How good - we have a whole day dedicated to celebrating pasta because pasta is life 💕
So today let's talk about store bought Pesto vs Home-made?
It's no secret that I'd chose home-made any day! There are some great, high quality pesto's you can buy at stores, but most of the time they are padded with poor quality oils, cheese and other nasty stuff.
If you are buying store bought pesto, below are the thing I would look for 👇🏽
💚 Olive oil only
💚 A high quantity of basil (so check ingredients, first ingredient is what there is most of in that jar)
💚 Preferably a pesto without whey powder and milk
💚 No sugar
💚 Avoid natural flavours
If you're keen to make you're own then BELOW is our recipe, and it's exactly how e make our Pesto that we sell as part of our Plantz Ready Meals @plantzreadymealswb

Spaghetti with sundried tomatoes, Maltese sausage and basil topped with olive oil. This is a very popular summer pasta and our sausage makes a unique taste you won't taste in any other country. Typical Mediterranean summer food ❤️
The worst thing about living in this house is that no one understands my need for pasta. It’s a need not a want mom. My brother has only referred to me as pasta names in the past week. It’s the most defining moment of my life.
Going to Wegmans to ignore all the toilet paper hoarders and the hand sanitizer fanatics only to join my brethren in the pasta aisle and rejoice in the fact I’m not alone in these hard Corona Times ™.
