Toothpaste companies must really hate people who are allergic to mint toothpaste, which a lot of people are! Apparently it's NOT supposed to burn like minty hellfire? (I'm fine with mint candy, it's only mint toothpaste that hurts)

I've been using Tom's fennel for years, but am now trying to find one with fluoride in it, and finding a toothpaste that is no mint and yes fluoride should not be such a huge and infuriating quest. still got some more grocery stores to search, but not even the children's toothpaste in the nearest one had any that were suitable.

Also, I think it might technically be a sensitivity rather than an allergy, but whatever it is, toothpaste is not supposed to hurt! If it's burning then that's bad and you should try to find a new one if possible!

it's easy to forget now that literal dozens of youtubers have made careers out of dissecting every conceivable aspect of Elden Ring's lore, but one of the funniest moments in any Fromsoft game ever was going into ER completely blind at launch and being told that you can meet with "the Two Fingers" after some point in the story, and you think okay, so obviously they're referring to two human people who have a role in the religion of this world referred to as "fingers" because there's five of them total i guess? oh Miyazaki and GRRM, you two are so kooky sometimes. and then the door finally opens and you walk in there and are confronted by two giant literal fingers with knuckle hair and all

Three Lesters and a Crest. The third one is based on a conversation I had with a fellow short king Lester truther, and we made the fun lil hc that Percy's shirt was actually big on Lester, but since he's so used to loose drapery as clothing he's like "ah yes, this fits perfectly :D"

When it comes to Bart and Kon and their association with Kansas you definitely hear sunflowers coming up a bit in writing or art, but what about the Western Meadowlark??? The state bird (which is also the state bird in 5 other states)! There's gotta be something there.

I was thinking about how i'd joked before about blond anime dragkings in the 90s having been a death sentence. But honestly there's only so many of those, and seemingly fewer and fewer in modern series... Where as the archetype that came about at the same time that really did get me down bad for the next decade+ was the tan skin, red (often messy) hair, big girl/muscle girl/sword girl/athlete. (with optional tomboy or feral personality)

(I'll admit a few of these I remembered differently in my head --either I remembered their skin being darker or hair being redder-- than what turned up once I started googling, but a few are definitely a conflict of in-game sprites vs official art, or having a more noticeably darker skin tone compared to the other characters in their respective show/game, but more light skinned looking on their own)
