ok so here's my oc's lore

so pretty much she originally was stuck on the island with the other six but wasn't part of Camp Cretatous (knows Kenji's dad and decided to take a self-guided tour) and after the events of Camp Cretatous biosyn reached out to a couple of the campers they refused (manta Corp flashbacks from Sammy and Ben was too busy with bumpy and idk why Darius said no but imma figure it out) so pretty much biosyn wanted a perspective on how dinosaurs interact in untouched nature for their "conservation project" and she obliged.

Every week was something new and exciting from seeing the resurrection process to feeding the smaller dinosaurs, distracting her from the scheming in the background. Eventually when they no longer needed her help she asked for one thing as a parting gift, an unfertilized utahraptor egg for her to do her own little studying. They saw no harm and let her have the egg (wu was not informed because it seemed fine at the time) and ahe was sent off on her merry way.

As she's leaving the facility she bumps into a familiar face, Dr. Ian Malcolm who had just been hired as their in-house philosopher, she gets his autograph and a picture and leaves, but something itches at the back of her brain about this place and she can't put her finger on it, but for now, it doesn't matter.

So the MC is pretty smart and has read pretty much every one of Malcolm and Grant's books and knows that in the right conditions that egg could hatch. (I'm not sure how that works so we're just gonna roll with it till I find a paper on it)

She raises the raptor and nurtures friendly traits in it. Using Owen grady's tactic with the clicker to communicate with it.

She learns about Brooklyn's death and finds the circumstances suspicious looking a bit too much into it she ends up where Mr. Kon is serving time, and instead of intervening in their conversation, she lingers back, watching. After a while, she witnesses the dinosaur attack and comes to the conclusion the atrociraptors think of her as their alpha so they listen.

She decides to follow raptor lady around, trying to not be seen, but is eventually confronted and after that I genuinely don't know how the fuck she gets out of that with bother and her dino alive 👍🏼

(I also have plans for her to put together some stuff about biosyn and the dpw and practically be on the run from everyone)

Also yes she is being targeted as she was on the island like the rest of the kids but she wasn't home when they got there and wasn't answering her phone so they just worriedly hoped she was OK while they went to go get Kenji

recently realized that dick had a relationships with all three of his rapists beyond one incident, like he lived with liu and eddie for a while, mirage posed as kori for an extended period of time and we really have no way of knowing how long he was with catalina, this creates a pattern of people that he knows betraying him and using him for their own gratification

which makes me think of his relationships with his family and friends rn, if one of them started crossing boundaries would he accept it? would he even have expected it? if babs didn’t hear him say wait one night would he know that it’s a mistake or would he think “ah, you too?”

like he loves his family and trusts them with his life but I don’t think he can trust them not to hurt him and that includes sexually, part of it is the constant paranoia that comes with being a vigilante for almost two decades and part of it is unprocessed trama but thinking anyone could start to abuse him probably isn’t good for his health or for his relationships lmao

oh for sure for sure!! im also fairly convinced dick would struggle seeing any of those incidents as rape. the liu incident doesn't meet the proper legal qualifications, he was at times blamed by his own team for what happened with mirage, and so much plays into the situation with catalina that im not sure he'd even be able to process it at all. the murder takes priority, and he'd see it more through a lense of him failing to save cat than him being assaulted.

dick wouldn't /want/ to have been assaulted, so i don't think he'd categorize any of that as rape. if others cross boundaries, he might justify/minimize it out of habit. less that he thinks anyone could/would abuse him, and more that he would never recognize harm done to him as abuse.

(some notes for those without context on some of the stuff being referred to!)

liu and eddie: there's a storyline in which dick runs away at 16 (or as he puts it, one month short of 17) and lives on his own. by which i mean, most likely homeless. he works as a dishwasher iirc. one day, his coworker recommends these people who take in teenaged runaways and offers them a place to stay. it's functionally a gang that uses cult recruitment tactics to manipulate teenagers into doing their bidding. the /they/ being liu and eddie. dick is just another kid, and doesnt realize what they're doing until he's already pretty deep in it. there's a fair amount of bonding and attachment, with liu and eddie showing him favoritism and singling him out in a way that makes them his primary support network. eventually this all leads to a sexual encounter between dick and liu. something worth noting: the age of consent in new jersey (where gotham is and where this story is set) is 16, and as it was a technically consensual encounter it is incredibly unlikely for it to be legally classified as rape/sexual assault.

mirage: ok imma be real u gotta ask someone else for this one. or maybe read the actual comics bc tumblr is a mess when looking for actually useful info.

catalina: ok!! ok... from my understanding there was originally going to be a full plotline about dick being in an abusive relationship with catalina, but it was rushed/cut short so that DC could put nightwing in a batman crossover event. classic. but dick had already been trying to mentor catalina for a decent while before she started abusing him. tried to /mentor/ her. her hurting him? to dick, it would likely feel like a reflection on him. that /he/ must have fucked up for her to end up doing something like that. it's left somewhat vague, but we don't have any reason to not believe cat continued to sexually abuse dick off page. we see her get him drunk and try to get him to sign marriage documents, she wants to /possess/ him. dick is incredibly dissociative throughout the aftermath, up until DC needed to force him out of his own story arc to hold daddy bat's hand. sorry lol

“Hurry up idiots! Almost curfew!” Bakugou yelled loud enough all his dumbass friends (and you) could hear him in the small mini-market, uncaring of the cashier's tired and annoyed gaze. 

He wished he could say it was a mystery how he always got roped into the group's stupid-as-shit antics. Especially when he’d rather be sleeping or on occasion, watching a movie (and cuddling) with you. But that was the fucking answer, wasn’t it? Your damn nagging and stupid face.

“You know what we’re getting the snacks for would get us in way more trouble than being a little late for curfew, right dude?” Kaminari unhelpfully pointed out, reminding Bakugou of the reason for this particular late-night snack run.

“More reason to hurry it the fuck up, Dunce Face,” Bakugou replied, crossing his arms and glaring at the other blonde as he went back to taking forever to decide between the same flavor of chips from different brands.

It was time for another “Super Manly OK Enigmatic Studying Event SHhhh" as it had been dubbed by the group, a very terrible code for a smoke sesh, in his opinion. (Even if it did take him a bit to figure out what it all stood for - it wasn’t his fault the idiots hadn't made a correct acronym!) 

Basically, at the end of any particularly stressful as-hell week, his idiotic friends got stupid fucking high and, because you were his girlfriend - and definitely not because he cared about any of the idiots getting in trouble, Bakugou always sat around and babysat. You’d all assured him he didn’t need to do that, he could join or even go to bed, but that's where the important emphasis of idiots came in, and he stuck around.

“Okay, I got the really spicy chips you like and the little Twinkie cake things you pretend not to like. Anything else?” You stepped in front of him, arms arguably too filled with snacks but any leftovers would be used for group study sessions the rest of the week, so it was standard for everyone to go overboard. 

“That’s gotta be fine. I don’t fuckin' know.” He muttered, darting his eyes around as he admitted the last part. 

This time was different than the others. This time Bakugou was actually joining in; and he was definitely not at all nervous or scared about that - outside of not wanting to get in trouble and ruin his record, but that was normal. He was definitely not scared of getting high.

You stepped forward and tapped your forehead against his chest, arms too full to poke him, before looking back up at him. “You know you don’t have to, right?”

Bakugou frowned. “I said I wanted to fuckin’ try. I’m gonna fuckin’ try.”

“Okay.” You gave him a smile and then looked around, lowering your voice, “Remember, if you get anxious or just don’t like it, triple tap me or let me know somehow, and we can go sleep it off in my room.”

“Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Imma be fine.” He tried to act nonchalant, but he did appreciate it; and the secrecy. I made him more comfortable about the whole prospect.

“y/n, hurry up, we’re checking out, or I’m not paying for your stuff!” Racoon Eyes called from the cash register (the cashier looking defeated) it was her turn to pay for all the shit.

“Coming!” You gave him one more tap with your head before hurrying off. He stayed by the door, arms crossed, waiting for you all to finish up.

When finally the ding of the door closing behind you sounded, and everyone was headed back to the dorms, Backugou felt some of his nerves begin to ease. No one would be getting in trouble for missing curfew tonight at the very least.

With your hands-free, Shitty Hair and Dunce Face on bag-carrying duty, you slipped your hand into his, not giving him a choice in the matter. He preferred it that way, Bakugou wanted you close, and this way, he got to look like less of the sap he was for you while getting just that.

“I hope they don’t try to race tonight. My legs are killing me from training,” you groaned quietly to prevent the “r” word from reaching anyone else's ears.

“From training, huh?” He smirked, dipping his head a little lower to all but whisper the words and get you flustered.

It worked.

“Katsuki!” you exclaimed and hip-checked him, not hard enough to make him misstep even slightly, adorable pout on your lips.

“That all you got, baby?” he chuckled, cocking a brow.

You narrowed your eyes at him squeezing his hand tighter. “You better not K-”

But before you could finish, he pulled his hand from yours and called back to the rest of the group, “Gonna beat you slow fuckers to the dorms!'' Then he blasted off, your shout of “asshole” and the cries of his other friends failing to catch up making him snicker.

The wind in his face and the calming sound of his own explosions helped ease the rest of his not nerves as he waited a good few minutes for everyone else to catch up. Shitty Hair and Dunce Face the last ones to come huffing and puffing because of having to make sure the snacks made it, and their quirks being no help for speed.

The night was going to be chill, maybe even fun, not that he’d ever admit that thought. He was excited, not nervous about trying something new.

“Completely unfair, man!” Kirishima cried when he finally made it to the gate, hugging two bags of food tightly, Kaminari still a little behind.

“Gotta get fuckin’ faster.”

“I’m so gonna get you back for that later.” You poked his chest with another pout that had him smirking.

“Uh-huh.”

You rolled your eyes but stepped in tandem with him back up to Kaminari’s room.

“Kirishima’s turn to pick a movie, right?” Jirou asked after everyone settled in.

“Yeah!” The redhead fist pumped, big stupid grin on his face.

“Ugh,” Mina groaned, “you always pick the same dumb fighting movies.”

He frowned, opening his mouth and then closing it when no defense came to mind. She wasn’t wrong after all. 

“And you always pick the same cheesy romances,” you filled in for Kirishima.

“But those are adorable!” Racoon eyes exclaimed.

Everyone gave her unconvinced looks and a few “not really” hand gestures with some hemming and hawing sounds.

She got the hint. “Fine.” She crossed her arms in defeat.

With that settled, Kirishima went back to excitedly looking for a movie.

“You’re actually joining this time, dude?” Sero asked, eyebrow raised as he started rolling.

“Yeah, what about it?” Bakugou got defensive.

Tape Arms shrugged. “Just surprised, you’re normally a grampa.”

“Yeah, what did y/n do to convince you?” Kaminari wiggled his eyebrows, wincing when Jirou jabbed him with her jacks and shook her head.

“Nothing. I just wanted to try. Fuck off.” 

“You sure you wanna know what we get up to?” you teased with a raise of your brow.

Kaminari frowned. “That feels like a trick question.”

You just shrugged with a sneaky smile and leaned back against Bakugou, whose frown had not changed.

Kaminari shuddered, and the others laughed.

And really you hadn’t done anything. At least not in the way Kaminari was suggesting. You’d been using it a little to help you sleep and had explained how it helped calm you down, he’d gotten curious from your descriptions, simple as that. It was important to try different things and if this ended up being beneficial, like the thousands of sites he had done research on before tonight insisted, then even better.

“Is Momo coming?” Sero looked to Jirou, one finished joint in his hand.

She shook her head. “No, she doesn’t really like the smell and all the smoke, but she might join a little later for just the movie.”

He looked to Kaminari. “What about Shinso?”

He also shook his head no. “Outta town cat sitting.” Kaminari wiggled his eyebrows back at him. “And Roki?”

A light dusting of pink settled on Sero’s cheeks, the relationship new enough he still got flustered about it, his smile not budging even as he replied with a little bit of longing, “He’s with his family for the weekend. You know that, dude.”

“Yeah, but if you're gonna ask everyone else, I gotta ask you too.'' Kaminari lightly punched Sero’s arm. He just shook his head fondly before finally starting off the joint.

(Bakugou would be forever grateful none of the idiots he hung out with ended up dating Deku. Icy-Hot was one thing, the nerd would be too much.)

Bakugou scrutinized the way Tape Arms inhaled and didn't cough. He never cared to pay that much attention, and you had already explained how to do it, but he didn't want to look like an idiot when he tried, so he was doing his best to take mental notes.

Tape Face passed it to Raccoon Eyes, she grinned, took her two puffs with ease, and passed it to Jirou, who did cough a little, but he can’t tell the difference in their techniques. Then Jirou passed it to you, and then, fuck, you passed it to him with a little encouraging smile. He can tell the other idiots are watching him. It’s not that weird for him to be doing this. It’s not. People already thought of him as a delinquent, much to his chagrin, so this was nothing.

“You just gonna stare at it, dude?” Kaminari butt in.

Bakugou glared at him. “Fuck off.'' Then his eyes were back on the joint. He quickly brought it to his lips and; breathe in, breath in, breath out. Pause. Again. Just like everyone else before him, he made to pass it to the next person, but immediately his throat felt dry and scratchy. He tried to suppress the feeling, but he couldn't, and now he’s coughing like crazy. Fuck.

Tape Arms and Dunce Face are laughing at him, Kirishima is handing him a water bottle, and you’re rubbing his back.

“Totally normal to cough your first time,” you assured.

And that might be true, but even in this stupidity he didn't want to be normal, he wanted to be the best. He would have to try again.

“Coughing can make it hit harder, so be careful,” Sero warned, his teasing laughter subsided, Kirishima passing the joint he'd taken from Bakugou back to him after his too (easy) puffs.

“I’m fine.” Except the water wasn't helping, and he was still fighting coughs when it got passed around for his turn again, so he had to skip it and try again on everyone else’s third round.

You pick your head off his shoulder when it’s passed to you again. With an ease that he’s jealous of, you take your puffs and then hand the joint to him again, waiting before you put your head back against him.

It’s stupid to feel inferior from this. Especially because it is delinquent behavior. He shouldn't want to be good at this. But he does. So, when he takes it from you, he makes a big show of taking a long slow inhale, trying to get a lot, assuming that’s the goal, without making a goddamn fool of himself from coughing this time. He mostly manages it, two deep breaths and only little coughs that could be blamed on the earlier fit.

“Woah, dude, you’re a natural. Who'd a thunk the goodie-two-shoes could pick it up so fast,” Kaminari razzed, putting a hand to his chest in mock surprise. 

Bakugou glared his way, but the comment meant he did it right and did it well.

By his third round, he’s definitely feeling it. His eyelids getting heavy, and he feels - slow. Everyone else is still talking, but he can’t quite follow along, voices almost muffled unless he really focuses. Your hand has traveled up to his hair, and damn did it always feel so good? Your fingers scratch at the back of his scalp, sending satisfying tingles through his body, making his brain feel pleasantly fuzzy. The little bit of clear thought and willpower Bakugou has left he uses to stop any sort of dopey grin from making its way across his face.

“-gonna start the movie.” He barely catches someone (Sero?) say before you’re suddenly pulling your hand away and moving to stand, leaving his side cold. Did it always feel so cold? He had to fight a small shiver.

Bakugou gathers the sense to shift around like everyone else, moving to his normal movie night seat, back against Kaminari’s bed, legs outstretched, waiting for you to sit in between them, your back against his chest.

His limbs feel heavy as he moves over; like he’s a little too aware of the fact that they're there. All his motions happening slower than he’d like, sluggish. But then you’re there, settling against him again, and the thoughts are forgotten with how warm and comfortable it feels to have you there. Something he’s always appreciated feels even better now.

Racoon Eyes hits the lights, and Dunce Face presses play.

“Sharknado, dude? Really?” Tape Arms groans as the movie starts.

Kirishima lets out an offended gasp, sitting up to defend his choice. “What’s wrong with Sharknado! It’s one of the best film series out there!”

Bakugou is just barely able to follow along, the conversation moving a bit fast for his brain to process. He wants to call Kirishima out for referring to it as a film, but they’ve already moved past that by the time he’s able to conjure the words.

“It has romance, action, adventure, comedy, explosions,” Kirishima insists, tapping his fingers as he ticks off things that would make everyone happy.

This feeling, Bakugou decides he doesn’t like. The inability to keep up. But he isn’t able to dwell on it because you start shushing everyone, “It’s starting!”

The dialogue is mostly lost on him, going in one ear and out the other, the same almost muffled effect persisting. Maybe it’s the quality of the movie, but the visuals look more interesting than he imagines they might have if he were in his right mind. While only half paying attention, Bakugou found himself mindlessly running his fingers across Kaminari’s shag carpet, and damn, it felt so soft. He’s never really taken notice of it before, but now, the texture was extremely pleasing. 

That had him curious. If this felt so good, what else might? His hand found your thigh under the blanket you had thrown over the two of you, your pajama shorts leaving much to be exposed and explored that he, sadly, couldn’t feel through his sweatpants.

Your skin is soft in a different way from the carpet, even more pleasing to his calloused fingertips. He gives a little squeeze - you shuffle a little, and he lets his hand lay flat again as you turn your head to whisper in his ear.

“How are you doing?”

It took a goddamned few seconds for the cogs in his brain to turn so he could process what you asked after you pulled back to look at him, waiting for an answer. He blinks, gathers his thoughts, then leans in to whisper back to you, trying not to attract any attention from the idiots, “Fine.” Then, he pauses, trying to explain the sluggish feeling, and ask if it’s normal, “Tired?”

You nod, but that’s not an answer. “Remember, three taps or just haul me up, and we can go.”

You wait for his slow nod before you turn back around to watch the movie.

You didn’t say if it was normal.

Was he not supposed to feel this slow? This groggy? He felt vulnerable. Could everyone see? How weak he was right now? Shit. Could he even use his quirk like this? If he had to fight, could he? His nerves are spiking. He can't stop it. The screen is a blur. He can't focus on what’s happening at all. Should he tap you? He thought you had been over-exaggerating the possibility of it giving him anxiety like this.

You had to be feeling his heart beating against your back, right? Why weren’t you saying anything? He shifted a little trying to make a decision between just standing and dragging you out or tapping you first. Before he can make the choice you turn to look back at him. He can easily focus on your face, the little worried furrow in your brow, the small part in your lips that lets him feel your breath against his face.

Kirishima shouts something at the screen, he catches a few words but has no context for them, and Kaminari groans loud in response. The others laugh a little, you're still looking at him. Bakugou squeezes your thigh again and gives a short nod.

Yeah, he’d rather be in his right mind, but if anything happened, even if he wasn’t at his best, you got him. Even if he hated admitting it, the whole group could handle it - anything that might happen.

His anxiety calmed again, he settled more comfortably against Kaminari’s bed, hand tracing patterns against your skin. He still didn't like the slowness, but the heightened senses he was enjoying. That thought was only reinforced when you handed him the extra spicy chips you'd picked out with him in mind. Anyone who didn’t like these had to be a complete fucking idiot, it was like an explosion of flavour in his mouth, then you handed him a Twinkie, at first he only got a taste of the chemicals and almost wanted to spit it out but that was quickly replaced by the sweetness with a hint of lemon that made him like these damn things so much. He kind of wanted to taste them together but refused to become that type of smoker stereotype. He also wanted to taste his own cooking like this.

“Want anything else?” You leaned back and turned around a little again to ask.

An even better thought came to his slow brain. He wanted to taste you feeling like this. Bakugou nodded slowly, then realized what you'd asked, and though he was very curious, he could wait for if he decided to do this again; or when he had more of an understanding of it (or for later if he still felt like this when you all headed to bed), he shook his head.

You raised an eyebrow, holding back an amused smile. “Yes or no?”

“M’good baby.” He settled on, instead of trying to figure out which way to move his head again.

“I can tell.” You held back a laugh, “You're honestly enjoying this a lot more than I thought you would.” Your hand found his still mindlessly playing with the fat of your thigh.

He pouted, but before he could form a response one of the idiots yelled, “How’s the baby doing?”

It took a few seconds for Bakugou to realize they were talking about him, but between you biting back a smile and the feeling of all eyes on him, he figured it out and shot back as fast as he could, much grumblier than he intended, “m’fuckin fine, fuck off.”

“Even weed can’t make him chill,” Sparky sighed.

Bakugou raised a middle finger, his responses coming a little faster now, or maybe everyone else was at his speed now?

There’s an explosion from the tv and then a knock on the door. His heart rate spikes. Oh fuck. They're gonna get in trouble. He’s gonna get kicked out. All-Might is gonna hate him, Deku’s really gonna be number one.

You must sense his panic because you squeeze his hand and lean forward to release some pressure from his chest.

The door creaks open and fucking Ponytail pops her head in. She wrinkles her nose at the smell, but when Ears makes grabby hands toward her, she just lets a smile cross her lips and walks in, closing the door behind her.

She settles in, then leans forward off the bed, and taps Bakugou on the shoulder. Shit. The two of them are usually the only sober ones in the room, she’s gonna wanna talk, ask for a movie recap or something, and there's no fucking way he can do that.

You must sense him tense (heightened feelings? Or would you always have been able to feel that?) because you turn around and, quicker than he can figure out how, you give Ponytail a smile and say. “There's not really a lot to follow - there’s a shark storm, and we’re watching the heroes try to stop it without dying or losing more people”

She darts her eyes between the two of you but must figure it out, smiles with a small thanks, and leans back to cuddle with Ears again.

Kirishima must overhear because he starts defending the movie again. 

Bakugou sees Mina on the floor painting her nails with much slower strokes than usual, Kaminari and Jirou have gotten into a poke war every few seconds poking the other without really looking away from the movie, Ponytail flicking her eyes from looking at Ears fondly and the screen, Sero’s put one ear bud in, tapping away at his phone (probably texting Icy-Hot) and Kirishima is yet to notice as he goes back to watching swaying a little with the background music playing at this scene. 

As Bakugou settles back this time, he doesn't even try to follow along just lets himself enjoy the atmosphere. You shift a little in his lap to be able to quietly whisper things to Momo every once in a while, and everything feels okay. He's not sure if he'll try getting high again, maybe just alone with you, but despite the brief moments of panic he feels calm now, he gets it, this is nice.

Rest day and much needed one

Heya all. Am doing a bit better. As usual my nerves were up and down which I hate. But generally I’m ok. What I’m gonna do is play some games today cuz some events happened and I wanna help my teammates in them cuz it big big big. Gf should answer some asks if they come in. Sorry if any of them been taking long, she also has work and such. But I’m hoping I can help her with stuff when I’m done with my break (if I can even call this week a break). But everything should be fine. Two things I should note, one I’m getting my dentist follow up looked at tomorrow. 🦐 - tell me about a character or story that is giving you shrimp emotions right now

omg SO, I'm still very emotionally invested right now on Thurak, my dearest half-orc barbarian cus I'm still working on his story and properly writing it down, maybe do some comics on events I consider happen in-game but don't happen actually cus they're innately tied to his backstory (So character interactions, fights and stuff)

So Imma just write down a short-ish summary of his backstory just because I have to let it out somehow, it is consuming my brain like a tadpole (I am also severely breaking canon on some parts, probably)

Draft of Thurak's backstory under the cut

So Thurak was born in the surface (probably Waterdeep), son of a human man and an orc woman, they were happy as a family... for just 2 years.

Yeah so turns out a criminal organization (specifically the Iron Ring) had an eye on them and Thurak got snatched very young because of that. When he was about 2 years old he was brought to Skullport in the Underdark where he was raised by one of the high commands of the Iron Ring, a male drow whom is currently unnamed. He was tasked to raise him and turn him into an useful asset for them

This drow was his father figure growing up, teaching him how to speak and how to read (So Thurak's main language isn't common, is drowidic and undercommon), acting as a somewhat loving parent for him

His father introduced him to the concept of an arena the Iron Ring had to get him interested, slowly manipulating him to make him believe that he wanted to participate, and when Thurak was older his father started to get him to train to actually go into the arena

And Thurak did it ever so eagerly, becoming and absolute beast and somewhat of a star in there, earning the title of 'The Skullcrusher' (Because he was/is able to do that)

The Iron Ring is known in the Underdark for their slave trade, and in my version they use this arena as a showcase for some of them

His father actively tried to keep him away of all this slaves, mostly out of fear that they would undo all the hard work he put into manipulating him when he saw their condition (cus he lied to Thurak telling him that every warrior chose to be there)

Unfortunately he couldn't stop him and he became friends with someone there, and, well, Thurak told his father about his friend, father went "Not in my watch" and to be a lil bitch he arranged a deathmatch between the two of them

Thurak is alive so you can imagine how it went

Back at home he returned to his father absolutely fuming, basically screaming at him how he could let something like that happen, how dare he let something like that happen, father just responded like "Take it as a little lesson, don't get close to those people, now now, join me for dinner," Thurak was obviously enraged by this, still screaming at him, so his father threatened him that if he didn't behave he would throw him with the rest of his "friends" as he put it

Thurak snapped at him, almost punched him, got stopped by one of his father's bodyguards and he was, in fact, thrown with the rest of the slaves, telling him that he was very disappointed of him and to take this as his punishment. Thurak went from living in luxury to the slumps basically

He was bitter and angry and sad, he had, so many conflicting emotions at that point. There he met more of the fighters, and they slowly but surely started making a break out plan

Some time of planning passes (could be months could be a couple of years) and with Thurak's knowledge of the arena both in and out they managed a plan to break out and leave Skullport and the Underdark for good

Long story short, they succeeded, not everyone got out but most of their team did

So they returned to the surface, becoming something akin to a caravan, travelling from city to city, Thurak became one of the main protectors, he had to put to use that strength for something

They unfortunately were in Baldur's Gate at the time of the Nautiloid snatching, so Thurak (and other people from the caravan) got taken

This is some in-game event notes (This is Thurak as a companion stuff basically):

Very minor notes, his main objective would be to find the other people who got snatched, slowly finding out along the way that for some god forsaken reason the Iron Ring got somehow involved with the cult of the absolute (through the underdark slave trade)

His 'final boss' would be his father basically, still working on that interaction

He canonically is a wild magic barb and there are some lore stuff that made me point to his magic surges being probably netherese magic

Mostly cus Skullport is built atop netherese ruins and the tadpole probably awaken some residual power Thurak was carrying with him

SO YES, that is all my notes from Thurak's backstory

He is making me go absolutely mental I love him sm I need to do more stuff with his story (as in write, art, etc.)

6. How do they make up/apologize after an argument?

Hmm let's see well. I think they'd argue like an old married couple, being about things like if the sun is yellow or orange that kinda bs(it's yellow guys) . So ofc those don't need apologizing but for the real fights, I'd think one of them would initiate the talking after each of them simmer down from their anger no matter how much time it takes. Likely Army bc Alohas kinda giving holding nonsensical grudges until he realizes that stuffs worthless

18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick?

OH MY GOD YALL

So for Aloha: Army is an actual babysitter. He checks alohas temperature practically every five seconds and cooks some warm soup for him, making sure hes resting cuz the guy could do anything at any given moment. Army turns away for one second and suddenly there's confetti and glitter all over the room

Army: ok first of all Aloha can't make soup. Probably mixes up salt and sugar on the regular. However I'd say he's fairly good at making sure army gets the rest he needs, making sure he doesn't overwork himself and stuff, and just keeping him company

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method effective?

I think in either of their personalities, they help each other see the rational side of things-- it's really easy for either of them to overexaggerate worries or events, so most of the time some reassuring words and perspective from the other would subdue it to a fine degree

This is mostly based on a headcanon of mine that army's a gigantic worrywart but that's ok

49. Do they keep secrets from each other?

Oooh we're sticking our pickaxes deeper in the cavern huh

Well if you look at it from the octoling army hc perspective..i suppose so but only for a while. Like he revealed himself and Aloha was chill about it

But otherwise I don't think so. Alohas probably the biggest open book ever and is the biggest gossip. I bet his own secrets occasionally slip through

But if not...I wonder the angst potential of that👁️👁️

Army just seems like the honesty valuing type--he doesnt mind if Aloha reads his manuals and he doesn't care about leaving his cell phone out on the table, knowing aloha wouldn't do anything threatening with it

If they kept any secrets it'd likely be surprise parties from Alohas side lol

If im honest really (as a fan of enstars since EN first release and have caught up with a few JP events except for like the super recent ones), I found most of the event stories and main story stuff uninteresting or just overall a headache to go through. Most of the time (through both official and fan translated) they would get me shaking my head asking "what the heck is going on??",or the story drags around that it feels both frustrating and just too boring for my brain to be able focus even, and just as I thought its gotta get better they will usually have some lame conclusion monologue going on that either my monkey brain is unintellectual to understand what's going or maybe its the writers are like that idk Im happy to see the pretty cgs though.

I would very much rather have someone summarize the stories to me even if it sacrifice for inaccuracies and biases. Ok here's an example, Antique Legends? The only thing I remember from the story is the fun interactions within Hokuto and his dad, which may be due to my bias with Hokuto but really that was the only truly entertaining part to me.

Speaking of characters I really don't care about character depth at all all I wanna see is them being cute in those little idol stories cause idol stories (yes I mean those short stories that are mostly like one - two chapter long) and scout stories are really what I look forward to the most personally cause they aren't over the top complicated or draggy like event stories and main stories, its not to say they are boring no in fact they are way more entertaining cause they make things that may seem so simple and mundane to something fun and also I love seeing them in wacky events too.

Also yes I did mention being a HokutoP though I would say I'm more of an overall drama clubP with other characters I like such as Aira and Naruchan (love calling her that personally) (and also I love every character in their many uniqueness and to be fair its just the bias demons that posses me). Now what do these guys have to do with this post? well to bring point that I know absolutely nothing about their 'complex sides' other than that they are sweet angels to me and I love seeing them in cute and funny situations, and guess what I still appreciate seeing them and hell I own a Wataru nui (planning to get a hokke one too soon) because even though yaydadad the whole war thing and his 'masks' I personally find him super fun even if I'm aware that he may just be putting on an act (plus I also have a mini white party dress for him that I make him wear whenever I went to anything fancy like my when I went to see my cousin perform on a orchestra concert).

To bring my final point I personally think that enstars best strength or interest for me is the idol / scout stories because even with their cookie cutter like surface layer personalities they manage to even be more memorable and overall fun to read. Oh and stories aside I adore most of the cards although they get bland sometimes and most of the songs are pretty good in my opinion love trickster songs muah. Anyhow thats just how I feel like enjoying the game and to be fair I prefer to enjoy it alone rather than to have a mutual around cause ye I'm that those type people who enjoy being alone and find a lot of people to be a waste of a space personally, well I have a lot in my mind currently as per usual but they most aren't enstars related so for now imma really stop myself here right now though I may come back here for more confessions idk depends on me I guess (I will also be surprised if you read through this entire thing and if you do thank you and may God bless you my good friend).

i’ll be honest, a lot of the stuff i write is inspired by scenes in shows, or movies, or games, or other stuff like stemming to literal paintings to actual everyday people.

as an example, when i was developing ohdh, it was heavily inspired by midsommar. not the whole may queen, swedish cult hogus bogus, but more so how the main character dani copes with her trauma.

i also find a lot of inspiration in nothing.

i’ll walk into church when i am forced to go, see the murals on the walls and then the little podium thing where the priest stands, combine that with what happens in honkai star rail update 2.2, and go, Yep. Backshots here. and confiteor was made.

i wrote a wuwa fic based on shrek. so.

i finished the foxian tales event finally & i liked it even tho it took 4 years off my life span. moreover, possession is a canon thing for the heliobus, and i always love a good little ‘im not really in control of my body right now’ moment.

but the entire possession and make out concept was actually torn off of the cult of chucky sort of, if you’ve seen that movie. in a nutshell, chucky takes over the main characters body in some sort of ritual, and then chucky, as a woman now, goes out to meet tiffany valentine (his lover) and they’re basically lesbians. sort of.

i do it for fun. i like mixing stuff i like with my writing because it makes it more enjoyable for me!!

Ok I NEED to tell you this Bapsiddy idea my friend had (technically he didn't mean for it to be Bapsiddy, but it can so imma make it that.)

So we know that Bap's parents died when he was young and omnics attacked and all that sad stuff, yea? Imagine he didn't get to really experience Halloween because of it, or not at an age where he could remember it as an adult.

But so Cassidy catches wind of it. And what does this lover boy do? He buys Baptiste a whole ass pirate costume for Halloween. And Bap is absolutely GLOWING when he tries it on bc he's finally experiencing something he missed out on.

Imagine how fun that would be at the Halloween party.

God I think this fits so well with them, because despite everything Cassidy has gone through, he has been able to experience some things from his child hood, specifically because of his relationship with Pharah. I also like to think he would make the costume instead of just buying it, one, because I think that would be something he'd do, and two, I think Halloween would be an emotional time for him because of Reyes. So Cassidy making costumes would be somewhat therapeutic to him.

I would also like to bring up the point of Baptiste absolutely gushing about the costume. Whether Cole made it or not. Just running around the party having the time of his life and someone asks him about his costume and he very excitedly says that Cassidy made/bought it for him.

I also like to picture this as a pre-relationship event. Cause the idea of Angela hearing about this then teasing Cassidy for how down bad he is, is very entertaining to me.
