First off, I think it's a manor instead of a mansion. Mansions are simply big houses located normally on neighbourhoods while manors are often times isolated, are bigger and have some land around them with maybe some other buildings in the property. There are three main floors, along with a basement and an attic. The first floor has a big ass entrance, a living room, kitchen, dinning room, nurse's office and storage, while the second one is almost exclusively for bedrooms, most of which have suites (but there is a community bathroom as well on all three main floors). The third floor has the proxy's bedrooms, Slenderman's room and a library. Every bedroom comes with a bed and a closet, but everything else the creeps have to either make or acquire in some way by themselves (Sally is an exception). Everyone works for and obeys Slenderman and in return receive clothes, food and a place to live. The only creep that doesn't live there is Jane. Here's some bedroom headcanons:

JEFF: A mess, lives in the second floor. The walls were shitly painted black by him and you can see several missing spots. There are some band and horror movie posters on the walls and you can barely see the floor because of the amount of clothes and trash scattered around. His blinds are always closed and they are that thick type that doesn't let any sunlight get through. Deadass lives like a vampire.

BEN: Another mess, also in the second floor. There are snacks and food wrappings all around the floor and several videogames posters on the wall, along with a pro gamer computer set complete with a LED keyboard, mouse and headset, also a big ass television. His walls are a yellowish green, also with some missing spots.

TOBY: Lives in the third floor, his walls are beige and his bed covers are a brownish orange flannel. Windows always open to let some fresh air in. It's filled with several trinkets he stole from his victims and actually looks kind of aesthetic pleasing if you ignore how unorganized it is, kinda like those indie bedrooms you see on Pinterest. Has a few house plants scattered around, like cactus and succulents, nothing too difficult to take care of (he doesn't have much of a green thumb).

EYELESS JACK: Lives in the basement, since he uses the freezers in there to store his food. Not very decorated, since he spends most of his time in the nurse's office, save from the blood (if you can call that decoration).

LAUGHING JACK: Lives in the attic. Has several kids toys he steals from his victims, all of which he DIY'd to be black and white like him. His old music box is on a prestigious self on top of his bed.

MASKY: Pretty organized, lives on the third floor. Mostly consists of brownish colors and tones. Has one of those clothes racks where he keeps his flannels and some old bands posters on the walls. Nothing too fancy. Makes his bed every morning.

HOODIE: Lives in the third floor. Kinda messy, but in a fancy way. Has several notebook pages torn off with song lyrics he writes sitting around, along with manuscript papers. His guitar is normally resting by his bed and is decorated with stickers. Masky makes fun of him for it, but he has fairy lights.

BLOODY PAINTER: Lives in the second floor, but has an exclusive art studio in the property outside of the manor that looks like a little shack. His walls are white, but covered in paint splashes, so they're very colorful, same thing with the floor. Has many canvases laying around, filled and empty, as well as acrylic paints and papers with random sketches and thumbnails.

X-VIRUS: Lives in the third floor. His walls are black and with several shelves, all with test tubes, flasks and beakers filled with strange and glowing chemicals inside of them. Has LED lights on the corners of the ceiling, always shining green. Has every lab equipment you could think of, from microscopes to bunsen burners and magnetic stirrers.

CLOCKWORK: Lives in the second floor. The most aesthetically pleasing room. Has tarot tapestry hanging from the walls and ceiling as well as those fake vines. Her walls are filled head to toe with drawings she makes herself, also those aesthetic posters with plants and butterflies and such. Speaking of, she has fake paper butterflies hanging on the ceiling. Uses monster cans as flower pots. Has a ukulele sitting in the corner that she gave up on learning how to play.

KATE THE CHASER: Left her room the way she found it, all white walls and a single closet and a bed with no covers. Barely ever steps inside of it. It's located on the third floor.

NINA THE KILLER: Lives in the second floor. Her room genuinely looks like some kind of early 2000's emo parade. Walls covered entirely in band posters (especially the main singers) and an unholy amount of plushies, mostly sanrio ones. Has a shelf only for her Monster High dolls.

SALLY: Second floor. Any little girl's dream bedroom. Fairy lights, pink walls, an insane amount of plushies and dolls as well as a dollhouse. Has some of her drawings pinned on the walls.

LANE: Third floor. Grey walls with some band and horror movies/series posters, especially Supernatural, along with some random sketches pinned. A lot of plants sitting around on the shelves, floor and windowsill. Windows always open. Their bed has black covers and a hand-saw fox plushie laying by the pillow.

“Are you sure this will work?” You ask nervously.

“I’m positive.” The High Lords reassuring gaze doesn’t do much to settle the nerves inside you as he places a hand on your shoulder and ushers you forward. You’re behind the velvet curtain atop the marble staircase in the grand ballroom, Tamlin to your side. The two of you have been looking for Lucien for over an hour now, not finding him anywhere. This was the last resort, but with your and his knowledge of the dress you were wearing, your royal highness had quite the clever idea.

While clever, it would involve putting you on display.

“Are you ready?” He asks. You shake your head.

“No, but we’ll do it anyway.” You say. He grins at you, and the curtain pulls back, revealing the two of you to the ballroom of High Fae below. You stare down into the sea of people, so many masks, dresses, suits and sparkling headpieces. There’s no way you’d be able to find Lucien from here. But he sure would be able to see you. If he was still in the ballroom, that is.

“Could I have your attention, everyone, please.” The room instantly quiets at the sound of the High Lord’s voice echoing throughout the vast space. He stares into the crowd, scanning from person to person.

“I had the honor this year of inviting a very special person to this event, and to my humble delight, she said yes,” he begins. You blush. Though it had been established you would remain only friends, whoever ended up with the High Lord would be one lucky lady.

“…This woman is my very talented, very intelligent friend, Y/N.” The room begins to clap, and you curtsy to them. He clears his throat. Oh boy, he isn’t done.

“Many of you asked about the decorations on your way in tonight — these were provided by Ms. Y/N, so you can thank her for those.” He slides his eyes to you and raises a brow, as if to say, are you ready? You take it as your cue, and step as close as you can to the balcony so the onlookers can see your dress in full.

“But other than florals, Y/N has come up with quite the creative attire tonight; no offense to anyone, but she outshines everyone here.” A mixture of laughter and murmurs linger through the crowd, jealous fae and those finding the High Lord funny or agreeable alike. You look back over your shoulder and Tamlin nods to you one last time.

“I’ll allow her to show you herself.”

That’s your cue.

You bunch the skirt of your dress in one hand, Tamlin appearing beside you to take your other. Holding your hand above your head, you begin spinning, hand held tight to the bit of stability he provided above you. The crowd begins to gasp and erupt in conversation as your dress fades from autumnal amber to fresh spring pink, the magic laced into it removing the original latin-style off shoulder balloon sleeves as well. You’re left in a strapless, glittering, fresh rosé gown, and the crowd below erupts in applause. Tamlin leans in.

“I told you it’d work.”

You laugh, a wide smile stretching across your face. He drops your hand, and you both bow to the crowd below once more.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let the dancing resume!” You take Tamlin’s elbow in your hand as he leads you down the grand staircase.

“Thank you,” you say once you get halfway down. There is already a crowd forming at the bottom, likely looking to converse with the High Lord. You’d let them; you had a Vanserra to find.

“Ohh, that was nothing. It made my night more interesting, at that.” He says with a smile. You pause just before the last few steps and turn to him.

“I mean it. Thank you.” He smiles as you reach for his golden mask and pull it from his face, revealing the handsome exterior beneath. You press a small kiss to his cheek, and he lets you go as you once again descend on the crowd to look for Lucien.

There was only a few dances left, and time was running out. Maybe Lucien left. He did say earlier he didn’t enjoy these things much, right? Or he found them boring? You couldn’t remember. That was unfortunate; maybe he didn’t even see your public display just for him, just to get his attention.

You’d talked with a few faeries in passing while trying to find Lucien, but no matter there you looked, you couldn’t find him anywhere. You were down to the last two songs of the night when you found Tamlin once more.

“You didn’t end up finding him, huh.” He says, sounding a bit dejected himself. You sigh, tossing your mask onto one of the marble stairs and looking down at the floor.

“No… no I didn’t.” You say. Tamlin sighs, and taps his foot.

“Well… there is only one song left after my announcement, and then after that everyone leaves,” he says, trying to sound hopeful. “Think of it this way; at least it’s almost over, and it wasn’t all bad was it? It was at least kind-of fun?” You offer him a sad smile.

“Yes. It was kind-of fun.” He pulls you in for a hug, and you fight to keep the tears from spilling over. All that practice, all those hours, all that work. All you wanted was for one dance with Lucien, just one! And he’s no where to be found. He probably hated you, he wouldn’t even talk to you earlier. You just might have missed your chance.

The song playing ends, and Tamlin releases you, winking before jogging up the stairs once more. Everyone peers up at him, and the room is almost silent.

“The traditional last dance of the masquerade is done by the High Lord and a partner to the Spring Waltz. Everyone is welcome to join, grab a partner and let’s begin one last time for the night shall we?” Applause and cheers ring out, and you almost don’t feel the hand on your shoulder until it taps you once. You spin around to come face-to-face with the copper mask of a fox. It doesn’t take long to see the eyes within, and the red hair flowing behind the wearer’s face. You gasp, and throw your arms around Lucien on instinct.

“Lucien!” You exclaim, your cry muffled in the fabric of his white collar. His hair tickles your forehead as you squeeze tight, his arms wrapping around your waist timidly. “Here you are, finally. I’ve been looking for you!”

“H-hey, uh, Y/N…” he pulls you off of him and your smile falls, replaced with the frustration you’d been feeling all night.

“Ohhh no. Do not even start with me,” You say. He removes his mask, and stares back at you with a raised eye brow.

“What are you talking about?”

“I’ve been looking for you all night!” You squeak. Your hands begin to shake. This is it, this is the moment. “I was trying to find you and I couldn’t, I thought you left and-“

“I didn’t see a point in staying.” He said flatly. You roll your eyes.

“Any why is that?”

“I saw you. Outside.” He says.

You shrug in confusion. “Alright? What do you mean?”

“With. Tamlin.” He says, tone clipped. Your face softens when you realize what he is referring to.

“Oh… oh no that,” you laugh. A muscle twitches in his jaw.

“What is so funny? You kissed him. You quite literally kissed him.” He says, face tight with anger. You smile sweetly at him, happy to know what you feel is reciprocated.

“And… you’re unhappy about it?” You press. He crosses his arms and huffs.

“Are you kidding? Of course I’m unhappy. Why would I like to see the woman I’ve been trying to convince myself I don’t have feelings for, for MONTHS, mind you,” he takes a breath. “…kissing my best friend?”

You only offer him a smile. “That’s why you ordered all those flowers?” He gives you an incredulous look.

“Yeah! I ordered the damn flowers, ok? I wanted to see you - wait, how did you know about that?” His brows knit together. You giggle, and place a hand on his jaw, brushing over it gently.

“Tamlin told me all about it, after we figured out we’re just friends. Only, friends.” You clarify. His face softens, hope filling his eyes. A small smile creeps onto his face, as one of his hands finds your waist. You let out a small gasp as his gaze meets yours.

“You still owe me a favor.” You don’t roll your eyes this time.

“Mhm…” You nod. “What do you want?” He takes your other hand in his, the fit perfect.

“Dance with me.”

Your heart leaps as he guides you to the very middle of the room, the song only just beginning. The other fae seem to part like the sea, leaving the floor open for you. Lucien’s grip on your waist is firm, and heat flushes your cheeks. Subconsciously, you’ve been dreaming of a moment like this. A moment so perfect, you feel like a queen in a royal dress, dancing with your prince. His other hand clasps yours, bent at the elbow, and he begins moving. You almost begin to worry, you hadn’t danced with him before and you didn’t want to mess anything up. It was, after all, the last dance of the evening.

“Follow my lead,” he says quietly. You smile up at him, finding his stare already upon you. He guides you back and forth, the intricate combination of footwork flowing so easily between the two of you. As the melody ramps up, he dips you low, twirls you around, and holds you close to him. Neither of you notice the dance floor clearing, making way for the two of you who are far more intriguing to watch than any other pairs who were dancing along before. Tamlin watches in satisfaction from the top of the staircase above.

You break eye contact for just a moment, and catch the sight of almost every High Fae staring back at you. You’re instantly insecure; it wasn’t meant to be like this, and you felt bad for embarrassing Lucien by putting him out here on the spot with a lesser faerie this way.

“Lucien,” you whisper. He grins at you, sweeping you to the left. “I think everyone’s staring at you.” You say. He chuckles, letting go of your hand to place both hands on your waist now. You try to keep your breathing steady.

“Trust me,” he says, leaning impossibly close and dipping you low once more toward the ground. His lips almost touch yours as excited whispers emit from the crowd around you. “…they’re all looking at you.”

You continue the waltz, finishing with a curtsy and an uproar of cheering around you. Tamlin announced the end of the ball, and everyone begins to file out of the ballroom, milling about and continuing conversations about the night while seeing themselves on their way.

Lucien’s hand finds the small of your back, and it feels like electricity shoots through you from where his skin meets the fabric of your dress. “Mind if I see to it that you make it to your carriage safely?” You smirk at him.

“What happened to the sassy, arrogant male I met just a few months ago?” He scoffs, pulling you into him and beginning the walk to the front of the estate. It isn’t until you’re halfway down the front staircase that he stops, ending up one step lower than you. He turns and takes both of your hands in his, thumbs slowly rubbing circles into the backs of your palms.

“It seems we’ve been here before,” you begin.

“I think last time, you threw petunias at me.” He says, and you laugh.

“Peonies!” You correct, simmering to a giggle. He smiles, an open mouth smile that you have grown to love. The circles on your hands stop, and his smile grows into something else. Something more as he pulls you closer to him, hands now playing with the seams on your dress and running up and down your sides.

“You have the most beautiful laugh I’ve ever heard Y/N.” He says. You feel as through air is between each of your bones; you’re weightless, you’re on a cloud. He looks you up and down, slowly dragging his eyes from the bottom of your skirts to where he meets your eyes again, and finally settling on your lips. “I didnt mind being your fake date to the ball, but…” he laughs nervously. “I think we could be something more. If that’s what you want, anyway.”

You have to fight the urge to cling to him and kiss him all night long.

Instead, you place a hand on his jawline, your thumb running across his bottom lip. His eyes widen, then grow dark with need. The tangly feeling in your stomach feels like wet noodles being pulled from boiling water, and being straightened out one by one. Finally, it’s all becoming clear.

Cauldron, please just kiss me Y/N.

You swear you can hear his voice in your head. Playing along, you try answering it.

It’s all I want to do. It’s all I’ve wanted for months from you, Lucien.

His eyes grow wide. “Are you serious?” He asks. You drop your hand, but his don’t leave your sides.

“You… you can hear me?” You ask.

“In my head yes, like you’re speaking aloud.” He answers. Just like that, you both feel everything making sense all at once. Those twisty, weird feelings aren’t so twisty anymore. They’re clear, defined, and no longer leaving you feeling unsettled.

As soon as the bond snaps into place, Lucien looks so happy he could cry. A tear actually falls freely down your cheek, a happy laugh escaping your lips. Lucien takes the opportunity to pull you close and crash his lips onto yours. The short scruff tickles your soft skin, and you tangle your hands in his hair. His hands pull you to him, settling on your lower back and stroking up and down as his lips move against yours. He tastes like cinnamon and vanilla; you can’t get enough of it. The feeling inside you — the bond — only growing more taught with each passing moment you are connected with one another. Finally breaking the kiss, Lucien pulls back to rest his forehead against yours, and you jump as a soft crackling sounds overhead.

Beams of light steam through the sky, firework after firework exploding in an array of colors for everyone to see. Lucien pulls you close to his chest, kissing the top of your head as you watch the wondrous pops of color overhead. His arms wrap around your waist as he stands behind you, and you watch until the last one sprays across the night sky. The masquerade attendees clap, and you join in too. Many of the fae take that as a final que to leave, and you do the same.

“I suppose I’ll be coming around the estate more often to see my mate?” You ask, the last word so foreign on your tongue. Foreign, but pleasant. Comforting. Lucien plants another kiss on your lips, spinning you around and cupping your face in his hands.

“You can do anything and everything you please; I’m all yours.”

This court concept was so interesting and oh the art omg. There were so many beautiful shots here! Like the colors, composition and everything...the animators nailed this!

I didn't expect this design for him tbh but it's still quite good! Love the deeeeep voice too.

Vassago surprised me the most tbh I didn't expect his voice nor his really high boots but still great, love his cape love his design and the whole star concept.

Unexpected but cool duo! Their court design is really pretty too. I wonder if anyone with an important status has to wear these formal outfits.

The song was good too! Stola's voice actor has a surprisingly large range. I was surprised when he started singing so high but it was really well done. I didn't expect Blitz to sing too, but man, how he sounded soo good with Stolas.

Stomas looked so. Fucking. Good. During that sequence of the song. The red suits him so much.

I love how he acts here! Ynow huuh him acting like a prince for once to be more convincing

The colors are so good. The golden feathers and starry night...The animators truly outdid themselves this time!

That shot of Stolas is so. Astonishingly pretty. Love the reddish pink, love the black.

Sorry just had to say he looks very cute here. I missed his silly hat. That design on the collar sure is interesting too.

I was happy to see Blitz being kinda awkward (idk if it was intentional) when he tried to help Stolas at fist. Like during the bath scene or when he led him to his house.

Overall I think this episode was really good! It's probably just me but I had a few problems with the pacing, like everything happened a little bit too fast/ too much stuff in a little time. Like the whole start was a bit messy,the really short sequence with Octavia and Stella felt a bit rushed... Some passages were a tad bit cliche/idk how to say it but a bit childish? Like when Stolas said he would express himself through song and some other scenes. I don't mind it too much tho, it kinda fits helluva boss anyway. Blitz beeing happy seeing imps celebrating their "victory" is nice, but I felt like it was just breaking the mood a little? I mean it is totally understandable I just felt like the way it was implemented was a bit out of place. There's also a small plothole (maybe it was me forgetting something) but there was this sequence where the sins where singing along against Stolas, like even Bee and Asmodeus? That was kinda weird as I thought they would've been on his side. Especially for Asmodeus since he already knew about Stola's case before and he himself is with an imp? Revelation wich was by the way completely ignored?

But in any case this episode was still amazing (art played a big part in this! I absolutely adored the constant switches in palettes and the different shots were very detailed and beautifully animated!)

My Ace Experiences

It's been one day since I officially came out as ace to myself. ONE DAY!! But oh my god, everything is just so much clearer and makes so much sense now??? So I want to share all the little things I can recall that are very obviously ace in my life before I realize I'm ace, because I think it's fun and can be helpful to whoever is looking for clues and similarities!!

I put the label of bisexuality on myself when I was around 18. Because I like girls and boys on the same level. I think they look so nice in this dress or that suit. And the human body is a wonder. I am obsessed with naked bodies, just like all those marble sculptures from the Renaissance. Yes. Exactly like that.

I've had sexual dreams before. A few times, actually. They were about me, in the action... and they did nothing for me physically. And I feel grossed out after waking up.

On the other hand, there WERE other dreams that did trigger a physical reaction (and honestly, I do love how it feels when you wake up to that particular feeling), but said dreams all had nothing to do with sex.

At 22, I learned that people actually feel an urge toward strangers they see that excites them. Someone online described it as the urge to pet a cute dog. I felt baffled because REALLY????? Omg. Mind blown.

I always thought the love songs were exaggerations. For example. "I'm in love with the shape of you/I'm in love with your body" really does not make sense to me.

I hate it when movies do that "cue romantic music, cue two people that met three days ago started getting close and started kissing" thing. Kissing doesn't gross me out, but that seems like the fakest thing I've ever seen. There's no way that's real. Right? ...What do you mean that's real? WHAT DO YOU MEAN????

I still want sex and romance, but never in my life I've imagined myself to get with any other real-life people around me. Nor any celebrities. Or really hot fictional characters.

I have fantasies, but half of the time, it's about fictional characters that don't involve me. the other half about fictional characters and scenarios I made up in my head meant to please myself.

I love reading smutty fanfics. I LOVE THEM. I've seen the 18+ videos before (not anymore, but I did go through a phase a few years back). Sex jokes are hilarious when they're not insulting. Suggesting arts are so fun to admire and so hot to look at.

I like getting creative in my... alone time. I enjoy those times as well and plan to keep enjoying them. I think of doing things I like with other people, but I'm more focused on the physical sensation than the person. In other words, I feel like I can do it with anyone who makes me feel safe and secure enough because the act is more of the thing I want than the people.

I am super into art, and things that are pretty, and I remember one time looking at a very well-designed web page layout and thinking to myself, I'm so turned on right now.

I am more turned on by the curve on a girl's waist than boobs or ass, if "turned on" means I want to grab that pretty waist at the curve and squeeze a little... and that's about it

RAMBLING ABOUT NAMES: I actually made alternate names for all the Boscage variants because I sort of can't stand most of them (except Thorn Rose; great name). I call Mangey Bramble because his fur is kind of spiky and he can match Thorn in being named after a prickly plant. I thought it was cute, especially in the context of their bond in my au. :3 But... Irl, I just. Am always referring to Mangey as "my sweet little mango," so that's the name that stuck for him. xD Nine even called him that once, I think (in Kaleidoscope). It's still very cute, so I ain't mad!

Nue is pronounced like you're starting to say "nueve" (nine in Spanish). So it's like: noo-ay. Which is weird and I don't even know how you'd spell it to get the pronunciation across. Not that it matters because it's just my nickname for him, but.

Tails is just Tails because he's the closest to canon variant and. Weirdly, the most boring of them all, imo. So he gets to be boring with the OG name. fsdjksd

By favorite boy Someplace-Sails got the name Jingle while I was listening to the Django theme, which reminds me of him A Lot. I was like "What would be a good OC name for Sails... Django... Jingle? Omg, that's cute! Because he loves music! :3" Later I remembered the freaking chill af wanderer musician hamster from Hamtaro is named Jingle and I exploded with glee. It's perfect. And I can contain it no longer- one of sP-Kit's special interests is Hamtaro. Do you see? Do you seeeeee? 8D

Folklore Tails is such a soft-hearted, sweet little guy- and he's literally just POOFY and ROUND. I call him all sorts of things- Softy, Softheart, Cloud, Puff, Poof, Fluffy, Scruffy. He's just my sweet little guy. <3

Sunny seems pretty dang self-explanatory, but I'm going to explain it anyway. 1) Look at him. 2) When I was designing him, I kept listening to Sunshine in the Rain over and over and over for some reason. (I call his version of Kit "Rain" because of his, jejejeje). 3) That's actually it, I just wanted to mention that song. 83

Scrungy is also self-explanatory: look at him. I literally just named Moon because he was sad looking and below Sunny. Stales was a mouth-typo (can't remember if I was trying to say Sails or Tails). So I made a zombie. He is expired. Urchin seemed cute, idk. Punk is a punk (alt name: MULLET). Silas, Manny, and Nine are just their names from the story they're in. Nine's alt name is Girl because that's my favorite video game personality for a character /stupid

RAMBLING ABOUT COLORS/DESIGNS: I am so happy I made Folklore Tails dark brown because now I can finally stop fussing about whether or not I want Kal-Nine to be really dark or really pale. I love brown Tails and wanted to have at least one, so yeah (it suits my PUFFBALL so well, too <333). Anyway, I'm happy to make Nine pale because he's literally a basement dweller and that's funny as hell to me. As a lifelong basement dwelller myself, I love that for him. fdjkgldfg Although, I'm still fussing with him a BIT because... I mean, that is reaaaaally daggum pale. I might make him a tad more yellow like in this pic. I thought that color palette was pretty solid, too. I also have two other Nine variants to play around with now! I tried out the Tailszilla-inspired palette on Punk and I think he looks pretty cool? I dig the dark metal tails.

I had different ideas for Sunny's colors, but I think I should just stop while I'm ahead. It's a cute palette and he looks cheery as hell. Also, he's the only yellow-yellow boy of the bunch, so. Gosh, I adore him. He's so ridiculous. He's like, as close as Tails can be to a himbo while still being Tails. Precious smart-dumb fox. <333

Moon looked just like an adult canon Tails, so I thought I might give him a more unique design. I've been getting more dramatic with my redesigns, so there's a lot of potential to have fun incorporating his story's themes of loneliness into it. Also, he's like, essentially Knuckles in his au, so the moon motif actually fits really well. Still a major WIP and I'm not really thinking about that au much at all, so it's way on the backburner.

I'm STILL fussing with sp-Sails' colors ever so slightly. 8| Mostly because he's got sooo many browns (in his clothes, and now his ear, too!). My brain gets confused trying to make all these blocks of browns look pleasing next to each other. But that's more his clothing's fault. I circumvented this issue with Silas because he's more well off, so I got a bit more fancy with his threads. Eh, idk.

Speaking of Silas, I started worrying about him and his siblings' fur colors being so freakishly different. I almost made Manny more brown, but then I was like... Heck with it. They're minor chars and it's just for fun. I at least made their ears somewhat match-y, so that's good enough for me.

I'm also waffling on CaveTails' design. I thought I had the colors down, but now they kinda look ugly to me? Maybe because the "whites" are too pink? I dunnnoooo. @_@ I sorta don't like his eye color either, but everything I try looks unsuitable. I like his markings and body shape (when I manage to draw it correctly), at least. But he just looks super ugly in general in this drawing and idk what it is. Forehead too small? Just doesn't translate to chibi? Blaaahhhh!

here is a list of what was in this show, and in what ways they updated/changed the pieces of music they played, and what they never played before. with a dash of commentery:

i am the doctor is the first track, neat, they did the Proms version, which combines the Pandorica speach theme right at the end

all the strange strange creatures, which yeah another Proms staple, it had a few touches of fresh violins in the end we did not hear before

they did a suite for the entire classic who themes they did play that night, apperently the two people behaind the rediophonic workshop were there to play it as well! that's neat, the 60s cyberman theme, (i love it dearly, got obsessed with it pretey recently lol), they also did some stuff that i would not know to recognize if there is anything new about them: the sea devils theme, the city of death, and the 5 doctors! the same classic who themes they played i the proms 2013, either way they sound very nice, the orchestra really nicely blends in with the syntonizer and it feels like a loving hug.

oooh and they have a mini interview with mark and peter from the radiophonic workshop!

Abigail's Song (Silence Is All You Know) is very neat as well, no changes but its very nice. and they dedicated the piece to Michael Gambon, that's sweet

omg Steven Moffet hello, i did not remember seeing him on the cast list. they are using the season 4 intro as like an in between piece to welcome guests on stage by the way, his interview in nice but short, mostly talking in short about his time as a show runner and the diffrence between Matt and Peter.

This is Galiffray is next, pretty standard but again beutifully played

the long song is next, no child singer, the same singer as Abagail's song as well, but gosh!! they included in it the part of the theme of this song that played when 11 regenerated?? and the new singing then payerd over it. it is the same theme part that played when the actual speech of the long song played, in front of the living planet, but without the speech itself it really takes you back to his regeneration in my option, they then layerd the singing part over it in a very nice harmony that made me tear up 😭 . once again just like they did in the proms 2013, but this version feels very updated

the companions suite, they went Rose - Amy, which sad no clara, bill or any other companion, but its nice to hear those themes again, also Martha's theme got a little bit more Wind Instruments and violins then usual! which extended it a little and that was very nice. it also felt like Donna's theme was a little bit quieter then usual, they also combined Amy's theme little starting notes to fuze organicly into the theme itself, the xylophone very imbeded into the theme instead of it standing out like in earlier performances. and gave it a little bit of extra notes right at the end.

Emily Cook interview! she apperently played in the orcestra in the show as well with the saxophone. and talking about the doctor who lockdown project! (i cannot believe i never knew about this thing's existance??? holy shit,)

Doomsday, had a fancy and really funky gaiter solo, much similer to when it was preformed at the proms in 2008, but this time its very distinctive, not playing along singing at all, just pure gaiter goodness, really enjoyable

Vale Decem was really funky! nothing new but as bombastic as ever, screaming its way to your ears

Am i a good man!! very nice to see a Peter theme finally making its way to the fold, though a lot of them were preformed at Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular 2015, it was a much smaller scale as to the proms and this show is definitly bigger, god i used to be so obsessed with this themeee its not even funny, the version is very similer to there and you can reallly feel the drums punping at the start and its really energetic

omg twice upon a time?? damm, actual music released from something past season 9??? insane about this actually, oh i have never heard this before, its so gentle and remenicit of am i a good man in such a beautiful way, giving them theme a call back with emotinal and more action based end, it also adds the known and notable singer and some stuff from rtd era doctor theme?? and some funky violins from i am the doctor?? all leading to a fine finish?? i am in shock and aw. its like a finishing theme from Marry Gold to his era of the show. damm (if you are worried about The Shepherd's Boy, that will come later!)

a chris chibnall and Segun Akinola interview! Chris talking about the scrutiny he got for his era, and excitment about the whole thing, and Segun Akinola talking about the stress of the job and the freedom he got. THEY ARE ALL SO EXCITED FOR THE FACT THAT HIS THEMES FOR DOCTOR WHO ARE FOR THE FIRST TIME BEING PREFORMED AND I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT AS WELL HOLY SHIT

FINALLY the woman who fell to earth suite! confirmed to have: the woman who fell to earth, spyfall, power of the doctor, and a few suprises?? 👀 god i am once again becoming emotinal, i love 13's theme so much. the spyfall theme is so recognizable for its bond influence and so fun!! 13 era loves will know a lot more then me on the rest of it but god its so fun. DEMONS OF THE PUNJAB!! TRADITINAL INDIAN MUSIC WITH A FANTASTIC SINGER, god i wish we could watch this visualy. 13s regeneration theme is so GOOD IM CRYING, what can i even say, they didn't have the libraty of changes as this was the first and might be the only preformance of these themes, as little changes as possible for what i've noticed, but still, what a rollercoster of emotions

The Life of Sunday (Ruby's Theme) ...oh? piano? a lone and qiuet piano? a quiet and sad sounding theme? oh it expands! omg the slowely building violins?? the violins are truly the stars of this evening, and then the hopeful theme ends and now the violins are not celebrating the piano, they are moving towards a sad but nice main part. oh we are jumping forwad a little! oh wow, this is truly like a valce. the piano is the star but to what end? its slightly hopeful but very mournful existance

a lot of the versions had a little bit of a rytham change in most of the peices, little bits where you would think "oh is it out of rythem?" but no, its just a slight change in tempo, i guess to make the versions played here to stand out a little.

Fifteen, WHAT THE HELL THIS IS STARTING LIKE A SUPERHERO THEME?? oooh we are leading to an action based middle, the bassons are controling the theme! the trumpets!! its bloody danceable!! i am stimming all over the room! its fucking danceable!! it feels very action based very much like i am the doctor, a lot of rising violins, usually singeling hope, this feels like... such a fresh and new doctor. but it doesn;t sound... excited, it feels like a man on the run, it has a very clear dessperation going in, and i am neglecting to find any quiet moment if and they exist at all. the rising of the hope comes very sparadicly, much like Ruby's . it feels like they are contredicting each other simply by nature, but both of them are constantly searching for hope and i guess happines? accept he feels like he is searching for... quiet, peace, DAMM i gotta relisten to this to get more understanding of it

The Shepherd's Boy!!! FIRST TIME PREFORMING. god i am emotional once again, you can clearly hear the diffrent instruments individually at the start, the violins are lovely the chelos and everything else is really beautifully building up itself, the drums. the choir! all rising! they added the chior to the part right before the end!! added chior overoll andmakin it much more stand out as opposed to the soundtrack version. the drums were eceptinal!! in all of peter's era music. god its great

Doctor Who Theme (2023 version), lets go! the pianos! the quiet violins!! people have pointed out its similer to the movie middle eight and that's very true, the piano is truly the star of this theme and it shows!(edited) i am buzzing this was as great and better then i expected

Ongoing Series - Thai

Laws of Attraction (Sat iQIYI) 4 of 8 - Omg the way the bodyguard (handler?) looks at the rich kid. Gah. I see why @heretherebedork​ loves these 2. But I really hate him (not the handler, the kid). Fun fight scene. I love lawyer babygirl SO MUCH. HE WILL BE MY 2023 FAV CHARACTER. I’M CALLING IT. This ep, Srs? You’re killing me. Suits! Pussycat bows! And then... The Public Claiming!!!!! One of my favorite tropes! And openly flirting? Boys. I’m getting spoiled. Wait… is that…? NO SINGING. Ah well, Thai BL giveth and Thai BL taketh away. 

Hidden Agenda that isn’t hidden (Sun GMMTV YouTube) ep 4 of 10 - I like the script for this. It feels like the conversations they have are very honest to a uni experience. It’s comfortable and breezy. I did not expect the kiss. Bit early in the arc. There is either going to be a lot of backend drama, or a long domestic honeymoon period. (Bet you can guess which one I vote for.) 

Low Frequency (Sat iQIYI) ep 5 of 8 - It’s moving along in a Ghost Host kinda way (minus the killer chemistry). I’m not mad about it, I don’t think I'll remember it tho. 

Be Mine Super Star (Mon Viki) ep 5 of 12 - My ambivalent relationship with this drama continues. Cohabitation trope. Punn is basically a huge puppy trying to spoil/cuddle/fuck his pretty kitty prince. It is what it is. Meanwhile, I just want more of Big Daddy & the Hot Doc. (Also the name of my burlesque show.) Why does Kevin have more chemistry with Ashi in a 1 min long scene than Punn has had… ever? Is this nascent bad boy effect or nascent 2nd lead syndrome I’m feeling? (Meanwhile Ben! Hi! Long time no see!)

Wedding Plan (Weds YT & iQIYI) ep 3 of 7 - I have decided that Lom’s theme song is BigBang’s Monster. Listen. You’ll see what I mean. Also BigBang = also very problematic but banging. What I’m saying is, I wanna punch Lom so bad, I went slightly bonkers. Water sports are addressed. A trash watch is happening!

Jun & Jun (Korea Thurs Viki) 3 of 8 - How DARE they make me love this show so much? I feel personally attacked. The smell thing! Gah. The way they automatically go informal in private. The flirting. The language. The suits, the EVERYTHING. It’s embarrassing how much I rewatch the final bits of each ep. 

Stay By My Side (Taiwan Fri Gaga) 6 of 10 eps - I adore this ridiculous show. (I just realized that the actor playing Jiang Chi played Ray’s evil 2-timing bf in About Youth). Baby boy is quite clueless. Sweet dreams tho. I love them both so much. The washing his jersey scene was so fucking cute. Couple’s numbers, couple’s keychains, bridal towel, kisses. Thank you Taiwan for NOT activating blushing maiden. However, confident gay/confused bisexual is a go. And we got us some justifiable angst. Sigh. I’m so happy. 

Sing My Crush AKA Follow The Wind (Korea Weds iQIYI) 1-2 of 8 eps - supposed to have released in the first half of 2022 this is a adaption of Myung’s webtoon, from the director of My Sweet Dear, and Love Tractor’s production house, basically Korea does About Youth. It’s sweet (the singing bits are easy to skip) and very much a story of young first love but less stiff than KBL’s usual high school fare (kinda Taiwan feeling). I like it but that very imprecision in production makes me concerned for an HEA, especially with such a low MDL rating. 

Tokyo in April is... AKA Shigatsu no Tokyo wa (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 8fin  - Rough final episode, but it does end happily. Fortunately, I had some warning for my personal triggers, but this is Japan and they did go dark. Full review below. 

Minato's Laundromat Season 2 AKA Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2 (Japan Thu Gaga) 5 of 12 eps - Shin is so cute and proud and boldly out. I love him. Movement in the relationship with both couples, even if it’s movement into arguments and misunderstanding. I suppose we got 12 eps they need to do... something.  

Stay Still (Hong Kong Tues YouTube) 1 of 5 eps - It’s confusing. And… not good? Some flashbacks some present day?

Review: Tokyo in April is... AKA Shigatsu no Tokyo wa

I had to chew on this for a while but here’s where I ended up. 

Two young men with a shared tragic past reunite and fall in love all over again, but the past will not stop hunting them. Based on a manga, this office set reunion romance is GREAT… damn it. It’s Japan in full on soft focus which means it gets emo, abusive, and chewy. These two characters are giving parts of their souls away in a desperate attempt to shape themselves to the expectations they have of each other. 

Japan gave us the Bed Friends that Thailand could never even imagine. But here’s the thing: I don’t enjoy my BL this heavy and cutting. I know that for The 8th Sense crowd this is peak BL and I can’t argue with the fact that the romantic devotion, domesticity, script, and acting IS all on point. It’s just not my personal preference for that point to be so damn sharp. I appreciate that this being 2023 I have the luxury of consistent quality (especially from Japan) and thus the ability to say… 

I acknowledge that this SHOULD get a 9/10 but I can’t emotionally go higher than 8/10 

RECOMMENDED BUT KNOW WHAT KIND OF BL THIS IS AND TRIGGER WARNINGS LIKE CRAZY 

Japan = sticking to its lanes like their BL is on rails.

8/22 Kisseki: Dear to Me formerly known as Miracle (Taiwan Tues ????) 13 eps - From screenwriter Lin Pei Yu (We Best Love, H3: Trapped) features a student doctor forced to take care of a gangster. I love the premise and like the writer, Viki or Gaga will get this one.  

8/24 Man Suang (Thailand movie, domestic cinema release) - historical drama about Thai burlesque with KP’s MileApo. Tong is in this one too?

8/? Why R U? (Korean remake) is supposed to be out this month, filming started in sept 22. I find everything about this hilarious. I mean if Korea remakes it, we lose all the sexy and then... would we have a story at all? No we would not. Not even for six short eps. It’d be like one of those mesh shopping bags.

Oh yeah, Only Friends is coming.

hi!:3While writing the fanfic is going at its slow pace, I'm listening to music.I think that "The red means I love you- Madds Buckley" is suitable for Dbubs! In relation to Patho.And for example, "A match into the Water- Pierce The Veil (CARE THIS IS HEAVY METAL-)" is suitable for my favorite Bravo/Timmy. Well, it's most likely sung from Bravo's perspective.Well, for tango (and Jimmy) I have a separate folder of songs -Going Under-Evanescence. I generally think that this would be the favorite group of the original tango in my headcanons, I got this conclusion after seeing one mem with the original Tango with the song "Bring me to life" that I grew up on. A couple of songs from this group or the group Skillet ( my childhood) also suit him.Well, of course I still have songs with them in my native language, but since they are in Russian I don't know if you will be interested. But I am always happy to show them)

omg that dbubs song is SO fun and swanky!! got that feral bloodlust of the jungle’s hunger taking over, i like it a lot. and OOOO good ol evanescence, i hadn’t heard that one before and the lyrics are very fitting! particularly w the scene in part 11 of tango in the farm. thanks so much for sharing!
