Op maandagavond 17 april van 19.15 tot 20.00 uur wordt een nieuwe live-editie van De Ondernemer Draait Door gestreamd. De online talkshow is een initiatief van Platform Veilig Ondernemen (PVO) Noord-Holland. De uitzending ‘Maak gehackt van de Hacker’ staat in het teken van phishing en ransomware. Het doel van de talkshow is om mkb-ondernemers in Noord-Holland bewuster te maken van de risico’s maar ook wat je er zelf tegen kunt doen. De presentatie is in handen van acteur en presentator Frank Lammers. “Grotere ondernemingen in Noord-Holland lijken zich steeds beter te beschermen tegen de risico’s en gevolgen van cybercriminaliteit. Het is van belang dat ook mkb-ondernemers maatregelen treffen,” aldus Josefien Hofstede, woordvoerder bij PVO Noord-Holland en sidekick van Frank Lammers tijdens de talkshow. “Op 17 april nemen we de ondernemers uit Noord-Holland drie kwartier mee in de wereld van phishing en ransomware.” Presentator Frank Lammers zal tijdens de uitzending een tal van onderwerpen bespreken waaronder het belang van het doen van meldingen bij cyberaanvallen, de rol van de gemeente bij de aanpak van cybercriminaliteit, de aansprakelijkheid van de ondernemer en medewerkers bij cyberaanvallen en de mogelijkheid tot verzekering. Door zich te laten informeren kunnen ondernemers hun kennis over cyberveiligheid vergroten en naar eigen inzicht passende maatregelen nemen tegen cyberaanvallen. Ervaringsverhalen Tijdens de talkshow komen ervaringsverhalen aan bod van Jan Rosier, ondernemer en voorzitter van de Hoornse Ondernemers Compagnie en Daan van Es, commercieel directeur van verzekeraar De Heer & Partners uit Haarlem. Van Es spreekt over een situatie die hij vernam van een van zijn klanten, “Via een achterdeurtje in het systeem van een klant kwamen cybercriminelen hun bedrijf binnen. Met vervelende gevolgen voor een aantal van hun afnemers.” Corien Fahner, plaatsvervangend hoofdofficier van het Openbaar Ministerie in Noord-Holland, gaat tijdens de talkshow in op hoe succesvol strafvervolging kan zijn en wat de rol van de ondernemer daarbij is. In het kader van de landelijke Week van de Veiligheid organiseren winkeliers, Platform Veilig Ondernemen Noord-Holland (PVO Noord-Holland) en de gemeente Haarlemmermeer op 7 oktober een gratis ondernemersontbijt in winkelcentrum Vier Meren in Hoofddorp. Dit evenement biedt ondernemers in Haarlemmermeer de kans om ervaringen te delen en is gericht op het aanpakken van winkeldiefstal en het voorkomen van agressie en geweld. Ondersteuning bij veiligheidsvragen Tijdens het ontbijt komen vragen aan bod zoals: “Hoe ga je om met een winkeldief?” en “Hoe spreek je jongeren aan op wangedrag in winkelgebieden zonder escalatie?” Na het evenement gaan deelnemers naar huis met antwoorden op deze vragen, praktische handvatten en tips voor een veilige werkomgeving. "Veiligheid is een gezamenlijke verantwoordelijkheid," zegt Linda Hoorn, coördinator bij PVO Noord-Holland. "Met dit ontbijt willen we ondernemers concrete tools geven om hun winkelomgeving veiliger te maken." “Yo, Y/N! Your boy is back with y’all guests.” I hear one of the men yell out.

“Thanks.” I yelled back as I got up. Turning to the group, I wave my hand in a come-on motion. We met them in the hallway. The three of them were happy to see Thomes and Newt back safely. And I hugged Gally, but I could tell something was going on in his head. He just shakes his head at me and walks away to our apartment taking me with him by the hand. “Guys, come on.” I told the group behind us, and we walked up to the apartment.

Time skip

“No. There’s gotta be another way.” Thomes says after Gally explains to Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge what the plan is. We are in the map room now and I’m sitting between Gally and Brenda. And let me tell you Brinda has been giving Thomes a look since Treasa name was said the first time.

“Like what? You’ve seen the building.” Gally tells him. “She is our only way in.”

“You really think she’s gonna help us?”

“I don’t plan on asking for her permission.”

“Am I missing something here?” Brenda cuts in. “This is the same girl who betrayed us, correct? Same dick?” There it is. She doesn’t like Treasa and I don’t blame her at all.

“I like her.” Gally says pointing at Brenda.

“Me too.” I say as well and give a small smile to her. We all look at Thomes.

“What’s going on?” Brenda questions. It’s silent for a moment.

“What, are you afraid your little girlfriend’s gonna get hurt?” Newt asked with some spite in his voice. I look up at Gally who is watching the two of them. “Hmm? Because this has obviously never been just about rescuing Minho. Has it?” I can tell Newts getting angrier, and that me not really knowing the guy.

“Wait, what are you talking about?” Thomes ask confused. Come on Thomes, even I can see why Newt, and Brinda, are both upset.

“Teresa.” They both stand up to their full height. “She’s the only reason that Minho’s even missing in the first place.” Newt starts to get in Thomes face. “Now we finally have an opportunity to get him back. And what?” Newt walks forward as Thomes walks backwards. “You don’t want to because of her? Because deep down inside you still care about her, don’t you? Just admit it.”

“Newt, I…” Thomes starts.

“Don’t lie to me!” Newt yells and pushes Thomes up against the wall. Making us all jump and some of us move towards them. “Don’t lie to me!” Then he calms down and release Thomes. “Sorry.” He says barely loud enough for the rest of us to hear. He turns and looks at the rest of us. “I’m sorry,” And walks away, as Thomes and Gally look at each other. I got up while everyone gaze followed where Newt went.

“I’m going to go check on him.”  And walk out to follow him before anything else is said. I find him on top of the roof sitting on the edge. “Hello.” I call out so I don’t scare him. “May I sit?” I point to the spot next to him and he just nods. We sat in silence; he looks at his arm and I see the veins. “I know we don’t really know each other. But how long have you known you’re not immune?” I asked and he just looked at me. “I’ve delt with it before. The outburst back there, along with you continuously rubbing and looking at your hands gave it away to me.”

“A few months ago, I figured it out. I’ve been keeping it a secret form everyone.” He told me and I nodded my head. “So, I’ve answered a question from you so, you answer a question for me. How you get here?”

“Well, just like you, Gall, Thomes, Frypan, and…” I stopped letting put a sigh “Tearsa. Who I’m already disliking. I was in a maze as well, I just got through my maze before they expected me to. So, they toke me and threw me out into the middle of the scorch and basically told me to survive on my own. Well, I was stealing from Lawrence group one day when they found me. They brought me here and I was able to get Lawrence to let me stay and not sell me back to WECD.” Newt just nods. “I won’t say you’ll be fine cause I don’t see the future. But I’ll do my best to make sure you live long enough to see WCKD fall.” I give him a smile.

“Thank you.” He returned the smile. “You changed Gally, I can tell he’s more protective now. But you’ve also changed him for good and I’m happy that he’s found you.”

“Well, technically I found him with a spear through his chest.” We both laughed. “Who threw the spear by the way?”

“Minho. The one we’re trying to save.” Newt answers back with a look.

“I can’t wait to meet him.” Newt gave me a look. “What? You don’t thing Gally and I didn’t talk about out time in our mazes?” I smiled and got up as he nodded. “Take your time out here. It’s always good to take a break.” I told him and walked back in passing Thomes on the way and I gave him a nod.

“Hey, Love.” Gally says as I reach him.

“Hi.” I gave him a smile before hugging him tightly. “It’s about to get hectic, isn’t it?” I asked.

“More than you know. Come we got to get ready for Tearsa arrival.” He kissed me on the head before we started walking.

Time skip (A few hours)

Gally and Thomes just got back with Tearsa. I sit on top of the table next to Gally who’s leaning on it and Thomes who’s sitting in a chair. Everyone else was scattered around the room. She is now sitting in a chair in front of all of us and Newt takes her hood off. She is panting and looks around at all of us, staring at me longer as though I might be recognizable to her.

“Gally?” She questions.

“Here’s how this is gonna go.” He starts and hands me papers that I throw on to the table behind me. “We’re gonna ask you some questions, and you’re gonna tell us exactly what we need to know.” I’m sorry but Galley’s authoritative voice to me is hot. “We’ll start off simple. Where’s Minho?” He gets up and picks up a chair setting it right in front of her backwards.

“You guys don’t seriously think…” She starts but is looking at Thomes. Gally slams the chair down and sits in it. I get up and move over by where Brinda is with Jorge has Brenda is playing solitaire.

“Don’t look at him. Why are you looking at him? Look at me.” He commands her. Again hot. “He not gonna help you.” He got her attention now. And Thomes looks like a kicked puppy dog. “Now, we know you have Minho in the building. Where?”

“He’s with the others in holding.” She admits “Sublevel three.”

“How many others?” Newt asked.

“28” She answers. Everyone looked at me and Brenda looked at each other and nodded.

“We can make that work.” Brenda says placing a card down on the table.

“No.” Tereasa starts “No, you guys don’t understand. The whole levels restricted. You can’t get in without a thumbprint ID.”

“That’s why you’re gonna come with us.” Thomes speaks for the first time since he’s gotten back.

“Well, I don’t know.” Gally speaks up. “We don’t necessarily need her. Right?” He gets up and moves the chair away and walks towards the table. “Not all of her.” He says as he picks up my scalpel from my medical kit that was on the table. “We just need her finger,”

“Gally, back off.” Thomes says.

“What are you squeamish?” He asked her. “I guarantee you she’s done a lot worse to Minho.”

“That’s not the plan.” Thomes stands and grabs the scalpel from Gally and hands it over to me as I stand too. “Back off.”

“It won’t make a difference.” Tearsa starts. “Do whatever you want to me. You still won’t get through the front door.” Gally sat back down again. “The sensors will pick you up the…”

“We know. We’re tagged.” I say walking up to her gesturing to Gally, Thomes, Newt, Frypan, and myself and she just stares at me. But Gally glared hard at her in turn, daring her to make a move. “Property of WICKED.” I bend down. “You’re gonna help us with that, too.” Holding up the scalpel and giving her a smirk.

“Try to relax. This is going to sting.” She told me a short time later after she had done Newt, Frypan, and Gally. Thomes wanted to go last so it was my turn now. Gally not going too far from where we sat. I let out a deep breath as she makes the incision. “You must be someone form the other maze. The One with all girls?”

“Yeah, what’s it to you?” I replied. I can feel her poking around the back of my neck, like a small bug crawling around back there.

“I’m just curious as to why you’re here. How did you get her?” She asked has she removed the tag; I hissed a little. Gally snapped his head towards us and I just held up my hand to stop him as I stood up.

“Nothing you need to know about.” I told her has I grabbed a gauze for the small table and walked away. Letting Thomes sit down and start his turn. I get to Gally and Frypan holding the wad of gauze against the back of my neck. I hear behind me Thomes grunting, guessing they have started.

“She enjoyed that.” Gally says as he throws his blood cover gauze onto the table. Moving to look at mine.

“You are probably right.” Frypan replies looking at us. I give him a little smile, then turn my gaze to Gally aging.

“It wasn’t that bad.” I said and Gally just gives me a look that say to you it might. Why Frypan tilts his head to the right in a questionable look. “I have worse pain. Some just cause I’m a female.”

“Here. See if these fit.” Newt comes in with clothes. Handing them to each of us. We all thanked him. I put mine on the table as I removed my bandage. Gally is immediately behind me looking at it, he then gives me a kiss to the back of the head. He helps me with the jacket before trying his own. All the while two conversations are happening, one of Brenda and Jorge, the other Thomes and Tearsa. I see Jorge walk away and Brenda comes over to me as I give her a small smile and a hip bump. Thomes suddenly made a movement, getting and I looked towards them. Tearsa gets up to and folles him.

“You don’t believe me?” She asked. What should Thomes be believing in her about?

“Do you really expect me to?” Thomes questions getting closer to her. I hit Gally’s shoulder and nodded my head in their direction. “You made your choice.” Gally moves towards them.

“Everything okay over here?” He asked Thomes. Thomes gives him a glance.

“Yeah.” Thomes replies. “Yeah, we’re done.” Walking away from her. Tearsa turns to make a grab for something, but Gally stops her, grabbing her by the hand.

“Nice try.” He tells her before leading her to where we were going to be keeping her before we go. Thomes walks over to me and Brenda.

“You were in love with her, weren’t you?” Brenda asked. And that’s my cue to leave, I’m out. I head towards mine and Gally’s room to grab a few things before we leave. Mostly small thongs that have been given to me by Gally.
