shaking the zhen and chameleon and zhen and han dynamics. it could have been so. AUGH. i keep rotating them to the point where i made a fill-in-the-blanks sort of concept to their whole thing.

ok in my personal headcanon zhen's bio parents were probably part of han's criminal group. thick as thieves (ha). they have a kid. which... isn't ideal since they're active in the criminal underworld, but it ain't han's business unless it actively impedes on their whole thing.

and then zhen's parents are killed off by whatever made chameleon rule juniper city. and now its han's business since he Acquired Baby after a set of circumstances that make him feel obligated to take care of her. then something something canon events happen. zhen tries to steal from the chameleon. the chameleon keeps her. zhen never comes back to her first family.

i feel like chameleon is spiteful enough to sic zhen on han and his group (both to teach the group a lesson and to test zhen). so that adds fuel to the fire. han is heartbroken, there's a callback to the Rules Of The Street (he got hurt! and no one cares about his feelings), he tries to keep his band of thieves together.

(as a sidebar. but you know what. as much as i love han being a pangolin. in this concept i think it would've been cleaner/jumped through less hoops if he was a fox. of course, this adds another sense of complication if she refers to another fox as just an 'old mentor', but zhen's already an unreliable narrator as she is so that actually adds layers if played right. plus its a bit of a knife twist to have your estranged daughter just refer to you as a near stranger.)

I think I saw that take about Alkaid on Twitter/X and I guess it's deleted now. I don't know if op is being satire or what but my mind that time was like- "are we playing the same game bruv?" 😭

Mans so polite with others and that makes him distant with everyone except mc. I also remember describing himself as a lonely person before mc came along. Him politely rejecting & turning down other people's vday gifts. I remember watching a vid about his design notes and basically his charm points are his warmth, dedication, and introversion. The fashion designer(?) also tells an important note about him is that, he's far more dedicated than the average person. Also in the alternate universes, he's pretty much loner and prefer to keep himself before mc came along. Mans also so bashful & awkward when mc flirts with him.

In short, alkaid is not THAT kind of person because like you said, it doesn't match his personality at all and it's really ooc 💀

Ngl I got a whiplash when I saw that take because as a player of for all time for three years now, it's hard to imagine alkaid as that type of person bc like i said, he's not..... like that...

No, not an odd question at all!! Don't worry anon, I love answering questions about them. More than life itself. Thank you so much, u have no idea how happy this makes me LMAO SO! Roo and Red are like, THE Roo ship. I went over this a little in the other ask I just answered, but basically, Roo only exists in underfell based universes. She doesn't exist in underswap, outertale, etc. but she does exist in swapfell, outerfell, etc. I'm thinking she originates from underfell. So her and Red are the original Roo x whoever ship. Theres some canon lore there n shit, but we're focusing on Roo and Red! Putting it simply: They're friends with benefits who are in love, and incredibly afraid of being in love, so they stay delusional and toxic instead :) Which is why I say 'stay toxic' so much in regards to their relationship. They're both emotionally scared, damaged people, who are in love but are afraid to express love out of the fear they might die. I don't think they're afraid that the other will kill them, but it's more just the fear and banishment of any emotional vulnerability in underfell. They don't want to get attached, and yet they are, so they're both in denial. To end this long ask, I'll say, I DO NOT CONDONE this behavior, it is not healthy and not to be romanticized. I've written their relationship this way, and other relationships this way, because it helps me work through my own issues caused by toxic, harmful, and traumatizing situations like this.
