constructive criticism is a real thing.
Funny how he once again acts like anything that isn't positive feedback of his show is delusional, isn't it?
Eventually, this devolved into Astruc posting a little tangent about how fandoms have only gotten more toxic, which would have been a decent point... it if didn't come after all the things he said about fans not being able to criticize his show.
Again, there's nothing wrong with what he's trying to say here, but it feels less like a critique of how fans have become more toxic with the advent of the internet, and more like he's complaining about how mean people have been to him lately.
And, of course, this led to the usual fare of people calling out Astruc for his close mindedness, and Astruc once again saying how people aren't allowed to criticize his show in any way that isn't blind praise.
And here's the thing. We're still not done yet. This little tangent only warranted more comments about how Astruc handles criticism, only this time, it's also about calling out the people who think they can do a better job handling the show.
First, do you mind giving us an example of what kind of constraints you have to deal with, Astruc? We all know that TV executives suck, but I think we'd have more of a reason to understand your struggles if you actually explained some things that needed to be changed because of executive meddling.
Second, nobody wants a beach episode, Astruc, especially after that one issue of the comic you're choosing to ignore. We just want a more consistent story that doesn't rely on endlessly padding out the Love Square.
And finally, did you just say you have to be French if you want to rewrite Miraculous Ladybug? What does being French have to do with any of this? I remember seeing a little tweet a few years ago suggesting you would be a good choice to write a Superman story, but last time I checked, you aren't American.
Let's review in case you got lost. Someone tweeted that they thought the Miraculous Ladybug movie did a better job at the story it set out to tell than the Miraculous Ladybug TV show, Astruc tried to explain how his show is still good in its own way while justifying how long it's been going on for, he ranted and raved at fans for daring to criticize his team's writing before going on a tangent about how the internet has made people more hostile over the years, and when people still weren't happy with him, he claimed that you could only criticize or rewrite the show if you're an experienced French TV writer like him.
So just keep that in mind, fanfic writers. Unless you're French and have experience writing for television, you don't have a chance in hell to successfully write your own version of Miraculous Ladybug.

hihi!!! could i possibly request some regressor young neil (scott pilgrim) headcanons or a moodboard?? no pressure- the headcanon has just been on my mind hehe

🚀 | I can 100% do that! Thank you so much for requesting^^ love your content btw! I hope you enjoy:]
💙 : the type of baby to prefer naps over being awake when regressed. Don't get me wrong— he loves to play video games, watch every cartoon he can stumble onto and hang out with friends or family. However naps is something that keeps him calm literally 80 percent of the time. If he doesn't get his naps he will be a very cranky boy
💙 : his favorite little food(s) is anything involving ice cream or Mac and cheese. He highly prefers ice cream over Mac and cheese and everything else, but he isn't that picky. He gets what he can get, and he'll end up being neutral about it. If he were to hold a grudge about it; he'd forget about it within two hours
💙 : very very quiet around people. He's like the kid in your class who rarely talks at all. (Or socialize much in class). He's exactly like that most of the time. Just hand him a controller or a comic book and you won't even notice he's there.
💙 : is pretty liquid with his agere age and isn't sure what his age is. But all he knows is that he regresses younger than 10. Not much older than that. (I think hes either a infant or toddler regressor)
💙 : a very sweet baby. Will ask for cuddles from his babysitters and CGs whenever the opportunity is there. He will also follow them around while he's glued to his games. He will let you play his games, but only because he wants to watch and do commentary on your gameplay.
💙 : his little hobbies are mostly him napping, playing games or reading. But sometimes he will color for his friends or redraw scenes from his books.
💙 : I feel like when little he'd play animal crossing, red dead redemption and minecraft. He finds comfort in those games. When it comes to books the majority of it is comics. Such as manga or superheros (DC and Marvel)
💙 : steals his babysitters/caretakers shirts and or hoodies. You can't get them off of him because before you can, he's asleep. Sometimes he likes to tease about it when he's big because he knows nobody has the guts to wake him up. So he's pretty slick when it comes to getting what he wanted
💙 : doesn't have a permanent caregiver per say, but he looks up to Stephen Stills alot more than other people. He see's him as an influence and father figure enough as it was. So he trusts him to be his caregiver
💙 : owns 'too many' agere gear for one person. But it's often than not that he's spoiled rotten. But he doesn't mind it
💙 : he's probably a bluey and paw patrol fan. Change my mind

Marshall Merchandise Update!
Got some interesting new additions for my collection to show off today! Eventually, I need to show everything off again... as soon as I get things organized again. I still have items I bought from early last year that I still haven't found a spot for yet. I've been slacking! lol
First off, this lapel pin... being graciously held up by Wolf O'Donnell. There's probably a "can't let you do that" joke in here somewhere, but I can't think of any right off hand. 😅
This was actually sent to me by a friend, who recently paid a visit to Nickelodeon Universe (an indoor theme park). While she was there, she seen this and got it for me, hoping it was something I didn't have. Fortunately, it wasn't! A fine item for my collection, indeed! She'll likely see this post later, so if you're reading this, thank you again!
Actually, I believe she also went a year or two ago and managed to find the Meet & Greet Marshall wandering around. She even got a picture & video with him, too. I was quite envious! 😄
Next, this "magic towel" thing. It's also being held up by another wolf - this time, it's Wolf Link, from "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess". Can you tell I'm a bit of a Nintendo gamer? lol
Anyhoo, I was just doing some shopping with my mother in a dollar store when I happened to stumble upon this. It was only $1.25, so... why not get it? The artwork isn't the best, but hey, I still like it.
Next, one of those "Good 2 Grow" snack containers! Actually, funny story about this one. I was at a gas station, not expecting to see anything pertaining to PAW Patrol, when I seen one of these that someone left at the front near the cashier. However...
It was actually one of Zuma, which surprised me, since they usually pass him up to focus on the main four. I meant to post about it on Twitter/X, but like usual, I forgot. In any case, I decided to track one down, and I soon found one of Marshall at Walmart. It was the last one, too! Unless I'm mistaken, they also had one of Liberty, so I guess they went beyond just the six original pups this time. Nice!
As you might recall, we've actually seen products like this before, about a year or two ago. Back then, it was just the pups in their regular outfits. This time, they went with a superhero theme, no doubt due to The Mighty Movie. I'm not sure why they went with Super Paws and not the Mighty Movie outfits, but maybe these were easier to mold. Who knows, but hey, I quite like it when older outfits get brought back, instead of them getting forgotten in the sands of time.
I just wish we could see THIS outfit again someday. It had a brief reappearance in that "Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay" video game, but that's it so far. Sadly, at this point, I doubt we'll ever see it again.
Er... guess I got a little distracted here, sorry!
Last, and absolutely not least, is this brand new item! Something I knew about for many months and couldn't wait to get a hold of one for myself! It's "Storytime with Marshall" by Leap Frog!
(In hindsight, taking these pictures in front of my monitor may not have been the best idea. Hopefully they're not too hard to see. 😅)
This thing is legitimately super awesome! They really got his likeness down so well here! I mean, seriously, just look at it! It's so cute! It's easily one of the best pieces of merch I've got in my collection now!
According to the box, it can do quite a lot. It includes 40+ stories, which I assume are based on various episodes (I haven't listened to them yet, but I also assume they focus on different pups, going by the buttons on the front... yeah, it's a shame there's no Rocky or Zuma again, I know). It has a sleep timer, to help lull the little ones to sleep at night before shutting off and all that. Additionally, it teaches "core learning skills" or something, whatever that means. That's cool and all, but of course, for me, I just wanted it because I absolutely love how it looks. It'll look great on one of my shelves! lol
I'll admit, I'm glad this came out before the new animation style got applied. While I like Marshall's updated season 11 look so far (I might make a separate post about that later), his original design is still my #1 favorite. A part of me hopes to keep collecting more merchandise of THIS Marshall, but I know that, by next year, they'll probably retire this design and start using the new one, permanently. Guess I'll enjoy it while it lasts. 😅
And that's all for now! I currently have another item coming in the mail; Marshall's new Rescue Wheels big wheel vehicle + figurine. It's been delayed, but it's supposed to show up at some point next week. Hopefully, the remaining Rescue Wheels merchandise will show up in stores soon enough, and I'll be able to show them all off soon. I might also have to buy a Boomer figurine, too. lol

now i do think a very subtle thing watchmen got right and the boys didn't is how... in watchmen, superheroes stop being a popular fictional trope once they are realized. they used to have superhero comics in-universe, but after the masks and dr. manhattan the popular thing is pirates again. because that's the nature of escapist fiction! once it is realized in-universe, it loses its appeal. on the other hand in the boys it's like superheroes are the ONLY media they have EVER for ANYTHING which is, while extremely funny in its own right and i get the joke, you can't tell me you just don't have fucking pokemon or paw patrol in-universe.

Paw Patrol and Fnaf
Pretty weird Crossover that crossed my mind a moment ago but what if Ryder from Paw Patrol and Gregory would meet?
A child who is from a cartoonish innocent world with superhero pups and a child/pre-teen from a horror game. I wonder how that would go...
2. Would Gregory teach Ryder how to be more chaotic? To dare things and take risks. That sacrifices have to be made. That he cannot always win and save everyone?
3. How would they influence each other? Or would they even manage to? Maybe, in the end, neither of their opinions changed? Maybe Ryder will continue believing in the good and stay a hero. And Gregory will continue to be afraid and cautious towards the world, never being able to live it by it's fullest... (As a child should and deserves to).
4. Maybe Gregory will feel Jealous and spite, while Ryder is concerned and worried. He would be jealous, sure, but he can't deny the slight relief on the inside, that Ryder and his pups get to live so happily, with no worries or fears whatsoever. Ryder on the other hand, would wish he could help, yet knows that there isn't much he can do — at least not without knowing what's even going on. And there's no way that Gregory would tell him all the things he had to endure.
5. Would Ryder be the one teaching Gregory instead? Encouraging him to stay faithful and keep his head up?
Ryder can use technology, gift those his pups, and save lives. And he always succeeds...
Meanwhile, Gregory has lost so much. How can he have trust, faith, hope... Any of it? All that technology did was harm him — and take people close to him away... Almost killing him in the process...
Alternatively:
Or maybe, a crossover where Paw Patrol becomes FNAF? Causing the pups to be animatronics.
Would we name it “Five nights at Adventure Bay”? Maybe not.
And an alternative universe with FNAF being Paw Patrol. Instead of pups, we'd have a Bunny, Bear, Chicken, Gator, Wolf, Fox, etc...
Would it be called “Security Patrol”? Hm... maybe not.

Texas Agere Headcanons
Featuring Alabama as Caretaker
Long post below the cut
Very fussy baby
throws tantrums a lot
Definition of impure age regression
note * impure age regression is an unhappy, fussy, tantrum, crying form of regression. it is NOT a sexual form of age regression
Regresses to anywhere between 3 and 9
His most common ages are 4 and 7
He mostly regresses to cope with stress and his trauma that he refuses to acknowledge
While people like California are public about their regression and will go out/be in the statehouse
Texas is very private about his regression
Like. Will not regress in public, around most states, in the statehouse, etc
Only regresses at his farm
The list of people who he willingly told: no one
The list of people who found out by accident: Alabama, California, New York, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina
The list of people who were told because they needed to know in that situation: Alaska, DC, Gov, CDC, South Carolina, Rhode Island
Austin knows because Austin used to be his only caretaker
But being in his head he wasn’t able to do much
Alabama is his current caretaker
Austin enjoys just watching him being taken care of now
Austin always has Texas do SOMETHING for Alabama after, whether it be make him food, buy him stuff, whatever
Gov and DC know because Alabama was forced to reschedule a meeting for Texas and couldn’t use the “he’s sick” excuse so he told the truth
CDC found out with all the baby toys and objects around the house from a routine visit - he was under the impression Texas was having a baby of some sort, but Texas ended up confessing
The south was at a party and Alabama noticed Texas getting frustrated and slipping - when they went to leave South Carolina stopped them and started harassing them about why they were leaving early
Texas almost threw something at him - Alabama was forced to explain
Texas called Rhode Island a child, tried to make playdates, etc - Rhode was very confused beca it wasn’t an insult to him. Due to members of the northeast regressing, he ended up puttjng the pieces together
Texas loves Paw Patrol and superhero shows
Also loves farm shows and animal shows
Get’s upset when someone doesn’t know Sesame Street
LOVES Word World
Loves trail mix
he eats everything except the raisins
refuses to eat them
regressed him hates raisins, big him likes them
Wears cowboy pajamas to bed when he’s 5-9
When he’s 3-4, he wears a cow onesie or a cowboy onesie
has a cowboy pacifier too
loves it
often has to have other taken away and switched for a stim chew
has destroyed multiple pacifier’s by chewing on them
then throws a fit theyre broken
whenever Alabama wipes his face with a wet wipe, he tries to eat it

Maybe it's just me, but the idea of Adventure Bay's local news makes me laugh, just imagine seeing the pups rescues being broadcast on the news, with the news headlines and reporter commentary, with all the crazy stuff that happens, the news in Adventure Bay must be crazy. "Thanks John, in today's news our local ten-year-old leader of the town's search and rescue team and his pack of rescue pups are at it again, once again putting a stop to Foggy Bottom's own Mayor Humdinger and his nefarious schemes, this time the mayor apparently let loose a trash machine he called the 'Trash-dinger 3000' onto Adventure Bay's beach, reports say the machine got out of control and started flinging cubes of trash everywhere, prompting Ryder and his pups to appear, and it seems our favorite eco-pup Rocky has a new trick up his sleeve, coming onto the scene with what Ryder calls his 'Re-Use It Truck' capable of recycling and upcycling trash into all kinds of stuff, and all in the blink of an eye, now this is actually Rocky's 10th vehicle, if you can believe it, he has been seen driving 9 other vehicles at one point or another, including a motorcycle, that boy sure is a genius, what will he think of next? In other news, later today, our new four-legged superheroes will explain how they get their powers from a meteor that crash landed on that same beach, assuming they don't get called for another mission of course, so stay tuned!"
Hold on hold on my ADHD ass is at it again, the Re-Use It Truck was given to him at some point during the 7th season which I just finished watching so up to that point no Jet To The Rescue and no Movie truck
Which leaves us with
His regular truck
Sea Patrol boat or whatever that's called
Mission PAW vehicle I don't even remember what Rocky's looks like right now
Jungle truck
His Ultimate Rescue truck
Ultimate Rescue Swamp mini boat or whatever
Racing car
Dino Rescue truck
Motorcycle
Ah ok that checks out LMAO took me long to remember all these btw and I might have switched something for the Swamp boat simply because I can't remember anymore
With that out of my brain's way, YEAH WATCHING THE ADVENTURE BAY'S NEWS MUST BE THE EXPERIENCE
Ryder and the pups just DON'T STOP and there's always mundane things to treat as missions but also HELLA CRAZY STUFF, this ain't News, it's pure entertainm--
WAIT WAIT THE SERIES' MIGHTY VEHICLE IS NOT THE ONE FROM THE MOVIE oh shit I switched it for the Swamp boat
I want printed copies of what their newspaper looks like XD I learned to diagram entire magazines and newspapers and flyers when I studied Graphic Design college, I could try and put it to good use, would anyone want a downloadable copy? XD I'M SERIOUS I'M GONNA MAKE IT
#cottoncandyswirl828#Thanks for the ask!!#THE BEST PART IS THAT WE'VE SEEN HOW THE NEWS ARE LIKE IN ADVENTURE CITY#Paw Patrol#Paw Patrol Headcanons#Rocky#Paw Patrol Rocky#Paw Patrol Vehicles

Regressor! Tom Headcanons
•He has a pretty large range of ages he regresses to. The youngest he’ll go is just one years old, and the oldest is about eight. He normally stays around the ages of 3-6 though.
•He’s very curious about everything and sort of has a low sense of danger. If he sees something that interests him, he’s going to want to go near it and touch it, even if it can cause him harm.
•He gets confused easily and has to be told directions multiple times before he understands.
•Definitely the type of kid to play the “why” game. If he’s told something, he will ask “Why?” over and over again. The longest he’s done this was for thirty minutes straight.
•He’s super, super playful! He loves playing and to roughhouse with people. Though, he does have to be reminded constantly to be careful when he starts roughhousing since he’s a lot heavier and stronger than most of the people he plays with.
•He often forgets how big he actually is while in babyspace. When he’s not in babyspace, he’s aware that his cg or whoever he’s with can’t pick him up.
•But when he is in babyspace, he’ll sometimes reach for his cg and begin whining and crying because he wants to be picked up. Instead of picking him up, his cg will just hug him until he calms down.
•He tends to have nightmares about his first job as a spy pretty regularly. The nightmares often cause him to regress very young as well.
•When he is regressed due to a nightmare, he can’t be left alone. He’s always beyond terrified after his nightmares. He needs someone there with him and needs to be comforted.
•He doesn’t have temper tantrums or throw fits very often. If he does, it’s most likely because he’s tired. When he’s tired, he can be prone to tantrums more easily.
•Very talkative and outgoing. He’s the type to rarely ever get embarrassed about anything and he really just never stops talking.
•His favorite show to watch while small is “Paw Patrol”. He absolutely loves that show and it’s one of the only shows he watches.
•When he’s teeny tiny, so around 1-2, he will put anything he can get his hands on in his mouth. He often will put his fingers or toys in his mouth, but he will get ahold of other stuff and put that in his mouth as well.
•His cg will normally have pacifiers and teethers on hand when he’s this small so he has something more safe and sanitary to use.
•When he’s in an older headspace, he really enjoys comic books. Specifically, superhero comic books.
•Absolutely loves to play outside. He loves games like tag, hide and seek, and catch. He also really enjoys swimming during the summer.
•Adores getting praised for literally anything. Any time someone praises him, he’ll just get all giggly.
•Most of the time, he’s just very happy and silly. He rarely has days where he’s all grumpy and upset, but those kind of days do still happen. Just not often.
•The exact opposite of a picky eater. He’ll eat anything, especially sweet stuff. He loves sweet foods and candy.
•He has a german shepherd plushie that he always has with him.
•He normally loves bedtime/nap time. As long as he gets cuddles, he’s perfectly fine with going to bed.
•He gets excited really easily and over the smallest things. Like, if he’s looking out the window and sees some sort of animal, especially a dog, he’ll immediately get his cg’s attention by shouting “Look! Look!” while pointing out the window.

'Barbie and Oppenheimer are more than just an internet meme that exploded into such virality that even the British PM (read: Tory scum) took part—it’s a triumphant return for cinema in a post-pandemic world obsessed with inflated budgets and diminishing returns. It came off the back of the live-action Little Mermaid remake, the lukewarm Indiana Jones legacy sequel, another in a long line of awful Fast and Furious movies, a pseudo-Michael Bay Transformers, and insulting multiversal escapade The Flash, which resurrected the dead with CGI. Cinema has never felt so downtrodden and hopeless, but Barbenheimer brought a semblance of optimism back… until CEOs everywhere immediately stomped it out.
Barbie is a perfect standalone movie, with a feminist story expertly weaving its way through the garish shades of pink in what is otherwise a two-hour-long advert for dolls. It sees stereotypical Barbie grow beyond the purpose of her creation to embrace her own agency, stepping into the real world to conquer the challenges of unchecked patriarchy. It’s a poignant narrative, despite the clear limitations of being a company-mandated franchise starter, but that’s ultimately what it is. Director Greta Gerwig might not be interested in sequels, but Mattel is. Going beyond that, it wants a cinematic universe for all its toys, greenlighting a Polly Pocket film, a “grounded and gritty” Hot Wheels movie, and a Spike Jonze-inspired Barney helmed by Daniel Kaluuya. The MCU and superheroes as a whole might seem to be on their way out, but we’re just swapping a sandbox of action figures for literal toys. I’m not sure which is worse.
Many declared Barbenheimer as the ‘return of cinema’ after months of expensive box office bombs. But a movie based around a ‘50s toy making $380 million in only five days was never going to send the message to CEOs that original ideas told by talented directors are what people want. Their eyes lit up with IP and dollar signs instead, the prospect of digging through their box of intellectual property to whip out the next gem overwhelming them. This is the Iron Man of the 2020s, kickstarting the next generation of cinema, and while we enjoyed the MCU in its heyday, look at where we are now. Superheroes dominate screenings, drowning out original ideas, and routinely suck the joy out of filmmaking with an abundance of green screens, needless CGI, and an overwhelming number of releases.
Oppenheimer is another piece of this puzzle. On its own, it’s an ambitious biopic about the horrors of American ingenuity in World War 2. I can’t see CEOs foaming at the mouth regarding franchise potential here, but out of spite toward Christopher Nolan, Warner Bros. placed Barbie’s release on the same day, inadvertently creating cinema history. Now, Oppenheimer joins Barbie’s legacy as a trendsetter in all the worst ways. We’re already seeing the impact of this, as Saw X has moved its release date to coincide with Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, aiming to recreate the word-of-mouth marketing that saw Barbie and Oppenheimer thrive in a Summer where nothing else was. But again, this misses the point. It’s more akin to watching a meme get dragged out back on the Ellen show to be beaten with three baseball bats like a long-dead horse.
CEOs and companies are seeing Barbenheimer’s resounding social media-driven success and hoping to replicate it by launching their films on the same day as tonally opposite competitors. Saw X and Paw Patrol couldn’t be more different, aside from the likelihood of them both being awful. And that’s the stickler. Barbenheimer was so much more than ‘Haha look at two very different movies!’ It was two completely different films from award-winning, beloved directors with brilliant casts and something important to say. It wasn’t just bright pink vs black and white.
People would have been excited for Barbie and Oppenheimer independent of each other—sticking them together on the same date wasn’t what ignited the match. Yet that’s what the big corps are taking from the entire situation, so expect to see far more SawPatrols in the coming years, desperately trying to convince people to watch a double bill of two awful films. Sounds really appealing, eh?
Barbenheimer was a fun break from the bleak landscape of modern cinema, but it will go down as another blow to movies as a whole. Already Paramount has sworn off all non-IP properties for animation, only committing to churning out tried and tested formulas it considers safe films, while Mattel is busy scrambling to catch up with the MCU overnight. Only it’s doing so with a dollhouse full of tat. The coming years won’t see a renaissance of cinema thanks to Barbenheimer, it will see the next step in devolving franchise slop, the endgame being burnout on an unprecedented scale.'

This is incredibly random but I rewatched Hairspray today and did I just fall in love with a character called corny collins 🤣 😂 but seriously though James Marsden is so pretty I may have to go watch everything he's ever been in, I don't understand how disney hasn't cast him as a knight in shining armour, I haven't seem him in many things but even his characters seem so pure and lovely like corny collins, tom wachowski aka donut lord, Richard from superman returns maybe I'm projecting his characters' qualities onto him (and his face certainly helps 🤣) but I now have the opinion that this man is an angel 😇
AHHHH girl, I will gush over James Marsden with you ANY DAY. I am surprised it took you so long to discover him, and via Hairspray of all places. (LOL.) But I happily welcome you to the James Marsden Appreciation Club, and would gladly point out the other places you could enjoy the glory that is him.
I LOVE THAT LITTLE BEAN. Let me count the ways:
James Marsden Appreciation Post
He has been around forever, but he has consistently come off as a sweet guy both on and off screen.
He has such an underrated pretty face, with lovely bone structure and blue eyes. He could totally pass for an Tolkien Elf with that bone structure. (Controversial fancast, if James were younger: Eärendil??) And his smile... oh that smile... it's pure sunshine.
If you've seen the right movies of him, he's actually so freakin' talented; he can handle heavy roles as well as goofy comedy.
He does not take his career too seriously. He has done a LOT of work in kids' movies, and celebs who take on projects for kids have a special place in my heart. (e.g. Hop, Sonic, My Little Pony, and I even heard he's gonna be in the next Paw Patrol movie)
Disney has made him a prince: Prince Edward from Enchanted-- and he did it so wonderfully too! I loved him more than the "real" leading man, Patrick Dempsey.
You nailed it by saying most of his characters are so pure; it's true for most of the stuff I've seen from him, and I think it's just because of the aura he gives off. He is also known as being the "guy who never gets the girl", due to his roles as the jilted lover in "Superman Returns" and "The Notebook".
If you want to swoon, watch "The Best of Me" (Nicholas Sparks adaptation)--too cheesy for my taste, but it was worth it to see James in a romantic lead (and showing off his muscles--haha!)
He played one of my favorite superheroes--Scott Summers aka Cyclops from the X-Men! Unfortunately, imho they did a piss-poor job on his character, and really did him dirty in favor of Wolverine. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed seeing him in that role.
He has such adorkable comedic charm. I'm not a fan of stoner comedies, so I haven't seen those works of his, but he did Seasons 6-7 of 30 Rock, where he was utterly adorkable.
The man can SING. Like, seriously blow your socks off SING. He showed it off clearly in Hairspray and in Enchanted. I would love to see him in more musicals or Disney animated films. Please watch link below for proof.
youtube
James is the only reason why I am tempted to watch Westworld, despite hearing that it could be too depressing/dark for my taste. I also want to check out Jury Duty, his most recent tv work.
Any other James lovers, please feel free to chime in regarding thoughts or anything I might have missed! <3

Catch Me If You Can
Pairing - Catwoman x F!Vigilante!Reader
Summary - A quiet and uneventful patrol turns into you chasing Catwoman across Gotham.
Warnings - Snow, Ice, Minor Injuries, Unresolved Sexual Tension
A/N - Starting the year off with Catwoman! Both the title and the fic itself were inspired by the song Catch Me If You Can by Set It Off!
Word Count - 1.4k
The wind whistled past you as you swung through the air before gently landing on a rooftop. Tonight had been slow and you were thankful for it. Going solo had been rather strenuous on your body and you were starting to see why so many of the world’s superheroes had opted to have sidekicks. Since you now worked on your own hours, maybe you should give yourself a couple of days rest.
Snowflakes fluttered down from the sky and added to the snow that already blanketed the city. It almost made Gotham look clean. Almost. You loved it when it snowed. It made everything seem so peaceful. It was nice and had you thinking about the last time it had snowed.
You wondered where Catwoman was tonight. It had been quite some time since your paths had last crossed, and you hoped that they would cross again soon.
You continued on your patrol route, being careful to avoid the patches of ice. The last thing you wanted was to slip and break something.
Your route led you to the centre of Gotham, where the large Christmas tree glowed brightly, making the snow glow golden. The tree and other decorations would be taken down soon, with it being the new year now and everything. You were always sad to see them go as they always made an otherwise dark city appear bright and cheerful.
You were about to leap from the roof and continue on your way, when something caught your eye, making you look up. A familiar silhouette on the opposite building’s roof, across the square. Catwoman? As quickly as the silhouette had appeared, they walked away from the ledge and disappeared from sight, before you could confirm it was her.
If it was her, and you were pretty sure it was, then you needed to investigate what she was up to. Though you already had an idea of what she was likely up to.
You grappled over to the roof. As expected, she was already gone. The only sign that anyone had been up here were the footsteps in the snow. Alongside her footsteps were cat paw prints. Yep, it was definitely her. Now all you had to do was follow her trail.
As you followed the trail she had left, you quickly came to the realisation that it was a little too easy to follow. That had you stopping in your tracks. She wanted you to follow? Why? What was she playing at? The only way to find out was to keep following. So you did.
The trail led you to a penthouse that had its skylight open, which didn’t come as a surprise. She didn’t become known as the World’s Greatest Thief by not stealing. You landed on the roof silently, not that you really needed to. She already knew that you were here.
The open skylight allowed snowflakes to fall into the penthouse, creating a light dusting of snow on the floor. It was dark inside and it took your eyes a moment to fully adjust. There was no sign of Catwoman so far, but she was likely wherever the safe was. Keeping your steps light, you continued further in.
The penthouse was… nice? You had never really liked that minimalistic style, always preferring for your home to have more personality to it.
Movement out of the corner of your eye. Turning around you found a black cat sitting on the back of the white couch, its black fur already shedding onto the cushions. It watched you with big green eyes as you slowly approached it, hand stretched out.
“Hey there,” you said softly. The cat sniffed your hand before headbutting you while it purred. You tickled it behind its ears.
“She’s not usually that friendly with strangers.”
You looked away from the cat to see Catwoman. She was leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed over her chest. At the sound of her voice, the cat jumped down from the couch and ran over to her, jumping up Catwoman’s body so that she could rest across her shoulders. As your eyes followed the cat’s ascent, you spotted the black bag strapped to her muscular thigh, just above her thigh high boots. There was no doubt in your mind that it was full of stolen items. The comment about her cat was probably meant to try and distract you, at least for a moment.
“Nice try, but you’re going to have to give me what you’ve stolen,” you told her.
Catwoman pouted as she pushed away from the doorframe. “It was worth a shot,” she replied, “but if you want this—” she tapped the bag “—then you’re going to have to catch me first, hero.”
You barely had any time to react when she threw a vase off of the nearby sideboard at you, forcing you to dodge it. By the time you had recovered from the attack, she was already out of the window, along with her cat. You jumped back onto your feet and leapt from the window as well.
The wind rushed past you as you dived after her. She stopped her descent with her whip, swinging off to the side. You followed close behind with your grapple. The good thing about her purple catsuit was that it made her stand out against the snow, making her easy to follow. As you chased her across Gotham’s rooftops, you couldn’t help, but admire how graceful and effortless her movements were. It also frustrated you because she was clearly toying with you. Always making sure that she was just out of reach of you.
As your legs began to ache and you were starting to feel breathless, you wondered how far you had chased her. You wouldn’t be surprised if you had managed to cross half the city, it was really starting to feel like it. There was a part of you that wanted to rest, but you did your best to ignore it and push on. There was a moment when you almost had a hold of her, but as you tried to grab her, she pulled her arm out of your reach. Maybe you were imagining it, but you swore you could hear her laughing. It was hard to tell with the wind racing past you.
You were about to leap from one roof to another when your foot hit a patch of ice and you slipped. You scrambled to try and grab the ledge, but it was covered in ice so there was nothing to grasp.
Your fall was stopped as suddenly as it had started as someone grabbed ahold of your wrist. You looked up and saw that it was Catwoman who had stopped you from hitting the concrete below. She winked and wordlessly pulled you back up onto the roof.
Once you were back on the roof, and she had let go, you attempted to grab hold of her, but she saw it coming as she swept her leg underneath yours and pinned you to the roof. Pain radiated through your shoulder, making you gasp and letting you know it had been injured when she had grabbed you.
She tutted and leaned in close, her lips just mere centimetres from yours and her green eyes looking into yours. “Not tonight, hero,” she said. “Better luck next time.” She kissed your cheek, making your breathing hitch, your heart skip and your cheeks heat up before she got off of you.
You sat up slowly, knowing that there was no point in trying to go after again as she was already long gone. Your hand came up to the cheek she had kissed and when you inspected it, your fingers had come away with purple lipstick on them. You couldn’t believe she had done that. Sure, you knew that she was a seductress, it was in her file! But nothing in the file had suggested she was also attracted to women…
You wondered what it would have felt like if she had kissed you on the lips instead…
Nope! You quickly shoved the thought away. You were not going to imagine what kissing her would feel like. She was a thief and, like any Gotham vigilante, it was your job to bring her to justice.
Next time, you promised yourself as you stood up. Next time you would take her down for good.

Did you used to have any other favorite shows before Paw Patrol and before Marshall became your number 1 favorite animated character, did you used to have any other favorite characters from any other TV show or movie?
I can certainly name a few favorite TV shows of mine from over the years. Some of these are pretty old nowadays, but I believe they can still be found on streaming services and whatnot.
One that comes to mind right away is "Looney Tunes". The originals, not the newer stuff like "The Looney Tunes Show" or the modern "Looney Tunes Cartoons". These were made back in the 30's, 40's and 50's, and though they released in theaters first, it might as well be considered a TV show nowadays.
In any case, I've been a huge fan of these shorts for as long as I can remember. In fact, I still watch them quite often to this day! Most of them are classics, with a wide variety of wonderful characters, memorable plots, delightful cartoon slapstick and violence, among other things. I don't think I'll ever outgrow them... heck, even my own parents still watch them (we often watch them together, actually).
Here's another I used to watch a ton a long time ago. It's an anime from 2001 called "Digimon Tamers". I practically fell in love with this one as a kid, and I remembered even trying to record every single episode to make sure I'd always have it. One reason behind this is... well, someone I'll talk about later on in this post. Beyond that, I just found the overall story really interesting, especially when compared to the previous two ("Adventure" and "Adventure 02"). It had memorable characters, too. It was just really good all around!
I'll admit, I'm not much for superhero stuff, but Justice League, and its sequel, Justice League: Unlimited, were both so entertaining. I haven't seen the show in numerous years, yet I still think about most of its episodes from time to time. They were just so memorable, thanks to smart and mature writing, numerous moments that still surprise me to this very day, etc. However, I'm not sure I can recommend it to too many of my followers here, since some of you might not like how serious it can get. Here's a good example, if anyone's curious to see what I'm talking about. If you're not bothered by this kind of stuff and/or can look past it, the whole thing's a great watch!
One last one for now, and it's finally something that's not too old! While I haven't seen every season of Regular Show, I thought the first two seasons were simply brilliant. Anyone who's seen this one no doubt remembers "send it to the moon", "summertime lovin', lovin in the summertime", "my mom", among so many other memorable lines and such. I enjoyed it so much, it's one of the few cartoons I tracked down on Blu-Ray (the first two seasons, anyway). It's crazy in all the best ways. Hm, hm, hm!
Now, as for favorite characters...
I'll admit, I've had so many over the years. In fact, at one point, I considered it somewhat of a hobby to keep track of them all and even list them on some of my social media sites (that was some time ago, on accounts unrelated to this one, and said lists no longer exist now). I won't go into all of them, but I can list quite a few!
RJ the raccoon, from Dreamworks' "Over the Hedge". He's just a fun, smooth-talking character who's quite entertaining to watch. He was really high up my list for the longest time, and while that's not so true anymore, I'm still quite the fan of him (and the movie, itself).
Impmon, from the aforementioned "Digimon Tamers". Anyone who's into Digimon certainly knows about him, and how he easily became the show's most complex character. I don't want to spoil everything, since his journey is legit great, but Impmon starts out as someone who's not so friendly, but he slowly warms up to the good guys little-by-little... until something happens that leaves him completely and utterly humiliated. With his ego smashed and desperate for power, he makes a deal with one of the villains, who grants him exactly what he wants, under the condition he goes after the heroes. Despite doing some terrible stuff, he's spared, and he ends up realizing all the horrible mistakes he's made and then tries to do his best to make up for all the harm he's caused. To be honest, my description here really doesn't do him justice, so it's really something you need to check out yourself. Most fans will happily admit it's easily a big highlight of the whole Digimon franchise.
He's arguably one of the best Digimon characters, period. His journey is memorable, and I really found myself rooting for the character and hoping he'd turn out okay in the end. Honestly, he still remains one of my biggest favorites to this day.
Bolt, from Disney's "Bolt". This isn't one of their better movies, but I still think Bolt, himself is pretty darn great... and cute, too. Much like Impmon, I just really liked his journey, from a dog who believed the TV show he starred in was real, to coming to terms with just who and what he really is. Again, I don't wish to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it's pretty good... and quite touching, if you ask me. Special shout out to the part when Bolt just takes in life by letting the rain drop on his face for the first time... it's easily a favorite moment of mine, and cemented just how much I came to love the character.
If you haven't seen Bolt, I certainly recommend it! And Bolt, himself... he's a pretty cool pup. A good boy, for sure.
Panchito Pistoles, a Disney character who first appeared in the 1944 animated movie "The Three Caballeros". No doubt some of you might recognize him more from the 2018 "Legend of the Three Caballeros".
There's actually not a whole lot I can say about him, in terms of any sort of character development and whatnot. Truth is, along with his excellent design, I just flat out love this wacky character. He's always so full of energy, and as such, he's just so crazy entertaining. I won't say he's one of the best Disney characters or anything, but he's someone that always gives me a big smile when he shows up.
Hokey Wolf, a character from some really old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. (He's the one on the right, btw.)
I'll admit, most folks probably haven't heard of this character. You won't see him much nowadays, and I think he's only been in the background of a few Jellystone! episodes. Despite that, he's, in my opinion, a rather memorable character, at least in the older cartoons that introduced him. Much like RJ, he's another smooth talker, which in hindsight, seems to be a trait that I like. It just makes characters like him a lot of fun to watch, especially if they can pull off whatever they'd planned. Beyond that, I also really like his design. Admittedly, I took an interest in wolves because of him, and I even thought about getting into making my own animations due to Hokey, too. The character became a bit special to me, I suppose you could say.
Going back to Looney Tunes, many of its characters became favorites of mine, too. The one on the left, Charlie Dog, is the star of some of my favorite shorts, including the one in which he goes on about how great of a dog he is because he's [apparently] numerous breeds in one (50% pointer, 50% boxer, 50% sitter... Irish sitter, 50% watch dog, 50% spits, 50% Doberman Pincher, but he's "mostly" all Labrador Retriever). He's always looking for a master, and though he can be a little too pushy, his attempts at trying to look appealing as "man's best friend" never cease to amuse me.
And then there's Bugs Bunny, who is probably the very first character I ever became a huge fan of. I just love this wascally wabbit, due to his humor, personality, characteristics, design, charm... everything! His cartoons never fail to get a good laugh out of me. Although the stuff he appears in nowadays isn't as good as those classic shorts from way back then, I still say he's easily one of the greatest cartoon characters to ever exist, period. Dude's a legend, peroid.
And I better stop here, before this post gets any longer. lol
