Interestingly, Joseph said Elisa was the sibling most similar to Napoleon, but Napoleon and Elisa were never super close.

3 January 1777–Elisa Bonaparte, the first of three sisters of Napoleon, and future Grand Duchess of Tuscany, is born in Ajaccio, Corsica. Napoleon would later describe her as having “a masculine mind, a forceful character, noble qualities and outstanding intelligence.”

He did - Pauline to be exact. They had a rather flirtatious correspondence. 

Fun fact: She sold him her house in Paris then used the money fund Napoleon’s escape from Elba, which is one of my favourite stories of their interactions. 

Pauline can have some sweet sweet cash money to help her brother reclaim his throne ,, . as a treat?

Never underestimate Pauline.

Mary Wickes's first Disney role was in 1958 for the Mickey Mouse Club serial, Annette, and the Zorro series later that year. In 1972 she was in Disney's Napoleon & Samantha and Snowball Express. A couple of decades later she was in Sister Act (1992) and Sister Act 2 (1993), then provided the voice of Laverne in her last film - The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996).
