Hellowi pretty people I come over to ramble about random Nimona projects and stuff bc I'm excited about them but nothing's finished

I'm writing a short thing for fun with the idea of Ambrosius getting hearing loss because of the explosion that made Nimona and the laser and I'm listening to songs to see if I get inspo for the title (so far the doc is called 'Ambrosius gets hearing damage' but that's not cool JSKSHD), and listening to Mistki I was like omg a fic called Why Not Me. But then I was like omg a fic regarding Nimona and her monster form with the title 'I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down' but then I was like no omg what about a fic about comic goldenheart with the title 'I always want you when I'm finally fine'

I have no idea what qualifies as a good lyrics title but I think they work

And I literally have no ideas besides a phrase and the vibes for it, and still got no title for the temporarily deaf Ambrosius thing but it's so fun to do this sjdkdj (also, I really like the headcanon of him getting permanent but parcial (?) hearing loss on the ear that was closest to the explosion, it makes sense) (also I've experienced some partial hearing loss (?) at some point earlier this year and it's just so not fun to go through that bc people get very mad at you when you need them to repeat themselves more than twice and ask them to be louder pipipi anyways everything keeps happening around him and Ambrosius doesn't catch half of it and he feels a bit too helpless and scared of not hearing again but it works out in the end (more or less))

Another thing that has a long way to go and I'm trying to find a title for is an au of the gay dads au with mpreg where Ballister is from the beginning Nimona's dad and Ambrosius is that ex that by chance slowly makes his way back to his life and accidentally becomes Nimona's stepdad (like in Look Who's Talking? I think sjdkdj) also Meredith's there and she's cool and doing her own thing, I'm glad I read the comic bc I changed her relationship with Ballister in the fic and I think it works better with his decisions and motivations and all that stuff

(in my head it's very epic but to you it may seem like anything JSKDH)

Ballister is not really having a good time (lonely, unsure about his decision, scared and stuff, especially when he has to have her) but he has his good moments, promise. Also he hugs Meredith and she pats his back awkwardly like in the comic, at some point

Also as soon as Ballister finds out that Nimona's a girl he gets many very pink clothes pipipi Ambrosius gets him pink stuff for her too bc he sees any cute baby clothes or accessories and he's like hey I bet Ballister would like this for his baby :) and buys it

Nimona doesn't like him much when she's born, and he's like aw c'mon :( I bought you so many gifts pipipi I helped fold your tiny little clothes that one time !! (Ballister points out that he had done a very shitty job at it and Ambrosius shushes him, covering Nimona's ears)

Ambrosius and Ballister don't beat the shit out of each other at the bar but Ballister goes away all angrily while Ambrosius walks behind him going Ballister I'm not done talking to you !!! >:(

And Ballister's like I am !! >:( and then there's another drawing of him leaning against a wall with one hand going damnit because he overworked himself, and Ambrosius going all *touching his hands together nervously* do you need to sit down :(? And Ballister going ...no. fuck off.

Also Nimona telling him to just abort that thing when he first told her (and he hadn't known yet what to do about it), and then when Cyrus' born he's staring angrily at her (he's not, he's just newly born and scrunched) and Nimona's like, holy shit boss, he remembers 😟 and Ballister's like, ?? How's he gonna remember, he doesn't even know you.

Also Ballister getting sad about the discussion at the bar and Nimona cheering him up with the science fair, but him going this won't trick anybody, look at me😔 *gestures to his pregnant self* and Nimona's like, nah boss you just look like you got a beer gut, it'll work. How they manage to run away from the guards/knights and all that when Nimona's stuck in cat form, that's not my business 🧐

Also Cyrus is born sometime before the whole Ballister freaking out about Nimona's powers, so he's somewhere in the kingdom being babysat by a nice older lady or something when Nimona's part is destroying everything. Or maybe he's just peacefully sleeping very far away in the lair and Ballister goes around the whole thing with a baby monitor, whichever option works. (Neither does 😭)

General Kuras headcanons (Touchstarved)

GN reader - no warnings | Literally my second fav character in this game, love him sm ! Had a lot to say about this sweet angel so here we are. I want him to read me a bedtime story, then we can cuddle. Also I might post about Leander next time...

• Divine smell like omg the aromas, the fragrance ! A mix of clean clothes, nutmeg, honeysuckle & jasmine. (my personal fav but it's up to you)

• Radiates warmth, physically and also in terms of energy. Whenever he's near you, you can't help but relax and feel welcome. He makes you feel safe no matter what. He thinks it's cute that you like hugging him so much.

• If you're short don't worry ! Kuras won't mind reaching things you can't, he'll be your personal assistant for high supplies you can't get.

• We know he uses he/him pronouns but being an angel, a being of pure light & love, would technically make him genderless/agender ? Can he shapeshift ? Surely, but who truly knows... Ah what a gorgeous mysterious being.

• He's able to perceive souls and energies. He doesn't need to 'know' people to actually know them if that makes sense.

• He finds you fascinating and so do you ! You love listening to whatever he has to say because it's genuinely so interesting, his thought process is so intriguing. You two always have endless conversations about so many topics ! You'd never have thought he'd be this talkative but oh do you enjoy it.

• Have a calm reading session with him and he's yours ! This is his vision of the perfect date. Can't read because you're tired ? He'll read for you while you relax, charmed by his soothing voice. Of course, he loves your voice too ! Read him your favourite book, he will listen with much attention. He's all ears.

• If you're a very spiritual person, you'll love him even more. Talk to him about spirits, energies, deities etc… there's so much he'll teach and explain to you ! This tall guy is full of knowledge (big brain over here).

• Remember when he said "Do not be afraid." ? He meant it ! I think he's still used to his original form and so doesn't want to scare anyone. His current form is more accessible for mortals and he's trying his best to 'fit in'. (His incarnation is the opposite of scary but I don't think he realizes how attractive he is)

• He's omnilingual. That's it. No but fr, I don't know what his role is/was precisely as an angel (if he was a messenger or a guardian) but he understands any languages ! He tries to hide this ability because how could he explain it without sounding suspicious ? "How do I know javanese & martiniquan creole ? Oh, well it's a long story. I do not think you would find this interesting, really MC."

• Want to share jewelry with him ? Of course, go on. Give him your stuff, he'll love wearing whatever you have especially if it's golden. If you have big earrings like his he'll love them, big 10/10, sharing is caring as we say ! You guys would switch earrings a lot and I think it's adorable.

• If you're polyglot, he'd appreciate greatly to talk with you in your native tongue or other. Need some help with your vocabulary or something ? He's here to help ! Don't hesitate to ask him anything. → Would be really fun to have you, Kuras and Ais talking in other languages together ! Imagine the possibilities !!! Such interesting conversations omg

• We know he's not the most expressive but you get him with a simplicity that is surprising ! Whether it's the tone he uses, his choice of words or the way he looks at his interlocutor, you can easily decipher how he feels. People say he's distant and appears a little cold but you know he's the most affectionate person you've ever seen !

• Always buys you food and invites you to eat outside to make up for the fact that he cooks badly ! He's truly sorry for his poor cooking skills but is always willing to feed you the best products in town. Please, teach him some basics. How can you be a good doctor when your food is causing stomach aches ??

• Afraid to be too comfortable around him ? Don't worry, he's a doctor. If you think sneezing or burping in front of him is embarrassing, remember he sees sick people and corpses on a daily basis. ↑ If you happen to sneeze next to him and feel gross because of the snot, no prob ! He'd simply go "Oh, bless you. Do you need a tissue ? I have my handkerchief if you want." with his cute lil smile.

• If texting was a thing in TS, he would 100% overuse the ":)" smiley. You'll find it at the end of every freakin text, you can't run away from it lmaoeuzfh. "Good morning MC, how are you ? :)" "One of my patient has been affected by -insert horrible affliction-, therefore I will see you this afternoon :)" "I'm deeply sorry to hear that your mentor passed away, may they rest in peace :)" "Ais said that I, I quote, 'give off milf energy' ? • Likes going on walks with you. Think you can't keep up with his long legs ? Just wrap your arm around his and he won't lose you. He's very careful to adapt to your pace so you can enjoy the moment. → Would definitely pick flowers for you while you guys are strolling around the city. He knows flower language so he'd tell you what they mean if you want. Also you have to tell him your favourite flower(s), he'll gift you the best bouquets ever (he would make them himself of course) !

• He's a doctor so he might go picking plants and flowers for his medicines. Just imagine him with a little basket, wandering around fields like a little witch :') Go flowerpicking with him please 😩 he'd love to share this activity with you !

• Whenever you get home after spending time with him, you always find white feathers hidden on & in your clothes. Can be on your vest, in your pockets, even in your bag ! At first you wonder if Kuras doesn't own a bird and he's like "Oh ! Do not worry, these are mine." "Yours ? Like your pet's ?" "No dear, mine. I happen to lose my feathers sometimes, it's not convenient and I am sorry if this bothers you." "...Oh hm, okay ?". So then you just collect them cause they're pretty and soft. (He wouldn't mind if you used the small ones to stuff your pillows really.)

• Lets you braid his hair. If you have some pretty accessories that go well with his aesthetic, don't hesitate ! He likes how you touch his hair with softness, always careful.

Ello. I'm a Pinterest convert who happened to join at the same time as the great Reddit migration, so that's fun. Anyways, figured I'd make a post to give people some info about me.

I'm in a large number of fandoms, including (DEEP INHALE), SCP Foundation, Wanderer's Library, The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Generation Loss, Murder Drones, Marvel, Star Wars (Somewhat), FNAF, DnD, Wings of Fire, Percy Jackson universe, Grishaverse, The Dragon Prince, Nimona, The Hunger Games, and probably some other I forgot to mention.

I'm also a bit of a nerd and hyperfixiate on both fictional and nonfictional things, I know wayyyyy too much about things like Chernobyl and Plague Doctors. I also sometimes write as a hobby and am learning how to art, still kinda figuring it out though. Due to the writing thing, I know a lot of incredibly random facts that I shouldn't, as well as just random science stuff.

I like helping people, so don't be afraid to reach out with questions or concerns if you need help with something. If you want info on things, I'm more than happy to help. Here's some things I know a lot about:

The Black Death, Plague Doctors, Chernobyl, oddly specific horrific events in history, the fandoms I've listed above, the lowcountry region of USA (Southeastern coast, I live in South Carolina about 15 minutes from the beach) and the ecosystem of said area (Marshes, swamps, beaches, and our temperate forests), mythology (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and some Norse), SCIENCE, and other things I'm probably forgetting.

For writing, I mainly like to do fantasy, some sci-fi, and a bit of horror. I'm far from consistent with when I write, you know how it is with motivation.

This IS a safe space blog for LGBTQIA+ people. I don't care if you're straight, gay, lesbian, bi, pan, omni, somewhere else on the spectrum, like asexuals, aromantics, and aroaces, or maybe you're enby, or maybe you're trans or genderfluid, or something else I forgot to mention. One of my mottos is "I'll respect your opinion as long as your opinion doesn't disrespect anyone else's existence or rights."

I sorta use a persona for some areas of Tumblr, such as Wizardblr, so here's a reference for that:

Name: Dr. Corvius (Will respond to Doc, Doctor, and Crow), Official Title is "Corvius The Plagued."

Appearance: Dr. Corvius appears human at first glance when wearing full attire, but this is not the case. They are actually an avian, with feathers covering most of their body and rough, scaled skin similar to that of bird feet covering their hands, forearms, lower legs, and their feet. Their fingers have short claws on the ends, and their feet are structured like that of a crow. They don't wear shoes, as their feet are not well shaped to even wear them, and they frequently perch on branches and the like, which is far easier with their talons exposed. They do have wings, and usually will tuck these in under their mantle, giving the appearance of a feathered cape. They wear the outfit of a plague doctor, with a long black robe, mask, and other accessories, including a pouch of supplies. They also carry around a plague doctor stick, which doubles as an arcane focus. Under their plague doctor mask, they have an actual beak. (Essentially just take a Kenku from DnD and give it wings, and a plague doctor outfit.)

Abilities: They are a magic practitioner, specializing in necromancy, alchemy, chaos magic, and experimentation. She is also good with medicine, and despite not being licensed in any way, is incredibly good at healing people. Birds, specifically corvids, seem to follow them around, and will obey their commands. Their "flock" consists mostly of crows and ravens, but has a few magpies and rooks as well. This Flock is actually tied to her, so protection spells and immunities that she has extend to them. They can make noises like that of corvids, allowing for communication with their flock, and can also mimic sounds.

Behavior: They are generally a wise and intelligent person, taking the logical approach to things. They are kind, and are always willing to lend a helping hand.

@cnka i wanted to reply to ur question abt my thoughts on the tsn doc on my actual post but the tags were so insanely long i was like. i need to make an actual post

SO IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

first off, wow im just so astounded by the fervent love that went into making tsn. it was a risk and so unlike other projects fincher and anyone else there had done but w/ their commitment to it it turned out SO amazingly. the fact they sat around a table and argued for hours abt how the lines fit and everyone could make their case is just. WOW!!!! they really made sure everyone understood and loved playing their characters.

erica's and christies actresses werent very common appearances like mark but they really went all in too im in AWE!! NOT TO MENTION MARYLINS WOW!! rooney mara really just. god she went so hard into making sure all of ericas kindness and leniency and frustration were so clear, she was so focused in the behind the scenes footage and obviously having so much fun <33 i love that brenda song was able to relate to christie's jealousy and fear eduardo was cheating. the fact all the actors ARE the characters ages and are as chaotic and fierce and dedicated and ambitious makes it soooo<3333 rashida jones describing marilyn as a greek chorus just watching hit SO hard. the second hand experience of this young man going through this epic tale by just hearing it thru testimony is a crazy thing. the act of listening is so simple but becomes so emotional even as everyone wants to keep it professional

on the twins: i find it so wonderful that the actors armie and josh played both twins. it just WORKS bc twins take the 'know u better than u do' that siblings have and take it to absolutely insane levels. the fact these actors have literally got access to both the twins minds takes the performance to a whole new level like those twins know each other inside and out!!!! its a meta thing that goes truly crazy.

you have already seen me say the bts of the erica and mark breakup truly kills me bc. he is being an asshole and not listening and the fact he doesn’t mean to doesn’t change that he is. she has to leave, but it’s so sad that she does bc… fincher calling him 'damaged goods' implies a universe where whatever makes him like this isnt present. where maybe he’s fine. so. GOD :’(( (i think it’s autism + the bad life experiences that come from that & being queer + the bad life experiences that come from that, heightened by the era)

on a more positive note i love that on set picking out the accessories andrew says ‘i’ when hes speaking as eduardo. he’s really dedicated to the role its great. also that he and jesse had conversations in character like these 20 year olds r crazy truly. love them for that !!

during the whole thing, everyone is so suspicious, and condemning to mark: like, noting that he is driven by ego, jesse jokes mark is okay with the cold because he doesn’t feel anything, and also, there’s a part when sorkin, fincher, andrew, and jesse are sitting around and talking about the scene where mark & eduardo argue abt ads. essentially, they make the argument that mark always says ‘i’ when eduardo says ‘we’ because in his mind, eduardo hasn’t contributed much at all. while mark is up coding for hours straight, eduardo is at some phoenix thing so? what gives?

so i was reframing my understanding of mark (which. is very indulgent cus i love him), and trying to get as close to his brain as i could and i was coming up with him generally being pretty… hard on the outside for lack of a better word. he’s not traditionally intimidating (like the script states) but its hard to crack him and you can really see this with jesse’s physicality like he’s so stiff. that’s pretty innocuous but i think this is something he uses to put distance between him and his loved ones- very frustrating. and i think every time i realise how much mark is an asshole i remember so many reasons why they added *trying to be.

when fincher called him damaged goods it’s like. the most in the doc people give him the benefit of the doubt (also sorkin saying he wanted to balance out all of mark’s character). which is pretty good because marks good traits are supposed to be very subtle and hit you when you don’t expect it. that’s very much how i felt when i suddenly remembered ‘sorry. that was mean.’ he truly is just trying to be an asshole. he wants to be nicer than he is but he also wants more power than he does and as someone who felt pretty powerless the rest of his life, that trumps the rest. he really thinks he can have both experiences, power and love, and he just hates that every time he takes a step in one direction it cancels out the other. this actually really fits in well w/ my next point

i also want to say that the fact mark videoing everyone was explained as him wanting to force proof that everything is fine, and they’re happy is making me so :(( MARK!!!! :(( he is so. i mean its two things: its the ‘i won, but did i?’ of it all. mark won the argument but its a hollow victory, being some sillicon valley titan isn’t emotionally fulfilling, it will never be enough. especially not when its costing him a good friend. the way the end is laced throughout the entire movie is so sick to me

re marks bullshit i also love how they mentioned that marks jealousy about the final clubs is more than just wanting to be in eduardo’s position its like - i thought we had some loser solidarity and now its like you’re a whole different person. its less of a horrible feeling when ur at the bottom with someone and mark feels betrayed. ofc mark doesn’t feel safe to express this emotion (bc bullied nerd boy whos probs bi in the 2000s), or doesn’t know that’s what he’s feeling, and decides it’s eduardo’s fault and freezes him out for it.

this is just off the top of my head i certainly have more and will probably talk more abt this lovely doc again :^))

So, this is the "landing page" for my story. The left column has my "poster", and underneath that is the summary I have on my info page on my blog. The other two columns, on the right, have links to the boards that make up this mess.

This is the "outfit catalogue" board. It has pics of the outfits for every sim involved in the story, along with notes on how I have used / will use them. (The order here is meaningless. The top row is just the order from my character page on my blog, and the other ones are just grouped by their relevance / if they actually show up.)

This is what part of the outfit catalogue actually looks like. I note what I might use the outfit for, and also any notes about it. (Is it out of character for said sim? Would it only be worn for specific occasions? Is it formal or casual? Is it for warm or cold weather? etc.)

This is the main worldbuilding board. Each kingdom on the continent has a section, and there's also a place for all my rambles about the world. (Anvia is on there, just cut off.)

Now onto the actual planning portion!!

I've shared this pic before, but this is my overall timeline for the story. (It really needs an update, though.) I have mapped out the dates of when certain key events occur, as well as when the transitions between the Acts happen. (Blurred for spoilers.)

This is the main landing page for my planning though. Each Act has a spot that includes the timeframe, a summary of events, as well as what I want to accomplish during that act to move the story forwards. (Acts 4 and 5 not included for spoiler reasons, plus Act 5 doesn't fit on the screen without scrolling.)

Each individual Act looks like this, but with more chapters (again, they don't all fit without scrolling). This is a look at Act 2. I have a column for each chapter, with a list of scenes, as well as the timeline of the chapter.

The board for each scene looks like this. I have a super short summary, the location (including which of the 6 copies of Windenburg said lot is in), who's involved, and what they'll be wearing (cross-referenced with the Outfit Catalogue, ofc.). Then there's a more detailed summary that summarizes the beats/themes of the scene, as well as has some insight into what the characters are thinking and feeling. The poses section varies from scene to scene, but the top section is for me to list any accessories I need, or any existing poses I have that might suit my needs, as well as rambling about the poses I might need to make. The checklist part is for the poses I need to make myself, usually. The writing section contains two versions of the scene. A full-length prose version (since I do that sometimes for fun and practice), and the actual script. The script is essentially what I type on the screenshots, as well as was goes in the transcript under the cut.

This is what the scratch board looks like. It's where I dump all of the screenshots I take for the scene, and sort them out. I decide which ones I actually want to use, and put them in the right order. Then I decide what portion of the text is going to go on which screenshot. (Better example below)

Phew! Okay, that's everything!! (Except for the character boards but those are kind of spoilery and I'm in the process of replacing them anyways.) Hopefully this was at least kind of fun to look at. It honestly amazes me how organized this is, because literally nothing else in my life is even remotely organized, lol.

I should also note that it was @mellindi who originally keyed me into the idea of using milanote for story-planning, and some of my layouts take inspiration from hers.

So today's big new idea is for Harmony's weapon. The original idea was for her to have some kind of vague sound blaster that shot slow but big projectiles, like Lucio's gun but with only a single shot per click, and a charge shot alt fire that used more ammo to release a piercing slash of sound. This felt too aimless but was on the right track in theory. Later on I changed it to a boombox hammer, which was a fun mental visual but felt too polarizing to limit her to a primarily melee character. She'd still have the charge slash as the alt fire, which would in theory not make her totally limited at a distance, but it still didn't feel right.

So third try is more similar to the first, but with something to make it stand out and make her kit less polarized than melee-only but still limited in range. This idea being:

The Amp Cannon.

This loudspeaker-like firearm blasts out conical sound waves that damage all enemies in its range. Enemies closer to the center of the blast take more damage, and the blast has a hard finite range. "Shotgun" is the best word for how it'd feel to use, but doesn't exactly explain how it functions. It does have a standard ammo capacity of 4, 6, or 8 shots that are reloaded all at once., not exactly sure what number for reasons that'll make more sense soon.

The defining feature of the weapon is its firing rate and the unique mechanic it comes with. After firing a shot, the gun takes a moment to recharge, similar to Illari's. You can fire it again early, but doing so results in less damage. These partial shots have their uses, like for finishing off an enemy you just barely didn't finish off with your last shot, but the spam shot DPS would be comparable to or worse than waiting for full charge shots, with the downside of needing to reload much more. However, there's a sweetspot where you fire almost instantly as the shot is fully charged for maximum damage, and minimizing your downtime and firing these shots at just the perfect time will have a subtle bonus effect:

Rhythm, baby

The weapon's sounds are made so that perfectly timing your shots has an audible rhythm to it. Getting a good rhythm has a minor but handy bonus effect, where after firing a full clip of shots with good enough rhythm, you reload your next clip almost instantly for uninterrupted firing.

Worth noting that Harmony's existing Feedback lifesteal mechanic is still in tact with this weapon, making good use of it directly beneficial to her survival. The rest of her kit is also largely unchanged, except for the fact that her Null Wave projectile-deletion ability is now this weapon's alt fire rather than separately based on her Accessory of choice. Felt it made sense to make the sound blasts come from the same thing. The big difference now is that it also does damage to enemies it passes through in addition to deleting projectiles, letting it act as Harmony's longest ranged attack. This does however leave her without an Accessory slot now, which I'm currently lacking any great ideas for. She already has two attacks and two defensive options, so not sure what she's lacking that wouldn't make her feel too overbearing. Eh, I'll think of something eventually.

Also naturally already got some vague cool ideas for alt weapon concepts that play further with both the rhythm mechanic and the alt fire's utility, but alt weapons are always easiest for me to figure out when I can freely write in my design doc, so they'll have to wait.

Also considering other touch-ups to older characters soon, either visually or mechanically. Formann still needs his whole kit reevaluated, but some characters like Yanno could use some heavy work on the design front. In his case specifically "heavy" is a double meaning, since I feel like him being sort of a little guy is redundant with some other designs and doesn't fit his current kit and stats as a guy who can take some explosions to the face... or feet.

e-girls and boys: litg edition

sooooo, i was going through my docs with absolutely no intention of finishing up anything and i realized i wrote a post about e-boys and e-girls and who would be down for it back in like APRIL 30th LAST YEAR! at least that was the last time i updated it ???

a year ago i wrote it and completely missed the posting??? 'cause i can't find it anywhere so i'm not sure if i posted or not. alas, here it is! (i have no clue what hit me because i made it for every season ?????)

wouldn’t mind makeup/nails/earrings, even though there could be some apprehension at first:

ꗃꗃ noah. actually excited to see himself in the mirror after almost dozing off while you put makeup on him. ah, he’s so sweet 🥺. and like... i don’t doubt noah’s makeup would be the blush look, usually applied on girls. i just think he would be neat enough to say “go for it!” and actually have some fun and video call his siblings to show up your work.

ꗃꗃ carl. probably being persuaded because you’re bored and in need of entertainment. he definitely thinks he’s too old for the trend, but still gets curious about how he would look. and i may add here, he would look exquisite, ok?? those bags under his eyes are perfect for an e-boy look! and i do think eventually he would be down for the e-girl shebang too.

ꗃꗃ mason, ciaran and nicky: just incredibly down for whatever, and i don’t see these boys as the type to refuse a good time, whatever it is. it’s all in good fun! nicky as a *clears throat with annoyance* friend... argh, would let you go to town on his face with whatever you want to smudge on his complexion. i said what i said.

ꗃꗃ elladine and genevieve are also eager to make it happen, wondering if they could make it work. definitely for the fun of it and to spend some quality time among friends.

ꗃꗃ lottie. “it’s SO MUCH BLUSH, BABE!” but once she sees how she pulls it off, possibly adding a purple/lavender highlight, she’ll be down for the rest. the outfit might be either too baggy or too “childish” for her, given she loves lace and leather, but i still think she would go for it, to please her partner, possibly liking the energy she gives.

ꗃꗃ seb. yep. as my best friend i must say, i would make his life hell until he said yes. only to see how cute he would look. we already know he looks *exquisite* with eyeliner, and i would absolutely melt once he had the dark nails and dark cuffed jeans. he’s practically an e-boy already. what’s a little

ꗃꗃ sammi. she’s up for everything, and she must be protected. with that being said, i wish we could have a makeup session with her, possibly giving her this fun look. she would be so excited too! 🥺

ꗃꗃ miki. she’s so up for fun looks that this would possibly be the most viewed video on her channel, if she hadn’t done it yet, she would be ecstatic to do it so!

so the girls at the jumpingpudpod and i have been making fun of john’s outfit in the episode home for weeks and i couldn’t help but imagine how i would dress john in 2022. sooo i made a vision board aha. disclaimer: i don’t mean to bully whoever styled him for the show. also i’m not a fashion expert by any means !! this is just for fun and no one has to take my ideas to heart😁👍🏽

okay so first up we have the left side aka our day to day outfits. these are for when elizabeth forces him to take a day off or when he’s back on earth running some errands! no BDUs for obvious reasons aha. so my inspiration for him came from his personality/background. he grew up as a rich kid living in the suburbs but it’s pretty clear he rejected that lifestyle & in turn how his family would’ve wanted him to look. he’s a skater boy and tends to make himself cooler than he really is lol so thats vibe i ended up went for! he wants to look like he threw on whatever was on the floor but he secretly cares just a bit aha. so he’s got a leather jacket which he would wear constantly (it’s the epitome of cool) and we also have some sweaters he could layer with (in my mind he likes to wear long sleeves/sweaters bc again comfort but also “effortless”). i chose to stick with a darker palette aka blacks, navy blues, and dark greens (ignore the blue jeans & white peaking out from underneath the green sweater aha)! also as much as i wish he was a skinny jeans type of a guy, i simply cant see it. i believe he would prefer something comfortable, yet stylish, and something he could freely move around in soooooo he gets some joggers! in black of course ahh. i also gave him some vans because i think he would love sneakers but i could also see him owning many pairs of doc martens!

next up and to the right we got his true vacation outfit! now this is reserved for his longer vacations (like hanging out with the athosians on the mainland ahah) and it’s here we get to see a bit more of his dorky personality and less of the “rebel”. i could see him embracing the whole cheesy tourist look so expect lots of hawaiian inspired vacation shirts, and yes, the top few buttons HAVE to be undone! he would go for a lighter toned clothes especially since he’d be hanging around the beach all day so i chose some beige pants and some nice birkenstocks ahah.

and up top we have his formal wear! again his upbringing vs his current mindset would have a struggle in what to wear so i chose a bit of both. he would stick to the classics aka a black suit, with little pizzazz. However i also believe he wouldn’t fully commit so don’t expect a tie and his top buttons would definitely be undone again lol. his love (or maybe my love) for turtlenecks would once again prevail, and i could see him wearing one regularly for events where he doesn’t have to wear his dress blues.

and lastly (whew! i didn’t think it would be this long ahah) we have accessories. now i don’t think john would be into wearing accessories except for a few of his favorites that he would keep on him at all times. of course, we have his black sunglasses. no explanation needed aha. and i also added a chain to the top left. obviously his dog tags would be on this chain but i also added a ring because i like to think he would keep something of his mothers with him at all times. anddd that’s it! i’m actually pretty proud of this ahah so let me know what you think!

Top 10 Feel Good TV Shows...or at least in my opinion...today...

Because sometimes you need to take a break from the news, true crime docs, and cult shows...or maybe that’s just me.

1. The Great British Baking Show/Off: To those of you who haven’t watched,  I can hear you saying, but Manda, how can a competition show be “Feel Good”? My friends, this one is. You start with a lovely tent equipped with all the kitchen accessories your heart could desire, plunk it on a GORGEOUS British estate, add contestants who are actually decent human beings that willingly help out their fellow bakers when they need it, sprinkle in two judges who know what they’re talking about, and top it all off with two hilarious hosts (Mel and Sue will forever own my heart, but Noel has wheedled his way in there too) who encourage the contestants with pep talks, baking innuendos/puns and plenty of hugs. That’s how it’s Feel Good. 

2. Miranda: A sitcom about an awkward, hilarious woman in her late 30′s who’s  actually a normal human being aka she has cellulite, struggles to find clothes that fit, gets completely flustered at the thought of dating/*whispers*sex and loves to eat. Throw in some goofball side characters, Tom Ellis aka Lucifer himself as the main love interest and you have a show that’s “What I call...such fun!”

3. The Golden Girls: What can I say it’s a classic?! “Lanai!” “Shady Pines,Ma!” “Back in St. Olaf...” “Picture it. Sicily 1920...” “Mr. Burt Reynolds...” If you haven’t watched, just do. You won’t regret it, I swear. Plus the 1980′s aesthetic alone is worth the watch. ;) P.S. I’m just a Rose wishing she was a Sophia.

4. The Lizzie Benne Diaries: Teeeeechnically not a tv show because it’s a web series, but it’s close enough. Basically it’s if our girl Lizzie Bennet lived in 2013 and had her own vlog. So good and so funny. Each episode is only 2-5 minutes long so it’s super easy to binge. (Also I LIVE for that moment when we finally meet Darcy.)

5. The Vicar of Dibley: I’ve sung the praises of this show on many a Tag Game, but I’m doing it again! A smart, hysterical vicar comes to a small village in the English countryside and completely shakes up the villagers lives because...SPOILERS...the vicar is a woman *GASP* 

(Also American TV/Movie industry? How about y’all actually be brave for once and make a show about a plus sized woman getting the hot guy in the end too? And not make it the butt of a sick, cruel joke? That’d be greaaaaaat.)

6. Derry Girls: Five teens try navigate life at an all girls Catholic school while living in Northern Ireland right at the tail end of The Troubles. I know. I know. It sounds like it wouldn’t be Feel Good at all, and while there are moments that are heart wrenching, it’s wickedly funny and ridiculous with some truly tender scenes. Plus it has a killer 90′s soundtrack.

7. Pushing Daisies: Whimsical sets, colorful retro costumes, delicious pies, crime solving, and Lee Pace as the sweetest, woobiest baker who also happens to be a necromancer. What more could you want? (Just please don’t yell at me because there’s only two seasons.)

8. The IT Crowd: This show is just pure British comedy gold. If these three IT techs can’t make you laugh at least once, I really don’t know what will. It’s ridiculously quotable and the scenes with Moss and Roy at the football match is one of the best moments in tv history in my humble opinion. 

9. Sanditon: Think a Bridgerton that you can watch with your mom. It’s all about the  lives and loves of the Parker family set in a picturesque seaside town. Two warnings though. 1. You will fall in love with Sydney Parker. (JOOOOOIN MEEEEE) and 2. So far there’s only one season and those evil showrunners ended it on the worst sort of emotional cliffhangers.

10. Anne With An E: Okay yes, they took a looooooot of liberties with the original story, but I still feel that everything that we loved about the OG Anne is still there. You’ll still want to visit PEI as soon as possible, and you’ll still wish you had a Gilbert, Diana, Marilla and Matthew of your very own.

This game is a walking headache, so I'll ask about fashion! Could you tell/show a bit of Helena and Jacob's style? 💕

Alright, but seriously, this is a really cool question! And thank you for asking! 💖

However, I can’t into fashion, like at all... and so I’m not sure if what I came up with is even cohesive and whatnot. Nonetheless, here it is! Finally! And it’s a bit longish...

In general, both Helena and Jacob are familiar with Muggle fashion. Their father is a Muggle, so their connection to the Muggle world is pretty strong. Of course, it absolutely doesn’t mean they’re fashionable. Oh no, no, no… Still, they are kind of influenced by what they see on the telly or simply in stores while they’re back at home. Therefore, it’s not obscure for them either. Now, with that in mind, let’s discuss some details.

Helena

Helena’s style is kind of all over the place, really. There’s a lot of typical 80s fashion: mostly jeans with colourful T-shirts or jumpers. She also likes to wear Jacob’s old flannel shirts. “Old” means that they’re smaller than you’d think looking at Jacob now, but… they’re still quite too big for Helena. It takes a while before she decides to make them more fitting (by using Reducio, for example).

By the end of the fourth year, Helena’s style becomes a bit more “rocker”. It's actually inspired by the game itself because around this time, we got that galaxy hair and the black leather coat (it was shortly before the Weird Sisters TLSQ was originally released). And honestly, I liked it so much that I decided to keep it canon. I didn’t find the exact coat I imagine, but the story is basically that Helena found it in a second-hand one day, and pretty much everyone hates it – but Helena loves it.

Helena’s rocker phase lasts for some part of the fifth year, and then, it turns sort of into a mix of both her 80s and rocker styles.

I also want Helena to have some fun bag. I didn’t figure out the exact design yet, but I included what gives me more or less the right vibes. I’m thinking that perhaps it was even her mum’s bag previously, and Helena was quite surprised when she found it, because currently, Alice has a rather proper style.

Helena doesn’t wear a lot of accessories otherwise. It’s usually just her watch (a present from her grandparents) and a piercing in the upper part of her ear she got from Tonks.

After Hogwarts, her style becomes more… mature? I guess you could qualify it as Light Academia or maybe Dark Academia. (Please, keep in mind that I don’t really know what I’m talking about.) Either way, it starts shaping in the seventh year already, probably. She wears more dresses, and skirts, and whatnot. On top of that, she wears some subtle jewellery a little more often.

This trend continues into her adulthood. Of course, it also depends on the situation. She still likes to go back to her more casual style, and she has a pretty prominent grunge phase in the 90s. It’d probably be the preferred choice for most of the curse-breaking assignments, too: her Docs, jeans, and some leather jacket.

Jacob

Jacob’s style is quite simple. He just needs a T-shirt, his flannel and/or a jeans jacket, and he’s ready to go. Since he is a bit of a geek, he likes T-shirts referring the pop culture: either music bands or films. He prefers dark and neutral colours – and it stays true for the rest of his life.

The truth is that Jacob didn’t really have a chance to work on his style as a teenager. I mean, it was never a priority in his mind at Hogwarts, then he started working for R, and then… well, he got imprisoned. And after he gets out, he basically wears what he has – which means that his style doesn’t change much for quite some time. And that’s fine, actually, because he feels rather comfortable with it.

The one more important thing that changes during that period is that he wears the coat he got from Patricia a lot. Pretty much all the time when he’s outside. I plan to make a proper design of it one day, but so far, I was inspired by various search results like this, for example:

It doesn’t exactly fit his style, but he somehow makes it work.

After the nightmare of the Cursed Vaults is over, Jacob is being influenced by some people eventually, and so his style changes a little more. It becomes slightly more elegant, but nothing too extra. He doesn’t abandon his old style entirely, so I’d say it’s sort of hipstery as a result. He pays more attention to accessories as well, but it’s still nothing too extravagant.

Now, I don’t know if you can tell already that I’m trying really hard not to say that Jacob’s style is basically Hozier… but it kind of is. Like, when Patricia gave him the coat and said: “I thought it should be good for your height. Though it’s a bit loose. Then again, most things are on you…”, this is pretty much what I had in mind: click!

The funny thing is that Jacob is honestly not based on Hozier. I got super into Hozier fairly recently, because in 2020, I believe. I knew some of his songs even earlier, naturally, but this was when I fully discovered him. And Jacob was pretty fleshed out by then! But the more I watched Hozier, the more I was like: “Oh yeah, it’s Jacob vibes”.

What can I say? I guess I simply have a type – and Jacob was always a very self-indulgent character 😅

Also, if we speak about Hozier already, it obviously means… A MAN BUN!

-so because of his size he can’t exactly cuddle with you to sleep, but you lay on his stomach up towards his neck so he can wrap his arms around you (he’s freaking tall)

-he’s very protective and gets jealous easily, except for the protective part he actually doesn’t get protective until he turns and sees you in trouble because honestly he doesn’t keep the closest eye on you at times

-he’s not one for pda but if you sit on his lap he’s okay with that, similar for in private, except you can hold his hand or lay on him and he’ll return it simply

-he’s very protective, i mean being a former impel down guard he has some experience protecting things, and obviously killing people, he has absolutely no problem killing someone who hurt you

-he’s a cuddle bug but his hugs are always a bit intense, he forgets how strong he is and how small you are compared to him and he ends up hurting you but he apologizes

-he lives to show off, every chance he gets he’s showing off for you and when he loses or gets embarrassed he gets snappy and cranky

-he tends to move around a lot in his sleep so you’ll occasionally wake up being smacked across the fake or with burgess rolling on top of you and/or pushing you off the bed

-i would say you could ride his horse with him but actually, he and his horse are incredibly sick and both of them barely have the strength to stand so you can't ride on the horse, you can however walk next to it while doc talks to you or holds your hand

-you can also feed his horse sugar cubes and doc always watches you like 🙂

-he either sleeps, or stays awake the whole night, if he sleeps then he's passed out on top of you or sprawled across the bed like a starfish, if he can't sleep he'll just lay in bed letting you sleep on him

-he likes to take you with him and give people the exploding apples for no reason except to see you smile at their suffering, he'll also show you how to make the apple if you want, he watches from teh. side while you hurry across a road dropping an apple and then the two of you giggle when it blows up on the poor person who picked it up

-he taught you a bit about how he reades fates with the flight patterns of birds and sometimes. he'kl test. you by asking if. you see anything

-he also tried to teach you to shoot but he's at a war with himself because you might need to learn and it could be fun, but you could get hurt too

-he's not the biggest cuddler or pda person, but if you initiate something he won't exactly push you away unless it's extravagant and really lovey-dovey

-when ever the crew is sitting down somewhere, van augur will either pull you into his lap or let you sit next to him and lean your head on his shoulder while you use his cape as a blanket

RFA + Minor trio with a Mc who practices to do hair because she got the notice that she will have a daughter

As May is the month of the family ( in the most countries, included Korea!) I woke up with a message from @brendascorner who told me that this month she would most likely correct my ,,family’’ - writings, so here we are! I hope you guys enjoy and maybe you wanna tell me what special days you guys have in your country?  

Jumin

Your husband hated himself that he was late, late for this special day and moment to find out the gender of the fruit of his love with you.

But unfortunately, the shareholders meeting couldn’t get delayed.

As soon as it was over, he grabbed his jacket to rush towards the garage where apparently Driver Kim was waiting for him to bring him to the hospital where you were having your check up.

Jumin tried to call you, however, you didn’t respond, making him kind of scared that something happened to you. Were you still waiting? 

Did you get bad news? 

Worse, were you angry with him? 

Not knowing what to do, he called one of the guards who were supposed to be with you who then told him that after the check up, they brought you to a shop. You bought some things and returned home safely, not coming out of the room. 

Jumin was worried. If you really were home, were you perhaps really angry with him?

As soon as he arrived he walked into his penthouse. He was out of breath as he moved so quickly to get to you.

,,Oh, you’re home?’’ you asked him as you turned your head around to his direction, observing him as he took off his shoes and walked on the cold floor with his socks on to get to you.

,,Is everything okay? Why didn’t you respond to your call? Are you angry at me?’’ he asked you tons of questions.

Just now, he realized that you were doing the hair of a puppy you probably bought today.

,,Huh?’’ he asked you, pointing at whatever you were doing.

,,Mr Han, you need to study too,’’ you laughed and kissed his cheek before you were hugged by him.

,,As your manager, I don’t allow you to miss rehearsal,’’ you told him as you were on your way to the doctor.

,,And as your boyfriend, I don’t want you to go there alone! Besides, I want to find out with you!’’ he whined.

The problem was that your appointment was the same day as his rehearsal for his big debut and if he missed this chance, he wouldn’t be able to keep working in that agency.

That’s why, even though you wished he would come with you, you didn’t want him to come along. He had to work so he could soon achieve his big dream.

,,I mean, you need to work for this baby. What should I tell him or her? Daddy wasn’t working hard enough for his dream?’’ you asked him. Now you could make him change his mind.

,,Besides,’’ you whispered as you went on the tip of your toes before you told him. ,,I want to surprise you with a gender reveal!’’

And finally Zen let you go.

While you kept rubbing your already swollen belly, you stepped in and the news she told you gave you the best idea to tell Zen the gender of your baby…

,,Can you please tell me?!’’ Zen whined as you led him to the table to make him sit down on a chair.

You stayed silent and without a word, you sat behind him and began to brush his long white hair.

You brushed it from the ends to the roots and then you began to braid his hair, inserting some flowers and some barrettes.

Zen stayed silent as you did his hair. He actually enjoyed the touch of your fingers, his hair between your soft touch. Actually, it tickled a bit on his head.

When you were finally ready, you showed him the back of his hair with a mirror.

,,Mc, this looks cute, but can you please finally tell me what the doc said?’’ he sighed, actually liking what you did.

,,Well, she said that I should practice doing hair,’’ you laughed.

Suddenly, it clicked in his mind and as he turned around to you, his eyes already wet with tears.

,,It’s- a girl? What if… if someone wants to marry her?’’ he whined, hugging you as he sobbed in happiness, making you laugh.

Yoosung

,,I don’t wanna know it,’’ Yoosung whined as he helped you to get the steps up.

He was overprotective, almost annoyingly overprotective, but it was also a part of him you liked.

,,But I want to know,’’ you told him.

,,Okay, then you get to know and I don’t?’’ Yoosung asked you, pointing as he thought how unfair you were being.

The topic was that Yoosung wanted to have a surprise. He didn’t want to know your baby's gender. He thought that buying pink or blue clothes for babies was just unnecessary and so he wanted to have a big surprise.

You thought this was a good idea. No one said that your son couldn’t wear pink rompers, but you still wanted to know the sex of the baby you were carrying.

,,I want to think of names, I want to prepare the nursery, I want to do a baby book and add those memories. If you don’t wanna know, I won’t tell you!’’ you told him and finally opened the door of the doctor’s office.  

And that’s why, as soon as the doctor said that he would check the sex, Yoosung decided to go out of the room.

But of course he couldn’t hide his excitement and nervousness.

As soon as you stepped out, your clothes now in the right place, he approached you.

,,What did he say?’’ he indeed asked you.

,,No way, Mr Kim, you said you didn’t want to know!’’ you scolded him.

Days went by and Yoosung tried to find out the sex, but you didn’t seem to make anything differntly.

Just one day, when you suddenly bought clips and brushes, he became suspicious.

,,I’m so sorry that I can’t come with you,’’ Jaehee said, looking around the coffee shop as more and more people were entering.

You stood next to her, your bag in your hand, the jacket well closed to keep you warm as you were about to go to the doctor.

,,It’s okay, we will handle the situation there, right?’’ you asked your belly. Of course there was no answer, but you still made her smile.

,,Okay, take care and look out for steps. Don’t fall!’’ she warned you, making you smirk.

You laughed and stepped out, the fresh air hit you as you inhaled the air.

The doctor greeted you and did some basic examinations before she checked for the gender of the baby you were carrying below your heart.

Afterwards, you first went into a shop to buy some hair accessories as a surprise for Jaehee.

The truth behind the reason why Saeyoung, your fiancé, didn’t come with you to the doctor was that you both actually had an argument before you both had your appointment.

Neither of you remembered the reason for the argument or what event triggered you to yell at him, but you decided to go alone and he decided to let you go alone.

,,You are so thick headed,’’ Saeran hissed as he observed his brother tracking you with the GPS in your phone and all the CCTV cameras you were passing by.

,,I need to check that she arrives safely,’’ he mumbled, still annoyed.

,,Those mood swings made me… crazy. Actually, I believe I have them too,’’ he sighed.

,,Apparently, couples who love each other dearly have the same pregnancy symptoms,’’ Saeran said and stepped out of Saeyoung’s room, leaving his red haired brother alone.

Just when he saw you stepping into the building of your doctor’s office he could calm down.

,,Huh?!’’ Saeyoung hissed, looking up as he looked at the building again, noticing that you weren’t visiing your normal doctor, but the gynecologist, remembering that today you would find out the sex of your twin babies.

Lately, you and your Boyfriend didn’t really have much time together.

Between searching for Saeyoung and trying to fight his father, as well as your work, and the RFA party, you two kind of didn’t talk much at home, even though Jumin made sure that you both could live together in a little, but comfortable house.

Since it was kind of stressful, you didn’t think much of your weak body or the fatigue.

Just when you began to throw up one day, you began to think about your symptoms. Was it a virus?

However,  you couldn’t tell Saeran. Knowing his characteristics, he would be very worried for you and not concentrate on his own work.

So you decided to ask Jaehee for help, who was more than happy to support you.

,,Hey,“ she greeted you, a black mask on her face as her eyes seemed to smile.

You chuckled as you slowly got into the car.

,,Mr. Han let us have Driver Kim for today,“ she softly told you and stroked your arm.

It was early in the morning when your doctor told you that you had to go to a gynecologist since he couldn’t help you.

,,I‘ve waited three hours for the results and now they say I need to visit someone else? I‘m starving!“ you hissed, annoyed, which was something Jaehee never saw in you.

,,Come, we can do this. Later I will buy you a good breakfast,“ she smiled and led you into the gynecologist's office.

,,You didn’t notice that you were pregnant for about fifteen weeks?“ your doctor asked you as you sat on the chair with tears in your eyes, shaking your head.

,,I put my baby in danger,“ you sobbed, but the doctor in charge of you quickly calmed you down.

,,It’s a girl, a strong girl, just like her mother. You will be able to do better from now on,“ she told you.

You were in a kind of trance when you left the building with a lot of information and the news of a girl growing below your heart.

,,Are you okay?“ Jaehee asked you. Now that you were pregnant, she was even more worried about you.

,,I need to see Saeran,“ you whispered.

Jaehee nodded. ,,But you will eat first, you're pregnant,“ she whispered.

Jaehee told Jumin the situation, who then sent Saeran at home without ruining the surprise, but of course the soon to be CEO already planned to make you guys move and help you if you needed anything.

,,Mc… Jumin sent me home because he said you were sick…“ he mumbled with trembling lips, kneeling in front of you and taking your hand.

You were still watching a video on how to make hairstyles when you made him get up.

Placing his hand on your belly you teared up again.

,,We're pregnant,“ you told him, making the young boy the happiest with this news.

Jihyun

You and Jihyun already decided for yourselves that you wanted to do more for people in the world who were neglected by their parents and family. The first step was to adopt Lucy.

But you also began to be foster parents, enjoying the time you had with the children around you and loving them with everything you had.

Of course, you always cried a lot when they had to leave again.

It was hard to see children feeling comfortable with you and fearing to go back home. You hated the feeling of vulnerability.

But you wouldn’t trade this wonderful job you had with anyone.

One morning,  however, you were way too sleepy and sickly to even get out of bed, making Jihyun takeover the tasks you usually did.

Lucy stayed by your side since her mommy was sick.

This went on for more weeks. Sometimes you felt better and other days you still felt sick.

At some point, you couldn’t bear it anymore and decided to go to the doctor.

The surprise you faced there was very heartwarming.

As soon as you got the news, you rubbed your hands in happiness and you were on your way home.

You already had a girl, and a second one would make you more than happy. Well, even if it came out to be a boy at the end, as long as it was happy, you didn’t care about the gender.

Going back home Jihyun greeted you and took your hands. ,,What did they say?“ he asked you, concerned for your health.

,,I need to practice more,“ you told him, making him wonder what you meant.

You already did enough exercise so why would they say that?

You called Lucy, who ran up to you and hugged you.

,,Come, I will do your hair,“ you said with a warm smile, brushing her long hair first and then trying some new styles.

It’d already been sixteen weeks since you received the news of being pregnant.

Since you and Vanderwood didn’t live together yet and met almost daily, he still didn’t notice.

Well, you didn’t even tell him.

You had planned on telling him as soon as you knew the baby‘s sex.

Also, you still wanted to make sure that he wanted to have a baby with you.

But you had your affirmation one day when he criticized the apartment you were falling for.

You thought you would hurt yourself and your child when no impact hit you. Instead, strong arms surrounded you, holding you.

His voice was trembling.
