(HELLUVA BOSS SPOILERS) ok sooo

We've established that these frames AREN'T from mastermind, which makes me go to other fan theories that have been thrown around these past few months.

We know that stolas has been kicked out of the ars goetia at this point, and that Andre had taken his spot. So blitz and stolas supposedly attempting to break in would most likely be to save/take back Octavia from Stella and her brother's care. (Unlike how we usually thought, that blitz was breaking in to get stolas)

Still we don't know what caused them to go and save her. Well. You know what I mean.

Did they just go and decide to save her? Unprompted? We obviously know that stolas would do anything for his daughter, but it would be seemingly safer for Octavia to be in the castle (idk how to call stolas' house lol) rather than with fugitives.

I think it's much more likely that Octavia sent a message to stolas, to come get her. Or that something had been publicly announced that made them need to go save her

Maybe Stella/andre had been trying to mold her into a more "perfect" mold. Setting her up with other royal guys, which she has no interest in. Making her go to more royal events, to fit the public quota. They might even be attempting to teach her how to do more with the grimoire, which, on another note, andrealphus might not even know how to use, with no (known)training all his life

Or maybe she hadnt made a public appearance since andrealphus took over. Not even a sinstagram post.

Those are just my thoughts though.

Also, very scared for the stolitz were gonna get in sinsmas. I know we got fed this episode, and while they did mean their words and actions, all of this was fueled by the adrenaline and fear of losing eachother forever. We have no idea how much they have reconciled from the events in full moon and apology tour, and we dont know the extent of that possible reconciliation. Because I know for hell they have NOT had a healthy conversation about what happened, nor do i think they will, for some time at least.

so what if the mist is actually… *drum roll* a sort of limbo for the characters

In some of the character stories they go to the most a little bit before they’re hinted to die, like Cora, she was running away from her father after he attacked her. She likely would’ve died had it not been for the mist. But what if she ALREADY DIED? oh and for Amari, the dude was about to die in the plane crash buttt he didn’t because of the mist. This type of situation occurs a few more times with other characters

Eiji and Jun (Got into a car crash. Didn’t die because they were transported)

•Seoung (could’ve died/got possessed in the main timeline because of the ritual. Didn’t because of mist)

•Eman, Aaaqil, Callum, and Yronica (Could’ve gotten killed by principal had it not been for mist)

•mamo (could’ve died from the bus crash. She didn’t but then got transported to mist)

•Dakota (could’ve gotten ran over. Got misted instead)

• Parker and Gavin (almost crashed, didn’t. But got misted)

•Kyle and Serena (not exactly sure about this one but I think they could’ve died to Cole had they not been transported)

•Sarah (drowned, got transported)

•Emil (could’ve died from either getting kidnapped or his wounds. Got misted)

•Lyndon (his story is sort of vague but either two things could’ve happened, he could’ve died from the guys or hopping overboard and drowning)

•Janitor (died from the fall down the stairs)

but as you may notice, most of these aren’t deaths, and some of them are. They are more like near death experiences. So I think that mist isn’t like a normal limbo where people go when they die, but it’s half that. Simply a phenomena that occurs triggered by near death and death experiences from people. So like a pseudo limbo, though I don’t really have an explanation for characters like Taylor who didn’t die or have a near death experience. I might expand on this idea later but it’s an interesting thought. Mist is definitely more than it looks on the outside.

My friends, idk how, but im gonna figure out a way to share my final presentation with you guys for a class after I finish it. Because I'll be damned if I'm gonna be this passionate about this thing, do all the research, make a ppt AND cardboard tri-fold, and present this at a "Research Symposium" for 2 hours to whoever stops at my booth during finals week to not share with the people I like most 😤

Basically for the project we have to take a person or event and give background on them before analyzing them through a Social Psychology lense (bc the class is social psychology lol). AND GODS DO I LOVE SHIT LIKE THISSSSS. I will not be sharing what event I chose for two reason: 1) I want ya'll to read and learn about it through my post when I post it 😌 and 2) It's a REALLY obscure event from what I've gathered (like I barely have 5 sources for references and one's ONLY in german) and I doubt many would know what I was talking about.

ok. ok. i think im finally (mostly) settled on elspeth's ending and her handling of the landsmeet in particular. illegible hysteria below

i spent like 20 hours of this game hyping up an alistair/anora alliance but i dont think i can do it in practice im too weak Lol. BUT i do like the idea of trying it anyway and it falling apart bc everything always falls apart in this universe. so yeah, alistair does do the dual in the end, despite what i said the other day (he's the one who at this point wants to be king. so why not) much to ella's horror. the detail i mentioned about loghain being the only person to defeat her in her tourney days still carries symbolic weight, because it was ELLA who trained and mentored and levelled alistair up through the blight. shes like babe if i cant beat him you shouldnt risk it !! and so him then BEATING loghain regardless is a nice lil "student surpasses the teacher" moment and also drives home that ella is a good commander and theyre both stronger than they were.

ofc this means alistair obviously goes rogue and does what he does at the end of the fight — regardless of the promises of mercy ella made to anora and their attempts at an alliance lol. which sucks and its not as neat a solution, but emotions were high and its understandable and also L + ratio + loghain sold elves into slavery. ella got her vengeance over howe earlier so shes like sigh ok anyways. SO. the alliance is a bust, but alistair is hardened anyway so its not the end of the world. he rules alone post canon with ella still as adviser and his mistress, BUT :) im thinking about him refusing to take a wife in this path, specifically because he's trying to convince ELLA to marry him and make it official. she always rejects him but its in an ahaha.... unless 👀 kinda way that encourages him to keep trying. i mean the only reason she doesnt feel like she can is bc Duty and Responsibilities and Obligations blah blah blah..... ALL of which she could still honor while being queen. so yeah. completing her story and having her reaffirm her grey warden duty + alistair's king duty, and their mutual dark ritual sacrifice, but with the open ended possibility that a happier ending IS possible at some point ! when she's ready ! maybe after she cures the taint :) who knows
