i genuinely cannot get over kaz’s face and the barely concealed panic on it when sturmhond/nikolai holds up the garnets of ivets necklace and kaz realizes that without it he can’t keep his promise to inej and pay off her indenture. and we know that he takes the necklace from alina in the first place exactly for that reason

and so even though inej would probably be so angry at him for it, he immediately sells alina out to get the necklace/equivalent money back

What I love about this scene is not just how casual and open they are with being gay, that theres no need to hide their queerness in this universe

But its also Jespers hand on Wylans neck, something given his past could be a massive trigger for him, but he feels so completely safe with Jesper he can just enjoy the moment

-anyway that entire time he’s in her room and trying to cheer her up peak benvi

-when he tries to protect her from that drunk guy at princeton amazing 10/10

-WHEN HE HEARD ELEANOR SAYING DEVI DIDNT GET INTO COLLEGE AND HE JUST ZOOMED OUT THE DOOR TO FIND DEVI

-his sex dream/fantasy of devi like god he’s so insane and down bad 😭

-DEVI SEEING HIM RUN INTO THE WEDDING IN SLO MO THATS SOULMATE BEHAVIOR

-him immediately offering to look up a yt tutorial when devi realizes she can’t put her sari back on herself

One thing that was pretty big in the books was Inej describing Kaz as having sharp features, all angles and edges, and look at this!! They made a pretty incredible work in making him look so sharp!

In contrast Inej is all round and soft (lovely and brave and better than anything he deserved)

And of course the casting director nailed cause who else would have this perfect cheekbones?? Freddy Carter is Kaz Brekker.

And even next to Jesper, he still has more edges and angles. Look, even though Jesper's hat is as angular as Kaz's his lapel isn't which give him a softness that isn't in Kaz.

Was talking to a johivah's witness and a Baptist today(my mom is SO irritated I won't just send them away but what can I say....I got curious and they already know i'm catholic) ...and they asked me why I'm curious about the bible.....and I told them about hazbin hotel.....I told these nice sweet ladys about HAZBIN HOTEL. And then talked about the possible theming and intent. about about forgivness and redemption themes in the show(plus the musicals) and how I'm curious about literature that the show pulled from....and that was 15 minutes ago and now I'm horrified because what if these ladies look it up!!!!!

first of all, the duffers absolutely didn't have the full series planned out from the start because Stranger Things was originally pitched as a limited series with 1) the potential for a direct "sequel" that would follow the younger kids as adults (basically, they pitched "It") or 2) an outright sci-fi horror anthology. second of all, even if the duffers did have everything mapped out from the start that doesn't mean that plan isn't garbage.
