As I’ve posted on my “irl” socials, I’m posting again separately to tumblr. I know I’ve got at least as many friends here who care about this cause.
Please consider donating to the PCRF, the organization I’ve chosen for my birthday fundraiser.

in thanks for carynandconnie’s recent fundraising stream, I drew a little Whalebert!
for those who don’t know, Caryn and Connie are simmers(people who play The Sims) and are participating in Simmers for Palestine, which, if I’m correct, was started by popular creator lilsimsie. they recently held a stream that was fundraising for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund(PCRF), and their community raised around $6200, and they themselves donated $1000.
It really shows just how much of an impact that well-known people can have by using their fame, and I teared up multiple times seeing the funds go up so quickly.
They’re commonly associated with an item from The Sims 4, called ‘Whalebert’, which is a splash pad item shaped like, you guessed it, a whale. So I decided to doodle Whalebert, in support for PCRF.
🍉🇵🇸❤️

The left is just solid colored, and the right is shaded.
The overall Simmers For Palestine campaign has reached over $200000, and it’s so so so wonderful.
Again, I’m so glad that this fundraiser did so well, and I hope it and similar causes will continue to succeed in providing aid ❤️

I’ve only seen a few people be sponsored by them but one of the few YouTube sponsors I actually trust is Wicked Clothes. Sure they have some cringey true crime stuff on there but they’re pro-Palestine and donate some of their proceeds to important causes including the PCRF
I’ve also bought from them before and their clothes are actually good quality. While I think it’s generally better to thrift clothes, if you need some new ones and want to buy from a company that actually puts their money where their mouth is may I suggest these guys.

Imagine making a zine about JEWISH culture and then tryna donate to Palestinian scams. WTF is wrong with you???? Stop using our stories to benefit terrorism?!? It's not that hard.
When the mod team came up with this zine, we knew from the get-go that a lot of people would be upset about our choice of charity. For full transparency, I'd like to point out that it was always the plan to donate to charities based in the Middle East. For example, when I first came up with the idea for this zine, the 2020 Beirut Port explosion had just happened, so the plan at the time was to donate zine proceeds to the Lebanese Red Cross. As the ongoing conflict in Palestine is the most catastrophic humanitarian crisis currently unfolding in the Middle East, we believe that donating to those impacted is a clear and logical choice for this issue of the zine. If we decide to print subsequent volumes of this zine in the future, we will be picking a different charity/cause for each volume. We understand that not everyone is going to agree with our benefit choices every time, and we've made our peace with that. If it bothers you, you can always make your own zine. That's the beauty of self-publishing.

Rana @ranamohammed has had an EXCRUCIATING year.
The occupation destroyed her home, her livelihood, her community, and her family. Horrifically, two of her young children were martyred when the occupation bombed their home.
Being unable to make a living, Rana, her husband, and their two surviving children are extremely desperate. They are displaced with no resources, and they have no money to purchase increasingly scarce food. They are currently living on the street with no shelter, not even a tent!
Tumblr media
They've created a campaign to survive, but donations remain low. **They really really need $1500 to purchase a tent so that they have some protection from the cold!** The children are in danger of hypothermia without any shelter, every night carries a new risk of serious illness or even death.
Please support and share their campaign so it receives more visibility!
Thank you

Two ongoing digital games bundles are offering more than 200 tabletop RPGs (among video games, soundtracks, books and other goodies) in order to raise money in support of the Palestine Children’s Relief Funds. The Palestinian Relief Bundle is being hosted on Itch.io, while the separate TTRPGs for Palestine Charity Bundle is taking place on Tiltify. For $8, the Palestinian Relief Bundle is offering nearly 400 total items, 103 of which are tabletop RPG systems, supplements and adventures. Mapmaking game Ex Novo is joined by the paranormal gunslinging satire FIST: Ultra Edition, along with Takuma Okada’s celebrated solo journaling game Alone on a Journey. Weird and dirty iconoclast game about money, the mind and everything else, Greed by Gormenghast is also on this list and is well worth a look. And if you’d rather keep it cosy and introspective, Cassi Mothwin’s Clean Spirit will get the whole group taking care of their domestic homes. The TTRPGs for Palestine Charity Bundle focuses solely on analogue games, providing nearly 200 tabletop games for $15. A full spreadsheet of the included titles can be viewed here and includes Nevyn Holme’s Gun&Slinger, where one player embodies an occult cowboy while the second plays their sentient, magical gun. Wendi Yu’s Here, There, Be Monsters! approaches monster hunting media from the other side of the camera with a decidedly queer lens and unapologetic politics. Makapatag’s Gubat Banwa is a lush and dynamic collision of wuxia media, fiercely romantic and tragic melodrama all set against the backdrop and folklore of The Philippines.

‼ URGENT ‼
Meet Ziyad, he is a four-year old child, he is supposed to be in kindergarten now, but instead he is under Israeli bombardment moving from tent to tent, help Ziyad get out of Gaza and live his life like other children 😔💔
Even if you have a vivid imagination, you cannot imagine the extent of the grief and suffering in Gaza. You cannot imagine that your children are dying of hunger, thirst, lack of medicine, and missiles falling like rain. Donate to save my family from Gaza

The Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is still and always in need of donations. Whether you can offer a dollar or a hundred, please do what you can to fund the powerful and direct support the PCRF is offering during this horrific genocide. Continue to share these resources, and do not let yourself become used to the violence and terror that Palestinians are living through. The money donated to the PCRF will not only offer immediate support to families, but will continue to be used to rebuild and recover in the long term.
“Our "Gaza Relief and Recovery" campaign aims to address urgent humanitarian needs and support long-term recovery efforts in Gaza. The funds raised will primarily focus on immediate relief, including providing essential medical supplies, food, medical treatment, clean water, and other necessities for families affected by the conflict. Additionally, our campaign will support rebuilding healthcare facilities and providing long-term support through impactful programs and projects to support the needs of children and the health sector in Gaza. It will also allocate resources towards trauma counseling, mental health support, and other initiatives for children affected by the conflict, aiming to foster healing and resilience within the community.” (PCRF, 2024).

To wrap up the Fantasy High Freshman Year Minis Auction - thanks to the unbelievable generosity of fans, we were able to make a $185,000 donation to @thepcrf! You can donate yourself using this link: https://pcrf1.app.neoncrm.com/forms/general For transparency: Took a few weeks to finalize as some auction winners did not follow through with payment. The total revenue generated from the auction was about $217,000, and our costs ran about $35,000 (for labor, materials, and operations). We opted to round down costs a bit. For more information about advocating for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, please visit https://www.ceasefire-now.com!
