I love that they are so similar.
It's really common to find partners who are similar to parents or family members because people are attracted to what's familiar.
SO, I love that not only are Bob and Jimmy Junior similarly awkward and passionate, but they have similar voices!! They have the same voice actor so Jimmy Junior even sounds like a young Bob.
If Tina and Jimmy Junior got married, JJu and Bob would struggle to relate at first but would eventually bond over their unsupportive Dad's. Then, they would support each other whole heartedly. Tina and JJu are visiting the restaurant for Christmas. She has the kids in tow. She realizes she doesn't see JJu anywhere. Where is he? He and Bob are drinking beer and hugging and JJu is showing him his favorite dance and Bob is explaining his burger of the day. Tina realizes she has married her Dad. Louise makes fun of her for it until someone points out her spouse is wine drunk and singing bad karaoke with Linda.

the evolution of the ackles’ pt1 !
⤷ hi everyone! thank you for 1000 subs i really like making these videos and i’m glad y’all like them too. without further ado, here’s our beautiful couple growing over the years together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✭ clip one : 2008   “ coworkers or dating ? „
“yes, thank you for your question.” jensen smiles at the girl who asked the question before facing the opposite direction for another question, jared doing the same.
“hi, i’m such a big fan, and i’ve been watching supernatural since it came out, and um, so my question is on the really long days on set— because i saw jared say it can go on ‘till two and four in the morning, what do you do to pass the time between scenes?”
jared and jensen both smile at the genuine question before the older one comes up with an idea, “i’ll answer for him, he’s always calling genevieve!” the crowd laughs, but it’s mostly ‘awe’s’ and jared can’t even complain as he shrugs nonchalantly, he’s not gonna deny the truth.
“and i’ll answer for him, annoy our writers to no end.” jared chuckles at mostly the memories he has of jensen running in between takes to talk to you. not that he’ll actually say your name, he knows how much jensen values his privacy and the both of you aren’t public yet.
jensen shrugs with a smirk, knowing it’s true and having nothing else to add. what more does anyone need? he knocks on the writers trailer twice a day at least.
someone from the crowd, quite brave if you ask jensen, shouts your name and the whole room erupts in laughter and screams. he opens his mouth only to close it again with another shrug. “thank you for your question.” he addresses the girl and faces the other way.
✭ clip two : 2010   “ coworkers or dating ? „
“and, um, yeah, basically having that support on set, knowing that our voice matters i think is really important. i mean, i worked on other sets and i’ve heard from my friends sometimes how hard it can be when you— you know, when you’re not heard, and it’s not like that on supernatural. the writers are always happy to talk to me and jared and misha about anything and it’s helped us really trust them that now we don’t even really ask, we just know we’ll love whatever they say.” the interviewer smiles softly at jensen, nodding at every word. but she can’t help it, she knows it might get a little awkward if she asks but hey, the things you do for advertisement.
“and are there any specific writers that you enjoy working with?” jensen laughs, rubbing his hand down his beard before pointing at her with a ‘you got me’ look.
“i— uh, not particularly, they’re all great, jeremy and bob, margie and uh, yn. they’re all good people. and actually, recently, i think the last episode of season eight, right? yeah, she directed it.” the interviewer doesn’t even need to ask who he’s talking about as his eyes light up and he sits up a little straighter. “she’s really good at directing and she kept saying it was her first time but she had a really good eye with the cameras, and um, especially directing with such a big set is hard she had to watch five cameras. but anyway, it was an overall great day actually, and i think you’ll enjoy the episode when it comes out.”
“yeah? well, we can’t wait to see it.” she faces the camera, “and don’t forget to tune in to supernatural every saturday at 8 pm est, this is cordelia with jensen ackles,” she faces the actor again, “thank you jensen.”
he stands up from the chair to shake her hand with a polite ‘thank you’ before walking off.
✭ clip three : 2011   “ coworkers or situationship ? „
“on another episode of jared and jensen not working on set, we have jared,” misha, who’s behind the camera points it at the taller man, currently stuffing his face with gummy bears, “and jensen.” then points it to the older actor and, would you look at that, he’s smiling at his phone. “not working on set.”
jared looks up at him with a friendly glare, “yeah ‘cause we’re having lunch,” he holds up the gummy bears as if that’s all the evidence in the world, and really, what more would you need? “what are you doing not working, huh?”
misha doesn’t answer, and his face isn’t visible from behind the camera, but it’s not hard to tell that he’s giving jared an angry expression. so the camera pans back to jensen texting as misha takes slow deliberate steps, trying to to disturb him so he can capture what he’s doing on his phone but half way through jensen holds his hand up, dismissing misha without even looking away from his phone.
“what do you want?”
“what are you doing?”
“nothing.” and it’s back to texting. misha sighs, walking away with a curse at his two co-stars, but it’s fairly obvious the next words out of jared’s mouth in the background are, ‘is that her?’
✭ clip four : 2011   “ coworkers or idiots in love ? „
the interviewer says your name, loud and clear through the speakers as you walk down the long hall of chairs. you smile, waving at the entire crowd before you reach rob and richard, greeting each of with a hug, then jeremy. you, jeremy and andrew are the main writers, and executive producers, and so you’re the only ones on the table so far, until they bring out jared, who sits next to you, then jensen, misha, and mark.
the questions seem nice enough, they’re pointed mostly to the four actors and you don’t mind one bit, you’re only here because you have to be, this isn’t the part of the industry to strive to be known for.
until someone asks about charlie’s death.
“so my question is for jeremy, andrew and yn, but um, i would like the rest of the cast to also give your reactions to it. so my question is, considering that women have often been used to further the plot of male characters: why was the decision made to kill charlie and dump her in a bathtub—” jared works quickly to move his chair in the opposite direction, looking up at the huge screen as the other three cast members do the same, giving their back to the audience.
but jensen only moves his chair back so he can rest his legs on the table, and he’s looking at you. it takes a second before they go back to their place and you clear your throat before answering, “i had the same question for andrew when he came up with it.” you smile politely up at your coworker and he laugh, as well as everyone else in the room. oh, if only they knew how much of a joke you’re takin’ this.
“yeah, uh, no, in all seriousness—” and he goes on a ten minute bullshit tangent about how this is supernatural and everyone in it dies one way or another.
and then jensen speaks up, “and correct me if i’m wrong, but charlie was supposed to be a one off character anyway, right?” you bite your lips to stop the profanities as you nod for andrew. but you only do it out of obligation, he’s staring right at you. but you won’t defend something you were so clearly against in the writers room.
the question passes wistfully after that and you’re sure it’s thanks to jensen’s input, like somehow the second he talks everyone in the crowd calms down.
the clip cuts from him staring st you as you thank the girl, to the two of you standing next to each other once the panel is over, hugging, then he leans down to whisper something in your ear that makes you laugh and the entire crowd applauds harder.
✭ clip five : 2011   “ causal or confirmed ? „
“it’s the last question!” rob sings, the music flowing in the background. “oh, it’s the last question.” jensen takes the nervous girl’s hand to sit her down on his chair while he sings with rob, jared leaning down to hug and comfort her.
“oh, last question!” he says with a final breath and as rob’s asking the girl what the question is, jensen is panting and asking for a minute. after he’s done, she finally gets to speak, even if her voice is a little shaken up. jared keeps a hand on her shoulder the entire time.
“so, um, what’s your favorite part of the new set because you said you changed it recently? the location.” jared hugs the poor quivering girl with a reassuring nod.
“yeah, yeah we did. great question! basically everything is the same, we didn’t change our trailers or anything— but i think the directors and writers got bigger ones, huh, rob.” he says pointedly at his friend who sucks in a breath with a shrug that makes the crowd erupt with laughter. “but nothing too special, but because it’s a new season we got so many new people on the set so really my favorite part is all the new memories we got to make.”
everyone claps for jared before he hands the mic back to jensen (on the video a small text bubble in the corner reads : he broke his mic a couple of minutes ago in case you’re wondering why they’re using the same one).
“yeah, i like jared’s answer, the memories we made this season were special to me and i, uh, actually,” he clears his throat, “i was just talking to my girlfriend, about this, yn, she uh—”
he doesn’t get far into that sentence before its screams and whistles through the entire venue. he chuckles a little, taking a step back from the chair. he knew he’d get this reaction, he didn’t expect anything less, even if he hasn’t exactly been hiding you.
“yeah, she, she’s great, and we were talking about this season and that its probably the one where we had the most new people on and it was a lot of laughs and fun, we got to see the musical episode, thank god we didn’t actually sing, but yeah, obviously that episode was a fun one to film.” he smiles down at the girl. “so yeah, great question, thank you.” he says goodbye before the screen goes black.
✭ clip six : 2012   “ honeymoon phase „
your scream is the first thing blasting through the video as you jump into the water, fully emerging the phone with you and you wave at it befor finally getting back up. just as you’re about to take your breath, someone lands next to you and you can’t control your laugh.
you swim over to the wooden stairs to sit down before you change the camera to the back one and jensen can be seen getting out of the water, looking around for you.
the camera’s back on your face. “hi everyone, this is our honeymoon where jensen thought he’d get a relaxing week with his new wife but i have been anything but relaxing, and um, send your prayers for him, okay? okay!” you squeal the last part out as you’re back in the water and it’s safe to assume that’s jensen’s doing.
Tumblr media
⤷ alright guys that’s all for part one, but it’s still a long way to go in the ackles’ beautiful story, press here for part two !

My heart hurts for many different reasons.
1. Not related to series: people calling Jes homophobic because of his acting methods during NC scenes. He said he drank. Not that he was wasted, Jesus christ, but he drank to have courage. The dude went from thumb kissing to a$$ biting. Sorry that he needs a little push, okay? As if anyone could do better than him. Tf they are questioning the acting method of a very popular, well-known, very successful actor. Didn't know that they were Oscar winning actors themselves. It makes my blood boil.
2. Bible losing his sh*t as well. They made him say things that he didn't even want to share. Like WTF. But Maan, him getting finally angry and taking it out was hot. I'm happy that he had the courage to voice his thoughts.
3. Jes and Bible being unhinged babes. I'm ready to go to war for them. Respect the actors and their acting method and, as a viewer, criticize their acting and result, not the method, especially when we are just viewers, people, viewers. Who tf gives us the right to question the method of acting of actors? Our job is to see results. If we want to start criticizing then let's go and win Oscars or start being in the production team or I don't know, be in the same industry as them.
4. They flirted in front of our salad. Kids...
About 4 minutes.
This:
Tumblr media
Do I even need to talk about this??? Great, never forgot this. Omg, I can't believe that they made us stupid for 6 episodes.
This:
Tumblr media
Greats idea of Tyme is same. Big brother, kind, safe zone, taking care of him, playing with him.
Kill me now.
P.S.
Just to put it out there:
Some actors who performed under the influence of ALC: Margot Robbie, Nicolas Cage, Billy Bob Thornton, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Fred Astaire, The Beatles, Jack Nicholson, Robert Shaw, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis during their NC scene, Robert Pattinson.
Now give me my bottle of red wine. I can't copy with all angst.

I really don’t mean this to sound rude at all but like…
What is the point of having celebrity voice actors or guest-stars if it means you either:
1. Can never have another episode or plot line with that character
Or
2. Have to replace the celebrity voice actor with an actual voice actor for all future appearances???
It’s one thing if it’s like. A one time character or cameo. That sort of thing works for shows like Bob’s Burgers, which is extremely episodic, or if it’s for a character that is only relevant for one episode, and isn’t going to make future appearances.
But for characters that have plot-relevance, or that you want to showcase a lot…well…what’s the point?? It’s maybe ONE thing if you do have a really huge budget, but indie shows doing this seems really counter-intuitive.
What was really the point of having Norman Reedus voice Striker if they couldn’t afford to bring him back? Especially when Edward Bosco who has taken over the roll could have done an absolutely wonderful job with striker from the beginning?
I’m not asking this to say that Norman Reedus did a bad job. He’s a very talented actor, but the only reason to have him come on the show seems to be for clout? Which is really bizarre to me.
It reminds me of when Steven Universe had Nicki Minaj on the show as Sugilite. I LOVE Sugilite, and I think Nicki did a fantastic job voicing her, but I can’t help but wonder if we’d have gotten more of her if a voice actress had been hired to play her.
I’d like to see more of Bee, but the likelihood of her ever showing up again is very little, unless they get someone else to voice her.
Same thing with the new celebrity VAs they have slated for future HB episodes. And yes, it is very cool to have John Waters voice a character for you. But I wonder if he’ll ever be a part of the story or main cast, or if he’ll come in and we’ll just never see his character again.
It makes me think of when an animated movie comes out and all the trailers have long lists of A list celebrities who are in the movie, but don’t really showcase the story or animation.
HB having celebrity voice actors never feels like they chose the VA because they were the best person for the job. It comes off as getting celebrities to drum up hype and pull in more viewers. Which I mean. You can do! That’s fine.
But it may mean that we’ll either never see those characters in speaking rolls again, or that they’ll have to bring in a less expensive VA after the fact for all future appearances.
And if that’s the case then. Again, what’s the real point???

I hope you enjoyed chasing those windmills 😁
I have read that Jared and Jensen are repped by different agencies, Jared is with UTA and Jensen is with Gersh.
How do these agencies rank in Hollywood and what criteria does an actor usually use to choose which agency to work with?
Also, Jared appears to have one rep. (Jason Heyman) and Jensen has three (Alexander Yarosh, Bob Gersh, and Leslie Seibert). Does it mean anything that Jensen has more reps?
I know nothing about how these agencies work (obviously) but am interested to know what the difference is.
I found this information on IMDb Pro, I can’t figure out how to link it I’m sorry.
Those windmills turn out to be faster than they look. Who knew.
The "Big Three of Hollywood” talent agencies are :
Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The biggest and most influential agency in town known for their A-listers and sports clients. Recently bought ICM, an agency mostly known for representing high-tier showrunners/writers like Shona Rhimes, so they're known for (sometimes infamous) packaging bundle. Many agents have left CAA to go to UTA.
William Morris Endeavor (WME). A merge between two agencies in 2009 created another powerhouse agency and upped their game in events management.
United Talent Agency (UTA). Probably the most adaptable agency that includes news broadcasters and comedy clients. UTA likes to boast they represent the "most watched and celebrated actors in film and television".
The 4th position (X) is a battlefield of competing mid-size agencies looking to possible merge: Gersh Agency, A3 Artists Agency, Paradigm Talent Agency, Agency for Performing Arts (APA), and Verge Agency. Then there are the boutique agencies.
Actors choose the agencies based on the work they want to do i.e. commercials, modeling, or television/movies. Some boutique agencies specialize in children actors so there are age ranges to consider. Talents send in submissions of headshots, resume, and cover letters. As an actor grow, they move to bigger agencies, usually with submissions. In-demand actors generally don't send submissions to the Big Three Agencies, the agencies go to them.
Jared was originally represented by CAA and Jensen was originally represented by WME.
Jared's agent, Jason Heyman, was poached by UTA during a "midnight raid" in 2015 through 2019 and Jared decided to go iwth him to UTA while Melissa McCarthy stayed behind with CAA.  Heyman went from a high post at CAA to a partnership at UTA, so for him it’s a promotion.
Jensen either left or was dropped by WME and he signed onto Gersh in 2014, who also represents Danneel. This was probably the best move for him because at WME he was always given to newbie agents (basically interns) to handle his career.
Actors can be repped by more than one agent or agencies in order to handle their brand in different markets as well as minimizing conflict of interests.  I’ve known actors who had 3 agents: one for voice work, another for commercial work, and a third for tv/film - maybe that's why Jensen has 3 representatives in one agency?   Then there are actors with just 1 agent for the same things but in different markets, maybe that's why Jared has 1 agent that we know of.

My fellow neurodivergent Bob’s Burgers fanatics, I am BEGGING you to watch The Great North. It’s by the same creators, and it’s another wholesome comedy about a very clearly neurodivergent family who genuinely love and care about each other.
There’s a single dad (Nick offerman), three sons, (will forte, Paul rust, and aparna nancherla), a daughter, (Jenny Slate), and a daughter in law (dulce Sloan), and they all live in a small town in Alaska.
It was originally just a, “I want to watch more bobs burgers but I’m out of episodes” show, but I have genuinely fallen in love with it (I’m stoned and I have a lot of feelings). I honestly might like it more than Bob’s Burgers (although this is mostly just decided by whichever show I’m watching at the time lmao).
And there are multiple Native characters, voiced by Native actors, and an openly queer main character in a happy relationship who is loved and supported by literally every other character! There’s literally an episode where he goes on this crazy quest to find someone he can come out to who can give him a “satisfyingly dramatic” coming out experience, because everyone he ever came out to just said they loved and accepted him unconditionally. Plus multiple other canonically queer recurring characters!
Please guys, check it out. I want a million more seasons.

I think oliver shipping buddie is true honestly. I'm new to the fandom so I don't really know if he's always been like this but we can't really ignore how he seems to only be sharing stuff that's buddie like the bachelor party cut scenes from last week and then the popcorn scene last night.
maybe he is. maybe oliver is the biggest b*ddie shipper. maybe he secretly has a tumblr and an ao3. maybe he's sending tim texts and leaving voice messages and mailing handwritten letters begging him to do b*ddie
or maybe he ships them in the same way a lot if people do, that he sees the potential but doesn't actually want the show to go there
or maybe he just likes filming with his bestie and showing those off
we don't know, and more importantly, it doesn't matter. other actors have shipped their characters together, and even hoped their characters would end up together. doesn't mean they did.
(there's also my other theory, that I have absolutely 0 evidence for, that as someone who's left SM before because of the behaviour of fans, he saw the shit the BoBs were saying in the comments on the official show posts and bucktommy, and just doesn't feel like getting those on his personal page. he enjoys his scenes with ryan, no one is gonna call him a traitor if he posts them, let's stick with those)

So @strawberry-daiquiris wrote an incredible F1 Traitors AU (seriously, go read it) and was kind enough to let me paddle around in the Galex end of the pool.
Many thanks to @latecomersprivilege, for whom this is a belated birthday gift, an almost on time Valentine's gift, and ultimately not what she asked for but what she's getting!
It’s a month since the last episode aired and George hasn’t messaged him.
Oh, he’s in the group chat - he’s the admin of the group chat. He’s posting memes, even the ones about himself, nearly every day. Asking very sincerely after people’s partners, their kids. Adding little crying laughing emojis to almost all the jokes. (Almost all - never Alex’s. Not even once. Which. Come on. Checo’s not even that funny.)
So. Yeah, it’d been bad, at the end, at their last round table together, George damp eyed and smiling through it and Alex nearly fumbling his own defence trying to tell him one more time “it’s just a game”.
But. Like. Not so bad as to cancel out everything else. Or at least, Alex had thought so. Hoped so.
It’s been a month.
Hey just wondering if we shd have a coffee or smthg? Clear the air?
Sure. When?
Nxt wk? Peckham?
(George told him all about his little flat in Dulwich, how he properly loved all the twee village-y shit like the wooden sign-posts and bougie cafes, in their murmured conversations in the hotel corridors, heads ducked together and voices low. Alex had taken the piss, but so softly he’d barely recognised his own cadence. That- that had been the first clue, before he’d started noticing how George’s adams apple bobbed when he got loud.
But Dulwich is packed to the brim with Traitors fans, has to be, all middle class mums and families that gather round the telly of an evening to actually spend time together. They’d be spotted in seconds. So Peckham feels safer, crowded and anonymous and too fucking cool to pay attention if Alex has to get on his knees and beg George to- to-)
The cafe’s still a bit posh, which means it’s basically deserted. George is wearing the kind of T-shirt that only fits that well because it’s expensive.
He’s ordered tea already, and Alex wants to remind him to drink up, like he did at breakfast every morning, because George would always get too into their conversation to finish before it got cold. He’d slug it back anyway, wincing, and Alex would pretend to ignore the line of his throat.
“I’m sorry you didn’t win,” George blurts. “I know I- I didn’t help, I know, but after, I did want it to be you. You’d worked so hard.”
Alex stares at him. “I never thought I would. Maybe near the end, a bit, but. Well. I got lucky.”
George pulls a face. “Come on, you were brilliant at it. So convincing. I really thought I’d find out you were, like, an actor or something.”
George smiles at that, small and tight. “Oh, yeah, the office have been so weird about it. Saying they didn't watch, and then making jokes that prove they did. I've stopped paying attention to it.”
Alex tries to laugh, like it’s a joke. Like he hadn’t talked George’s ear off about the practice. How he’d use the money, if they won - as Faithful - to get back to his veterinary degree, properly qualify. “Nah, still at my old place. They’ve, uh, let me take the backroom stuff for a bit, while it dies down.”
Alex nods. Pretends George has got better at lying. “Hope they're not being nasty.”
“Oh, not too bad.” The ‘too’ makes Alex want to snarl, set his teeth in someone's neck. Bastards. And George's blasé tone runs a little thin as he goes on. “Might quit, actually, try the influencer thing for a bit. It's basically the same as sales, just, you know. Different product.”
“You'd be good at that,” Alex tries. “Influential. I'd be, uh, influenced.” In the time it takes George to blink three times, Alex experiences all nine levels of hell and a few more added just for him.
I'd be influenced. Christ.
“How are you doing with that, sponsorships and stuff?” George asks and Alex shrugs. He’s got his fans, the ones who think he was robbed, rather than bottled it. His Insta’s big, now, not millions but, like, decent. Marketable. Problem is, he isn’t.
“Turns out, being known as a really good liar doesn’t get loads of hashtag spon ops,” he says, trying to keep it light. Like money hadn’t been the whole point. George’s face falls, the first unrehearsed expression Alex has seen all morning.
“Oh crikey, I’m sorry, I didn’t- cause it’s been alright, and I was a traitor too, at the end so-”
“Yeah, but I forced you into it, didn’t I? I’m the bad guy.” There’s a decent TikTok edit of him to that Billie Eilish song, all his smiles and laughs and fond looks, set to the beat of sociopathy. It’s very slick; turned his stomach on the second watch. “Plus, you know, you look like that, which probably helps.”
He knows it’s been more than alright for George. He hasn’t liked any of his Instagram posts, too… proud? ashamed? But he’s seen them all, including the Stories, so George must know he’s been there. Or maybe he doesn’t, maybe there’s hundreds of people, and they’re not mutuals, he remembers abruptly. George didn’t follow him back.
He flips his phone in his hands, once, twice; worries at the crack in the screen down by the bottom right corner, just enough to feel the scrape against the pad of his thumb.
George notices, of course. Those big blue eyes, all the better for spotting clues. Terrible at knowing what they meant. “Do you wanna take a picture for insta then? Show people it’s all water under the bridge?”
“Uh, not really? I mean…” it doesn’t feel under the bridge, or air cleared. Alex still feels like he’s choking on it.
That small wrinkle he used to make fun of appears between George’s brows. “Wasn’t that the point of this?”
“Jesus, no, I’m not-” Alex feels sick, properly sick, hot chocolate coming back on him for a second. “I wanted to be friends - I want to be friends. Again.”
“Again,” George repeats, after a beat.
Alex swallows. Presses the tip of his tongue against the edge of his front teeth, where they turn sharp enough to cut, like a bit of pain now will soothe the sucking void where his stomach used to be. “Right, no, of course. Forget it, look, I'll get these and-”
George catches his wrist before he can make a break for it. His thumb lands in the soft spot between the tendons, where Alex’s pulse beats - ha - traitorously fast.
“Wait. You haven't told me how your mum is. And your sisters. And Luca, obviously, and the cats.”
“The cats?”
“Yeah, obviously. Can't go before I hear about the cats, ‘Lex. All of them. So you should probably, um, sit back down.”
So he does.

Genuinely going to have to start unfollowing oldies blogs who are hyping up timmy as bob dylan I mean how do you look at THIS
Tumblr media
And think "Omg he looks great!! I'm so excited!!" He looks like a rich kid at an art school larping as one of the poors. Looking at this gives me the same feeling I had when I first heard Chris Pratt's voice as Mario. Like, he is here because he's popular and sells tickets not because it makes ANY FUCKING SENSE.
This needed to be an unknown actor. If I can't look at him and see Bob then I need to at least NOT SEE FUCKING TIMOTHEE CHALAMET WEARING A 1930S HOBO COSTUME

Some thoughts I had while playing Psychonauts 2 for the first time that I wanted to write down somewhere because I cant just keep info dumping to my dad. :]
Spoilers, duh
TL;DR this is my new favorite video game :D
I cringed so much through the whole process of turning Hollis into a gambling addict, I know Raz is just a kid and that they make up afterwards, but its so hard for me to play a video game and the character you play as does something I'd never do.
the music that plays in Hollis' Hotstreak reminds me of something from The Incredibles for some reason. Side note, I ADORE both PN1 and PN2's soundtracks and I do listen to them just as background noise. my favorites are all the circus tracks, Meat Circus, Flea Circus, Aquato Family Caravan
Me first hearing the main bad guys name was Maligula at the beginning of the game: "haha, Maligula kinda sounds like Amygdala, the part of the brain that controls emotions, especially fear! I sure love all the punny names in this game! I'm sure this will have nothing to do with this characters lore!"
In my head video games and film are kind of in separate categories, so hearing Jack Black and Elijah Wood, very prolific film actors voicing characters in this seemingly random video game was kinda jarring. I know now that Jack Black is friends with the creators of PN and has acted in other double fine games, buts its still kinda weird to me. (I still liked them tho)
In the Psi-Kings Sensorium, Helmut says "My Bobby" about Bob and my immediate thought was "something a little fruitys going on here" and then later on they show Bob and Helmuts marriage and stuff and I was like "oh something a LOT fruitys going on here". I think I was just so prepared for any kind of relationship for Bob and Helmut to have to be only subtext that I forgot this game came out in 2021 and they could show gay if they wanted to.
Psi pops are definitely sour grape and green apple flavored and dream fluffs are little condensed balls of cotton candy.
In hindsight, Gristol was totally trying to mail his own body to himself for safe keeping, but also he was the only mail worker so how did he think the package was going to get him? he didn't know he was going to get an intern and its not like he could walk down to the mail room as Truman without blowing his cover. My mans did NOT think this through.
The conversation Raz has with Dion is really sad and stuff, but when you're idling around Dion one of the things he says is "look at me and my psychic goggles!" and I literally laughed out loud when I heard that.
"Hey why do all these lice have little signs lol" "Lucy those were peaceful protesters!" "OH, UH OH."
I really loved Comptons Cookoff! it was way different from all the other regular old platformer levels, and I'm a sucker for timed cooking games. I only wish that you could replay the actual game show part in the collective unconscious.
In Cassie's Collection there are all the little paper fairy tale characters right? Well two of them, Shakespeare and a dragon, are played by the same actors who played Snorpy and Chandlo in bugsnax, so hearing the paper characters talk I was like "hey, I know those guys!"
Its a little pet peeve of mine when a character in any media is supposed to come from a specific country and they don't have that country's accent. Obviously Grulovia isn't a real place, but Nona has a nondescript eastern European accent, so why wouldn't the other Grulovian characters? I guess Augustus could have trained it out of himself or something, but Gristol? As much as I like Elijah Wood as Gristol, he's the gzesarevich and loves his country! there's no way he would train himself out of the grulovian accent. I've heard some other people say Gruman has an accent when Maligula was released but eh, I don't hear it all that much.
While finishing the game I (only!) shed a tear three times, once when Maligula was holding Marona's dead body, once when Raz got his junior Psychonaut badge, and once when the credits starting rolling.
i think Cosmic I and Welcome to my Mind are going to be stuck in my head for weeks.

Today, on November 10th, 1978 - Queen Story!
"Jazz" album released in the UK
👉 The seventh studio album
➡️ 12/12/1978 - Circus Magazine
🔸In praise of ‘JAZZ’
The boys conjure up a bizarre junket by Mark Mehler
On Bourbon Street, in the heart of New Orleans’ fabled French Quarter, the sign reads, “Bob Harrington-Chaplain of Bourbon Street.” Upstairs, the freelance minister administers to the wicked minions below, while across the street, the Hotsy Totsy lounge features naked women parading across an oak bar from dawn to dusk, and next door, the “X-rated Shop” specializes in scatological posters and joy sticks.
This is Freddie Mercury’s favourite American city, where the Mississippi ends its majestic flow and zealots with big dreams fight a losing battle against hustlers, procurers, and all purveyors of sleaze. It is Freddie Mercury’s favourite city because the lead singer and bucktoothed front man of Queen is, above all, an actor. And in New Orleans, anyone can be anyone they want to be. Tonight, October 31, 1978-Halloween-Freddie Mercury and Queen have flown in 80 reporters from the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Japan, to see a show and be a part of a show at the same time. The third concert on Queen’s 28-city U.S. tour is in the ornate Civic Auditorium. Above the stage are listed the names of the mighty: Shakespeare, Michelangelo, Cellini, Durer, Gounod. Out of the soft blue and green lights and smoke, Freddie Mercury struts like a rooster, striking ballet poses, under an astral guitar blare that neatly skirts the sharp edges of rock & roll. The melodies are undistinguished, but the constant tempo changes of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Will Rock You”, keep an audience awake for nearly two hours of uninterrupted music. The lighting show is one of rock’s most ambitious. Eerie purple lights shine out over the heads of the audience, making their hair seem cloudlike and inanimate. At the midpoint of the show, a smaller stage is lowered from the ceiling and 400 lamps meld into the sheer white plane of curtain light. Freddie is a whirling dervish, dominating every corner of the stage.
Some people call this song ‘Spread Your Legs’, he tells the audience, introducing ‘Spread Your Wings’. “And I like it that way”.
Starting out in black sequins, he comes out for the first encore bedecked in orange hot pants, dancing around like Peter Pan. For the second encore he’s wearing a revealing, white body stocking. As he wails ‘We Are The Champions’, his voice warbles with mock emotion, and he grasps the microphone for support. At the apex of the triumphant denouement, the top executives of Elektra Records, who have sat smiling throughout the show, arise as one and walk out. Moments later, the show closes with a taping of ‘God Save The Queen’. Body and soul spent, Freddie ambles off stage, drained and spark-less. But Halloween night in New Orleans has just begun.
Back in the ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel, over 400 people have gathered to await Queen and much on a sumptuous table of hors d’oeuvres, such as Oysters Rockfeller and Shrimp Creole. A Dixieland band plays uninspired jazz jingles, until, shortly before midnight, the Olympia Brass band comes marching through the hall accompanied by Queen-the mercurial Mercury, the winsome Brian May, the puckish John Deacon, the velvety Roger Taylor. Suddenly, like a giant circus orchestrated by a deranged ringmaster, a legion of strippers, vulgar fat-bottomed dancers, snake charmers, drag queens, and bizarrely festooned revellers, begin to strut their stuff before the assembled masses. Freddie Mercury is besieged by hungry autograph seekers, groupies and fame-worshippers. People begin shielding their clothes, as an ever-imaginative photographer snaps Freddie signing the bare backside of a willowy transvestite. Freddie begins sucking on his giant overbite nervously, and by 2 a.m., he is mercifully gone. Brian May, who seems to be the true organizer of the night’s carnival, is cornered by persistent Japanese newshounds. “It’s wonderful,” he keeps saying. “It’s so nice to be back.” As the evening wears on, epicene men and butch women act out charades of power that would have embarrassed Hemingway. Three obese black women in g-strings do a pathetic bump and grind, and another female participant amuses a small gaggle of onlookers by putting a cigarette in an unlikely place. People leave to check out the scene on Bourbon Street and drift back to the party like cigar smoke. At 4 a.m., a Queen security guard, haggard and irritable, inquires when it will all be over. “Queen wants the naked disco dancers going to dawn,” informs his partner. And it does. The following day, Queen reappears at a press conference at Brennan’s, one of the French Quarter’s most elegant restaurants. Again, it is Roger Taylor and Brian May who dominate the conversation, as Freddie Mercury seems vaguely preoccupied. The subject of all this is ‘Jazz’, Queen’s new album, which contains no jazz. “People think we take ourselves a lot more seriously than we actually do,” says Roger Taylor. ‘Jazz’, Queen’s reunion with former producer Roy Thomas Baker, offers ‘Mustapha’, an up-tempo Hebrew rocker; ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’, a song that owes a lot to Pure Prairie League’s ‘Amie’; and more indulgent rhapsodies like ‘Jealousy’ and ‘Bicycle Race’, with its topical references to Star Wars, Jaws, and Superman. The ad campaign, like everything about the Band, goes to the limit of good taste: 11 bare-chested, major-league-yabboed women racing bicycles.
“It’s cheeky”, admits Freddie, “naughty, but not lewd. Certain stores, you know, won’t run our poster. I guess some people don’t like to look at nude ladies.”
Freddie, 32, was born in Zanzibar and educated in India, and was a childhood table tennis and hockey prodigy. He studied art and became a graphic designer and illustrator, having given up piano lessons in the fourth grade. But he continued singing, fronting his first band at 14 and forming Queen with Roger and Brian in 1970. After the routine easy grilling, Mercury is cornered outside. “You seem to be removed from the character up on stage. Is that really you?”
“No,” says Freddie, “of course it’s an act.”
He denies pandering to gays; or for that matter, to anyone. He hints at a quiet, restless man who needs to step outside of himself for ego-stimulation.
“I have fun wearing all those costumes,” he says. “I can really cut loose up there”.
Freddie is then swiftly ushered out, and again, Brian May is left behind to field the endless questions of the Japanese. The two-day junket, painstakingly directed by and for Queen, ends with a few straggling journalists eating Bananas Foster and being more cynical than usual. Outside, on Bourbon Street, a folk singer entertains an empty house of red velour seats, affirming that a falling tree makes a sound whether it’s heard or not. Which conjures up something Brian May had said about Queen constantly seeking “direct communication with our audience.” For all the words that describe Queen’s trip to New Orleans, direct is surely not one.

Arthur (inception)
character taste test
warning: nsfw (x gn reader)
okay I watched the movie and read like 2 fanfics so far on ao3. but what's worse is that this happened while I was on my periods and I was going feral and I think I imprinted on Arthur and Eames??? ? but mostly Arthur for some reason cuz I had this weird dream of the actor before watching the film. like I have only seen him once in this random movie as background noise while I was on holidays but I still managed to dream abt him and it's terrifying.
this is going to be horny because that's what I'm feeling tonight. so buckle up, ladies.
Arthur.
The most memorable thing about him, to me, after his beautiful face and voice, is how he works. He's good at what he does. He's smart. He knows what the hell he's doing.
And maybe in some universe, I think he's also the same way in bed. When he's in a mood. I'd like to think he'd laugh and giggle a bit with his lover while they're making out and half naked, y'know. If they actually love each other and not just regular fuck buddies.
But then he'd try to wipe his smile away from his face, he'd wanna be serious about this, so he tries so hard to stop giggling so he can focus on opening his lover up on his fingers.
"Alright, that's enough. Let me do my job." He says, trying not to grin.
But also, what if he's extra moody, what if he's a bit mean? Then what?
Then Arthur would play his lover like a fucking guitar. He's not going to waste any time teasing them or anything, he's going to dive straight in, use his hands, mouth, cock, toys, whatever’s needed to reduce his darling to a whimpering, shaking, drooling mess.
And what if they cried a lil? Overstimulated and completely out of it while he still speaks to them in that gentle, yet stern voice? "Look at me. How do you feel? Can you tell me how you feel?"
He'd deffo wipe his lover's tears away while gently shushing them, will already have a box of tissues close by, wiping their face and giving them little kisses right after.
But also, I think he can be lazy in bed. You know, he's out there, doing jobs to get that bag so he can come back to his penthouse, sleep in for half of the day or more to recharge because he's just so fucking exhausted. And when he wakes up, he loves having his lover close so he can reach them, just pulling them in with his hand wrapped around their wrist.
And then he's going to give them slow, slow kisses, all over, while telling them how cute and lovely and beautiful they are, cupping their cheeks while they're sitting on his lap. And when he's done, he'll pull them in, whisper in their ear how he'd like to fuck them.
"Let me fuck you, honey."
He'd probably hug them close to his chest while they ride him, will buck his hips a couple of times, just touching them and groping them all over, practically just allowing himself to be used like a toy even though he asked to fuck them, he sure isn't doing much fucking. But it doesn't really matter because his lover is obsessed with his cock, just gasping and moaning while he's panting and whispering unintelligible words in their ears, maybe he's praising them for being perfect for him, maybe he's telling them how grateful he is to have such a wet tight little hole to fuck into waiting for him at home.
He cums with his head thrown back, eyes screwed shut and his Adams apple bobbing. Then his eyelids droop and he yawns, ready to go back to sleep, sweaty and sticky with cum. His loved one is still on top of him, his cock still buried inside them. And if they somehow haven't came as well, Arthur lays on his back and drags his lover with him, chest to chest, stomach to stomach and he reaches down their body, over the dip of their waist and the swell of their ass to reach their wet hole to shove his finger inside and make them cum against him.
When they cum for him, he gives them one kiss on the forehead, sucks his own fingers clean and goes straight back to sleep, all filthy, sticky and naked with no care in the world.
During those days, Arthur is lazy, allowing himself to just exist without having to worry about anything while he recharges to go back out there in the real world and risk his life for thousands of dollars so he afford a penthouse above the clouds and city.
a/n: that's all I have for now. how did I do? :))

My thoughts on the PuzzleVision Movie (SPOILERS):
Tumblr media
I’m kinda glad I waited a bit to get my thoughts on the Puzzlevision movie out there, as I got to let my thoughts sit a little, but I still think my current thoughts are mostly the same as my original thoughts:
The movie was neat. There was a lot of things I liked about it, like all the parodies, animation, and ESPECIALLY the villain song. But… I honestly think it’s kinda underwhelming for the finale of this storyline they started in early 2023. I guess I had big expectations since this confrontation with Mr. Puzzles was built up for 2 whole movies and a WOTFI. I Still think there are a lot of good qualities to it. But, unfortunately, I got a lot more to say about the negatives than the positives.
I was initially underwhelmed by Mr. Puzzle’s backstory, considering how long he’s been built up as a villain. At first the backstory of Puzzles being “He was a lonely kid who became a TV addict and eventually replaced his head with a TV” came of as sort of bland, cliche villain backstory that the writers came up with on the fly. Again, I feel like I felt that way because of what came before it. Stuff like the Eldritch Goo from IGBP, the Grand Door being opened shortly before the lead up to that movie, Puzzlevision originally owning the show grounds, and all of Puzzles’ powers made me think that there was going to be a bit more to his story. Like, how does just replacing his head with TV give him all the powers he has?? Now I think the backstory’s more alright though. The part with “Oh he was lonely and had no friends :(“ still comes off as super cliche to me, and the powers still don’t make sense, but the part about him replacing his face with a TV sort of drives home how unhinged he is under that smile. I have similar thoughts on his final goal, which to me basically came off as “oooh he wants to brainwash everyone and take over the world”. But at least the backstory wasn’t as confusing or convoluted as Niles’ backstory from Revelations.
One other thing I also didn’t like, and still don’t, was how Tari was presented. In Western Spaghetti she was built up to be a much braver person who was more ready to take down whoever messes with her friends. But in this movie she feels like a complete coward again, cowering in fear at the thought of Mr. Puzzles going to get them, and begging Meggy not to go through a scary obstacle course. Like, what was the whole point of going through that arc if she was gonna be super scared the next time a big villain shows up??? I feel like they just threw that character development that I loved so much away. Also, why would they introduce Clench right before the Puzzlevision takeover if he wasn’t going to play any role in it?????
I do like how everyone came together throughout the movie to escape Puzzles’ network though. Smg4 and 3 told Mario where to find them, Meggy and Tari found out how to escape the network, and Boopkins and Bob broke everyone out of their channels. I thought that part was pretty neat, and felt like a bunch of puzzle pieces falling into place (no pun intended). It’s also always nice seeing mario help out in some way, even though I wish his motives were more “I gotta save my friends” than “I wanna find the TV because I wanna watch TV”.
This is a next thing is more of a nitpick than anything. I love the animation change for the South Park section. But even though there’s a VA credited with the South Park characters in the credits, Cartman’s voice sounds a lot like an AI voice to me for some reason. They probably did use an actual voice actor for Cartman and the way they pitch shifted it made it sound weird, but if they actually used AI for Cartman, I don’t find that cool.
One last thing. I don’t even feel like this movie has much of an impact on SMG4 like IGBP. Like the only thing that changes is that Puzzles’ is dealt with, and he may or may not be dead; and he didn’t even have much of an effect on the normal episodes before if any. Other than that, no one really goes through any arc or gains any development. If anything, Tari lost development from Western spaghetti. It doesn’t really feel like anything changed, which is kinda weird considering the gang just defeated the main antagonist who’s been messing with them for a year. There wasn’t even a reveal on what’s behind that boarded up door or anything added to the show grounds.
Other than that, the movie was still neat. Just neat. That’s all I can really say. I know I’ve been kinda pessimistic here, but like I said, I had more to say one the negatives than positives. They just stick out more to me than most of the plot, which is really just the gang going through a bunch of parodies. Guess I set my expectations too high for this movie or something. Just remember these are all just my opinions and you can feel however you want about this movie.
Now, will I continue following SMG4 now that Mr. Puzzles is possibly gone for good? Honestly… I’m not sure. I’ve mainly been following SMG4 over the last year mainly because of Mr. Puzzles, and I’ve been planning to move away from it for ages. So depending on how the next few videos go, I may or may not stop following. I kinda like the idea of leaving SMG4 off where it’s kind of ambiguous if Mr. Puzzles is really dead or not. Even if I stop following SMG4, I’ll still make some make fan art every of it now and again. I just wish the possible final movie I watched was just more than just “neat”.

Robin (Mouthwashing Oc)
Tumblr media
Name: Robin Berger
Occupation: Chef
Headcannon Voice Actor: Dani Chambers
Sexuality: Straight
Ethnicity: African-American
Age: Same Age As Daisuke
Relatives: Jackson "Jack" Berger (father); Wendy Berger (mother); Margaret "Peggy" Berger (older sister); Carl Berger (older brother)
Personality: Next to Daisuke, she is the most optimistic crew member and really wants to make her dreams come true even if it takes a while. She has a friendly relationship with all the crew while being very wary of Jimmy who she never got close to. She tries to be chipper and jolly even in the perilous situation they were put in. However, when Jimmy gets more and more deranged that trait slowly deteriorates, especially after the deaths of Daisuke and Anya. Despite like everyone thinking it was Curly who caused the crash, she still believed it was an accident and didn't mean for any of this to happen. She is very knowledgeable about food despite her young age and takes her position as a chef seriously even if the supplies are less than stellar. She has a good work ethic and does her best to not slack off in the situation that they are in. She likes to play act with her food and talk to them like they were people.
Background: She grew up with a family who ran a diner and had a dreams of starting her own food truck, so she decided to join Pony Express to get extra money to make that happen. She was put on the Tuplar crew besides Daisuke despite the voyage originally being made for a crew of four. She grew to come close with the team (except Jimmy), especially Daisuke and Anya. However, things took a turn for the worse when the crew hit the Asteroid and everything went downhill.
* Favorite pokemon is Alcremie.
* She has autism.
* Good ending au would have had her and Daisuke get together and become a couple where they open her dream of opening of a food truck and he would be supporting her.
* She loves old music between the 50's to 00's.
* After Anya was assaulted by Jimmy, she made sure to be on alert for any signs that Jimmy was going near the younger woman because she feared he would make her his next target.
* She got along with everyone but Jimmy always gave her bad vibes.
* She was going to confess her feelings for Daisuke around the time he died and regrets she never did. And was devastated when Anya was found to have done suicide.
* Jimmy had thoughts of assaulting her too, but backed out against it because of how what happened to Anya led to her pregnancy and didn't want a repeat of that. And again Anya kept an eye out for him if he tried to pull anything on her.
* She remained ignorant about Anya's assault until Swansea admitted she told him and she got mad enough at Jimmy to attack him after he killed the man. This resulted in them having a skirmish in the kitchen and him admitting she would have been his next target if Anya wasn't looking over her and him not wanting to risk getting another woman pregnant. He then chokes her to death on the floor, while her final words cursing him for hurting everyone.
* Her family diner is called Berger Family.
* She wanted to have a family someday.
* She looked up to Anya since she reminded her of her sister. Likewise, Anya saw her as a little sister and wanted to protect her as much as she could from Jimmy's advances.
* Her favorite Disney Princess is Princess Tiana because she feels she shares the same profession and dreams like her. She still has love for Disney princesses and even Barbie.
* Red is her color theme.
* If the supplies weren't limited she would love to experiment more with food and try new ideas for her food truck.
* She has a lot of quirks based on Bob from Bob's Burgers.
* She and Daisuke would be like Bob and Linda from Bob's Burgers.
* Her favorite food are burgers, chocolate milkshakes, fries, cola, chocolate cake, and pancakes. Her speciality is diner food.
* She and Daisuke had interests in videogames, manga, anime, and American comics which they often chatted about on end.
* She knows diner lingo.
* Even though she and Daisuke came from different classes, they still jived together because they wanted to find a place in the world.

I dont mean to be rude, but why are you so against Henry being George? in the audition tapes "Betty" that you admit is probably patty, is seen interacting with George the whole time, in his tape, he only interacts with her too, and in the promo shots Louis is always with Ella, so what would be your explanation for that? I know we will know everything in exactly one month but I always see you saying that and it's been bothering me, im just really curious, could you explain?
Hey there, anon! No worries about being rude at all, I’m more than happy to explain and clarify! <3
So, it’s not really a matter of me being “against” Henry being George- it’s simply a matter of me thinking that the evidence doesn’t fully support him being George. It’s like. I’m not *against* the idea that dragons exist and are secretly living underground in cool dragon cities- hell, I’d love that! But I don’t see the evidence to support said underground dragons, and the same applies for George being Henry.
So, I’ve talked in a bunch of posts about why I don’t think that George is Henry, but I’m going to summarize the main reasons right here for you:
1.) The Ages
This collider article talked about TFS leaks & the fact that Patty had romantic feelings for George:
Tumblr media
And that article describes both Patty and George as being at least 14 years old.
And when we look at the audition tapes, we can see that Patty is at least 15 years old, because she mentions that the confession booth has been her hiding place for the past 15 years:
Tumblr media
However, Henry Creel is canonically 12 years old:
Tumblr media
And even if you don’t think that the newspapers are reliable/somehow think that’s a production error, THIS is not a 15 year old boy- even his actor was 12 at the time:
Tumblr media
So, this means that in order for Henry to be George, they’re either a.) going to do a romance between a 15+ year old girl and a 12 year old boy, which would be like S1 Nancy dating S1 Dustin for context & I think that’s extremely unlikely or b.) they’re retconning Henry’s canon age in the play/ignoring canon, which makes absolutely no sense and is extremely unlikely because the play has been confirmed repeatedly to be canon:
Tumblr media
So, unless they REALLY pull some timeline weirdness with Henry’s age, there’s not really any possible way for him to be George AND for the play to be canon- unless they have a 15+ year old dating a 12 year old, which I really don’t think they’ll do.
2.) The Personality
George is absolutely nothing like Henry personality- wise. Based on what we see in the audition tapes, George is snarky and opinionated, whereas Henry, as a child, is shy and silent.
George is a loner, much like Henry, but that also fits with Allen Munson (who we’ll come back to later), and being a loner also applies to characters like Hopper, and even Bob- being a loner isn’t something unique to Henry. Hell, even being a “pale, moody, new kid loner,” like the description from that Collider article isn’t unique to Henry. That could apply to both Allen and Lonnie.
George snarks about Betty being “prom queen,” and dramatically tells her “that’s your cue”- you have to watch the audition tapes to see/hear what I mean, but the way he speaks and the way his lines are written is such a far cry from Henry- hell, Henry doesn’t even talk that way/his dialogue isnt written that way when he’s giving a dramatic monologue in the show in 1979- and Henry as a child is silent every time we see him and doesn’t have any of the same mannerisms as George.
3.) The “Powers”
Something that people love to cite as evidence that George is Henry is the idea that George has powers based on some of his scenes in the auditions. However, those scenes are actually great evidence that George isn’t Henry, because when you watch those scenes, the way George describes what’s going on is polar opposite to the way Henry describes his powers & the way we see Henry’s powers working.
George, for example, talks about hearing voices in his head telling him to do bad things/hurt people- something that Henry never mentions, not even during his 1979 monologue. George also seems to be afraid of his supposed powers, whereas Henry seems to see them as something natural/as a tool/as part of him realizing that it was other people who were broken, not him.
I actually think that the voices that George is hearing are the result of that weird radio broadcast that’s supposedly killing people that’s mentioned in TFS. And I think that his experience with Patty/seemingly seeing eachother in the void/teleporting/whatever that was is far more likely to be tied to Patty having powers, especially with all of Patty’s El parallels (the scenes where Patty talks about her mother), and with how frequently articles about TFS talk about how important Patty is going to be to the plot:

So, again, it’s not a matter of “oh I really HATE the idea of Henry being George, so I’m going to pretend it’s not true even though it is,” it’s instead a matter of “if Henry is George, I’m fine with it, I’m just really not convinced that he Is George & am somewhat frustrated by people acting like it’s confirmed that he’s George when it’s not confirmed at all and when there’s multiple aspects of George that don’t align with Henry & contradict Henry’s canon lore such as the age stuff”
Also, I’ve never denied that Patty and Henry are going to have scenes together- I figured they’d have scenes together even before the audition tapes, because they have that parallel at the Crele house window vs the church window in the TFS animated teaser trailer! And Louis and Ella being together isn’t really something that I need to explain, because I’ve literally never denied that Henry and Patty are going to have scenes together & all of my analysis re: Henry and George and Patty has been done with the assumption that Henry and Patty are going to interact frequently regardless of who George is. Now, like I talked about in this post, regardless of whether Henry is George or not, I don’t think that Henry and Patty are going to be a romantic couple. My thing is that I simply don’t agree that it’s firm/clear-cut that Henry is George. Me not agreeing that Henry is George doesn’t mean that I think that Henry and Patty won’t interact- it simply means that I don’t think that the George that we saw in the leaked audition takes is Henry/I don’t think that George was the code name for Henry.
And to more specifically answer your question about the connection between George and Patty’s interacting mostly with eachother in the audition tapes vs Henry and Patty being put together in promo stuff:
First of all, the reason why Patty and George seem to “only” interact with eachother in the audition is because the scenes chosen for the audition happen to be with eachother- both of their auditions read the same two scenes, just different sides of it.
So, Patty could have 500 scenes with other characters and those two scenes could be the ONLY scenes she has with George in the whole play (I’m not saying that’s the truth, but just as a hyperbolic example), and we would have no idea because we’re only seeing the tiny tiny snippet scenes that were used for auditions.
Second of all, like I said earlier, Patty and Henry interacting frequently in the play is not news to me.
Like, I just don’t really see the firm link between the auditions and the promo stuff/I don’t see how that points to Henry being George. Patty and George interacting frequently and Patty and Henry interacting frequently doesn’t mean that Henry is George. It just means that Patty (as we know) is a core character who’s going to be interacting frequently with multiple characters.
Third of all, regardless of how often they put Patty and Henry together in promo stuff, and regardless of how often George and Patty interact in the audition tapes, that still doesn’t change all of the issues that don’t align with George being Henry (all of the stuff that I mentioned earlier), especially since the play has repeatedly been confirmed to be canon material & the Duffers have even been talking with the TFS team while writing S5 & making the TFS team change things so that everything aligns lore-wise:

So, all of the evidence that points to Henry not being George isn’t something that can just be overlooked because it’s a separate play/they aren’t just taking creative liberties with ages etc because it’s all canon & they’re working hard to make sure that it all lines up lore-wise with the show. And lore-wise, Henry is 12, which doesn’t line up with Patty’s age (based on her comments in the audition about how long she’s been hiding in the confession booth throughout her life), and also doesn’t align with George talking about prom and prom queen etc.
Hopefully this answers your questions, anon! :DD
It’s not a matter of me not wanting Henry to be George- it’s simply a matter of me not believing that he is George. I’m far more inclined to believe that Allen Munson is George, especially since the auditions didn’t use codenames for characters who aren’t brand-new characters (such as Hopper, his audition didn’t have a codename), so it wouldn’t make sense for them to use a code name for Henry. But it WOULD make sense for them to use a code name for Allen Munson, because he’s technically a new character, just like Patty.
If I seem particularly annoyed about the whole thing/about Henry supposedly being George, it’s not actually because I despise the idea- I’m annoyed a.) because the evidence doesnt support it and b.) because people are acting like it’s confirmed canon that Henry is George & trying to dunk on me for being wrong about him not being George when the reality is that it’s not confirmed whatsoever. The casting announcements didn’t give us ANY new information about who George was- all the casting did was tell us that Henry was going to be in the play- something we already knew! None of the code names have been revealed. There’s nothing in the casting that proves that George is Henry, and yet, for some reason, people are acting like it’s confirmed, which is where i get frustrated. I’m not even frustrated that people disagree with me, just frustrated that they’re acting like it’s concrete confirmed canon when it’s absolutely not.
Anyway, thank you again, anon! :DD If I seemed annoyed with you at all, I’m not, that’s just how i talk/I’m slightly frustrated with Other People acting like it’s 100000% confirmed that Henry is George.
