Pensavo fosse amore...invece era un calesse

Avevo questo drama nella mia lista da secoli, in virtù dei suoi tag: Forte protagonista femminile , Forte protagonista maschile , Contrabbando di droga , Amnesia , Droga , Amico- nemico , Fratelli giurati , Morte , Amici degli amanti , Vendetta.

Grazie ei suoi poster belli aggressivi:

e al trailer super adrenalinico ed ad alta tensione. Con il voto su Mydramalist di 8.5 a certificare che potesse davvero essere un mezzo capolavoro.

Ed infine la trama come ciliegina sulla torta:

Liu Zi Guang (William Chan) è un giovane ragazzo educato e buono come il pane, che un giorno vede suo padre morire per mano di uno spacciatore, lasciandolo solo al mondo. Devastato dalla perdita e senza più nulla che lo legasse alla città, parte alla volta della Città M alla ricerca di un nuovo lavoro. Lì incontra Nie Wan Feng, ne diventa amico e più tardi fratello giurato.

Con questo nuovo rapporto, Nie Wan rivela al suo nuovo fratellino il suo sogno più grande, che lo ha spinto a venire alla Città M: diventare il Pablo Escobar della Cina. Soldi, potere, donne... con la droga si può diventare ricchi sfondati.

Liu Zi ovviamente non partecipa alla gioia di questa rivelazione, poiché in lizza per la Santità fan della giustizia e della verità e poiché mira a diventare ed essere, una brava persona. sai no, il cittadino modello.

Tuttavia Nie Wan fa orecchie da mercante e riesce a farsi assumere nel gruppo di un narcotrafficante che governa la città, trascinandosi appresso pure Liu Zi. Nei successivi 4 anni, Liu Zi, completamente contrario alla droga e al narcotraffico, proverà a scappare in tutti i modi, venendo catturato, malmenato, sparato ed infine chiuso in una gabbia di 2 metri per 3 con solo un buco altezza occhi per far passare l'aria.

Ma Liu Zi è così fenomeno che anche rinchiuso, guardando dal buco della serratura sopracitata, riesce ad imparare le mosse di combattimento, a smontare, rimontare e usare una pistola e mettendo al contempo su 12 Kg di muscoli.

Il tormento finisce dopo 4 anni, ossia quando Nie Wan uccide il capo dei narcotrafficanti e ne prende il posto, diventando il capoccia di tutti e liberando così suo fratello.

Liu Zi , salutato Nie Wan, torna nella città M e finisce a lavorare in un pub gestito da un poliziotto sotto copertura, mandato lì, proprio per arrestare i narcotrafficanti. Scoperto che il suo nuovo lavoratore conosce Nie Wan, il poliziotto compie uno dei casi di manipolazione mentale più hardcore che io abbia mai visto:

facendo leva sul desiderio di Liu Zi per una società giusta e buona, sulla disgrazia della droga, sulla sua santità, su quanto è brutta la Cina con questi criminali che rovinano la gente, rispedisce Liu Zi da Nie Wan come informatore.

In pratica manda a morire Liu Zi aggratis per un lavoro che doveva fare lui. Perché spoiler ( nessuno sapeva che Liu Zi era l'informatore del poliziotto. Manco la polizia. Così se Liu Zi crepava, nessuno lo sarebbe andato a cercare.)

Per essere ancor più vantaggioso, gli mostra anche la figlia lasciata a casa, ipotizzando magari anche una loro relazione futura... signore, il sensale doveva fare, non il poliziotto!

Figlia che lui ha dato al suo migliore amico e poliziotto anch'esso, chiedendogli di crescerla al suo posto poiché troppo pericoloso il lavoro di poliziotto sotto copertura. Così, la donzella, all'alba dei suoi 27 anni, ancora non sa che i suoi genitori non sono veramente quelli biologici.

Liu Zi intanto, novello informatore, torna dal fratello che lo accoglie a braccia aperte e gli dona metà del suo impero della droga. Nei 4 anni successivi, il lead darà informazioni su Nie Wan al poliziotto, giocando sul filo sottilissimo del tradimento e della spia, sempre con il terrore di venire beccato.

E beccato, viene beccato! Nie Wan scopre che il tipo del pub è un poliziotto e poichè sa che lui e Liu Zi sono amici e sospetta il tradimento, manda Liu Zi ad ucciderlo. Omicidio che il Nostro compie spoiler: cosa che ho sempre negato vista la palese love story con la figlia di sto tipo e che riporta il sereno nella relazione tra i due fratelli. Ma che brucia però, l'unica persona che sapeva che Liu Zi era un infiltrato. Lo dicevo io che era una cazzata!

Serenità che viene però interrotta quando, in una operazione assieme a tutti i signori della droga (tranne Nie Wan) arriva la polizia per arrestarli. Liu Zi si salva buttandosi a mare e andando alla deriva per giorni...

Ripescato sulla spiaggia privo di sensi, si scopre che è privo anche di un altra cosa: di memoria.

Il suo ultimo ricordo risale a 8 anni prima, quando morì il padre e andò alla città M per cercare lavoro. E adesso? Liu Zi scoprirà cosa ha combinato in quegli otto anni? e soprattutto, ne sarà felice? ne dubito

Alzi la mano chi come me ha pensato che la memoria gli sarebbe tornata ad una certa... ma solo quella di lui come narcotrafficante, come una cattiva persona, dimenticandosi invece del suo ruolo come informatore.

Vagando per la città disorientato, salva un bambino da dei rapitori - ovviamente la Santità deve esser praticata quotidianamente - ed è qui che incontra la protagonista femminile, Hu Rong, poliziotta che giustamente lo arresta perché crede che sia uno dei rapitori del bambino pure lui.

Portato in centrale e messo sotto interrogatorio, Liu Zi rivelerà quello che gli ha detto anche il dottore alla spiaggia: non ha memoria degli ultimi 8 anni e non è un rapitore. Ha salvato il bambino come atto di bontà quotidiana e fine.

Ma la lead non gli crede - nonostante lo porti a fare una TAC completa che certifica scientificamente questa perdita di memoria - e giura che scoprirà " tutti i segreti" che Liu Zi nasconde.

Hu Rong scoprirà che Liu Zi era un narcotrafficante? che gli ha ucciso il padre? che in realtà era un informatore?

Dai, non è figo?!

Intrighi, tranelli, quella tensione e paura di essere scoperti...e poi ancora doppiogioco e segreti. Io ci vado a nozze con questa roba.

Certo, c'è una pecca che sin dall'inizio mi ha frenato dall'iniziare la serie: le 47 puntate. Sapete quante sono 47 puntate e di quanto si può allungare il brodo con 47 puntate?! Ed infatti, come avevo ipotizzato il drama è super annacquato. Ma andiamo con ordine:

Se dovessi concentrare la mia opinione di questa serie in una frase direi: è come andare a vedere al cinema un film che aspettavi da mesi e mesi e poi in sala ti mettono 40 minuti di pubblicità ed il film tanto atteso in realtà si rivela un corto di 3 minuti.

Perché effettivamente dal 3 al 40 episodio la trama sopracitata quasi sparisce. Quaranta e passa episodi di Liu Zi che ricostruisce la sua vita, ritrova i suoi amici e li rimette sulla buona strada, cambia 5 volte lavoro, apre ditte, risolve i casini degli amici, si dedica al servizio civile, conosce gente, cattura cattivi insieme alla polizia, si fidanza...ma della trama orizzontale non vi è quasi traccia. Per circa 40 episodi.

Che poi, non è male quello che accade. E' anche carino vedere le relazioni tra i personaggi, la bromance e il restauro dell'esistenza del protagonista. Vengono presentati personaggi interessanti e simpatici - ho amato la second lead ed il capitano Han - e vengono portate in campo tematiche anche piacevoli.

Ma non è questo, quello "per cui ho pagato." Dei tag detti sopra non vi è traccia in questi 40 episodi e per quanto sia bellino questa specie di "slice of life", dove è finita la tensione e l'eccitazione prevista? Il "nemici- amici"?

Non potevano mischiare le cose? farci vedere la vita di Liu Zi e al contempo portare avanti la trama orizzontale?!

Inoltre, per arrivare ai 47 episodi, ci hanno messo di mezzo pure i flashback. Una marea di flashback che mi hanno costretta ad usare il tasto "avanti veloce" più e più volte. Tra le scene già viste e straviste e le scenette delle problematiche degli amici di Li Ziu, mi sono skippata metà serie.

E che le mie parole non siano una completa cazzata, viene certificato da due elementi: il primo riguarda il trailer. TUTTE le scene del trailer provengono dai primi 2 episodi e dagli ultimi 8. Guarda un po'! Sono maligna io o persino la serie sapeva bene quali carte giocare?! Chissà perché nel trailer non ci sono i personaggi secondari o nemmeno una scena dalla parte centrale della serie...

Il secondo elemento ce lo dice Nie Wan che dopo aver passato 40 episodi - e non scherzo - seduto al buio a commentare le azioni di Liu Zi decide, per gli ultimi 8 episodi, di fare qualcosa e movimentare almeno lui un po' le cose, facendoci tornare alla trama orizzontale e concludendo il drama. Grazie Nie Wan.

Gli ultimi 8 episodi poi sono strani:

prima di tutto, sono super frettolosi. Giustamente, tutto quello di cui non hanno parlato fino a mo' deve cicciare fuori adesso. Una informazione dietro l'altra senza dare alla polizia manco il tempo di razionalizzare tutto.

Noi spettatori invece non abbiamo bisogno di assorbire queste scoperte sulla vita del lead negli 8 anni precedenti poiché già le sappiamo. Togliendoci così ogni possibilità di sentirci parte dell'investigazione. Quanto sarebbe stato bello se la serie fosse iniziata con il lead senza memoria e noi e lui avessimo scoperto le cose assieme? Ed invece no. Semplici spettatori di una storia che sappiamo già.

Questa frettolosità si riflette appunto sulla reazione dei personaggi che non fanno manco in tempo a mostrare in volto la loro sorpresa o sconvolgimento: la notizia che il narcotrafficante sia Nie Wan e non Liu Zi, la scoperta che il primo abbia incastrato il secondo e che abbia una fedina penale da serial killer, viene buttata sul tavolo e dopo 2 secondi siamo già all'argomento successivo.

Niente pathos, niente tensione. Questa serie infatti ha il record mio personale di essere l'unico drama con genere "thriller, azione, romantico" visto fino a mo' a non avermi mai fatto sentire in ansia o nervosa.

In pratica, semmai volessi rivedermi questa serie, vedrei le prime due puntate e poi volerei direttamente al 40 episodio.

Andando ai personaggi, salvo solo i secondari ed un po' Liu Zi. Quest'ultimo grazie alla recitazione superba di Willam Chan capace di passare da ragazzotto ingenuo e spensierato a pazzo fuori di testa fino a uomo cazzuto e deciso nell'arco di poche scene. Gli episodi dove crede di essere davvero un narcotrafficante sono un capolavoro recitativo. E' stato bravissimo.

Liu Zi viene poi caratterizzato come un Santo. Seriamente, credo che partecipi a una specie di gara a chi fa più azioni positive per vincere un posto in Paradiso. Non solo è buono e gentile con chiunque ma si farebbe ammazzare per le altre persone. Aiuta le vecchie ad attraversare la strada, dona il sangue, rischia la vita per proteggere la fidanzata poliziotta, salva bambini, aiuta la polizia... un martire praticamente.

Ed infatti è super noioso. Ho amato la parte come infiltrato tra i narcotrafficanti poiché mostrava un Li Ziu che sì faceva la cosa giusta aiutando la polizia ma al contempo lavorava con la droga ed i narcotrafficanti. Era un contrasto interessante. Soprattutto in relazione al suo rapporto con Nie Wan: erano amici e fratelli ma al contempo Liu Zi tradiva la sua fiducia vendendo informazioni alla polizia.

Poi, senza memoria, diviene il Santo Protettore degli Innocenti, Amici e Fidanzata e perde tutto il mio interesse, mostrando un lead buono, dolce e sacrificale fino alla morte.

Quando la recupera invece va fuori di testa - sono gli episodi migliori quelli - combattuto tra la memoria che gli dice che è una cattiva persona e il sapere invece di essere una persona buona. Questo è il contrasto che volevo vedere e che ho amato.

I personaggi secondari sono stati carini anche, soprattutto i second lead. La second parte come ragazzina viziata e appiccicosa ma evolve durante la serie, dimostrando di esser diventata una persona matura. Il Capitano Han invece, mi è piaciuto per la sua calma e compostezza. Compiva dei ragionamenti intelligenti dimostrando di essere anche una persona con una certa sagacia. Peccato che la serie abbia deciso di ucciderlo in un modo atroce, solo per il gusto di alzare la quota dei morti. E farmi odiare ancora di più la lead.

Ohhhhh la lead.

Grazie a Hu Rong ho la mia vincitrice nella categoria della lead peggiore per il quiz di fine anno.

Cosa dire di lei? è dappertutto. Non c'è situazione che la polizia debba risolvere che non sia realizzabile solo e unicamente da lei. Nonostante sia parte di una squadra, i suoi compagni hanno la rilevanza di un fermaporte, perché tanto qualsiasi cosa, c'è Hu Rong.

La serie si è così impegnata a renderla super importante e cazzuta che persino i delinquenti la chiamano " la poliziotta coraggiosa". mado' il cringe Ci sono queste scene dove il drama la spamma in ogni modo che hanno contribuito a farmela odiare ad un livello da galera.

Essendo poi la figlia biologica del poliziotto infiltrato e al contempo figlia del Capo della Polizia e del Vicesindaco della città, la stazione di polizia è il suo regno: tutti la conoscono e la venerano, lasciando da parte protocolli, ordini e gerarchie appena lei è presente.

Irrompe nelle riunioni, non rispetta gli ordini del suo capitano, se ne sbatte delle gerarchie. Mai nessuno che la metta in punizione quando sbaglia o le dia note di demerito. Sia mai!! La principessa potrebbe soffrirne.

Ad un certo punto, le permettono pure di stare nella squadra d'investigazione che sta indagando sul suo futuro marito. Perché d'altronde, i sentimenti personali cosa vuoi che siano di fronte ad un indagine?! E la cosa assurda è che manco indaga. Sta lì con loro, con la faccia depressa e piangente ma in realtà fa solo numero.

A questa scrittura per me terribile di una protagonista, si aggiunge la sua relazione con Li Ziu;

L'intento delle serie era mostrare come per un poliziotto, non importa quanto amore ci sia verso l'altra persona, la giustizia deve sempre venire prima di tutto.

Per tutto il drama assistiamo a Hu Rong che inciucia con Li Ziu, si innamora di lui ma è sempre pronta a portarlo in centrale al minimo sospetto di sgarro. Ed è qui il problema.

Come dice chiaramente il Capitano Han, Li Zu lo conoscono tutti come un bravo ragazzo e si fidano di lui. Ma al contempo, se ci sono dei sospetti, devono investigare. Anche per mitigare qualsiasi dubbio.

Ed invece la lead di dubbi non ne ha.

Quando arresta il suo fidanzato per la morte di quel narcotrafficante da quattro soldi, lo fa piangendo disperata. Piange anche durante l'interrogatorio e di fronte a Li Ziu che nega il suo coinvolgimento e le chiede se almeno lei si fida di lui, lei rimane in silenzio. Piangendo. Tanto che Liu Zi se ne va arrabbiatissimo.

E' giusto che lei faccia il suo lavoro. Ma non è giusto che non abbia nemmeno il minimo dubbio che la situazione non sia come appare. Conoscendo poi il suo ragazzo. E futuro marito.

Idem con il finale. Dove Hu Rong rimane accanto a Liu Zi mentre lui sclera malissimo per il sospetto che sia una persona cattiva e lei NON GLI DICE NULLA. Non gli dice che indagheranno ma si fida di lui perché lo conosce e sa che non farebbe una cosa così, ad esempio.

Anzi, lei inizialmente scappa. E' il padre che le ricorda che l'uomo che presumibilmente ama e che deve sposare, sta vivendo una crisi mentale dolorosa e che lei dovrebbe stargli accanto. Ma sembra che gli stia vicina perché deve e non perché crede in lui e nella sua innocenza.

Qualcuno obietterà: eh ma lei è una poliziotta e se le prove portano tutte a credere che Liu Zi sia cattivo allora lei deve attenersi a quelle.

E allora perché il resto della stazione di polizia non ha creduto alle prove ed infatti poi scoprono che erano tutte una montatura? Perché degli " estranei" si sono fidati di Liu Zi, sul fatto che fosse un bravo ragazzo e non lo ha fatto invece la sua ragazza?

Come posso fare il tifo e innamorarmi di una relazione così??!!!

Hu Rong poi, è per me, una poliziotta terribile. Oltre quanto detto sopra, è impulsiva, testarda, piena di preconcetti e non ha mai dimostrato grandi doti investigative. Certo, è bravissima nell'infiltrarsi e nel menare le mani. Ma oltre a questo poco c'è.

Concludendo: Mi aspettavo una serie totalmente diversa da quanto poi effettivamente visto. Il drama per me è interessante e valido negli episodi iniziali e negli ultimi finali, in relazione a quanto mi era stato promesso. Con il fatto di sapere già tutta la storia, non c'è manco la suspance se non quella di scoprire come i personaggi prenderanno le rivelazioni una volta che verranno fuori. La recitazione è buona, soprattutto quella di William Chan ma la scrittura sia dei personaggi sia della storia potrebbe essere fatta molto meglio.

I'm a bit late at posting this here on my tumblr, but here is episode 2 part 1 of the Lego Monkie Kid Eclipse Apprentice series!

I'm sorry that this one took a long time to make ;; I recently got married and had to deal with the stressors that come with wedding planning, and then I immediately moved with my husband to a new place, and the voice of Macaque was wrapping up some education stuff on their end. We both got busy, but also were both very happy and blessed by all of the hype and love this project was receiving. It was very motivating, but above all us, this love wouldn't have been received if not for the talented artistry and story-telling that @journeytomonkiekid puts into their comic.

You know what, THIS is probably why the best fics with this trope has the character who has seen the most shit go back in time.

My favorite time travel fix-it fanfic protagonists are often

1) close enough to the plot to know which are the major canon events

2) the person most driven to FIX IT

3) the character with the brain cell insight into what strings to pull

4) capable of enforcing The Plan™

At the end of the day you want someone who will utilize the opportunity to MAXIMUM effect. So when they start making a list, you know it’s going to be awesome. 

Time travel fix-its are great because who doesn’t love an itinerary? Like yes give me tasks and instructions, Queen!

this is something we shold have got forever ago i believe it was said we had new writers on the show and if so thank god iven was the first akuma victim and then just stated dating mylin and thats all he got

now we finally learn about this character

we learn about his dad that he lives with his grandad

and his dad being a villion links to some one else we now

adrin,it was nie to see Adrien and mari not be at the center of some else episode unlike other seasons

but we srr something new linked to adrin bits and piece of his past from 1 tell now and when looking in a box from his past with mari

mari finds a letter were grabrail tell adrin the truth(not this man trying to control adrin from the grave)

i fear if Adrien wasn't chat he would maybe do as the letter asked of him kinda mirroring what iven all most did this episode we saw in (what is supost to be epsiod e 1 but isnt)

that Adrien doesn't know what he want to do with his life like i said if it wasn't for him being chat he would maybe tried to do like his father asked and i think its so crazy that gerbil new his paln would work at some point write this letter and and tried to get Adriento bring him back and dear i saw this is kinda my fear like another form of for shadowing like with mari and her asking alya to take her place

at the same time we see all the kids from miss bustier class and zoe butting together some even for her, you can really tell the writers have stepped up they're game caz in any of the old season this would have been the main focused with mari trying to make thing

look good mixed with a plan to ask Adrien out ,but we see that the writes are doing multipale things at once ,from ivans story with his dad ,julika, Adrien ,mari and Natalie all at once and it dosn't feel overwhelming like you thing it would it give all the charaters need

time to shin and get much need development ,and like i said be for with out mari being at the center trying to take on everyone's issues well at the same time fighting hawkmoth ,being lb and trying to ask adrin to go get ice cream or something

we after this we see ivans dad serach for him he almost gets him but iven gets away and gose in to the sewers of all place (can we get 1 season with out some going down their at this point everyone just going to live down their like ninja turtles )

iven calls on maribug he want to give her his mirauluse back but they talk things out and we see iven transform after that we see the akuma fight mixed with julika song but be for she gose on stage to see her song we see her and rose kiss trully conforming they are together unlike other season

(sorry i could get the shot of it ) the kiss was concenters so they could still air this in other place around the world but we all now it was a kiss i dont get why miss bustier got to kiss her gf/wife?

but julrose could get a kiss like that maybe caz but for know a kiss is a kiss im so happy after 10 year we got this evn if its not what we wanted and hay its not at the end of the show like like other lgbt couples in shows
