I'm only up to chapter 6 and I'm hooked. If you're intrested in a story about the purpose of success, happiness, identity, societal roles, fear of the unknown, and how cool rabbids are... I highly recommend it👍

What emotion causes moon mites to wag their tails?

This is very important information I need, and my memory is dookie

Excitement, either of happiness, anxiousness, or aggression. If the excitement is intense their tail and the fur on their spines puff up.

They'll also sometimes flick their tails as a sign of intrigue or confusion. It's a bit involuntary so sometimes they may startle themselves and in turn their tail flicks, they flinch, and they get stuck in a cycle of being bewildered by their own tail. It can make them a little frustrated, worst case scenario they have torn their own tail off enough times from the frustration that it's stopped regenerating. Tail-less ass 💔

thought id drop some doodles i did recently. ive been very busy so i haven't had time to draw as of late, but I at least have these few!!

first up we got this guy, i dont have a name for them yet but they tie into the cupcel idea i've got goin on, a mite helpin cupcake hunt maybe? or perhaps a repeat customer,, (very recent like today doodles i love them already, i will lore them eventually)

also if the blood shedding is accurate for moon mites as well as rabbids I'd like to think the small eye just has a lot of stuck shed

NEXT UP

these guys would not fit into cannon at all but I enjoyed transferring their rabbid designs into moon mites. I've been contemplating the logistics of their language barriers, esp since most of them dont actually have moon mite brains (or any at all) (looking at you ecto). Theres also mites' indestructability and the skinsuits, so maybe the suits for most of them are mite adjacent and not actually made of mite? not counting dollface hes a, Hodgepodge. there is a story here, but the gist of it is mad scientist and his sit-com family of experiments locked in a bunker together indefinitely (plus a soldier mite he paid off but i forgot to draw her w/ the rest of the crew :sob:)

also i love the idea of repeat lobotomies, near immortality n all would (probably) make their brains regenerate over time. unruly patient regained consciousness? just re-lobotomize them!
