#em draws stuff #h5 #henry v 1989 #<- is it even at this point. what the scallop.#le roy d'armes des françois (dit montjoye)#em is posting about temeraire #temeraire worldbuilding collection #my tag-organizing conventions are now working against me. so it goes.#BUT more importantly MY IMAGE. look at them.#settled on a design for honoré that I like better - the shallower profile and wider snoot is a good look on him #he's not a canonical temverse dragon breed but rather one of the line ancestors that will produce the pascal's blue in a couple centuries #as this is set in the early 15th century of temverse I thought it'd be fun to incorporate the changing Varieties of dragons down the years #a few sorts that are still around by the time we get to the 19th century and some that have changed or petered out with time #this is a wildly self-indulgent image... it's very much easier posting something like this when it can kind of go into a Larger Void #but when it comes to this movie and this character well there is not really a larger void to slide such an image into... oh whale!#anyway. look I actually drew a whole dragon and a whole streambed in the same picture. wait that's a fun and cute idea. just before guzbug's first anniversary in-universe, we acquire land rights to Old Chateau and spend multiple days working on fixing it up and end up forgetting - ACTUALLY NO, we don't forget. I probably would just be quiet about it IF i remembered bc I don't know if he rly Wants to celebrate it at all and idk how to ask (<- this communication difficulty will be worked on), and then Guz remembers bc he made a point to set himself like five million reminders and also enlisted Plumeria to message him again the day of just in case he somehow still forgot, and then he has like... just a little gift planned. maybe the bracelet or smth. and at the end of the day when we're both tired from working and decide to call it quits for the day then he finally looks over at me and is like happy anniversary :) and gives me the bracelet or smth,,,,, and it's just a nice quiet little moment where we're sitting in the middle of a cleared area amongst all the mess and looking around at what we've accomplished so far and everything feels kind of Right and Good in that moment. making a home together !! building a life to spend with each other !!

finally finished rewriting scene 3. it was so hard for me to get through ;-; it’s the first scene after Carlos and Paz meet so I was really stressing over their interactions

I’m so relieved to be done with it though. the rest of draft 2 better watch out !!! >:]

#a lot of the scene in general has changed so overall it was very tricky #a lot of working from scratch compared to the first two scenes #struggled with staying focused the whole time too rip #but yayyy it’s done!! I hope it’s good. idk. that’s future me’s problem now lol #mdr #seriously hope my struggle with this scene isn’t an omen for how the rest of draft 2 will go..#like the first 2 scenes were so easy but then 3 came and had me dreading the rewrite for nearly a week!! before I actually started it #oh whale #I don’t think the next one should be too bad #stay tuned! lol

#wow my camera is so bad OH well!#but it was suchh a good day today YAYY this is definitely the best art event ive ever attended (only ever been to 4)#it was actually spacious and not overcrowded and no long queues and could easily get there w public transport #and there were SOOOO many artists it was so nice... i spent so much money 💸#ack i forgot to include my karen pin and a dice bag i got for my brother in this. oh well #karen pin isnt even from this i went to klcc for that LOL #but yayyy i had such a great day 🥰 wore such a pretty black dress w a grey cardigan + grey shoes and a stranger dressed the same as me #came up to me and pointed it out and we yassed out LOL #i wished i lived in the city so i could do this more 💭💭💭 now its time to save up for comic fiesta 😤
