Hey I just realized something

So at the beginning of the show, they’re 14. First year of high school.

(We know this because A they said it was marinettes 14th birthday in the befana episode, and B because Mari was 13 in the dark humor flashback)

We know a year passes canonically in the show because in the New York special they say it’s summer. (although a few episodes into s5 they say Adrien has been there for 9 months?? One school year??)

so THEN we know another year has passed, since in s5 the school year ends.

but then it suggests the characters are going off to college, or high school, or… something? The teachers are having the students choose their careers so they can choose the right school- but is said school college? People choose their own college?? So then high school maybe- but I highly doubt they’re in middle school for the show-

am I missing something? Is the French school system different or is this just mlb messing with us

I love the college of winterhold. everyone there is casually deranged and there's like an alarming number of students and staff who threaten you immediately when they meet you. it's always one of the first questlines I do. which makes it even funnier when you get made the arch-mage of the college. I'm level 12 and got through this questline knowing exactly 3 spells. what do you mean you want me to lead the college. this school CANNOT be an accredited institution
