All my other posts have stagnated so I'm making a new one. I'm a disabled Black lesbian and I recently started a new job after a month and a half long medical leave at my old job. Ive been on medical leave on and off since last november bc I've been very sick.

My wife is a Trans lesbian and she also recently resumed work after a 2 month medical leave after she got really REALLY sick.

My gas has been off for a few months and I really need to turn it back on before the temperature drops more. Also I have a gas stove so I haven't been able to actually cook anything either. I'm a diabetic so I rly wanna be able to cook healthy meals again.

Homeless LGBT couple asking for help! (December 2024)

Hey everyone.

My family and I have been homeless for four years now and we have both been struggling to find work. I had one for a bit but I was let go due to branch issues and even that hadn't been enough to get us a place to live long term. These last several months, I have been growing increasingly ill and a few weeks ago, I injured my ankle pretty badly so it is super important that we have shelter so I can recover while looking for work. We are both sick now and we've barely had funds for food lately too so we could really use the help.

Right now, I'm asking for help covering a motel room, food, and toiletries. Any help is appreciated but we really could also use help getting fresh attention on this post as things have been getting harder and harder with each passing week. We are paying for the room about every three days so there will be constant need. Thank you to everyone who has helped us this far. I'm hoping I can make things work soon because I just don't have it in me to keep going like this.

Emergency!!

I am the main provider of two disabled roommates, one of whom is currently on the other side of the country getting cancer treatment which was denied locally via a ridiculous circle of denied referrals. I doing what I can to help her from here, and continuing to take care of our other roommate.

Seperately, I have my own health issues, and haven't had a liscence for years due to neurological issues. I have recently gotten my license and I need to get a car.

We live in an area where doing just normal errands, costs $100+ and that is our only option for the foreseeable future if I don't get a car. Additionally, a car would allow me to do delivery work while my online job is slow.

I have been looking locally and found a decent car for $1,700 that the guy will hold until tomorrow evening. It needs a little work, but I have friends that will work on it for next to nothing.

Right now, I have $600 of this and intended to save that for rent, but this is the cheapest price I have seen on a car in this decent condition. Anything helps especially because we domt have much time. I am making the goal $1,500 because I am unsure how much of rent I'll be able to make back after this.

Ahem... Had a massive delusional episode. Pretty strong reasons I don't trust my family with me tho. I've always trusted yall and my friends more. I felt they were gonna come conservatize me someway. Now they just seem super worried. I'm not hurting myself tho. Just went through extreme separation anxiety and shock. Doctors are apologizing for not listening to me for years and shit. Informing me with resources up the ass. I'm laying low but I thank yall I really do.

I wouldn't have been equipped with the language to speak up for myself if not for tumblr.

I was gonna have a post up for donations for living here but let's see about Monday. A couple more dollars would help till then. We're at the very least still staying the month to recuperate.

Eslam is a teacher and a young mother of 2; Hanaa (age 5) and Ana (age 1). Since last year, she and her family have been fighting to survive the siege on Ghazzah.

She and her family lost their home to the bombings, displacing them all to a tent. The unhygienic conditions have caused both of Eslam's children to develop skin diseases.

Medicine and soup are extremely expensive in Ghazzah, $30 a bar; since Eslam's husband Rasmi had his place of work bombed, these prices are are completely unsustainable.

In order to help support their daily life and be able to evacuate, they need to raise $50,000 USD. So far, they've only raised $14,262 USD; their last donation was 4 hours ago.

Hi everyone! I've been asked by Mohammad Ayesh (@ayeshjourney, previously @/moayesh) to share his family's gfm campaign. He is fundraising for his little brother Yasser, who is hard of hearing. Mohammed Ayesh is one of the vetters for @/gaza-evacuation-funds. He has dedicated so much time vetting fundraisers and helping other palestinians, but has received few donations for his own family's campaign. Please also help him out in his time of need!

Yasser is only 10 years old. He was born in the 2014 war, and the loud noise from the missiles and the bombings has robbed him of his ability to hear properly. To treat this condition, Yasser underwent a cochlear implant operation. The device that enables him to hear is battery-operated and has to be charged regularly. However, with the bombings and the destruction of power sources in Gaza, Yasser now goes for days without hearing because he is unable to charge the device. Israel has yet again rob this 10-year-old child's ability to hear.

This is also affecting Yasser's ability to speak! Because of his inability to hear, Yasser is struggling to pronounce words! Not being able to hear, struggling to speak, it is now very difficult for the child to communicate with others. Imagine living through a literal genocide not being able to express how you feel, nor hear your family's voice or their words of comfort! This would be hard for an adult, let alone a young child! Yasser is only 10 years old, this campaign barely has any donations, please show him more support!

Your donations will go towards repairing Yasser's hearing device, which is malfunctioning due to the heat, the sweat, and the harsh conditions. The funds will also ease the huge expense that is Yasser's speech therapy sessions, as well as helping the family rebuild!

Hello tumblr dot com users! I'm Ren, a trans and disabled venezuelan trying to get back into art. And as of the 1st of nov 2024 I'm officially unemployed and really, really broke 🥲

If you want a more extended version of our situation you can reffer to my last post thread from months ago, I decided to finally create this one as an updated version.

Summarizing and updating extremely quickly what has happened this last time: The humanitarian Parole is no longer available, The Darien has become way more dangerous and inaccesible to cross and the Panama goverment is going to get toughter, considering this is a mostly usamerican site I hope I don't have to mention what happened this month over there, and obviously there's certainty shit isn't going to get any better from this point onwards. Things have changed so much that my mother started considering emigrating to Spain.

As some of the people close to me know, I really dislike being in the necessity of e-begging without at least offering something in return to people helping me because I don't feel ok doing so otherwise. That's why in this post I have several avenues to help me depending on what anyone might preffer.

Our current plan is to keep saving as much as we can while we wait and hope for a relative of my father to present a Family Reunification TPS while there is still chance, if neither of those don't work or something happens, we'll help either him or my mother go to Spain instead. We are definitively not giving up, but that doesn't mean things didn't get harder.

Do not really know what to say. A year ago we were making posts about how Gaza was being bombed through Christmas- how the oldest Christian community was being bombed- how the birth place of Jesus was being destroyed and his people murdered. A year later, it is going to be Christmas again soon, and the bombings have not stopped. But the news, and the attention seems to have died down considerably. It feels terrible and scary.
