While learning how to create custom skintone for Sims 4 realized my favorite actor from childhood has only lame ass quality photos T___T Nothing even close to be skinned from. Had to paint his skin from scratch manually. I think my hand is gonna fell off soon XD But I'm going there! I'm going there!

Hi, I hope this question is fine! I adore the black male sim you made for the Pretty Pit sideburns and I wanted to know if he is based on an actor, and whom. I hope you have a wonderful day, your creations are AMAZING!

Aww, this is so sweet of you to ask! Thank you so much! Well Answering to your question - No. Pretty Pit / Tommy Gun sim isn't based on any actor. BUT. When I was creating him I was kind of thinking about the Prince. Not that I wanted to recreate the Prince, just give my sim same kind of vibe.

P.S. I know very little about Prince and his music, but I once saw this clip and found it super inspiring! So yeah... That's how Pretty Pit / Tommy Gun was born ;D

A Year of War

This very day... A year ago we all woke up from the sounds of bombs. Somehow, very clearly, I remember the dream I had that night. I was dreaming about huge blood-red wave that was coming on us. People rushed to run from it, yet those who was too close to the shore disappeared under this horrible water when the wave crushed on them. I was lucky because stood too far from it. This dream was prophetic. Russian army came close to my city, yet didn't manage to conquer it. And, like in my dream, our first thought was to run. But then... When I actually started to gather my things I realized. I can't run. Where would I go? Ukraine is my home. I didn't want to be one of those on the run. I didn't want to be that stranger, that foreigner, that refugee. Somehow I knew I won't find peace running. I must face it no matter what. I must fight. So I stayed. But it's not my luck that keeps me safe - it's Ukrainian army I will always be grateful for. I also want to thank everyone who responded in the very first days of the war, helped me, donated me and support me still. I am truly gratitude to all of you. You're all amazing people. I wish you all to be safe and healthy. You were with me through bombs and blackout, and all the horrors. I can't say if it will be ended soon or what comes next. But I saw a dream about the beginning of this war, I also saw a dream about the end of it. And it was good end, because the tyrant was defeated.

Blackout in Ukraine

My dear kittens and puppies! 

I know I promised some of you to share Anakin Sim this month, but alas... The reality decided against it. As you may know, this Autumn russia began to bomb our civil infrastructure massively. Due to constant shelling our energetic system suffers a lot and we experience total blackout during days. Without electricity, water and heating. And we're expecting it to get much worse. Without doubt, this winter will be the hardest for Ukraine since the days of it's independence. 

That's why, I'm physically not able to share Anakin this month and I don't know if I have any opportunity to share him on December. Of course, I'll do the best I can to keep up updating my blog here and my Patreon, but you must understand if there will be long pauses between posts. Also, I would like to ask you not to demand sims from me in the private messages. During this winter (and probably till the end of this war) there's nothing I can do to give them away instantly. Sharing sims, alas, takes time,  internet, electricity and (no less importantly) my good spirit I might not have. 

I want to thank everyone who's supporting me during these dark times. Every dollar means a lot to me. On the money you so kindly donated, I managed to support my army, buy power banks, weekly dry food and water supplies and candles to keep me and my family alive. Bombs can still hit my house, though. But if you see a new post from Wistful Poltergeist - know that I'm still breathing.

I rarely do this. Talk about how things are going in my life. I know lots of people here on tumblr came in just to relax and watch nice pictures. They don’t want to hear about... bad things, about the war. But for me, as Ukrainian who stays and lives in Ukraine during the war, this is vital sometimes. Vital to tell that one day there will be no "nice pictures", no place to hide your head in, there will be no you even if you put the priority of comfortable silence above the voice against injustice.

Hi! Thank you very much for your kindness and your support! The war's keep turning into the next swirl of this devil's funnel. It's not easy and it's still lasting. And we keep fighting. If you see my cheerful posts about sims here it's not because I feel good, but because I want to feel good. I want to keep sane. And my little sim's world sometimes helps me, distracts me from my gloomy thoughts. Adding a video with another stray cat we met with my sister recently. As you can hear… again. Under the sound of air sirens:

She's very sweet and super friendly this new kitty^^ I believe she used to belong to someone. She already showed a peculiar behavior trait. She won't eat unless you pet her:D
