I did not expect such bold beauty in this sophisticated 1922 Neo-Classical brick stunner in Washington, DC. 5bd 4ba, listed for $4.2M. 

Small foyer is before the entrance hall- by the harlequin tile, silver patterned ceiling and gray tones, you can see that the decor will be bold, but mostly neutral. 

To the right of the entrance is this classy sitting room with a fireplace flanked by 2 lighted display areas and a sleek, shiny black floor.

To the left is room that appears to be an office or den.

The dining room is next to the sitting room and has a wonderful columned entrance, checkered tile floor and a stunning mural on the ceiling. Glass walls and doors provide views and access to the patio, bringing the outside in.

Next is a nice silver, blac & white kitchen. 

Beautiful guest powder room. 

The kitchen is open to the hallway with stairs leading to the 2nd level.

Beautiful large main b. has a fireplace flanked by closets.

The room extends to this lovely sitting area. 

Gorgeous marble en-suite bath. 

This could be another bd. that’s being used as a sitting room. 

The 2nd bath has beautiful modern/vintage plumbing fixtures.

This lounging room has a ping pong table, some chairs to hang out in, and a big fridge, plus access to the patio. (Plus a snowblower against the wall, there.)

Stairs lead further down the property to a lovely garden.
