Oh and Astrid being a normal eenager girl who clearly wants to survive ,Poppy being an anxious teen with a abandonment issues , Gundabale Earthauler being so stern and corned for her people to the point of lowkey cruelty but all of them clearly still having compassion ,Mirdania as a normal elf caught between two men and who speaks out for herself cause she knows her worth ,

I love how pro active the women of TRoP are and how integral they are to the plot. Each with her own distinct personality and motivations, they influence the events around them through their actions, big or small, in whatever capacity they can. Their struggles feel believable and their perseverance, despite the adversities, feels heartening.

Galadriel was single mindedly committed to her mission of hunting Sauron and while her hunch about danger looming over Middle Earth was eventually proven correct in end, she paid a price for her oversight whose consequences are going to be grave. Miriel took a risk as a leader by coming to the aid of the Southlands but wasn't exempt from casualties.Bronwyn, on her own, couldn't have won against the Orcs and she needed and obtained outside help for it but she did whatever was in her power to resist. Nori was pulled out of her simple life by the Stranger's arrival and understood that she's part of a bigger picture; she embraced it as an opportunity to learn and experience something new. Both Disa and Eärien, moulded by their environment and circumstances, have exhibited streaks of ambition in different degrees which will eventually manifest under different conditions.

All of them feel so.............real.
