'you say that like that's supposed to make it better!' the fact that she only fucking found out about it because xaden hadn't shut her out completely made all of this that much worse. neither of them had told her to her face, and violet did not take that well. she needed to hear these things from the people involved, directly. "right, but i feel way less conflicted about hitting you back now that you remember, im, so try it but it won't just be me with a broken nose this time." honestly if imogen wanted to have a moment, she was welcome to it, but violet wasn't going to let this just go. "i am aware, but gods, it was worse." she shrugged. "it's kinda had to just forget about it, imogen."

"oh great," imogen rolled their eyes at the other, scoffing slightly. all she wanted to do was forget what had happened, but apparently they weren't going to be that lucky - especially not around violet. "do you want me to punch you again?" she asked, raising a brow at her friend. "I'm always a bitch, you should know this by now," they paused. "I just want to forget about all of that, okay?"

'alright, you cannot just murder everyone i could potentially flirt with, and you should wait until we know for sure that one of them is the one who turned before you're just angry at them.' they didn't know for sure that it was one of their closest friends, it could easily be any rider, right? though, xaden remembered feeling betrayed, it would be odd for it to be anyone but one of their family. "i'm still not taking that armor off." she added, even if her father in law wasn't going to try and kill again, she wasn't taking any risks. "but speaking of people trying to kill one of us.. do we need to talk about the dragon sized elephant in the room?"

'i'm already debating killing garrick and bodhi, if one of them is the idiot who turned, so feel free to date one, it'll go about as well as you think it will.' xaden's tone is amused, negating most of the threat, but really, the idea is there is one of them is his new 'brother'. he sighs, running a hand through his hair as he presses violet closer against him. the idea of his father stabbing her so aggressively that the knife had bent... fuck. "well you did, that's all that matters. he's not going to try it again."

"you're okay, i feel like it's been forever since we've seen each other, so i'm more impressed that you did remember." she was going to deal with so much shit from her as soon as she remembered, knowing that she was what? taken out by that fucking baby's curse? her fucking squad leader? she's never living it down. "oh yeah, of course, feel free. i'm sure it's around here somewhere."

"cool, i was hoping i remembered that right." she grins, hoping that she was making an okay impression on her... friend? situationship? girlfriend? whatever andy was, her sister. "damn, that's fine. i think i left my phone here last night, do you mind if i just take a look? we were mostly just in andy's room, i won't be long."

"... rutabaga." sella knew that natasha was probably saying it for a reason, and saying the first word that came to mind just because she wanted to be a little difficult was probably not the best way to behave around her agent... but honestly! natasha needed to laugh a little more often, so of course sella was gonna try to diffuse the tense situation she could feel building. "yeah, yeah mom, you don't have to worry about me." she didn't want her mom to keep being nervous about her safety if she could help calm her. with everything being so uncertain all the time, sella wanted to make sure she did her best to keep herself safe. "it definitely seems like something we just have to wait out, i doubt us messing with him will go over well.. especially if it doesn't work? he's going to be annoyed with us and not know us."

"I'm just glad you're okay," she sighed. knowing that sella was okay had another weight lifted off her shoulders. "I don't know how to solve the issue of sheev not knowing us, I think it's probably best to just leave him to his own devices until his memories come back, I don't need him hating me more than he does,"

"you could have pulled back a little," vesta huffed as they held their chin up towards samara, letting them press the towel under their nose. usually they could handle their own injuries, but their head was ringing a little after samara's saber hilt went right into the bridge of her nose. it wasn't as if they wanted her to take it too easy, but still, this kriffing sucked.

"ha, yeah, pass." vesta rolled their eyes, having noticed the person trailing them a few blocks back and she was going to let them think they had caught her off guard. which, honestly, it was working until some loser popped up like they were her knight in shining armor. and honestly, sensing her presence in the force, that must be exactly what she thought.
