Check out my book! It's always been a dream of mine to have a book. Took over a year to finally get around to doing it, but I think it's worth it! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside to say I have a book.

This cute little artbook is all about my specbio project! It's 5x7", 56 pages not including the cover, 100 lb paper and 130 lb cover weight. It's maybe 50% about human guy and patrick hanging out and the other 50% about the world itself. It's got cute doodles, less-cute doodles, infographics, small tidbits of writing, and more!

getting just enough of something feels like a kind of faith that i will be able to find more of what i need when the time comes. maybe this is what it means for me most of the time. something about trusting myself in a material way in the face of uncertainty

it feels like a kind of protest against the hoarding impulse at the heart of this system. i am resisting, in the language of the system, the overconsumption that defines and sustains it

but sometimes when i get just enough and no more i know it is a lack of faith in the future itself. an expression of doubt, measured in cups and ounces, that there will be enough time left to use even this amount, never mind bothering to get any more

Finally completed this piece after a lengthy hiatus. It's full of "Easter eggs" and various references to current events. The QR code is drawn and works. Have fun exploring.

This is a palindromic poem, which can be read backwards and forwards the same way. The middle word, "deified," is also a palindrome. This isn't a requirement as the middle word should just tie the two parts of the poem together. I just liked the idea of having it be a palindrome and "deified" fit quite well here.

Last night I revisited John Greaves and Peter Blegvad’s magnificent 1977 album, Kew Rhone, for the first time in years. It’s still as beguiling as ever.

For me the highlight is the title track. The lyrics in the first half are comprised of words using only the letters of KEW RHONE (“when we knew no woe, when we were her hero” etc), while the second half is based around a long palindrome: “Peel’s foe, not a set animal, laminates a tone of sleep.”

Of course, I wouldn’t care much about all that if the music wasn’t also totally gorgeous.
