Transformers ONE: a quick overview

I'm fresh off my second viewing of TF ONE (at the time of writing) (yes I am that kind of nerd) and I really gotta get my thoughts out on it because it is such a spectacular film and easily one of the best pieces of media this franchise has seen, like, ever. This first bit will just be some general thoughts and full on spoiler-y stuff will be below the line in case you still haven't seen it, which is something you should go and fix, like, right now. Do it. Go watch the movie.

First off, the whole thing is just. Gorgeous. Nearly every frame is its own work of art. Cybertron is realized beautifully, both in Iacon and on the surface. Buildings hanging from the ceiling, endless layers and impossible heights, it's so easy to get lost in it all. It contrasts amazingly with the grungy, cramped mines and the harsh, living crust that's constantly changing and shifting. The visuals alone sell this film.

Orion and D-16's friendship is handled impeccably. It's really fun to watch them bounce off each other and it's easy to see why they're friends. What's even better is watching them fall out. This is your spoiler warning, because even if you know exactly where they're going to end up (which is likely if you've consumed nearly any Transformers media in the like, past decade?), the fun part is seeing how they get there.

oh and like. Bee and Elita are alright. I guess. They're probably not why you're here but y'know. Scarlett Johansson was ok. I thought some of her deliveries were kinda weak, especially by comparison to Brian Tyree Henry and Chris Hemsworth, but she wasn't bad. Neither was Keegan-Michael Key. I found Bee a bit grating but that was kinda the point and he was still funny, so.

Alright. You've seen the movie? You don't care? We're clear? Good.

You can see the exact moments that turn D-16 into Megatron. Yet even before those you get these tiny little hints that he's a bit off. He goes off about killing Orion or straight-up mutilating him, but it was a joke guys, he didn't mean it! "I'll melt your face into slag" isn't a sign of a sound individual, no matter how casually it's said. He's only convinced to go on Orion's quest for the matrix by the allure of praise and adoration. Everyone else is shocked or remorseful when they hear about the Primes getting killed, while D-16 is angry. The second he saw Sentinel's betrayal he was thinking about what he could do to him. How he, personally, was betrayed by what he'd done. How he could get his revenge. He took every single slight against the entirety of Cybertron, the betrayal and selling out of their race, as a personal offense. He slaved in the mines to fuel the Quintessons. He had his T-cog ripped out. His hero was killed. His idol was a traitor. Why shouldn't he be the one to set it all right? Then there's his declaration to kill every one of Sentinel's followers. Right before they're captured by the high guard, he's telling Orion that none of Iacon would turn their backs on Sentinel, that even when shown his lies like they were, they would ignore it. They would continue to follow him. He was fully comfortably slaughtering every single person that even for a second believed in the system like he did. There was one bot that tried to talk sense in to him, but he had stopped listening long ago.

Orion Pax is great. He's (going to be) the boy, he kinda has to be. Right off the bat you're shown that he's a rule breaker and not contempt with the system. He wants to find the matrix not to please Sentinel, but to help his fellow Cybertronians. He wants to bring back the flow of energon to make everyone's lives better, especially for those down in the mines. He's eager to do a good job in them because he wants to help. He's a little self centered about it all, certainly, but it always comes off as for the greater good. He broke protocol to save Jazz when the mines were collapsing. He broke into the Iacon 5000 to show the city that all miners were capable of more, not just that he was. He knew that there was more for everyone than just mining more energon. He's looking for a way to make things better. This is one of the many things that helps set him apart from D-16, who, while not happy with his place in the world, was content. He believed it would all work out as long as he stayed in his lane and did his part, even if that lane sucked. Then there's his reaction to the truth. He feels sorrow and anguish when he learns the Primes were betrayed and killed. He mourns the loss of life. He's put off by how eager D-16 was after killing one of Sentinels guards. He tries talking him down but it doesn't work. He's dead set on that path and there's no getting him off it. You can see the fear in Orion's eyes that there might be no turning back for his friend as he's fighting Starscream. It's a side of him he's never seen before and he doesn't like it. The rage. The unrestrained, unfettered violence. The sheer brutality in both his blows and his words. But there's still a shred of hope that, once this is all over, he'll have his friend back.

That last scene man. I cried in both my viewings. Orion is desperately trying to talk D-16 down, hoping that maybe, just maybe his friend will listen one last time. Sentinel is beaten. He's been completely exposed. He can't run. He can't fight back. There's nothing left for him except to be taken in and shown justice, but D-16 isn't having it. He will give Sentinel what he feels he deserves. He will tear down everything that traitor has built. He will rebuild their new world. He. Will. Have. His. Revenge. And he's not letting anyone get in his way. Orion jumps in front of Sentinel in a final bid to do the right thing, to preserve some sense of right, to get his friend to see the light, but it's not enough. He takes the blow. He gets knocked to the edge, and out of instinct D-16 grabs him. Then he lets go. He lets Orion fall to the depths of Cybertron and. Man. The music swelling as the planet itself parts to bring him to the core. D-16 tearing Sentinel in half. Any and all remaining clutter and debris clearing as the core comes into view. D-16 declaring the traitor as finally dead. That the age of Primes and their impersonators is gone with him. Primus himself grabbing Orion and saving him. D-16 tearing the stolen cog from Sentinel's lifeless torso. The Thirteen Primes coming forth from the core to induct Orion. D-16 upgrading himself into his new form while Orion is healed and blessed with his. D-16 declares himself as Megatron at the same time that Orion Pax is given the title of Optimus Prime. It's powerful stuff. Any other flaws this movie has are rendered completely null and void by that one moment. It's that good and I can not wait to see what comes next.

I want to end the review there because *gestures broadly* but I still have more to say. I am. SO fucking glad Optimus isn't the reincarnation of one of the Thirteen or anything like in IDW(?) and the Aligned continuity. It's Orion Pax's destiny to become Optimus Prime, don't get me wrong, but he still has to earn that. He shouldn't be handed it on a silver platter because whoopsie daisy yur the reincarnation of one of robot god's direct descendants kid. So I am very happy to say ONE Orion worked for his new title. He stood up for what was right. He fought against injustice. He didn't take the easy way out. His creator saw that he was worthy of more and granted it to him. And it's such good contrast to Megatron, who took the power that he wanted, not caring who got hurt in the process. Just. God damn it I love having actual themes to dissect and analyze and character arcs and stuff. Feels fucking good man.

What other conditions cause phantoms than amputation? What treatments do people use if it’s painful? This focuses on facts, acknowledges mysteries, and respects people who are disabled or marginalized. Section two is my original research about people who feel sensations of nonhuman body parts, for example, a tail. This comes from my survey of more than 1000 adults. How do people name, describe, and live with these sensations? This is a neutral presentation of differing opinions so you can form your own. People feel phantoms for many reasons. Let's find out what our experiences do and don’t have in common, and what we can learn from one another."

The 18+ rating is because some of the body parts it talks about are sex organs, even though it's similar to a health class. I'm eventually going to re-do this whole presentation, and I apologize for my lecture quality in this one. (I grossly overshot how long my outline would turn out to be, so it feels rushed and unfinished! Am I going to start my own channel where I make four hour long lecture videos!?) In any case, this is also the start of what I'll be turning into a book, so that I can cite from more medical journal articles, and give more detailed information about the results of the survey. Hello! I apologize if you have answered something like this before but I wanted to know if you could give a description of how Optimus looks in your Two Sides to a Coin series after his resurrection? from what I remember there was a brief overview of how he looks but nothing detailed.

In Two Sides to a Coin, me and my co-author opted to keep Optimus's description somewhat vague for a few reasons. Firstly, we didn't like bricktimus Prime's bod despite the fact that it is canon, so we just took what we liked (like the jetpack) while the rest remained undefined. Secondly, we wanted to leave room for readers to imagine whatever they see as the ideal TFP Optimus Prime for the time being. And finally, we have plans for future additions to the series that will adjust Optimus's appearance, so he's not set in stone right now.

I will say that Optimus currently has an engraving hidden beneath his jetpack (essentially a tattoo). He also does match Orion Pax in overall design and has an almost exact replica of his voice. Take that as you will. But there is a reason Megatron described Optimus as being a living corpse throughout the war. The similarities between both OPs are uncanny.

Section 3.1.2: Unregistered Contractors (Periphery States)

Part 41, Federica Knox ("Knox's Knaves")

[1.0] Unit Overview

Knox's Knaves (see attached file for heraldry) are a small-medium mercenary unit operating in the rimward inner sphere and periphery. Intelligence shared by the Federated Suns suggests it can field two BattleMech lances, supported by a DropShip and an unconfirmed formation of Inner Sphere Standard battle armor. Conflicting reports claim that the Knaves possess at least one point of Elemental battle armor, but this is unlikely due to lack of historical Clan presence in the region.

[2.0] History

Knox’s Knaves were founded and are led by Captain Federica Knox, a MechWarrior and former soldier in the I Corps of the Taurian Defense Force. Her family history is unclear, though it is known that previous generations emigrated to the Taurian Concordat from elsewhere in the Periphery. Notably, Knox claims relation to a Clan Mongoose, styling herself as “The Last Khan of Clan Mongoose.” (see section 2.1)

[2.1] Claimancy

Clan historical records refer to a Clan Mongoose that was destroyed and absorbed by Clan Smoke Jaguar circa 2868. The likelihood of Knox holding blood relation to these Clanners is very low, and it is much more probable that her title was invented to impress denizens of the rimward Periphery who are unfamiliar with the clans. There is no record of Knox herself having ever been in contact with members of the Clans.

[3.0] Combat Record

Knox pilots the Orion ON1-MB Jackalope. She has proven to be a capable BattleMech commander and pilot, surviving at least five combat actions including two “hot drops” into enemy fire.

[4.0] Known Employers

Knox's Knaves are known to have been hired by public and private interests in both the Taurian Concordat and the Magistracy of Canopus. The unit is also known to take clients deeper in the Periphery, but no records indicate that it has ever been hired within the Inner Sphere, though evidence exists that the unit has been hired to act against the Federated Suns at least twice (see after action report: New Shriner)

[5.0] Current Status

The current operating theater of Knox's Knaves is currently unknown. It is not unusual for smaller unregistered mercenary units to occasionally operate outside of the MRBC information gathering sphere, however, so this is not cause for alarm.

[6.0] Conclusion

The MRBC Information Division recommends loose observation of the situation to stay aware of any changes in astropolitical events involving Knox's Knaves. Aside from possible ties to the Clans, the unit is fairly standard as a Periphery mercenary company. Federica Knox may be a useful asset in actions against House Davion. Personnel have been dispatched to gauge usefulness to the Commission.

Hello, hello, and welcome to this overview of my Transformers fanfictions. ^^

Some basic information:

I draw inspiration from different continuities but so far I've mostly written stuff within the TFP universe because that's the one I am most familiar with.

Pairings may vary across continuities.

However, my main focus tends to be the parental relationship that Optimus (and Ratchet, at least in TFP) have with Bumblebee.

I mainly write angst, sometimes comfort, found family Transformers stuff as I've explained to an offline friend.

Champions Aren't Born (September 2023 - ?) - unfinished, 3/? chapter - last update: 10.08.2024

When a scout injured at Tyger Pax turns out to be barely older than a sparkling, Optimus and Ratchet are horrified. Nevertheless they are determined to keep the youngling safe from now on. But while they try to grapple with the challenges of trying to care for a traumatised youngling, their time is running out. Not only are the days of Cybertron counted and their departure now inevitable, but they also need to find the bot who took in a sparkling to send him onto the battlefield.

Empty Words by Empty Sparks (July 2024) - finished, 1 chapter, drabble - 400 words

“I’m still writing letters to you.” It’s the only justification Bumblebee can think of as he stands in front of Optimus Prime’s grave for the first time since his funeral hexacycles ago.

Make You Feel Alright (June - July 2024) - finished, 5 chapters - 23,105 words

Primus knew, Ratchet would do anything to shield his sparkling from harm. Yet, the War made exceptions for no one, not even at the insistence and threats of grumpy old medics. Thus, sometimes the only thing Ratchet could do was to hold and comfort Bumblebee in the aftermath of disaster.

Or: 5 times Ratchet had to encourage Bumblebee to open his servo. The gritty, the wholesome and the dark.

Nooks & Crevices (August 2024 - ?) - unfinished, 1/6 chapters

Hiding was a skill essential to those growing up on Cybertron during the Civil War. However, for a certain vibrantly yellow sparkling raised by the Autobot High Command, and highly sought after by the Decepticons, being able to stay undetected is even more vital than most. It’s a good thing then that Bumblebee is a natural.

Or: 5 times Bumblebee ‘played’ Hide & Seek with his family and 1 time a Decepticon played with him.

Numb Little Bug - currently in writing, 1 chapter - oneshot - hopefully going to be finished by the end of August

The feeling was already there when it became aware of life for the first time. It was eternally graceful and wise. The feeling would still be there long after its awareness of life had seized. It was eternally graceful and cruel.

When Optimus Prime gave up the Matrix of Leadership and his memories, some of the Autobots lost more than just their leader.

Ex-RID #17: “Shockwaves”

Shockwave choosing a Prime and planting a “seed” in the ruins of Crystal City.

Shockwave became a senator in the wake of Jhiaxus and the others departing. He opens his school at this time.

Reveals Proteus was the one who assassinated Nominus to make Sentinel Prime.

1st Cycle, 012, Megatron is born in Con Facility 113, the Silver Harvest of Tarn as a miner.

Transformers (v2) #22-23

Megatron may be working at the mine under Nova Point at this point in time in Iacon.

4th Cycle, 499, Megatron is assaulted by Whirl in jail after being arrested in a bar fight. He meets Captain Orion Pax.

There was an attempted assassination attempt on Nominus Prime in the news by a bomber. Orion Pax, Captain of the Dead End area of Rodion. A few hours after Orion arrests Whirl and releases Megatron, Whirl’s friends fight him and Orion Pax pushes his way into the Senate and meets Shockwave.

The Senate is voting on the Clampdown.

Shockwave decides to make Orion the Prime he chose.

More Than Meets the Eye #34

Megatron has been sent to Messatine, partially due to Orion Pax name dropping him in the Senate, and Trepan prepares to Shadowplay him as things have been escalating. He has befriended Terminus who has been smuggling out his writings. Terminus vanishes (saved by Necrobot) and Megatron is racked with guilt about taking his writings instead. He internalizes this later. Terminus was the one pushing for Megatron to be a center figure while Megatron was more for group/community involvement.

More Than Meets The Eye #9-11: Shadowplay | More Than Meets The Eye #37

“Iacon, 4th Cycle 501-Pre-War. A few cycles earlier, the word ‘Decepticon’ first appeared in connection to the samizdat writings credited to a certain miner from Tarn. Nominus Prime hasn’t been seen since the assassination attempt, and the Clampdown is in full force. Proteus and the increasingly factionalized Senate are struggling to manage a population demanding greater influence over decisions taken in its name. The shanix is trading poorly against the galactic currencies. The Primal Guard is embroiled in the Phobos Controversy. And in sports news, Blurr has won the Ibex Cup for the tenth cycle running.” - Rewind

1st Chord, 4th Cycle, 501

In the news at the time a ex-military former Primal Vanguard member burst into a Relinquishment Clinic and started shooting donors.

Prowl and Chromedome were working in Iacon/Rodion at this point. Macadam’s was in their precinct.

Drift and Ratchet meet in Ratchet's Dead End clinic. Ratchet and Orion are already friends.

Orion and the Outliers steal the fake Matrix and in doing so anger the government.

Senator Shockwave is shadowplayed. Orion Pax goes on the run.

More Than Meets The Eyes #36 | Megatron Origin #1

Orion Pax and the Outliers are on the run and defending the sparks in Alyon.

1st Cycle, 502, for several subcycles has been on the run from Sentinel. Meets Zeta of Sistex he contacts Shockwave’s old allies and outliers and went underground. Orion is delighted to talk to Megatron and invites him to join them. Orion mentions Megatron is older than him but still young.

1st Cycle, 502, having been transferred to Croteus-12 (Mining Outpost C-12) Megatron has been seething since the lose of Terminus and the assault by Trepan. Decimus will be closing them down. Megatron kills this day.

Sentinel orders Prowl to investigate the attack on Decimus because he doesn’t want to.

Megatron Origin #2

Time Skip for Megatron to establish himself.

Prowl has been investigating and uncovered the arena and Megatron. They are moving in on him at the same time Soundwave is meeting him for the first time.

Drit #2 & 3

Megatron recruits and renames Drift at a Decepticon Rally. He is named Deadlock and already has a reputation as a killer.

Ex-RID #17: “Shockwaves”

Megatron recruits Shockwave via Starscream after the Senate meeting about the Energon Crisis. This is during Megatron Origins.

Orion reunites with him on the streets the day before the Senate assassination.

Shockwave visits Dai Atlus to injury him and prevent him from being caught in the destruction.

Megatron Origin #3 & 4

Has Constructicons and Combaticons and the deal with Soundwave in place. Megatron begins moving against the government.

Recruits Starscream and others.

Funeral for the cops.

Seekers attack Decimus’s “recognition of service”. Kidnap the Senator as part of the trap and the cops arrest them all.

Kaon take over. Prowl after seeing Sentinel fall makes executive decision to pullout forces and the Iacon backup turns into evac team.

Additional Notes (Exact Dates Uncertain):

Ratchet and Drift are born before Orion (a little after Megatron) and Megatron (5 million years ago)

Orion is born in Iacon

Rodimus is born half a million years after Megatron

Thunderclash knew Ratchet and helped him when he was studying. They both attended the Iaconian Academy of Science and Technology. Ratchet was attending medical school there and Orion Pax was there and they became friends

Prowl is brought online as a Cold Construct and serves in Petrex, a very prejudice town, where he learns how to get around rules. He eventually gets transferred to Iacon, around Rodion but not Orion's precinct. By the time of Croteus-12 he has transferred to Kaon under Sentinel directly, and seemingly fairly high up given his interactions, ability to give orders, and the presentations he gives.

Following Kaon, Zeta becomes Prime raising a New Senate and the Decepticons begin occupying more territory.

Dominus and Rewind leave Cybertron before war breaks out to pursue Luna-1.

Declaration Day presumably happens following Kaon being taken over and Sentinel being killed.

The stars she reveals are the Pleiades and the belt of Orion, the former representing wisdom and the latter, the foolish hunter. In her left hand she grasps the moon and in her right the sun, so that she is herself the passage or mediator between the contraries of female and male, the unconscious and conscious modes. Her negative aspect is in her alternative role as pity, which "divides the soul." With this card, passage is possible to new lands, to a higher level of consciousness, or to a place of objectivity where you can gain perspective or get an overview. Once set in motion, keep the ball rolling. Take advantage of the resources and opportunities offered. You do not journey alone; let imagination be your guide. In the creative process, this shows where opportunities may be overlooked by blindly pushing forward without pausing for reassessment. This world was dying in the past, and the Celestials had gone to save humans from another world that was dying

The original humans of this world took matters into their own hands, and even though they did not have a seed of Primary like other worlds, they took their source of life and somehow brought a chunk of land up into space, making an artificial moon

This becomes the world of Bring Me That Horizon

The Celestials come back to a dead world, but they brought humans and their seed of Primary with them, so they settled on the planet

The seed of Primary is not able to fully revive this world, and the humans are using the seed as an energy source as well, so there’s just a little pocket of an empire that controls all the resources while the rest of the world is basically dead

The other species are pissed at the Celestials and the original humans for abandoning them, and they had to change into parasites to even find anything to feed on

Both the other species and humans are rich and control what goes on in the empire; the humans have their religion that worships the Celestials though, and the species want to fight the Celestials

Everyone also keeps talking about the “paradise” of the artificial moon, and the emperor has figured out how to bring it back down to the main planet. End Description]

A little bit different from the original

The original humans: being up on the artificial moon with none of the other species for a long ass time, emphasized their predator-like qualities; they have slit pupils and more carnivorous teeth, and their diets are a lot more carnivorous too; they can eat plants, but they don’t do much for them

The new humans: have more prey-like qualities; they tend to stay in groups and don’t like to be alone, they have pointed ears that help them hear better, and they have an easier time telling when the other species are pretending to be human

The Shades: we’ve done this song and dance so often, everyone knows what the Shades are, lol; parasitic shapeshifters that feed off of human emotions and can control one person if they can see them

The Faeries: a combination of the Snakes and the shadow species I had made; they feed on human blood, and they have snake scales over their skin, fangs, slit pupils, and tails; if their prey is within a certain distance of them, they can give the prey an order, and they have to follow it

The Venus Girdles (temporary name): they are mostly the same, feeding off of human souls with hair that looks like Venus Girdle jellyfish; they tend to keep to themselves outside the empire, stealing humans to feed on. End Description]

Formed up once the humans came with a new energy source

The wealthy and influential of the species and humans joined together and made the empire to hoard resources and make people dependent on them; they also include companies that make prosthetics and androids

The rich humans all worship the Celestials

Most of the rich of the other species hate the Celestials

There’s a poor area where most of the citizens live and are demonized, and I’m calling it the undercity right now, but the name most likely will change, lol

They have cops and controlled soldiers through chips in their brains (victims of the prosthetics experiments) to “keep the peace”, which means that they terrorize the undercity, and everyone thinks that anyone who has the prosthetics from the experiments is a soldier, and they see the victims as less than human and monsters. The elemental magic works basically the same as before, with both pros and cons, at least to begin with

There’s also the crystal magic from Bring Me That Horizon, where the person who has this magic glows and can turn liquids into crystals that are stronger than diamonds, and that they can control; the Shades on the artificial moon have control of it at the moment

There’s also the Celestial magic a person can get if they are the child of a Celestial, where they can turn into a dragon, anticipate what their opponent will do, and have light and lightning magic

There’s also this opposite magic that comes from a spoiler, where a person can turn into a phoenix, anticipate what their opponent will do, and have darkness and black fire magic

The religion preaches absolute peace, even ignoring and not helping the victims of violent crimes

The rebellion wants to fight against the empire and also has a distrust of the religion

The prosthetics experiments do come from this now, but there’s someone who’s using it for other plans

Thorne, Jude, and Irina are part of the rebellion at the start of the story

The rebellion is desperately looking for a symbol of the rebellion, and who better but a “reformed soldier”? End Description]

Holy shit, there will be a lot

I have merged four stories because I want to suffer

But I love them all, and I do have a plan to at least start this story with all of the POV characters being at the same party, so they’re at least linked, lol

I will first talk about the four POV characters. End Description]

The woman, the myth, the legend

She is my blorbo that I will never shut up about

I have given her all of the trauma

So, her real name is Ezra, and she was actually from the artificial moon and put through the Shades’ training (torture) to receive the crystal magic

So, her parents are actually alive for once!!!

But then Churi, the lead Shade, knew that Aeflin was looking for a weapon, and he thought Chess would be perfect for that, so he sent her there

There will be more about the prosthetics experiments in Naivi and Aeflin’s entries, but long story short, Chess got the Celestial magic and her fire magic, and she was sent to fight and kill some people, and she got epilepsy, and her chip broke, and she lost her memory

Then Ashont was horrible to her for a while, longer than in her original backstory

And now, she’s on the streets, getting abused by so many people, and just trying to survive

She has an awesome style, especially wearing a muzzle and a badass coat

Her hair is still super long and curly, but she has shaved the right side of her head

Still super traumatized about sex and trusting people and having any kind of happiness whatsoever

A black cat she named Mush does follow her around, and they have become very close

She is super overpowered, even if she doesn’t know it at the beginning of the story, but she deserves it

Sassy and flirty and loves stealing, she also has super low self esteem and thinks she probably is a monster.

She advocates for ignoring the victims of violent crimes because the religion believes only when humans are fully peaceful will the Celestials come back to live with and rule over the humans

She is also the religion’s liaison with the other species, and she especially works with Maisa

He is an asshole, but she endures him because she thinks it is vital for her to do whatever to keep good relations with the other species

She is very smart book-wise, but doesn’t really have street smarts

She’s totally autistic

She will learn to grow and challenge her beliefs throughout the story

I love her

Because Chess’s parents are alive, her parents have been killed (joking, there’s a narrative reason for them being dead in this one). End Description]

Hers is the most personal story with the least amount of worldwide calamity potential

Basically, she’s the daughter of the CEOs of an android company, and she has always thought of androids as people, so she’s been kind to them

Her parents hate that

She finally ran away from them five years ago, with her dog, Briar

But Briar got sick, and in desperation, Irina paid for her memories to be transferred into an android version of her dog, so she has android Briar now

But the company she got Briar from is her parents’ company, and even though she fully paid for Briar, after two years, the company is trying to take Briar back

They send an android named Vortex to take Briar back, but Vortex decides to find some loopholes to stop himself from actually taking Briar

Her parents are gonna get pissed about that too

When she ran away, Irina met Thorne and Jude and became part of the demon trio

They are all three hellions, and I love it

She is a little concerned with the leadership of the rebellion, having seen Aeflin there, and she knows Aeflin is a well-known scientist who’s working with leaders in the empire

I can assure you that Irina and Briar are gonna make it and have a happy ending. End Description]

Eclipse is from the artificial moon, and their parents were killed, and they were captured by the emperor

They don’t know they have a Celestial parent and have Celestial powers

I love them

A lot of their beginning story will stay the same; the party that everyone will be at in the beginning of the story will be a celebration of capturing Eclipse and bringing the paradise back down so “everyone” can use its resources

They want to kill the emperor and empress

The emperor wants them for their magic, and he also wants to learn more about the secret as to how they remained a paradise, but Eclipse is not even sure. End Description]

Half Shade, half human

Genderfluid, enjoying he/him, they/them, and she/her pronouns at different times (I’ll just use they/them for this slide, to not be overly confusing)

They were picked up off the streets of the undercity and adopted by a rich couple as part of a program that was out to “prove” that anyone can make it in the empire

They have been an overall nuisance ever since

They meet Chess at the party and go make out with her and have sex with her, and they cause a scandal

Which also turns the eyes of the rebellion on Chess to use her as the new face of the rebellion even though that’s the last thing she wants

As an apology, they decide to stick with Chess and help her out

Don’t know much about them for this version of the story yet, but they’re fun. End Description]

He is a little asshole with Jude, with Irina being slightly more diplomatic but still an asshole

He despises the empire and the Celestials

His parents were the controlled soldiers, and they were hurt and thrown into the undercity for having him

There, they were abused and died, and Thorne blames the empire and the religion for it, since he knows the other people in the undercity are just trying to survive too

He likes waxing poetic at times

He’s more outwardly serious than Jude and Irina, but he likes getting into shenanigans with them

His assignment with Jude at the beginning of the story is to capture Vesper

He still captures her with Jude by dancing with her until she’s exhausted. End Description]

He came from a wealthy family, but when he met Thorne when he tried to steal from Jude’s family, Jude decided to become friends and help Thorne, eventually culminating with running away from his parents and joining the rebellion with Thorne

He is super flashy in both his looks and his speech

My boy, he must be protected

He first started out as a pleasure android, but when he killed his owner after being abused, he ran to the undercity and almost got hurt, but Chess saved him

He now follows Chess around like a puppy when he can

It takes a lot for him to get a crush on anyone, but he totally will at least fall in love with Irina and Chess in this story

He’s extremely serious and insists that he isn’t a person

He also named himself Vortex because it sounded cool

Once he is sent to bring Briar back, he checks to see if Irina had been abusing Briar, and when he realizes that she hasn’t and actually loves Briar very much, he finds loopholes so he doesn’t actually take Briar back

He still has to pursue Irina though, but she knows that, he makes it clear to her that he has to

Which is how he falls in love with Irina, by being there for her and helping her keep Briar away from the company and her parents

They will go through some shit, but it’ll be interesting, and Vortex might just finally acknowledge that he’s a person at some point. End Description]

She devises the prosthetics experiments to make an army to fight the empire and the Celestials

One problem: Aeflin takes interest and “helps” her

Which means Aeflin takes away the victims and sends them off to be controlled soldiers which will be doing the exact opposite of what Naivi wants

She realizes this and makes a secret army without Aeflin knowing

Except, JK! She does, and she sends her own weapon, Chess, to devastate Naivi’s army (this is where Chess loses her memory and gets her epilepsy)

Chess does destroy Naivi’s army, but that just makes Naivi want to use her instead as a one-person army

Not sure how, but Naivi doesn’t know where Chess went, so she’s searching for her, and it’s when the rebellion decides to use her as their face of the rebellion, that Naivi finds where Chess is again

Which means she can totally start manipulating Chess into fighting the Celestials first and then the empire

This will turn into enemies to lovers, but there will be some fun stuff first of course

Naivi is honestly so obsessed with her own idea of justice that she’ll hurt any and everyone to get what she wants

At least until it’s the person that she has a crush on who almost dies, then she starts rethinking everything, yeesh. End Description]

She stumbles upon Triel’s crew, and she’s part of the big lore reveals, and she gets the phoenix magic in order to kill Eclipse

She’s so angry and so valid

This is Winslowdavidor, a Mechanic who chased after her father's TTCapsule and ended up inadvertently becoming a renegade Timelord

(Winnie 7)

She was just about to graduate the academy when she got news of his Death- his final regeneration- and couldn't let him go.

Dardeni (or Arden as he's usually called) left the academy to find his brother and never went back, and ends up stealing the TT Capsule of the bounty hunters chasing him... After they're killed off one by one by one of their own until only two are left.

The two collide with each other in the vortex, causing both Winnie and Arden to regenerate.

(Winnie 2 and Arden 2, ignore how I fucked up and gave her two left hands)

Winnie bypasses the symbiotic nucleating matrix to allow Arden to pilot his stolen TARDIS (he dumps the weapon system) and they become... Sort of friends due to the universe making them collide over and over again. (They did know each other as kids but drifted apart).

There's so much lore tbh I've had these characters since 2011 lmao so like it's all over the place

Like here's the Trio- Winnie 7, Arden 2, and Orion X, who are avatars of Entropy, coherence, and engagement supposed to be pawns to bring about the inevitable death of the universe but they decide fuck that and get blasted back through their own timelines in a loop until they figure out how to collapse it all into a stable bubble dimension

[Deca-cycle two overview report]

I have watched Megatron dutifully and found nothing of note so far. His schedule has thus far not varied in any significant manner. He does exactly the same things as listed in my previous report with only the slight variability involved in any daily affair. Quite frankly I am suspicious. He is one of the most dangerous mecha on Cybertron, I am hesitant to believe that he actually is content to remain as a simple domestic Conjunx.

All that changed in his routine was the simple instance of him breaking a glass by accident during a rather... heated personal engagement with Archivist Orion Pax. It was cleaned up rather quickly and I saw nothing of importance that could denote possible criminal behavior. However I will remain vigilant. The records show that Megatron has been known to remain in semi-docile states of extended periods of time to get what he wants. I would not put it past him now that our Prime, 𝔪𝔞𝔶 𝔥𝔢 𝔯𝔢𝔰𝔱 𝔦𝔫 𝔭𝔢𝔞𝔠𝔢, is no longer with us.

[Deca-cycle three overview report]

Again, nothing of much note has occurred regarding Megatron routine wise. However Archivist Orion Pax had an episode exactly three cycles ago a half groon after the light of Luna 1 faded. He awoke screaming and in a panic, likely due to a nightmare if prior reports are any indicator. He thrashed and clawed for a while before falling still. Megatron took him to the wash racks and I moved locations to observe as Megatron proceeded to wipe Orion Pax down and sing to him softly until he passed out again.

Orion Pax did not go into work that cycle and Megatron called the Lord Steward Ratchet to ask about possible additional medication. His tone and glyph usage were outrageous and worthy of being charged if he were in public, but unfortunately due to his position, he is practically untouchable. I could hear the Lord Steward speaking quite angerly over the line, and I do not begrudge him that. The tone and disrespect were more than enough to warrant it. 𝔅𝔩𝔞𝔰𝔭𝔥𝔢𝔪𝔢𝔯𝔰 𝔞𝔤𝔞𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔱 𝔬𝔲𝔯 𝔓𝔯𝔦𝔪𝔢 𝔡𝔢𝔰𝔢𝔯𝔳𝔢 𝔱𝔬 𝔰𝔲𝔣𝔣𝔢𝔯.

Orion Pax was tended to dutifully by Megatron and remained largely on berth rest as he was nursed back to health. The young apprentice to the Lord Steward came around mid cycle and brought a package of sedatives [Type 2389DS: Chemical Composition 2RHO]. First Aid proceeded to stay for around a Joor and made tea for Orion Pax which he then helped the Head Archivist consume under the ever present observation of Megatron. First Aid had basic conversation with Megatron and managed to get a smile out of Orion Pax as he talked about anything and everything. It was honestly a relief to listen to something aside from Megatron's usual rehearsing of poetry and Orion Pax's flowery language.

Upon First Aid's departure, everything returned to normal and the next cycle Orion Pax was back to work without issue. Megatron then continued with his regular routine and recited his latest work of poetry out loud 234 times before he was satisfied with its composition and proceeded to recite his secondary work 129 times until that too reached his standards. The contents of the poetry were nothing noteworthy and, as always, were largely focused around Orion Pax.

[Deca-cycle four overview report]

Megatron did near nothing of note once again. Orion Pax had no fits but Megatron did end up making a singular trip to the nearest energon supplier to collect groceries for the coming deca-cycle. His selection was slightly unusual compared to his usual choices. I did a careful check of what Megatron normally consumes and what energon he tends to prefer. It was not hard to sneak out of my hideout in the middle of Megatron and Orion Pax's recharge cycles to analyze their storage. With that said, Megatron already has quite the store of energon in the pantry, he should have had no reason to go to the supplier.

However he went anyway, and not only did he go, he also selected a strange set of items. He bought a series of high quality cubes of energon, two bottles of high grade, a pack of rust sticks, a small container of jellied energon, and a can of energon gummies. He then proceeded to bring those items back to his residence and hide them in the back of his pantry without telling Orion Pax.

It is suspicious, but it could be for some ulterior motive that is not malicious in nature. I will continue to observe.

[Deca-cycle five overview report]

Something is going on. Megatron's routine has remained constant save for two things. He has spent the last deca-cycle dutifully searching online for specific components for a machine. I do not know what he is devising, but it is concerning. He has already placed orders for gears and small parts to be delivered to his residence, but beyond that, he had made outings to collect other missing pieces from his device.

He wandered down a very shady part of the lower levels to meet with a dealer. I was unable to get close enough to see in any amount of detail, but I was able to watch an exchange of material for Shanix. It looked to be some kind of crystal, but I am unsure. Whatever it was, Megatron met with several other dealers over the course of a few cycles and returned to his residence with his prize in tow. He hid the items from my view and took the mechanical components he ordered into a small corner of his room where I have been unable to wire up my systems due to interference from the nearby residences datanet cabling.

Even during Megatron's recharge cycles I was unable to see what he war working on due to the simple fact that he hid his work within a small safe. This would usually not be an issue, I have been well trained in such things after all. However the safe was linked up to Megatron via datanet alerts, meaning that even if I break into it and see what is there without damaging the safe, there will still be an alert to wake him. I cannot be seen, he cannot know I am here.

I don't know what he is planning, I can't pinpoint it, but I WILL find out.

[Deca-cycle six overview report]

Its happening soon! Whatever it is Megatron has been planning and working towards, it will happen within the next deca-cycle, I am sure of it! He has cleared his schedule, begun ordering lighters, organic material called 'wax', and even an organic cloth that seems to be like a thermal sheet. I predict he is planning to commit arson in some way or form. I don't know where or why, but I am ready to strike the moment he shows his colors.

His strange device also seems to be finished. I could not observe its construction, but completed it seems to be mostly dome shaped and had a great many holes within its dome lid. The device now sits within the safe late into recharge cycles so I am kept from picking it apart to see its design. I don't know what it does, but things are looking potentially dangerous. Orion Pax is totally unaware of whatever is going on and has so far not noticed Megatron's behavior.

Megatron is planning something big, something influential that will make a statement. It will happen soon and I WILL be there to witness it and put a stop to it before it can grow to be a real danger. I would humbly request backup be made available throughout the next deca-cycle so that in the event I perish before I can stop his plans from coming to pass, someone can take my place and end the threat that is Megatron before its too late.

We cannot fail. Our Prime gave us this holy mission, it is our duty, our solemn task. I will no fall until my duty is done, and if I can, even in death I will serve. All for his glory.

Transformers: Heart of Primus Part 1: The Characters

This is a basic rundown of how I would write a Transformers story, taking elements from all over Transformers media as well as other non-Transformers franchises. This rundown will include basic character summaries and Part 2 will be an overview of how the story would play out. This is a long one, so sit back, relax, and get ready for Transformers: The Heart of Primus!

Note: Photos used for the characters are basic representatives of what the characters would look like, not a representative of their personalities (in some cases, but we’ll get to that).

First up, the main hero team: the Autobots

Orion: Not Optimus Prime just yet, leads a smaller squad of Autobots. The sudden death of his mentor/father figure, Sentinel Prime as well as the betrayal of his brother Megatronus weigh heavy on his spark. Orion is gravely injured at the hands of Megatron. The Autobots retreat only to crash land on a distant planet. The Heart of Primus (basically the Allspark) stowed away on their ship and rejuvenated him into Optimus Prime. (At the end of the season)

Bumblebee: By far the smallest of the Autobots. Bumblebee doesn’t let this get him down, however, as much as he is teased by other bots. This often leads Bumblebee to overcompensate by volunteering for any mission set in front of him, in turn forgetting to ask for help. Bumblebee’s not just fast in motion, but also in the processor being able to come up with tactics in a fight faster than you can say Transform and Rollout!

Bulkhead: This big behemoth hails not from Cybertron, but from a distant planet known as the Trac-Tor system. When it comes to strength, he is second only to the Decepticon bruiser Lugnut. Bulkhead brought his pets, the Dinobots, with him to Cybertron after Megatron destroyed their planet in a show of power. 

Jazz: The most chill bot you’ll ever meet. Jazz really doesn’t like to fight, preferring to sit back and jam out to Cybertronian tunes. Jazz was the originator of entertainment on Cybertron when he was swatting at an insecticon buzzing around his home. The funky beats created by hitting random objects was the first instance of music on Cybertron. His combat style consists of moves that he made up to be in tune with music he plays while fighting. This has been known to annoy every Decepticon he fights, as well as some of his teammates.

Powerglide: A former Decepticon and the Autobots’ air Patrol. It crushed his spark to see the once great leader Megatronus fall to darkness and become Megatron: The Fallen. Him and fellow Decepticon Jetfire defected from the Decepticon ranks, but Jetfire was killed when the pair was fleeing from Wrath, one of Megatron’s enforcers. Powerglide is the Autobots’ chief engineer of technology and weapons. Any gadget you can think of, powerglide probably invented it. He hopes to one day somehow resurrect his brother in arms.

Now time to discuss the main team of villains: the Decepticons.

Megatron: Megatron seized control of the Decepticons from Starscream in a trial by combat, causing Starscream to take any chance possible to reclaim his place one day. Only the strong should belong on Megatron’s perfect Cybertron. Though physically weaker, he is the only Decepticon that can best Lugnut in servo-to-servo combat. The only respect Megatron gives is towards his comrades. He would gladly lay down his spark for any one of them if it meant the Decepticon cause would reign supreme. He does not believe in sacrificing his troops as a means to an end. Each Decepticon has a purpose.

Starscream: Originally the supreme commander of the Decepticons. Starscream enacted the plan to take out the ruler of Cybertron and place himself as leader. With Sentinel, Orion and Megatronus out of the way, nobody would tell Starscream which star not to drain to keep Cybertron afloat. Who cares if the star’s death would wipe out an entire race? Cybertron needs Energon!

Lugnut: A certified, purple-oiled Decepticon zealot. If you have a Decepticon badge, you are a friend to Lugnut. If you are not wearing a Decepticon badge, or worse, weaning an Autobot badge, Lugnut will either try to convert you to the Decepticon cause, or flat out annihilate you on the spot. Leaving a crater where you once stood. Depending on how he feels that day.

Wrath: Megatron’s right-hand bot, much to the dismay of Lugnut. Wrath has all the brains that Lugnut had left out of his programming. He is a master tactician and strategist when it comes to combat. If Wrath has you tagged as a target, Primus only knows how you will make it out online. 

Diesel: Who said trains needed rails? This gas-powered locomotive sure doesn’t, and his enemies sure wish he did. That claw on his roof could even slice through the hull of Trypticon given the chance. If you hear a train but don’t see any tracks, run for cover if you can find it!
