Neal giving you his hoodie
Tumblr media
Hey my lovelies, back with my hero for today! I hope your enjoying this so far and I've got so much more to come! Credit to cafekitsune for the banner and the divider!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎃You ar walking through Storybrook when Neal first notices you rubbing your arms. He questions you about it, yet you're quick to brush it off telling him you're only a little chilly.
🎃Neal lets it go at first. The two of you grab a coffee (or favourite hot drink) in a subtle attempt to warm you up.
🎃Neal knows you're colder than your lettig on but you're too stubbrn to admit it. Neal begains to walk closer to you in an attempt to share his body heat.
🎃Eventually Neal sees you shivering and he can't handle it. He shrugs off his jacket and gives it to you. Of course you protest but he shrugs it off and wraps his arms around you.
🎃Neal knows he's not the perfect gentlemen. However, he's worried you are going to get sick.
🎃Neal would also zip the jacket up to keep the warmth in.
🎃From this moment forwards, Neal always carries a spare jacket with him. Just in-case you're cold again.
🎃Neal would also begin finding excuses for you to wear his clothes because he realises how good you look in them.

Rumple: Dandelions symbolize everything I want to be in life
Belle: Fluffy and dead with a gust of wind?
Rumple: Unapologetic. Hard to kill. Feral, filled with sunlight, bright, beautiful in a way that the conventional and controlling hate but cannot ever fully destroy. Stubborn. Happy. Bastardous. Friends with bees. Highly disapproving of lawns. Full of wishes that will be carried far after I die. Neal: edible

Is This Love Persevering? (It Feels More Like The End of the World)—A CaptainCroc Fic
So this is a fic in which Rumple actually gets to attend Bae’s funeral (bc Zelena can just get fricking lost for making it so Rumple didn’t get to do that) (actually she killed Bae, too, so
.) (she can just get lost either way). Also it’s CaptainCroc; like most of my fics for this pairing, I’m operating on the base assumption that they were together for some length of time before the curse, and for either heart-sharey reasons or bc Killian still ended up in Neverland or some other ✹magical BS✹ like that, Killian has the canon-typical extended lifespan. (Not quite sure why I explained that part, it seems pretty obvious, but whatever.)
I felt sentimental and I had a couple of sads lying around, so...this is the result. Enjoy seems a bit odd of a word to use, considering the plot? but read on!
There weren’t many people at the gravesite. Emma and Henry were there; Henry at least had as much right to be there as Rumple did, given that Bae was his father, and Emma
Rumple had considered her an irritating obstacle from time to time, but she had loved his son, and for that he liked her. Her parents stood beside her, David’s arm around her shoulders, and Mary Margaret holding one of Emma’s hands and one of Henry’s.
Only one person stood by Rumple. He felt alone, if he was being honest, and despite the warmth of Killian’s hand in his, there was a chill that cut through his bones.
They might all say they were there for Bae, but it was only partially true. The Charmings were there for their daughter and grandson; Emma was there for Henry and he was there for her
Killian was there for Rumple. It hurt that, even after he had tried to die for them (although that in itself was also mostly for Bae), and although it was his child whose body was being lowered into the ground, the Charming clan didn’t seem to consider Rumple in need or deserving of their comfort.
Rumple felt the weariness of his accumulated centuries in every fiber of his body as the coffin finally reached the bottom of the grave. His son was in that damn box, but at the same time he wasn’t, and it was simply too much.
He felt some small twinge of comfort in the fact that Mayor Mills, a queen in their home realm and one of the most important people in Storybrooke, was the one to speak the funeral rites. Bae deserved at least that much.
“Neal Cassidy—Baelfire—regardless of which name we knew him by, he was a good man,” Regina said. Her voice had a note of genuine sorrow in it. “He was the father of my son, for which I will always be grateful to him.” She glanced over at Henry, and Rumple could see the pain that came from imagining that it was her child to be buried. “He died a hero, like his father.”
She paused for a moment of silence. Henry’s sniffles and the rustling of the leaves of a nearby tree were the only sounds in the air.
Regina spoke again before anyone else. “The family is invited to throw in a handful of dirt before the coffin is fully interred.”
Rumple approached the grave first. The coffin had been decorated with flowers; roses from Emma, something small and white from the Charmings, and a single yellow lily from Rumple. (Bae had always loved yellow.) Now, Rumple poured a handful of dark, stony dirt onto the coffin, trickling over the bright petals.
Most of the people in the cemetery weren’t actually Bae’s relatives, but Henry, Killian, and Emma also took their turns at the grave.
Then, just like that, it was over. Mayor Mills left the cemetery first, followed closely by Mary Margaret and David. Emma and Henry stayed until the last of the dirt was heaped into the grave by city workers, and then they were gone too.
Rumple allowed himself to lean against Killian more heavily. He didn’t bother to hold back the tears that had been accumulating throughout the whole ghastly afternoon. “He didn’t deserve that, Killian. He still could’ve had a good life,” Rumple sobbed.
“I believe in an afterlife, love,” Killian said softly. “And I know Bae is having a good one of those.”
“How can he? He died for me. Dying for an evil man isn’t how you get into heaven.”
“His death was a supreme act of love and forgiveness, Rumple. I know he shouldn’t have died so young. I know it’s killing you because it’s killing me and whatever I feel, you’re feeling it times fifty. But I also know that you raised him right, when you had him, and he didn’t step off the good path even though he had a lot of anger. There’s no way our son is going to hell.”
Rumple stared at the patch of fresh earth in front of him, so newly-filled there was no grass. He should plant lilies there, when things warmed up, so Bae would never be without something beautiful. He had earned at least that.
“We should go home now, Rumple. We can come back tomorrow, and every day after that if you like, but you need to rest.”
He didn’t feel tired, just worn, but for once Rumple didn’t argue. He couldn’t bear to leave Bae’s grave, to leave Bae alone, but he also couldn’t stand to be there for another second.
They had only been home for five minutes when someone knocked on the front door. Killian went to answer it, while Rumple poured hot water into two mugs.
Killian re-entered the kitchen with Mary Margaret in tow. “Rumple, Mrs. Charming wanted to talk to you,” Killian said. His attempt at humor, light as it was, didn’t mean a thing to either him or Rumple. It was automatic, but it would be a while before he could really joke or laugh again.
“Some of our friends left food outside our apartment,” Mary Margaret said. “And we were about to start our dinner, when we realized
we had everyone gathered except the person who cared about Neal the most. And we also realized that you could probably use a few friends in your corner right now. Would you like to have dinner with us?”
Part of Rumple wanted to say no, to isolate himself in his bedroom and live alone with his grief. They hadn’t cared before, but Killian had, so he should stay at home with Killian and ignore the Charmings’ collective existence.
That wasn’t what Bae would want. He would want Rumple to be open, because openness was a step away from the dark. How much better would both of their lives have been if Rumple had been the man his son wanted—needed—him to be?
“We have time,” Rumple said, glancing at Killian. There was pride in his eyes, shining out past the heavy surface sorrow. “We’ll come.”
Not too long later, Rumple was seated, only semi-comfortably, on the Charmings’ couch with a mug of chicken soup in his hands. It felt strange to be seated among the heroes, and it felt stranger to know they were sharing a common emotional state.
Henry was upstairs in his room; Mary Margaret mentioned that he had been asleep for a while. Emma sat on one of the stools at the kitchen counter, her head leaned on her hand as she ate her way steadily through a dish of lasagna. Killian and Mary Margaret were at the table, both eating from a dish of ice cream that sat between them.
Which left Rumple sitting next to David.
They weren’t exactly enemies, but David always viewed Rumple as a threat to his family and as a result their interactions were generally tense. Rumple respected that, even if he actually found Mary Margaret to be the more intimidating of them.
Most of the evening passed in silence. Rumple preferred that; he knew what each person would have to say, and it wouldn’t help. Emma, something about how Bae was Henry’s father, and she wasn’t sure what to do for Henry. (After all, that, rather than the way she had loved him, was what would be on her mind.) Mary Margaret would try to say something comforting, but of course it wouldn’t work and then everyone would be *more* down. Killian would tell some story about meeting Bae in Neverland when he was younger that would be funny, or sentimental (maybe both, knowing him) and everyone except Killian and Rumple would feel better. David would probably try to distract them from the subject of Bae entirely, and that would fail, too.
The silence was much better.
And then, in the blink of an eye, it was morning. Rumple found himself curled up against Killian’s side, Killian resting his head on the arm of the couch. And David was on the other end of the couch, Rumple’s feet crossed over his lap and resting on the other arm. Mary Margaret was slumped over the table, a pillow under her face—Rumple suspected Killian had put it there—and Emma was sprawled out across her parents’ bed.
It was far from the perfect life, especially for Rumple. In the perfect life, his son would still be alive.
But having a family, even a makeshift, undefinable family to help get him through his grief
he supposed that might be considered a good life. And maybe in a month or two, he might be well enough to enjoy it.
Knowing he was safe for the time being, he curled closer to Killian and began to sob.

woah! was that BAELFIRE/NEAL CASSIDY walking down main street? i heard they’re not actually from ivy cove but come from ONCE UPON A TIME. they’re 200+ and live in FULTON PARK but watch out because they can be DECETIFUL + LOYAL but are actually EMPATHETIC + DETERMINED. despite them NOT HAVING memories, you’ll always think of THE ONE LEFT BEHIND, A LIFETIME RUNNING, SIX REGRETS BEFORE BREAKFAST when imagining them.
Once Upon A Time...
Once upon a time in the Enchanted Forest, there was a family that seemed to be of little importance. They were only peasants, and the father had injured himself to avoid a war, and before long she ran away with Captain Hook. Still, Baelfire grew up happy enough, though as he got older he knew he'd be drafted to fight in the Ogre Wars, at least until his father instead became the Dark One to keep him safe. But things started getting worse, until eventually Baelfire made a deal with the Blue Fairy for a way to get to a world without magic, so that they could live a calmer life. Only, when it came to it, he fell through the portal, and his father stayed behind. He ended up in London, until to protect the Darlings, he went to Neverland where he was trapped by Peter Pan for 200 years, unaware at the time the boy was his Grandfather. Neal Cassidy was living in New York when he met Emma, though not knowing who she was. For a while they were happy, until August showed up, revealing he knew who Baelfire was, and Emma's own destiny. Although it meant he'd not only lose her but that his father could find him, he also knew if she went she would finally find her parents. It wasn't until a decade later he received the postcard from Storybrooke, by then he was engaged to Tamara. Soon after, Emma arrived with his father, but also the revelation that they had a son. Not wanting his son to grow up the way he and Emma had, although feeling very late, he went back to Storybrooke with them. Eventually this would lead to his death, as he sacrificed himself to save his family.
Ivy Cove
As far as he's concerned, Neal is his real name, this is the only realm, he's aged normally, and Peter Pan and Rumpelstiltskin are just fairytales. Happy endings he does believe in however, as he is married to Emma, but right now neither remember Henry.

❀Neal's confident in your relationship with you. However, he's not fond of outside interference.
❀When the two of you are out at a bar and some drunken idiot tries to make a move on you. He moves quickly as he deters the man from you. He doesn't understand why people think it's acceptable to harass others.
❀Neal doesn't like it when people don't respect boundaries. If they know you are together, why would they purposely flirt with you? It drives Neal insane.
❀Neal will confront them. He's harsh in his communication. Flirting with you is not acceptable. He doesn't understand why he thinks it's okay.
❀It drives Neal insane when you're oblivious to what's going on. How can you not see how shamelessly the man is flirting with you? It does cause conflict between the two of you sometimes.
❀Sometimes Neal will stand behind you while the man is flirting with you just to see how pathetic they are. He can't help but laugh until he finally puts the guy out of his misery.
❀Neal does let things fly occasionally, sometimes it depends on the man's actions. If they're persistent, he'll intervene. If they touch you, they will regret it.

Okay, adding more:
— Flirty mess × Flirty mess is the best duo. The flirtatiousness levels are so huge that it needs to be paired with another to be controlled (this is simply science).
— It's so weird for both of them! Like, If Killian hadn't abandoned Neal in Neverland, they probably would create a father/son bond or something. But that didn't happen! That connection didn't develop and Neal isn't that kid anymore. He's not even Baelfire anymore. There's years of difference between that kid and Neal Cassidy. Like, is there still some Baelfire in him? Yes of course. When we grow up, we don't simply lose all the requests of our previous selves. But again, there is a big distance. And I would love to see Killian noticing that.
It doesn't matter what Killian said in that scene. In fact, Neal isn't really the same boy. He's a grown man that Killian didn't have the opportunity to get to know (and that breaks my heart).
Okay, I derailed from my point. Also the fact that...uh, you know, the Milah thing. It would be even weirder. Imagine Killian trying to deal with the guilt of falling in love with the son of the woman he once loved. Imagine Neal trying to reconcile the conflicting feelings against his own mother and trying to deal with the fact that he was in love with the man who was almost his stepfather. Like, imagine every time Neal sees Killian without his clothes and his eyes flicker to the tattoo that Killian made in her honor. Which is also a promise of revenge against his father (who killed his mother and was responsible for cutting off Killian's hand). It's a lot of guilt to deal with. A lot of baggage for human beings to bear while trying to develop a relationship with each other.
It's sad and beautiful. Beautiful because....yeah, have a lot of pain. But there is also a good side. Neal would never have had the opportunity to teach Henry how to sail if it weren't for Killian. Neal wouldn't know how to map the stars. He wouldn't have learned a lot of things if he hadn't meet Killian on that age.
And I really think his little self genuinely admired that pirate he knew as a child. Who saved him, smiled at him and taught him these little things that are really important. Who saw himself in him and understood his pain. That admiration returned when Neal realized that not everything had been a lie. That that pirate really could be a good man.
They're bittersweet, they're cursed, they could be immensely unhealthy or sweetly healthy. They could be so many things. If only the show treated Neal as a real character, and not a pivot to character development. If only they gave time for hookfire actually talk about their past and not throw them in that love triangle meaningless trash đŸ˜©
I'm horrible at explaining why I ship a ship (romantically, in this case) but anyway, I'll try because I was thinking on hookfire and now I want to talk about them. I think one of the main reasons I ship them is the past! It's complicated, sad and tragic and generally that's one of my biggest reasons for liking a ship. Because most people doubt that people with a background like that could genuinely fall in love with each other. But I believe that nothing is impossible (with the power of fanfiction). I'm not much of an angst lover, but the sadness they cause me is another reason for me to ship them. There's something beautiful and melancholy about falling in love with someone you've deeply failed. In looking at the person you love every day and remembering that a large part of that person's suffering was caused by you. I have similar feelings with swanfire (I don't know if it's just me, but I can draw parallels). It's just deliciously painful.
I also think their personalities match. They would be silly and funny, and Neal would make Killian laugh freely with ridiculous jokes and he also would get really exasperated every single time (because he might have chosen someone worse than himself). They would compete every moment, for no reason, like two children. They would be a mess and they would be really wonderful while being a fucking mess.
The last reason it's because they're sexy. End of discussion.

Mist Haven Drabble
One of my Mist Haven headcanons is that Baelfire would be a soldier and of course, being one he would have to do whatever mission/quest/thing (sorry
I’m not good at knowing what these sorts of things are called) Charming sends him on. Well, when Emma sees him off she’ll tell him:
“Use your head; stay safe and don’t go contracting any deadly diseases
”
“You mean something like syphilis?” He asks with a mischievous grin.”
Emma furrows her brows, unimpressed. “No!” She exclaims as she shoves his chest. “That’s not funny even as a joke.” She rolls her eyes. “I was talking about diseases like the Sweat, measles, influenza, the ‘darn’ Plague! Those kinda of things.”
“I was only joking.” He says as he wraps his arm around her neck, pulling her close to kiss her head.
She stays there for a moment, taking in his scent before pulling back. “You may be joking but I was serious, Bae
” She looks up at him, her eyes wide with concern.
He notices the worry on her face and immediately feels bad. “I’m sorry,” he moves a strand of hair from her face before cupping her cheek with his palm. “I’ll tell you what; I promise I won’t catch anything like syphilis,” he paused and grins again, thinking he’s funny but instead earns a well-deserved eye roll from Emma. “and though I can’t promise I won’t catch the Plague or the Sweat, I promise that I’ll do all I can not to catch those. How’s that?”
Emma raises her hand to his still on her cheek; her eyes still displaying worry. She sighs. “I guess that’s the best you can do.” She squeezes his wrist. “Can you also promise me you’ll take a bath as often as possible?”
Baelfire wrinkles his nose. “You’ll never know if I do or not, will you?”
Emma rolls her eyes again. Once a peasant boy, always a peasant boy. “Scoff at the notion all you want, but my family has always believed that bathing keeps diseases at bay. Look at me,” she takes a step back and gestures to herself. “I’ve taken baths my whole life and I’ve only been sick a few times in my life.”
He steps forward and as he’s about to lean in to kiss her, he feels her palm pushing against his chest. He looks at her quizzically.
“At least try to fit in a couple of them a week? When possible? For me? Please?”
It’s pointless arguing with Emma; always a losing battle. It’s best to just give her what wants. “As you wish,” he conceded. “I’ll take one when I have the time.” He leans in to kiss her.
She returns his kiss before throwing her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. She buries her face in his neck, once again breathing in his scent. “Come back to me
” she mouths, almost inaudibly.

Family Ties (Pt.9)
Tumblr media
Part Nine - The End
Pan x Reader
Word counter: 2.4 k
"Where are we going?" Regina questioned, clearly worried that we were running out of time.
"We're going to the Pixie Woods. Its where all the pixie dust used to grow, before kids stopped believing. It's completely deserted now. No one, not even me, has been there for centuries. Except for Pan" I whispered at the end while swatting pesky bugs, and maneuvering around large palm frowns. About a mile away from the outskirt of the woods I stopped the group, turning to face them.
"I think that from here on out you guys should stay at least, twenty yards away from me."
"What? Why?" Baelfire said growing worried.
"If Pan sees you here, of all the places on the island, I'm not sure what he'll do. This place is like a sanctuary to him. And he only usually comes here in the worst of time. Plus if its just me I might be able to convince him to forgive me. Give him the same sob story we gave to the lost boys. Then maybe while I'm distracting him, Regina and Emma could try to immobilize him with magic or something? Kinda like I did to you back at the camp." I suggested.
"Okay. Be safe." Bae said pulling me in for a sudden hug. "Don't let him manipulate your feeling. You're stronger than you think." He whispered quietly into my ear. I nodded my head in understanding, pulling away, giving him a tight-lipped smile before moving forward. I barely made it two steps forward when Regina grabbed my arm pulling my attention back to her.
"Good luck." She said simply before setting me free. I gave them each a quick once over before finally heading into the woods.
As I walked I tried to focus on keeping a steady pace while constantly reminding myself to breathe as the nerves calmed firmly onto my mind. I know Pan wasn't going to back down without a fight, but as much as I wanted to save Henry for the group and myself, I didn't know if I actually had the strength to hurt him. After roughly ten minutes of walking in silence, I finally enter the center of the woods. I look around trying to find Pan, when I spotted Pandora's box sitting on a rock. I carefully begin to approach it, knowing that Pan wouldn't just leave it behind for no reason.
"I wouldn't touch that if I were you."
I jumped at the sudden voice, as I turned around looking at Pans smirk figure.
"Are you still at this game? I thought by now you would have learned."
I took a deep breathe in before saying, "Why?" I asked letting the plan fly completely out of the window.
"Why, what love?"
"Why couldn't you do it for me, give up the heart? Why did you take away the one thing that I wanted more than anything, away from me?"
"I knew that they would just turn their backs on you like your father did the moment they got what they wanted, plus it took hundreds of years to find the solution to save our youth. And I didn't see the point in letting it walk away just because an unexpected component showed up."
"So that means that my wants are always gonna come second if something you want shows up first?"
"Of course not, love! But this was bigger than both of us and you know that." He said rushing forward placing his hands on my shoulders.
"I have trust issues, Peter! You know this! I know this! Everyone knows this! And yet you ignored that. You were the person that I trusted more than everyone. You saved me. And you took that trust and you through it in the trash, like it meant nothing."
"How did I do that?" He said, confused.
"I trusted you to always be there for me. To always have my back. And the time I need you to have that same trust in me. In what I believed in you walked away." I whispered as tears began to leave my eyes. I tried to turn away as I brought my hands up to eyes to wipe away the evidence of my emotions. "And now I don't know what to do because I cant stay here and look at you, cause I know that I will only see that betrayal. And I cant go with them because when I look at them all I see is that failure to save Henry, that failure to prove my self-worth."
"What are you talking about!? Leaving Neverland? I cant be here without you." He said pulling me back towards him.
"I'm hurt, Peter. The only thing I ever asked you to do, you wouldn't even consider it. While any time you ever asked me to do anything, I'd jump on the task because I knew you wouldn't have asked if it wasn't important."
"You have to stay, we can work everything out."
"Would you be saying that if our roles were reversed? If I had won and you had lost?"
"I don't think I could imagine my life without you in it."
"But would you be able to forgive me?" I pushed, as he tried to avoid the question at hand.
Pan looked me in the eye his own darting from mine to my lips, silently begging me to give up on receiving an actual answer. I felt even more tears fall down my face as I pulled Pan in for what I assumed what was going to be our last kiss for a long time or possibly forever. My hand rose and was placed on his chest, giving his shirt a small tug. After what seemed like an eternity, but was really was only seconds.
"Ow!" Pan froze. I slowly pulled away looking down at the ground letting the tears fall freely.
"What...Why...why can't I move?" Pan said confused by his sudden lack of mobility.
I clenched his shirt one more time before looking him in the eyes once again. "I really wish you would have had faith in me, Peter...They did." I quickly shoved my hand into his chest and wrapping it around Henry's beating heart, averting my eyes from his face. As I pulled my hand free I heard the sounds of approaching moving feet.
I fully disconnected myself from Pan and began to move past him. I grabbed Pandora's box off the rock on which it laid. Then headed towards the edge of the clearing as Emma, Regina, and Bae as they came into view. I push them back a few feet ensuring that we were out of Pan's earshot.
"Sorry it took so long, their magic wasn't working so I had to make a makeshift blow dart covered in nightshade." Bae explained.
I handed the heart to Regina silently, before saying, "Hurry. Take Henry and get him the hell off this island before it's too late, and the nightshade wares off..."
Regina and Emma gave a swift nod then turned and rushed back to the camp.
I turn to Bae, handing him the box, before saying, "Go with them. I'll be there as soon as I can."
"You want me to leave you alone with him after what we just pulled? Are you crazy?"
"I promise you I'll only be a minute. I'm a big girl, I'll be fine."
"Fine. But if you aren't right behind me by the time I get the camp. I'm coming back for you."
"Okay, I'll be quick." I whispered. Bae gave a stiff nod before sending a quick glance Pans way, then turning to head towards the camp. I slowly moved back into Pans direction before stopping a few feet in front of him.
"What not gonna run off with your family, to celebrate your utter betrayal?" Pan said harshly, clearly hurt by my actions.
"I love you. and I know that you're pissed and that you probably hate me at the moment, but I don't regret doing it. Because of their family. and I know you would do the same thing."
"That was your wrong love. I would never betray you like this. And I know you don't regret anything. Cause these tree feed off of regret and yet not one of them has made a single move towards you as you grabbed that box."
"I'm going to see them off. and by the time the nightshade wheres off, they'll be long gone. And once they are you can punish me for not following through with the plan, then after however long it takes and you forgive me, we can start looking for another way to save you and the island."
"But I'm never going to forgive you. You will be dead to me, the moment they step foot off this island. So your punishment is going to last a lifetime, and it's going to be more painful than you could ever imagine." He sneered, as he shot looks of anger towards me. I gave a small nod, knowing that what I had been fearing this whole time was finally becoming a reality. I gave him one last look before following the path Bae had taken back towards the camp.
The moment I walked into the camp I say the Storybrooke group crowded around a now concuss Henry.
"Welcome back, young sir. Only the best for our guest of honor. Don't you think? Captains quarters." Hook said, smiling down at Henry.
"Come on, I'll tuck you in." Regina said ushering him onto the boat. I watched quietly from the trees when Bae noticed my presence.
"Well? Arent, you coming?" Bae asked me as he watched their retreating figures disappear onto the boat.
"No."
"What?!" He questioned, his eyes wiping towards my figure.
"Bae, I'm glad I saved Henry. But this island is my home and the Lost Boys already thought that I abandoned them once and I'll be damned if they think that again."
"But what about Pan? I'm sure he was something nasty planned for you after this. And if he doesn't the Felix definitely does."
"Then Ill face that when the time comes. I still love him. Even though I'm sure he doesn't feel the exact same way as he did before today. And I've been on Pan's bad side before and I've seen how others have been treated when they were on his bad side. So I have a small idea of what to expect. But I don't regret helping you. I don't regret saving Henry. So whatever happens, I'll be okay." I said giving him a slight smile.
"Y/N... Come with us. I cant leave you to here knowing that Pan is going to retaliate."
"I'm sorry Bae. I won't leave my lost boys again."
"Then bring them with you."
"What? I cant bring them. If I brought them they wouldn't know the first thing about your new world. Hell, I don't even know anything about your world. We've all been on Neverland longer than most people have been alive on there."
"I'm mean, sure it will be an adjustment. But Y/N, you're forgetting that a lot of the lost boys are from that world. Hell, I was brought here from there, and I went back. And I turned out just fine."
I thought about the idea that he was offering. Could I really leave? Could I really take all of the lost boys away from Neverland? Could I really leave Pan behind without the possibility of coming back for him? I thought back and forth between the two boys. One representing the past while the other represented the future. If I stayed I would suffer for hurting Pan in a way that I didn't know I was capable of. But if I went, then that meant that I would never be able to truly earn his forgiveness, or know if there was an actual chance of working everything out between us. "I don't know..."
"What if we asked them? See if they want to come? I'm sure that they will, but this way you could see exactly how they feel themselves." Bae turned from me and walked towards the group of lost boys who sat on the opposite side of the camp. "Everyone." Bae stated grabbing the boys attention. " We all know that you're loyal to Pan. But we care about you. We care about what happens to you when we leave this island. And Pans gonna be angry. At us. At Y/N. And at you... We can save you. We can take you to a land were Pan can never harm you to manipulate you guys again. Were he can never get to you again. So my question to you is, do you want to come?"
The lost boys all listen intently to him before looking from one another to me. I stared at them all intensely trying to figure out what they were thinking, and how they would answer.
"Could you really take us home?" One of the boys finally spoke up.
"Absolutely." Bae whispered.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" I said looking at them softly. They all gave very hesitant nods before moving their eyes back to Bae.
He turned to me before saying, "So you have their answer. Whats yours?"
I looked at the boys, then Bae, then the ship and everyone waiting to get on before I made my Final decision.
"Okay. Let's load up".
They boys all hooted and hollered before rushing to the ship pushing each other to get on board first.
Bae wrapped his arm around my shoulders, giving my forehead a quick kiss before saying, "Good choice. I wasn't gonna leave you here anyways. You don't abandon family... even when they want you too."
We began to walk up to the Jolly Rodger when I hesitated for a slight second. "Don't worry your not gonna be alone. Were all here for you." I took a deep breath before nodding and walking onto a ship I swore to never step foot onto again. After ten minutes all of the lost boys and the Storybrooke crew were below the deck preparing for taking off.
I thought back to all the good time spent on this island and how I never expected to be leaving. When Jared and Ben came and stood next to me. I bent down and scooped up Ben once the boat began to lift into the air and away from the island.
"So whats next for the lost girl and her little gang of boys?" Jared spoke leaning over the railing, watching the island disappear into the distance.
"Hopefully adventure."
So that’s it! That’s the end of Family Ties! I do have an idea for a sequel but if or when it gets posted will be posted is yet to be decided. Thank you all so much for the amazing support and encouragement that you've given me through this series. If you're interested in the sequel let me know and I’ll jump right on it!
