I'm super busy these days, but as it's Thirteen's birthday and she's already very overlooked in canon, I wanted to make sure everybody at least knows/remembers this fact:

You can see Thirteen in the Nightbringer opening! She has a very blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo.

During there scene where Diavolo and Barbatos are standing in the castle, before it zooms in on their faces, you can see Mephisto walking down the stairs to their left. But! There's also a figure at the top of the stairs to their upper right!

Lucifer: Something like that, yes. That was around when we had to seal the gates from the Devildom to the human world because of a certain cretin.

Mammon: Hey!

MC, interrupting before it becomes a fight: So, maybe we should go soon? Not today though, it's going to rain later.

Satan: How did you check the forecast? We don't have access to human weather apps in the Devildom.

MC: Oh, I didn't. I can smell the rain.

Beel: I don't smell anything?

Levi: How can you smell the weather? You have secret anime-style powers? And you didn't tell me??

MC: What, no. I'm from the countryside, remember? I grew up with old people who still use traditional weather predictions, like how many stars are inside the ring around the moon tells how many days it'll be before the next storm. And I can smell the rain before it falls.

Levi: So you do have anime style powers. You just learned them from your elders, like a shonen protagonist!

MC: ...

MC: You know what sure let's go with that

I've talked about this at length on Twitter, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet:

OBEY ME IS NOT ENDING!

I've seen a lot of people panicking and a lot of people doomposting about the games being shut down, about how Solmare is abandoning the franchise, etc.

THIS IS NOT WHAT'S HAPPENING.

- From Solmare's announcement a couple of days ago.

The main story in Nightbringer is being wrapped up, but that's it. The games are not being shut down. The games are not going anywhere. You can still play the original Obey Me! and Nightbringer as much as you want. The main story will simply be finished at Lesson 60.

The franchise itself is not ending, either. Solmare has made multiple statements about this and has made it very clear that Obey Me! the series itself will continue. And the voice actors have confirmed this as well!

In addition to both games remaining, there are multiple new Obey Me! projects coming next year!

According to Solmare, the next era of Obey Me! will include new content, live in-person events, new merch, collaborations, and more that will be announced in 2025.

Believe me, I completely understand the disappointment that comes with this news. I'm deeply saddened and disheartened to know that the main story will be wrapping up so soon. I had been following Obey Me! since before the first game even came out (ever since the promotional trailer was shown at AX in 2019) and I've been a daily player of both games since Day 1. It's absolutely valid and expected for people to be upset.

However, I do think that we need to stop spreading misinformation. There have been a LOT of posts on both here and Twitter by people claiming that the series is over and that the games are being shut down. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Not only have I seen far too many people repeating these false claims, I've seen far too many people believing them at face value. I have seen too many people saying that now they're going to delete the games from their phone and leave the fandom, and I've seen fic writers and artists say that they're going to start deleting their works "because it's over now so why bother"

PLEASE DON'T. Obey Me is not ending! The games aren't being shut down! The series is still continuing with new content coming next year!

Repeating this misinformation isn't just damaging for the people who believe it, but if you're pushing players away from the fandom/series because they believe it's been shut down, then that's going to harm Obey Me! as well. We will only continue to get more new content and new OM projects if the series is successful, and alienating fans won't help anybody.

There's been a lot of anxiety and doomerism these past couple days. And while I totally understand feeling disappointed, PLEASE do not make false claims or spread misinformation. The games are not going anywhere and you can still play both of them as much as you want. The Obey Me! series is continuing with multiple new projects next year!

I know Solmare has a habit of doing this but I’m still shocked it’s happening so soon. I feel utterly devastated and angry. There were so many times they could have listened to players’ feedback and they chose not to.

I can only hope that they’ll release a new game that’s more romance oriented with paths. I won’t hold my breath though.

Obey Me! & the story of the Devildom ends, or rather we stop getting a consistent peak into their lives, the brothers, MC, Diavolo & others continue living their lives as they have

But we're not done,

In Solmare's new game we follow a new MC as they meet the Seven Virtues and Michael in the Celestial Realm

New MC's general personality should be the complete opposite of the Brothers' MC

Someone who starts off loud & brash & kind of like an asshole but is actually very insecure & scared and as we learn more about them we find out they're actually really soft and kind (holy shit wait is general mc just the direct opposite of mammon?)

cw: spider mention, set in Nightbringer, mutual attraction, no established relationship, MC is an oblivious dunce & Solomon is touchstarved to the point that sudden close physical contact with his LI nearly makes him faint on the spot lmao

You were simply minding your own business, reorganizing some things in your room at Cocytus Hall when you suddenly noticed a huge spider twice the size of your hand on the wall to your left.

You let out a little scream and jumped away from the wall, bumping into something. Or someone.

"MC? Are you okay?"

You felt Solomon behind you stiffen in surprise as you bumped into him, one of your hands brushing his thigh. Or his hip. You couldn't really tell, you were too occupied with anxiously staring at the big spider on your bedroom wall to keep watch of whether it was moving or not.

While the sight of a spider didn't put you in a state of panic, you didn't really like spiders all that much. Especially when they were potentially dangerous and/or appeared on the wall of your bedroom wholly uninvited, deciding they intended to make your room their forever home and not pay any rent. You weren’t a big fan to say the least.

Small spiders weren't really a problem, it was the bigger ones that you were mildly terrified of. Which was stupid when you thought about it, since the smaller ones were usually the venomous ones and the bigger ones rather harmless... But you were in the Devildom and just assumed that everything was out to get you six feet under by default.

"Please get the spider out of my room, Solomon. Please please please."

You shrieked and winced as it moved.

"Anything for my adorable apprentice."

One incantation later and the spider was gone.

"...Is it gone?" Yes, you were looking at the obviously spiderless wall, but you wanted to make extra sure. Just in case. Better safe than sorry.

"Yes. I used a teleportation spell to send it to another place, away from Cocytus Hall."

"Oh, thank Diavolo." You let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Solomon!"

Turning around, you hugged him.

The surprise of a sudden hug caught the sorcerer off-guard. It took him a second to regain his composure and hug you back.

"Anyday, MC."

As you wrapped your arms around him, you felt his heart beating ferociously in his chest.

You looked up and wanted to ask him if everything was alright, but then you saw that he had small ivory feathers in his hair.

"Did your pillows explode during one of your experiments? There are feathers in your hair."

Without asking for his permission, you reached up to gently pluck the feathers out of his hair, your hand brushing his cheeks and nose several times in the process.

A good look at his face showed that his cheeks were now pale pink and his breaths ever so slightly shallow.

You eyed him worriedly. "Sol, are you okay? Do you have a fever? Was the spicy zombie dragon liver curry you ate for lunch today a little too much for you? Do you want me to go get you some medica-"

Before he had the chance to respond your D.D.D started ringing, the sudden loud noise startling both of you. Taking a step back from Solomon, you grabbed your phone from the nightstand and answered the call.

"MC, there’s a giant spider in the House of Lamentation and it has already devoured Asmo's vanity and Mammon's car and now it’s chasing us!" You heard Asmo's blood curdling scream in the background while Levi was panting, trying to hastily explain the situation while presumably running for his life. "Lucifer is currently at the Demon Lord's Castle - Please, you need to help! I don't know how much longer we can run!" Mammon yowled as Levi shrieked and the sound of something being smashed could be heard.

You looked at Solomon.

The sorcerer was attentively watching you, sporting a sly smirk.

"I... erm... Levi... I don't know how to tell you this, but I can't handle spiders myself. I'm sorry, I doubt I’d be any help."

"Please MC, anything -"

Solomon gingerly plucked the D.D.D out of your hand.

"I'm sorry Leviathan, but this is one of MC's scheduled off days and they're very busy currently. I'm sure you'll be able to handle the spider on your own. Good Luck!" He cheerily ended the call and placed your phone back on the nightstand.

You shuddered. "Well, I won't be setting foot into the House of Lamentation until that spider is gone, that's for sure."

Solomon smugly smiled. "Perfect, that means I get more time to have you to myself."

Luci Headcanons

Lucifer throws hissy fits. All the time. His inner child is very angry

Lucifer refuses to eat asparagus due to choking on it and almost dying when he was a fledgling. The asparagus was cooked improperly so he couldn't chew it and he had to pull a whole string out of his throat.

Lucifer keeps every achievement his brothers ever have. It can be ribbons or shitty art from when they were five but he still kept it for old times sake (I saw another post saying he keeps the achievements in the part of his office that's up those random stairs)

Lucifer either sleeps in the middle of his bed as stiff as a board or sprawled out in disturbing positions in his demon from. There is no in between.

As a final "fuck you", God cursed Lucifer to have the scent of the Celestial Realm always follow him so he would never forget.

Luci actually cries a lot, he usually goes to Mammon when he does so

Lucifer absolutely takes Naps in Mammon's car. Mammon only allows this because he knows how much Lucifer needs sleep.

Lucifer has a few plushies in his closet since he doesn't feel comfortable asking his brothers for a hug.

Lucifer actually gets sick a lot but won't admit it. Overwork and not taking care of himself has weakened his immune system.

Lucifer has his brothers on his Home Screen and his lock screen is Mc with a knife being unhinged.

Mc could commit murder and Lucifer wouldn't bat an eye since he's used to everyone's unhinged bullshit.

Lucifer actually stopped drinking as much after making a pact with Mc, mostly to keep them from worrying

One of my favorite weird headcanons is that raven is actually Lucifer’s feathers.

I mean, come on. It’s canon that Mammon ran quite the con as an angel trying to sell Raphael’s feathers. Seemingly the only reason that failed was because it wasn’t actually Raphael’s feathers. You mean to tell me Lucifer’s feathers wouldn’t ALSO be a hot commodity?? Like, Dia alone would probably be a regular buyer. Not to mention the average demon who sees the brothers as celebrities.

Plus, it’s just really funny imagining random characters just giving MC a handful of Lucifer’s feathers as a gift. And then instead of questioning how and why the hell they got them MC just goes to the local boutique and buys clothes with them.

- Sits so close to you he’s basically on your lap when he either wants to be held or wants to try holding you (He’s afraid he’ll drop you though)

- Probably happened in TSL (seems like sth henry would do tbh) and he’s freaking out about it bc this is NAWT the scene he wanted to reenact with you but it’s still so cool and you’re so cool and pretty and handsome and….. oh he’s been staring at you for a while hasn’t he? Time to crawl in a hole and die

- Actually just bewildered 😭😭 blushy too but like. Extremely confused

- Would not like you to do it around Abel but if you did he wouldn’t get mad or anything, he’d just be unable to converse like a normal person

- CONFLICTED he likes the feeling and the proximity because he can feel the fanning of your breath on his skin, see every one of even your most menial features, feel the burn of his face under your gaze, enjoy the warmth of your body close to his, etc but at the same time its a bit odd to him (he just has to get used to being loved, I fear)

“Uh.. um…..g..good…..” (Probably gulped and everything 😭)

- He’s silly he answers every question seriously even if it’s rhetorical 😭❤️ thinks you’re seriously asking him

- Definitely a fan after getting used to it especially when you kiss the side of his face (ESP ESP if u kiss his eyelids or near his eyes) (I say eyes bc yes you kiss both; you show love to every part of him which is so endearing to him bc it shows that you aren’t just trying to make him feel better about his backstory but just love all of him)

- WILL CARRY YOU IN RETURN !! So much so that for every 1 time you carry him he’s probably carried you like 5 times in any position you’d like (nothing too scandalous though, he might evaporate)

- Reverts to back when you two were in the pining stage when he wants affection in general (not specifically being carried but it usually includes this or at least laying across your lap) and starts stuttering like crazy, unable to even talk properly nor can he even look you in the eye; shakes violently

- Smells your hair, sorry. If you are. Bald he just smells you— your perfume, your cologne, your natural musk whatever. He shoves his face into your neck and he just wants to be as close to you as possible
