So I knocked this idea about on HFTH fan discord, thought worth saying here, how great would it be If Nolan were to join the new Cross Roads Hotel with Polly and the gang?

He’s so alone now, the home and love within his reach stolen and twisted, he deserves to get that feeling back, join a proper family and I think the posse would be the perfect place to find it, he’s just the kind of lost soul they are looking for.

If Ricou tries to come drag him back you know Yaretzi and others will kick him to the curb

And as smarter people than I have pointed out on the server it’s so poetic that Nolan would join the renewed hotel he helped Ricou run away from, can show how better Polly will make it.

Plus Nolan being in a Bellhop suit would be adorable.

Ricou and Nolan!! I was actually really excited to draw these two, so i speed ran it (hence the grayscale). Look at Nolan!! doing his best to give his amused boyfriend flowers!! Look at Ricou’s smile! I love them sm.

Ricou: “I CAN’T DRAW PLANTS” is what i was screaming the entire time i was drawing this mf. He’s described as a fish-swamp creature that’s covered in plant life to the point it’s almost part of him--and i Can’t Draw Plants. I did my best though, with fronds growing out of his face and moss draping his shoulders. I tried to show off his ‘ridged’ skin with thin lines across his skin, but i think i’d need to render the drawing to properly show them off. There’s an angler-fish esque plant growing out of his forehead, and i tried to make it look like it was drawing in the fireflies :)

Nolan: Nolan is invisible, and i didn’t want to discredit that by just...drawing him. So i wanted to make it look like he was creating a void where he occupied space, but I’m not entirely sure i pulled it off. I was just going to remove colors from there entirely but the white of the empty canvas was wayyy too jarring :)

You know. I should probably queue my posts instead of posting them immediately. Eh, its not like i care ab a schedule so its fine lmao
