Protest again human rights violations against the Sámi people in Fosen have moved to the Statkraft offices in Oslo.

Hit me up for recommendations of places where I must go, and especially if you want to meet. That would be FANTASTISKT.

For example anyone know what’s the easiest way to get to Kaggeholm Slott? Does anyone know what I can do for fun on my birthday in Stockholm?

I’m also going to Norway and Denmark, and if I have enough time, Finland. So I would love recommendations for places in each country too.

Going to Copenhagen with The Man this summer, any private room hostel recommendations? We’re leaning towards a private two sleeper capsule at The Downtown Hostel 🤞

Apparently the was a Nordic council that decided the Nordic countries should all celebrate Father's Day on the second Sunday in November. In Denmark the press and public was not made aware of that decision so they kept it at 5th of June as always

I’ve always juggled the idea of having a modern day AU where Hiccup speaks Spanish. I’m always debating on how to manipulate it though, whether to have him be raised by spanish-speaking guardians, or live next to spanish-speaking neighbors. Haven’t settled on what I’d want to use.

However, I was doing research for another fic, and I thought about the Nordic region. One of my best friends lives in Sweden, and I know she continuously refers to other Nordic countries. Sends me a handful of tiktoks pertaining to them too. But I realized I didn’t know how many there were. I knew there was at least Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Entonces I googled the full list of the Nordic countries. 

Came to see the others, and then Faroe Islands piqued my eye. Honed my search there. It’s described as a “self-governing ARCHIPELAGO”. Then continued by seeing what languages were spoken there. (insert me laughing deliriously) While Danish is the main language, they teach German, French, and SPANISH in elementary and secondary schools. 

And I’m like

I now have actual evidence what I want to do you guys. And it’s making me giddy. Hiccup speaking spanish here we come.
