waiting until the second season opener to reveal that stolas terminally love-at-first-sighted that little motherfucker (I wish I was exaggerating or joking but no that shit was literally ON SIGHT), thus recontextualizing in one stroke everything about season 1, was an act of stunning emotional violence in storytelling that I may never recover from it's perfect

there's actually a brand new norwegian netflix drama about salmon CEOs that takes place on an island in central norway. everyone speaks trønder dialect. i actually had a lot of fun watching it

#it's called milliardærøya/billionaire island #and i cannot guarantee anyone else's enjoyment #it delighted Me for reasons that are difficult to convey #i think it's a decent drama! as far as norwegian productions go i think it has pretty good quality #everyone speaking in dialect helps the characters feel a lot more like real people to me #like i KNOW they speak bokmål in oslo but it just makes oslo people sound like tv demons to me #sorry oslo people
