The Movement of the Mandala Tarot Retreat is a transformative experience focused on the archetypes of the Tarot, inspired by the teachings of the Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche. Nine Themes for 2025: The Year of Number 9

Number 9 is a number that is very humanitarian. Life path number 9 people tend to always want to give without really knowing how to receive anything in return.  People may find themselves really focused on giving and taking care of others because of their ethics, morals, values or simply because of what is happening in the world.

We may see a rise in spiritual teachers or religious figures.  Some may be able to support the thirst for higher wisdom and inner peace that many seek, however there may be others who look to capitalize on people’s vulnerabilities so we may see a rise in cults and people feeling deeply connected to certain groups that align with their deeply held beliefs or values.

Number 9 being a number of that represents striving for a higher cause or to be upright. It might be a year many choose to go on pilgrimages or do long distance travel to get away, or to find peace, purpose or even solitude. 

Some people may feel more inclined to search for a teacher, mentor or guru.  This could be for higher knowledge, education or even religious or spiritual mentorship.

Number 9 may find some countries or people more rigid in terms of their beliefs so this could be an indicator of some wars or dissention happening between loved ones, countries, and geopolitical forces that relate to a difference of morals or belief systems.

Number 9 is a number that pertains to higher morals or achieving aspirations of finding higher ground in terms of fulfilling one’s dharma or purpose.  Some people may find that they feel more committed not to a particular religion, but perhaps to finding their calling or dharmic path. Perhaps one has already been searching and this year will be a grand revelation or a series of events that will enable one to feel like they are finally walking in their purpose.

Number 9 carries the energy of religion.  This may be a year that people feel the need to re-commit or establish themselves firmly in their religion or beliefs. 

Number 9 carries the energy of higher knowledge. This is a year for continuing education for some or increasing one’s credentials in a professional sector.

This is a year of completion of something, as in Numerology, number 9 is the final digit, going to number 10 would be harnessing the energies of number 1 and 0.  Perhaps there is something that you have been working on already. This is the year that it will come to completion, or it will be the beginning of the end of whatever it is that one is working towards.
